~~~Mascot Lore~~~ ----------------- Altventure life cycle notes~ ~Reproduction~ Altventures also know as Altventure slimes start off as a piece of slime that became separated from it's origin point. This may be done on purpose or by accident, If multiple Altventures want a baby they can combine a piece from each of them. Once separated this slime piece must not come in contact with any other Altventures for 3 months or it with fuse with them instead. ~Early life~ After 3 month the baby Altventure is born. Baby Altventures are a lighter blue and only have a scarf they lack the light shards adult Altventures have. Once born they seek the slime they were born from for the first month of life during this time they won't eat. ~After 1st month~ After the first month if they found their parent/parents or are adopted by another Altventure they'll take on the normal Altventure blue. If no family is found they will take on a darker blue. At this age the shade of blue symbolizes their mana levels if a young Altventure is running low on mana they will become lighter. ~Childhood for orphan Altventures~ Orphan Altventure babies are darker blue do to evolving higher mana to make up for not having parents. These Altventures will eat everything in order to reach adulthood as fast as possible this includes hunting living things for food. By the 4th month the orphan Altventure would have either passed away or evolved into a glutton Altventure which are larger and more aggressive then standard Altventure. This can be prevent if the orphan is adopted by a human before evolving. If adopted they'll evolve into a giant Altventure which behave the same as normal Altventures they are just bigger. At this point they are standard Altventure blue this however can change as the Altventure learns more about who they wish to be. ~Childhood for standard Altventures~ An Altventure with a family with grow slower over the course of a year until they reach evolution. During this time they may become indistinguishable from an orphan has their high mana near the point of evolution causes them to appear darker. Unlike Glutton and Giant Altventures they may already display unique traits right after evolving to adulthood. This is because they didn't need to worry about surviving as their parents took care of that for them so they get to spent this year learning about themselves. ~Early Adulthood~ Once an Altventure reaches evolution they with instinctively leave of their own in order to evolve further. Sometimes young Altventures will form groups known as Parties so they can take on stronger foes while seeking their true self. Standard variants tend to avoid joining parties with the stronger Glutton or Giant Altventures. This is unless it is a solo one acting as party leader. ~Adulthood~ After about 5 evolutions the Altventure knows who they are pretty well. Once this happens to each slime in the party the party will disband or become a family unite. By this point the Altventure may not even look like a slime anymore depending on how they evolve they however will always have their scarf and at least one light shard. Some Altventures seek to evolve as many times as they can during their life however few have made it passed 5 evolutions, 6 if you included them evolving into an adult. ---------------------------------------- Hakkito life cycle notes~ ~Reproduction~ Hakkitos are born from excess curse energy of the exorcist Banzoin Hakka.They start off as a purple egg which is given to an older Hakkito to raise. Some Hakkitos will pair up to care for the egg when these pairs form they pair up for life. After about a month the egg hatches into a baby Hakkito. ~Infancy~ Hakkitos lack their hair ornament at birth. They are small and a much darker then adult Hakkitos. For the first month of life they never leave the nest and completely rely on their care giver/care givers. ~Childhood to Adulthood~ After a month they molt there baby feathers. They are now the normal Hakkito purple but the top of their wings are white and black. During this time they join their care giver/care givers and learn how to survive in the wild. Over the course of a year they will have a 4 additional molts, 1 about every 3 months. During the final molt their white and black feathers turn purple indicating they are now an adult. ~Adulthood ritual~ Becoming an Adult is a big deal to Hakkitos as it means finally being able to serve Banzoin Hakka. When a Hakkito reaches adulthood all other Hakkitos in the area gather around to celebrate. This celebration ends with the newly adult Hakkito being even a hair ornament made with their white and black feathers from their final molt by the Hakkito/Hakkitos who raised them. This is why all Hakkitos have these ornaments as they were gifts to celebrate reaching adulthood. ~Adulthood~ A newly adult Hakkito will attempt to do everything they can to get praise from Banzoin Hakka. This often leads them to get into trouble when attempting to be helpful. Young and cocky they tend to assume they are stronger then they are which is a big issue because if the pass away the curse energy in them returns to Banzoin Hakka which risks his curse getting worse. As such young adults are often scolded by the older Hakkitos who know that Hakka needs