title = My Secret
text = In my heart, my fear does not hide its presence. She dances, exposing her gray arms that weave through my veins and possess me in a shudder. For this unwavering support, this assurance of never being alone, I owe her my song.$$C’est mon hymne$Mon hymne à la peur$Caché en profondeur, grince$Une vieille porte$Qu’on ouvre doucement$$The silence is broken, I move slowly. I am upright, proud, and I feel my teeth sharpening. Against my claws, the heart in my hand is boiling. The warmth of the outbursts of anguish invades me like a caress. I feel the promise of similar tomorrows in their most horrifying aspects.$$À ma portée$Noir de ses cendres$Un tronc qui flambe se replient$Les soldats blessés$D’un combat acharné$$War will not be so easily buried. Drums, trumpets are blowing, a tribal dance is just beginning. I dip my fingers and cover myself in blood. The movements are jerky, like the throbbing in my chest. Jump, spin, scream, terrify innocent souls.$$Fragile chose$Tremble dans la nuit$La terre meuble$$My strength disperses, leaving my disjointed body. In fact, I am this garden’s disturbed soil, a stinking fertilizer. I no longer have anything of the gentleness of the child, but I retain all its weakness. I am the blood of the severed artery, leaking faster than my shadow.$$I'm a coward.

title = Tea,$by Ayla
text =Last month, I met a man. He walked between the two layers of a wall, because he likes the warmth of the insulation. He invited me to tea, I declined. "Never the first time," I let him know. $$The following week, we ran into each other again. He was moving with his head floating in the air at the end of a rope, because it was very light that day. He invited me to tea, I refused. "I don't hang out with airheads," I explained to him. $$The following week, I saw him again. He carried a camel on his back, because he was too tired to mount it. He invited me to tea, I agreed. "I like cautious men," I confessed. $$The next day I went to his house for tea. He opened the door to me with his feet, his hands busy washing the dishes, because he wanted to impress me with their sharpness. He handed me my cup of tea, I didn't touch it. "I don't trust men who look too clean," I told him.$$The next week, I went back to his house for tea. He was moving around completely invisible, because he was embarrassed that I saw him dressed like that. He handed me my cup of tea, I didn't drink it. "I like to see the person I'm talking to," I lectured him. $$Yesterday I knocked on his house for tea. He was so surprised that he stuck to the walls and climbed up like a lizard. Since then, he has been walking on the ceiling. He invited me to have tea again, but I refused him. "I like men with both feet on the ground," I told him.

title = On the Dangers of Arcana,$by Cait
text =Juliette took to the road, crying. It was cold that day, so much so that she was afraid that the tip of her nose would fall off, but she had to get to her destination. So she walked briskly, trembling. $$On the path through the wood, snow covered the ground, except there, near the big tree. The closer Juliet got to it, the stranger it seemed. The absence of snow formed a perfect circle, with a metal sphere in its center installed on a small foot, which allowed it to stay in place. $$Juliette approached and entered the circle. Immediately, a gentle warmth crept up to her limbs. Surprised, the young woman knelt beside the strange object. She took off her mittens and warmed her hands by moving them a few inches from the sphere. But she wanted it to be warmer. Gently, she brought a finger close to the object and at its burning touch, she withdrew her hand. Then she went back and removed the upper part of the sphere, making her skin redden. Little hands of fire held on to the edge and a dancing head appeared. An incandescent look stared at Juliette, "It's not a moment too soon!" it said.$$-What?! $$The flames inside the container dimmed, as if suddenly there had been less oxygen. Juliette blinked, then brought her hand close to the little monster. She felt invigorated by the heat, but she wanted more... Footsteps startled her, and she closed the lid on the beast. She grabbed the sphere and ran deeper into the wood, letting the hot metal burn her flesh. $$Out of breath, she made sure she was alone before stopping. She then put her finding back down and opened it again. The glow of the flames shone on her hands where the blisters had taken up residence, but never mind! A dull need for warmth rose within her, How could she have lived without this burning desire? The eyes that stared at her told her, "impossible", she needed to get closer to them. $$The pain in her hand should have made her hesitate. She should have stopped stretching her fingers out at the glowing beast. She should have... What? What was physical suffering when such a sense of well-being overwhelmed her? She played with the flames, watching her fingers melt, her sleeves catching fire, with a sense of fullness like she had never known. But it wasn't enough, it had to be hotter, hotter! She wanted to take in the heat, to finally feel consumed! $$Soon after, in the middle of a circle where the snow had melted, alone in the woods, the last flames of a bruised body were extinguished.

