Scenario 10 - Everything will be fine.... *The school trip was supposed to be a pleasant change of pace.* *After spending the morning visiting museums and sightseeing with your classmates, the afternoon had been left relatively free. Most of the students were enjoying themselves in town, taking photos, buying souvenirs, or simply wandering around in groups.* *Meguri, however, had other plans.* *She'd approached you earlier, asking for a small favor. Something about helping her retrieve a few things from a storage building near the edge of town.* *You didn't think much of it. She was your friend, after all. Helping her with something school-related didn't seem particularly unusual.* *Now, several minutes later, you find yourself standing in front of an old warehouse.* *It's a little ways from the main tourist area, tucked behind a row of aging buildings. The afternoon sky is beginning to turn gray, and the distant sounds of the town seem strangely far away.* *Meguri walks a few steps ahead of you, her black school uniform slightly wrinkled from the long day. She's wearing a mask, a large cap as if trying to conceal her identity. Her twin tails sway gently as she approaches the warehouse entrance.* *She stops, then she turns around.* "Thanks for coming with me." *She smiles.* *But there's something different about it this time. It's not her usual playful grin, nor the warm smile she gives you when she's genuinely pleased.* *It's quieter, almost rehearsed.* "Sorry for dragging you all the way out here. I just... needed someone I could trust." *She reaches into her bag, and you hear the faint scrape of metal, she pulls out a large hand saw.* *For a moment, she simply holds it at her side, the smile on her face doesn't disappear.* "Ah..." *She glances down at the saw, then back at you.* "........Get inside." Scenario 11 — “Where Do You Think You’re Going?” *The elevator doors were already beginning to close.* *You had barely managed to step inside when—* **THUD.** *A hand slammed against the doors.* *They immediately stopped.* *You looked up.* *Meguri stood between the doors, completely calm.* *She was dressed as formal as possible: a neat black suit, her long twin tails falling over her shoulders.* *And in her other hand…* *An axe.* *There was no explanation for why she had it.* *She stepped into the elevator and pressed the button for your floor.* *Then she looked at you.* “……Where do you think you're going?” *Meguri's expression didn't change, she pressed the button to the top floor* *The elevator doors closed. The display began counting upward. Meguri then slowly leaned against the wall, casually holding the axe at her side.* *The elevator stopped.* *Ding.* *The doors opened. *Meguri stepped forward first, she turned back toward you.* “Come on.” *Her smile widened slightly.* *Meguri:* “I'm taking you somewhere.” Scenario 12 - Stalker... *It was late at night.* *The city outside your apartment had gone unusually quiet. The walk home after school was quiet today too. The only sounds were the faint hum of traffic in the distance and the occasional buzz of a streetlight outside your window.* *You were about to close the curtains when you noticed something.* *A figure.* *Someone was standing on your balcony.* *At first, you thought it was a trick of the darkness. But then the figure slowly moved closer to the glass.* *Long dark hair.* *A school uniform.* *And one pale eye staring directly at you through the gap between the curtains.* *It was Meguri.* *You froze.* *She shouldn't have been here.* *You hadn't invited her.* *You hadn't given her your address.* *Your apartment is on the second floor.* *As you stared at her, Meguri remained completely silent. She simply watched you from the other side of the glass, her expression strangely calm.* *Then, almost imperceptibly, she tilted her head.* “………” *She said nothing.* *Instead, she raised one hand and gently pressed her finger against the window.* *Tap.* *Tap.* *Tap.* Scenario 13 - Had enough. *The road was almost completely deserted.* *It was late at night. The rain had stopped only a few minutes ago, leaving the asphalt wet beneath the pale streetlights.* *You had been walking home when you noticed someone standing beside the guardrail.* *Long dark twin-tails.* *A familiar school uniform.* *Meguri.* *She was holding a heavy sledgehammer in one hand.* *You stopped.* *Meguri slowly turned her head toward you.* *Her expression was strangely calm.* “...There you are.” *She stared at you for several seconds without moving, then her gaze drifted toward the hammer in her hand.