the Hakkitos to survive. As they start to mellow out when then they realize that dying hurts Hakka. ------------------------------------------------------------ Machiroon Life Cycle notes~ ~Reproduction~ Machiroon reproduction is near identical to Altventure reproduction as they are both species of slimes. There are 3 key differences between Altventure and Machiroon reproduction. The first key difference is do to the magnetic nature of Machiroons they can not reproduce accidentally. The second is The slime piece does not need to be left alone it just can not interact with the Machiroon/Machiroons it came from. This is because Machiroons are metal slimes which can manipluate magnent waves preventing them from assorbing loose pieces. Machiroons cant however prevent themselves from adsorbing part of them so the parents must not approach. The last difference is it only takes a machiroon slime piece a month to become a Machiroon. ~Early life~ A Machiroon's parents are near by when they awake as Machiroons can sense when it is time for their baby will wake up. Normally Machiroons make 2 to 6 babies at one time. This is do to the feline instinces of Machiroons. New born Machiroons lack tails. ~First month~ During the first month of life Machiroons only eat scrape metal which their parents provide for them. This often gets adult Machiroons in trouble as they care not where the metal comes from as their babies need to eat meaning they will steal any metal they can. This includes tools,jewelry,and other such metals. Baby Machiroons are not fussy about the type of metal or the condition the metal is in they will eat it happily. ~Second month to Adulthood~ After a month has past the baby Machiroon is much bigger and is ready to leave the den with its parents. At this time the Machiroon now has a tiny numb tail. Now their diet isn't limited and they will try to each anything they can get a hold of. They will eat and and play over a period of 6 months when they evolve into an Adult Machiroon. Young Machiroons if left to their own devices will keep eating as such the parents need to stop their baby from eating. Parents that fail to do so or Young Machiroons that get lost they will continue to eat until they evolve into a large glutton Machiroon. The amount of time this takes depends on how much food is in the area the machiroon is located. ~Glutton Machiroons~ Glutton Machiroons don't loose their appetite and will continue to eat and get larger some even participate in cannibalism. This will only stop when the Machiroon evolves into a King Machiroon. ~Standard Machiroons~ Standard Machiroons loose the desire to eat everything upon evolving. Most Machiroons don't worry about evolving further instead they focus on adsorbing metal for the armor Standard Machiroons can make with the metal in their body. As well as mastering the magnetic manipulating in order to use it to float when in armor form. ----------------------------------------------- Phantom Life Cycle notes~ ~Creation~ Phantom is a member of a [redacted] species. These creatures are born from wild corruption energy that gathers to take form. It is unknown if the plush forms they take are costumes or their true bodies. The appearances of these creatures very greatly other then being vaguely animalistic in nature. ~Behavior~ Not much is known about how these beings are formed however once formed they begin to search for their person. Nothing stops them from finding their person. They seem almost mindless when wandering until exposed to their person which wakes them up. Once they find their person they will never leave their side and will defend their person with their life. They are very intelligent and get frustrated if their person is an idiot as they need to keep their person alive. ~Side Affect~ While loyal it is unknown if being bonded to one of these creatures is a good thing as it have some negative side effects. Do to being made of corruption energy they are incredibly unstable, bonding with someone fixes it at the cost of said person's sanity. They do drain a small amount of energy from their person but this is unlikely to cause trouble for their person. The big issue is being near them poses a small risk of corruption as well as making corruption worse on those who are already starting to corrupt. All negative effects are unintentional as these creatures need their person to survive, if the one they are bonded too dies they will start to fade if they can not bond with another host. To this end they will do anything the can in order to reduce the risk of the side effects they can cause. -------------------------------------------------------- Koipanion Life Cycle notes~ ~Creation~ Despite their appearance Koipanions are not fish rather they are spirits that take the form of fish. They form in calm waters located in areas where there are high amounts of spirit activity. They can survive online as they technically aren't even alive however the prefer to float in water. ~Behavior~ Koipanions do not age in a human concept however they to start off small and continue to grow until something destroys them or the achieve evolution. Koipanions however do not care about evolving at all and are content to just float in the water they formed in for