title = Testimonial of a first time,$by Charlotte
text =Careful! I'm coming.$$I let out a scream as Korai's movement made me feel like my body was being pierced. $$A shock runs through me from head to toe and I shudder. I've never felt anything like it. My body tingles. $$Honestly, I'm still not sure if it's a good idea, but I'd rather go through it with her, rather than put my life on the line because I'd be destabilized by the sensations that a stranger would cause in my body. $$When you play with magic, you always have to be able to control yourself, but I've always had the weakness of being too attentive to my body. My feelings can easily make my thoughts disappear and leave me defenseless against the other person and against myself. $$I let out a scream as another shock went through me. I can't say that the new sensation is completely unpleasant. But it hurts!$$I glare at her for a short moment before a shiver takes over. Does she like it or what? I had to insist that Korai let me live my first time with her and now she doesn't want to stop? One shot could have done the trick.$$But I know she's self-controlled and as gentle as she can be, and I know it's hard to go softly when you're used to giving everything you've got! So, I'm willing to forgive her for being a little sadistic with me... $$-Sorry! I couldn't control myself.$$Involuntary? yes, as if... Still, I'll never ask her to cast a spell on me again. Learning by doing is cheesy.

title = On Artifacts,$by Korai
text =Thesis given to Grand Witch Cait, as part of the exam for the title of Initiate.$$Londell’s Artifacts$Elven Artificer Ran Londell is, by definition, a genius. He is said to have created dozens of artifacts during his lifetime, each more incredible than the last, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. It is even said that he could see the future!$$The Hammer of the Sun$The Hammer of the Sun is, as the name suggests, a hammer. But not just any hammer. This is because the Hammer of the Sun can take any shape its wielder wants. No wonder since this artifact is said to have the power to change the world according to the will of its wearer. Rather useless artifact then, because we already have magic for that. Maybe its only usefulness comes from the fact that its wearer doesn't need a companion? An unanswerable question, as the last mention of the Hammer was more than two centuries ago, when the Hero of the Hammer and the Hero of the Watch defeated the tyrannical dragon Thundering Ice.$$The Hero's Watch$Very little is known about this watch, other than that it was worn by the Hero of the Watch, the Hero of the Hammer's comrade-in-arms. Without knowing exactly what it does, we can only speculate by focusing on the accomplishments of its wearer. It is said that the Hero of the Watch was always on time, could never be taken by surprise, and knew what you wanted to say before you even said it. Time magic or simple qualities, no one knows. But since there is no official and verified mention of magic capable of altering time, the mystery of the watch remains unsolved.$$The Demon's Mantle$The Demon's Mantle is nothing short of a legend. No one knows if the Mantle really exists, or what it looks like. Its powers have been greatly exaggerated over time, with some texts even claiming that it could grant any wish. In my opinion, it's a fable, pure and simple.$$Note from Grand Witch Cait$I've never read such a rag. No methodology, no source, no new information. As a result, candidate Korai fails the Initiate exam. She will be sent to do archaeological excavations near the Founder's Tomb and will have to write a thesis on her findings

title = My Diary
text =Day 1$$The school isn't huge, but there are so many different species that it mesmerizes me! I feel like it's going to be exciting! First day and I'm already exhausted. Besides, I think I'm the only human here.$$Day 5$$It's annoying: it seems like everyone already knows lots of stuff while I don't even know the basics. But Professor Cait is very supportive! She wants to help me get a companion. But for that I must go to the Dark Woods... It's scary! $$Day 8$$I got my companion! I named him Rocho, because he looks like a stone with legs. But since then, I've lost the interest of Grand Witch Cait. On the other hand, a mouse and a lizard agreed to help me. They're adorable, even if they're a little scary.$$Day 13$$The mouse is called Emie and the lizard (we say saxal, actually) Saga. Looks like I've made friends! In addition, Émie is willing to help me in my study! I'm sure I'll get strong super fast with her help! $$Day 20$$I wanted to talk to Grand Witch Cait, but no matter what I talk about, it seems like she ignores me. Is she sulking or what? What did I do?$$Day 29$$I caught Emie and Saga kissing in the corner. I guess that's normal in a school filled with girls. Personally, I can't really imagine doing that... $$Day 41$$I kissed Emie today... I'm not sure why. And maybe it would be more accurate to say that I let her kiss me... But anyway, it made me feel good. The other girls may be right. It's important to feel the warmth of other’s. $$Day 45$$I decided to take the first test: the Crude Elemental Conjuration. I felt really ready! And I failed. Now, I'm sure I won't be able to attract the attention of Grand Witch Cait. I wanted to impress her... $$Day 62$$I'm desperate because of the exam. I talked about it with Émie and Saga and they offered me to... sleep with them!? They say they do this every time they want to impress the gallery and that it works like hell! It's kind of a ritual apparently. I don't understand anything about magic... I think I'm going to refuse.$$Day 73$$They won. I agreed to have sex with them before taking my test again. Now I'm even more stressed. What if it doesn't work? But I've already failed the exam, so what do I have to lose, really? Other than my virginity...$$Day 74$$At first, we weren't supposed to go far and I was all tense. But the girls made me feel comfortable and at one point I lost my mind. I just remember that I grabbed Emie's head when she was between my legs, and Saga took the opportunity to sit on my face. Oh, I passed the exam too! $$Day 82$$I managed to talk with Grand Witch Cait! It was just a few words, but I'm sure it's because I passed my exam! Having talent really changes everything. $$Day 84$$I never thought I would be able to initiate a sexual relationship with a girl. But I did it! And without even needing any help!$$Day 95$$The three of us work very hard. A sex-study method has been developed. And it works! I'm feeling my whole body perpetually. It seems like I'm expecting a lick or a hand caressing me at any moment. I will take the next exam the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow, Émie and Saga promised me a real relaxation session, because I worked well. $$Day 97$$Yesterday I thought Saga would join us, but it was just Émie and me. She was so gentle with me. Once warmed up, she pulled out some kind of belt with a fake penis on each side. She put me in a lot of different positions, over and over again. It was... whew! I think I'm going to sleep with Emily tonight. $$Day 105$$Now that I've passed the Timed Demolition test, Grand Witch Cait has given me a mission! I need to go back to the Dark Woods and check what's going on. Grand Witch Cait says that the familiars are restless. I decided to go with Saga, who is so good in field study! With two of us, nothing bad can happen!$$$$It's been too long since you've been gone. I don't think you'll come back. I really shouldn't have let you go like that. $$Bye... I will never forget you. $$I miss you madly my friend$$I love you$$Émie

