This product will be the second in the series following “The
Great Modern Strategy 2001-The Road to Overseas Soldiers”
released in 2001.
Even if you say “big strategy” in a bite, there
are currently many variations, each developed with its own concept.
The latest version of “Numbers” large strategy, which is
the direct line from the first major strategy, is “Big Strategy
VII”, but it has been making innovative progress every time,
and it can be said to be a signboard of the large strategy series.
Among them, the “Contemporary Great Strategy”
series is based on the concept of simulating the “real”
world in a more “real” manner and making it a simulation
game centered on “scenarios”. In other words, the
greatest cucumber as a product is that the balance can be adjusted so
that it develops close to the intention of the scenario creator.
From that point of view, the 2001 version has been designed
so that “production” is not possible, and the game system
is designed to fight to the end using only the initial strength. This
is because modern wars must be short-term decisive battles, and if
that is the case, it is difficult to think of producing weapons after
the war has begun.
However, we received many complaints from customers about
the lack of “production”. After all, the balance between
simulation and game is difficult. Therefore, for this product,
“Production” can be selected arbitrarily. The balance
adjustment is adjusted to “no production”, but even if
you play “with production”, it is adjusted so that you
can play as it is.
And the biggest cucumber of the “Modern Strategy”
series is the scenario. In order to increase the thickness of the
scenario, this product has been enhanced with explanations. As you
can see from the manual, more than half of the explanation is
accounted for. This commentary provides easy-to-understand
explanations from past history to the current situation. We are proud
that the content can be a little history textbook.
Another feature is the rich variety of weapons. Its number
600. Boasts the largest number of large strategic series. Moreover,
because there are many weapons in the developing countries, there are
many weapons with little material, and to be honest, it was very
difficult to produce graphics. Some weapons had to be drawn by
speculation.
These features make it a realistic and dynamic simulation
game that cannot be tasted by other major strategies. In other large
strategies, the victory condition is basically to occupy the enemy's
capital or annihilate the enemy, but in the case of the modern
strategy, the defense of specific cities and nuclear power plants,
Rescuing is a victory condition.
Last but not least, the Hyundai Grand Strategy Series will
continue. We will further enhance the scenario, improve it to a more
realistic game system, and increase the number of weapons. If you