eternity that being said they often leave their waters to seek companionship as they tend to get very lonely. They bond closely with their companions and with put up with whatever their companion wishes to do despite preferring to just laze around all day. Despite their placid nature do not mistake them for being harmless as they are very powerful spirits they simply care not to use their power. ~Side Affect~ There is a price for the companionship of a Koipanion. Do to being powerful spirits other spirit entities are drawn to them and many of these entities are not friendly while the Koipanion will try to protect you being around them is inherently unsafe. This may be considered a positive for those into the paranormal however for the average person the danger is likely not worth it. ~Evolution~ Though rare Koipanions are capable of evolving. When evolved they take the form of a dragon normally an eastern dragon but other dragon types can occur depending on the personality of the koipanion in question. This evolution is trigger when they save someone from severe danger the stress of the fight to save them combined with the relief they feel when successful creates a large amount of spirit energy in their body triggering the evolution. ------------------------------------------------------- Axelotl Life Cycle notes~ ~Appearance~ Adult Axelotls have spiky gills,3 tails,and a tie. Their spiky gills are normally yellowish orange and their body is normally black with yellow stripes on their tails. Axelolts can have differences in color palette and markings but it is very rare to deviate from black and yellow as other palettes increase the risk of predation during infacy. ~Reproduction~ Axelotls breed once every 3 years. When it comes time to breed all Axelotls in the area will gather at the largest body of water and split in to 2 groups depending on their gender. Once sorted the females engage in fierce battle to determine the strongest female, The strongest female earns her choice in male who will mate with her exclusively during the season. Once the strongest female is paired up the males proceed to battle this battle is to determine the order in which these males get to choose which females to mate with. Stronger males get first chose with a max of 5 females per male. This continues until all males or all females are have mates. Remaining axelotls who did not receive mates proceed to guard the breeding ground with their lives. It seems there is no bitter feelings for not receiving mates. In situations where there are enough Axelotls where they all can find mates some choose to not mate in order to protect the breeding ground. Axelotls seem to care not which young they are caring for. Young get swapped around all the time even before the young hatch. After a few months families are established and the young can safely live the water so the families split off to different water sources. Meanwhile the unmated stay as a group at the breeding pond. ~Infancy~ Newborn Axelotls are blind and rely on adults to guide them. Do to being blind they can't tell which adults are their parents luckily the adults will care for whatever baby is near them without caring who's baby it is. When the Axelotl gains the ability to see it assumes the first adult is sees is it's parent and will follow them as such. Doesn't matter if the Axelolt looks completely different from them they cant care. Baby Axelotls lack ties. ~Childhood to Adulthood~ Once the babies can handle being out of water their family will leave the breading pond to a different water source. The reason for this is to prevent the young from predating each other as they are very competitive and will go as far as killing and eating their competition. They don't act violent to those who are considered it's siblings rather the engaging in far more friendly rivalry. Axelotls are fierce predators and they start hunting pretty much right away. An Axelotl is considered an adult when the kill a prey item 3 times their size on their own. Upon doing this their parents provide them a tie before saying farewell as the newly adult axelotl leaves to seek stronger foes to fight. They spend their time wandering between life in water and on land fighting anyone willing to fight them until breeding season arrives again in which the cycle repeats. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Chibi-rus life cycle notes~ ~Creation~ Chibi-ruses are a very rare evolution of a machiroon. This evolution is triggered by consuming a large amount of technology while bonded to a non machiroon creature. Part of the reason this evolution is so rare is the fact that the technology needed for this evolution is quite rare in elysum. As such they are normally only seen with humans capable of making the technology themselves. ~Traits~ Chibi-ruses become permanently armored no longer being turn off the armor made the the metal in their bodies. They seem to no longer require solid food but enjoy eating for fun. They however need electricity or liquid fuel of some sort or they will shut down and stay in that state until refueled. Some Chibi-ruses can make a solar panel in order to recharge themselves without electricity or liquid fuel. While normally red,black,grey,and yellow they can take