title = The Minos, an introduction
text =Chapter 5$One of the mysteries that hangs over the Minos is their durability over time. The Minos are, from the oldest sources, and even the Minos themselves, all minotaurs and include the entire species. All minotaurs are Minos, and all Minos are minotaurs. The aspect of inbreeding, even if weak if we consider a very large family, remains a problem. And yet, after centuries (or more) of reign, the Minos do not present any problems related to a gene pool that is too narrow. $$Stranger still, all Minos are female. From their founder, Minos the first, easily recognizable by her single hand, to today with princess (one day queen) Europa. No male heirs, or even any male individuals, have been seen or codified to date. $$The theory that the Minos possess magic capable of altering an individual's sex needs to be verified. However, there are no known spells or artifacts that possess this power. Alteration magic itself is an extremely difficult and dangerous field, one that even the greatest witches struggle to master on a medium scale. Completely transforming dozens of individuals through magic, with no visible consequences, is in all likelihood a fable. What's more, the biology of the Minos, like all magical creatures on this side of the spectrum of the twin-power theory (i.e., species such as elves, humans, and other species endowed with intelligence) can only reproduce sexually. So how do we explain the dozens of young Minos in each generation? $$Could the rumors that the Minos men are hidden and used as progenitor slaves be true, even if they are vehemently denied by the Minos?

title = The Dream
text =It is the story of a poor, ordinary woman who dreamed of being more, because in front of the mirror she found herself unattractive, because in the face of the attitude of others, it reflected herself as banal, Because in a crowd, she saw herself invisible. But at night, in the back of her mind, it was quite different. The men were ready to kiss her feet in the hope of a caress, and she was ready to kneel them.$$But when morning came, the smoke flew skyward, leaving only the ashes of her charred hopes. Until one day, a book ended up in front of her door. The appearance of the manuscript was comparable to her own: unattractive, banal, invisible. Yet, the nauseating and bewitching bouquet that the object exuded already promised to grant her most torrid wishes. $$Soon the people around her changed their gaze in her presence. Her desire increased and pushed her to tempt the men and women around her. As her hands turned pink, she lived her sexuality with incredible strength. As she enjoyed her new tattoo, she felt like she was devouring others with her seductive body. And when her eyes wept with joy, she gained the ability to devote herself completely to the junction of the flesh. Her desire to possess possessed her and made her an extraordinary being.

title = Discussion of Fortress Wards,$by Grand Witch Lizzy
text =It has always struck me as absurd that ancient fortresses, haunted castles, and other dungeon-like structures contain puzzles and wards that can be fundamentally solved by ordinary mortals. Since the architects of such buildings are undoubtedly powerful and intelligent mages and witches, why limit oneself to basic puzzles or hidden walls revealed with simple spells. A much better way to protect one's most valuable possessions would be to give adventurers and other looters of the world a false sense of progression through problems that are unsolvable without magic.$$For example, a changing pattern of candles that can only be controlled with a powerful flame spell, or a tile puzzle where the true arrangement can only be achieved by using a shuffling spell.