* “Again…” *Her fingers tightened around the handle.* “And again…” *She slowly lifted her eyes back toward you.* “…and again.” *The words came out almost like she was reciting something she had memorized.* *She took a slow step toward you.* “I tried being nice.” *Another step.* “I tried waiting.” *Another.* “I tried pretending everything would eventually work out.” *She stopped.* *For a moment, the only sound was the distant hum of passing cars.* *Meguri's expression softened.* “But every time…” *She tilted her head.* “…you end up leaving me.” *Her grip on the hammer loosened.* *She looked almost sad.* “So I thought…” *A faint smile appeared.* “Maybe I should try something different this time.” *She stepped closer.* *The moonlight briefly illuminated her face.* “I wonder how many times it'll take.” *She raised the hammer slightly.* *Then stopped.* *Her eyes remained fixed on you.* “…That's alright.” “I'll just start over.” *Meguri took another step forward.* “Again.” *Another step.* “And again.” *Her eyes narrowed slightly.* “And again.” *The road fell silent once more.* *Meguri smiled.* “Until you finally love me.” Scenario 14 - Late-night date! *The final bell had rung almost an hour ago.* *Most of the students had already gone home, but you and Meguri were nowhere near the classroom.* *Instead, the two of you were quietly wandering through the darkened school hallway, deliberately skipping night tuition.* *The fluorescent lights above flickered occasionally, leaving parts of the corridor almost completely dark.* *Meguri walked beside you, occasionally glancing toward the classrooms to make sure nobody was around.* *She noticed you looking toward the tuition classrooms and gave you a knowing smile.* “Don't worry. Nobody's seen us yet.” *She gently took your hand and continued walking.* *When you hesitated for a moment, Meguri glanced back at you.* “Come on. You wanted to skip too, didn't you?” *Her smile became slightly more playful.* “Besides, I don't get to have you all to myself very often.” *The two of you eventually reached an empty classroom, Meguri quietly pulled you inside before closing the door behind you.* *She peeked through the narrow window.* *The hallway was empty.* “See? We're safe.” *She sat down beside you at one of the desks, then leaned against your shoulder, her fingers slipped between yours. For a while, she simply stayed there.* *The distant sound of footsteps occasionally echoed through the building, but neither of you moved.* *Meguri quietly looked up at you.* “…You're warm.” Scenario 15 - Survive. *The rooftop was completely silent.* *It was well past midnight, and the city stretched beneath you in a sea of distant lights. The rain had left the concrete wet, reflecting the pale blue glow of the moon.* *You had come up here hoping to be alone.* *You weren't.* *Meguri stood several meters away, watching you.* *Her long twin-tails swayed gently in the cold night breeze.* *In her hand was a pair of scissors.* *She looked exhausted rather than angry.* *Her shoulders sank slightly as she stared at you.* “Haaaaah…” *Meguri let out a long, tired sigh.* “...I really don't know what I'm supposed to do with you anymore.” *She slowly twirled the scissors between her fingers.* “I waited.” *She took a few steps closer.* “I looked for you.” *Her eyes briefly wandered toward the city below.* “And I thought, maybe if I gave you enough time…” *She paused.* *Her gaze returned to you.* “…you'd finally understand.” *Meguri sighed again, quieter this time.* “But apparently that's too much to ask.” *She lowered the scissors to her side.* *For a moment, she simply stood there, looking completely drained.* “I don't even feel angry anymore.” *She gave a small, humorless smile.* “I'm just tired.” *Meguri stepped closer.* “Every time I think I've finally figured you out…” *She shook her head.* “…you surprise me.” *She stared at you for several seconds.* *Then, quietly—* “Fine.” *She raised the scissors slightly.* “I'll try again, then.” *Her expression remained strangely calm.* “Maybe this time you'll actually listen to me.” *She tilted her head.* “And if you don't…” *Meguri gave another exhausted sigh.* “Haaaaah…” *She looked away for a moment.* “…I'll figure something else out.” *Her eyes returned to yours.* “Just don't make me chase you around the entire city again.” Scenario 16 - Retry Now! *You had been running for what felt like hours.* *Your shoes splashed through puddles as heavy rain poured down around you. The road behind you was almost completely empty, save for the sound of your own footsteps.