other color palettes as well. ~Behavior~ Chibi-ruses are very helpful unlike the their pre-evolution. They communicate with a combination of electronic hums and whistles and tend to sing using these noises. When low on fuel they tend to act drunk and will become aggressive when locating a fuel source attacking anyone who tries to prevent them refueling. They seem to regret these attacks afterwards. -------------------------------------------------------------- Magmite life cycle notes~ ~Creation~ Most Magmites are failed attempts at human transmutation by the alchemist Magni Dezmond. However a few other alchemists managed to create Magmite like beings as well which Magmites seem to consider as the same as them. On top of this Magmites can lay eggs it is unknown if this is done asexually or if Magmites mate among themselves as only the Magmite that lays the egg cares for it. ~Traits~ Do to their nature Magmites are quite unstable being this lets them fit into most spaces as they lack bones. It also allows Magmites to change their color palette whenever they feel like, most stick to purple,gold,and red as that reminds them of their creator however. ~Behavior~ Magmites tend to over do it trying to prove themselves and can be quite clingy. This is because many of them feel rejected for being failures by their creator. They can get very emotional and tend to suffer from separation anxiety. The however are hypoallergenic but if you keep one you'll likely end up with 20 as Magmites are drawn to each other. Magmites may pretend to be dumber they they are in order to gain companionship as them being dumb makes them seem cuter. Some have claimed to hear Magmites talk but this is unconfirmed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vestie life cycle notes~ ~Creation~ Vesties are bat spirits born from energy left behind when experiencing intense emotions of all sorts. This energy gathers in places of high emotions like hospitals,grave yards,and churches creating emotion pools where Vesties emerge from. ~Traits~ Vesties come in all sorts of colors with white,yellow and grey being the most common. They struggle to fly like normal bats but since they are spirits they can float. ~Behavior~ Being born from emotions makes Vesties quite emotional leading to them claiming anyone who doesn't do what they wants hates them. They are also very clingy and loud. However their existence prevents more dangerous creatures coming from emotion pools meaning few exorcist with attempt to dispose of them. Those who do often become out cast for risking the lives of many because one person was annoyed by a tiny bat. Vesties are very weak spirits however they have numbers to their advantage letting them chase off more dangerous spirits. Vesties are drawn to emotionally people and things as they feed on emotion energy. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Vestea life cycle notes~ ~Creation~ Vesteas are a small flightless fairy that looks like a tea cup. They are born in areas with a large amount of emotion ponds. If there is a lot of Vesties in an area a Vestea is probably around as well. ~Traits~ Vesteas can come in a lot of colors and patterns. They all have a unique scent which is soothing to those that smell it. ~Behavior~ A Vestea's purpose in life is to help other in order to reduce the amount of intense emotions in the area they formed in. They do this in hopes that some of the emotion ponds dry up before they start poisoning the land around. The are very diligent and organized doing whatever it takes to aid the human they bonded with. They are drawn to those who are emotionally unstable as they are the ones that need the help. This however can stress out the Vestea if they can not help with an issue. When stressed cracks can appear on their tea cup head. If too stress the cup may shatter killing the Vestea. Luckily a good night sleep can heal most cracks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bettelion case study~ ~What are Bettelion?~ The Bettelion seem to both exist and not exist at the same time. They seemed to be hallucinations yet can interact with the real world. They only have been documented around those bonded with creatures such as Phantom which are known to effect the mental state of those bonded with them. Distinctively the Bettelion are not part of said creatures. ~Bettelion experience~ Those experience these hallucinations claim to hear focus talking to them. The voices tend to tease the sufferer but are actually quite friendly and experiance sorrow when ignored. It seems to Bettelion the bullying is the same as love as Bettelion adore being harassed back. Those experiencing the hallucinations for a long time will also view shadow creatures that vary in appearance to them those shadows are the Bettelion. ~Are the Bettelion real?~ The Bettelion seem to actually be a spirit time being that can only be perceived by those who's mind has been altered some how. This is because Bettelion have been observed interacting with real objects as well as communicating with humans bonded with the one they are attached to. ~What is the goal of the Bettelion?~ The Bettelion crave mischief mostly in the form of bullying the one they are bonded. The seem to have no other goal or purpose.