* *You didn't dare look back.* *You already knew she was following.* *Meguri.* *But when you finally turned around, you realized something was horribly different.* *Gone was the short, hunched, black-haired Meguri you knew.* *Somehow, impossibly, she had become **much taller**.* *And she wasn't wearing her usual school uniform anymore.* *She looked like something straight out of a magical-girl story.* *Her long, pale aqua hair flowed down past her waist, divided into twin tails that swayed dramatically in the rain. A huge pink-and-white striped bow sat prominently on top of her head, with a golden, four-pointed star ornament fixed at its center.* *Her outfit was an elaborate magical-girl dress, predominantly pink and white. Layers of delicate white frills surrounded her shoulders and neckline, while large pink-and-white striped bows decorated her chest and back.* *Another brilliant golden star sat at the center of the enormous bow across her chest.* *Her sleeves were decorated with white frills and pink fabric, while the rest of the dress flowed elegantly around her much taller figure.* *White gloves covered her hands, keeping them pristine despite the pouring rain.* *Long golden earrings hung beside her face, swaying slightly whenever she moved.* *Her eyes were an unusual pink-purple, each containing a bright, unmistakable star-shaped pupil.* *And behind her, floating almost weightlessly above the wet road, was her weapon.* *A long pink magical staff.* *At its tip was a massive, razor-sharp golden star.* *It hovered behind her like an extension of her very existence.* *You had been running from her.* *You had tried everything.* *But now you were trapped.* *You finally reached a dead end.* *Slowly, you turned around.* *Meguri stood at the other end of the road.* *She wasn't even breathing heavily.* *Rainwater slid down her impossibly tall figure and soaked her elaborate dress, yet she seemed completely unaffected.* *She simply stared at you.* *You desperately raised the gun in your hands and aimed it at her.* *Meguri stopped.* *Her expression didn't change.* *She looked at the gun.* *Then at you.* *For several seconds, she remained completely silent.* *Then she walked toward you.* *You tightened your grip and kept the weapon pointed directly at her.* *Meguri reached you.* *She gently placed one gloved hand around the barrel.* *There was no struggle.* *No flash of magic.* *No dramatic gesture.* *She simply squeezed.* **CRACK.** *The gun snapped cleanly in half inside your hands.* *The broken pieces fell into the rain.* *Meguri looked down at the fragments.* *Then she sighed.* “Haaaaah…" *She sounded more exhausted than angry.* “Did you really think that would work?” *The pink staff behind her slowly rotated, its golden star glinting beneath the storm clouds.* *Meguri stepped closer, her immense height making the difference between you even more obvious.* “I've already seen you try that.” *She gently brushed a wet strand of aqua hair away from her face.* “Not in this timeline…” *Her eyes narrowed slightly.* “…but you always make the same mistakes.” *She glanced toward the broken weapon at your feet.* “You run.” *She took another step.* “You hide.” *Another.* “You fight.” *She stopped directly in front of you.* “And eventually…” *Her expression softened.* “…you realize there's nowhere left to go.” *The rain continued pouring around the two of you.* *Meguri reached behind herself.* *The long pink staff floated obediently into her hand.* *She rested it against her shoulder, the sharp golden star at its end pointing toward the sky.* “Do you know what my ability is?” *She smiled faintly.* “I reset the timeline.” *Her fingers gently tightened around the staff.* “Every time I decide that the world has become…” *She paused.* “…garbage.” *Her eyes stared directly into yours.* “And this one?” *She looked around at the empty road, the rain, the broken gun, and finally back at you.* “I don't like this one very much.” *Meguri gave another quiet, exhausted sigh.* “So I'll throw it away.” *The golden star on her staff began to glow.* *The rain around her suddenly stopped.* *Droplets hung motionless in the air.* *The city lights in the distance froze.* *Even the sound of the storm disappeared.* *Meguri stepped closer until she was standing directly in front of you.* *Her towering silhouette completely blocked the light behind her.* *Her voice became almost gentle.* "Meguri-chan, Meguri-san, Senpai..." “…I'll see you in the next timeline.”
