Game overview and objectives

"Big Strategy Game" is a war simulation game based on the theme of modern warfare, where forces from up to four countries fight in a battlefield composed of various terrain. The game will feature about 400 modern weapons from the 1960s.
Players will be in charge of one specific faction out of the four factions colored by Blue, Red, Green, and Yellow (the number of factions differs from 2 to 4 depending on the scenario map). Then, they will produce their own units on the battlefield called maps, and will compete with enemy camps for hegemony while instructing each unit to move, attack, occupy, replenish, and transport.
Finally, when you have occupied all the capitals of the enemy side on the battlefield map, you have cleared the map. Conversely, if your own capital is occupied by enemy forces, you will lose. There are 60 types of maps in all.

Game progress

Turn and phase

The game progress is similar to Shogi. For example, if there are two camps, each side will take action alternately with the front and back. In the case of a battle of 4 camps, the Blue camp, the Red camp, the Green camp, and the Yellow camp will act in order, and this will be repeated until a victory or defeat is decided.
The action times of one faction are called “PHASE”, and the time until all factions finish one phase at a time is called “TURN”. Each faction phase consists of two phases of supply and action. The number of turns is limited to a maximum of 99 turns.

Game flow-Actual game development from [New Game]

1. The battlefield map is not yet displayed in the initial game screen. First, execute the [File]> [New Game] menu to display the [Open] dialog and select the map data you want to play.
* At the bottom of the dialog, it is represented by the “map name” of the selected map data, the reduced map, the “turn limit” number (maximum 99) until the victory condition is satisfied, the “message” touching the map contents, and the class. “Difficulty” and “Number of buildings” for each faction are displayed. At this time, the contents displayed in the reduced map can be switched with the [Image] and [Building] buttons in the “Switch Display” field.
    2. Next, in the [Condition Settings] dialog, set the game play conditions for each faction. The details are as follows. It is recommended that you keep these settings unchanged unless you are playing against an email.
¡ [Condition setting] dialog
œ Participation: Select [NOT] if you do not want the faction to participate in the play, select [USER] if the human player is responsible, and select [COMP] if the computer is responsible. On a map set for 3 factions, you can choose not to participate in only 1 faction. Also, on a map that is set up for 4 factions, you can choose not to participate in 1 or 2 factions. In this case, the building originally owned by that faction will be changed to a neutral building and the map will start.
When setting up an email match, set 2 or more factions to [USER]. It is recommended to play with the default settings except when playing against email.
œ Factions: Each faction can have any name.
œ Production: You can change the production type of the weapon that the faction will produce. There are 8 types of production: Japan, USA, Russia, Germany, UK, France, Israel and China.
œ Fund: At the start of the game, the faction will be possessed
The military budget can be changed in the range of “0” to “999999”. Funds are provided at the beginning of each turn during the supply phase, and a certain amount comes from the cities and factories of the camp, but they are consumed during the production, replenishment, repair, and ammunition supply. Funds that could not be used in each turn will be carried over to the next turn.
œ Fuel: At the start of the game, you can change the stockpile fuel that the faction will have in the range of “0” to “999999”. A certain amount of fuel comes from the self-owned capital or refinery during the replenishment phase at the beginning of each turn, but is consumed when troops move or refuel. Fuel that cannot be used in each turn is carried over to the next turn.
œ Alliance: If you check the other faction color in the “Alliance” column, it means that both sides are in an alliance relationship. The alliance is a relationship that does not attack each other. Players cannot directly control the units of the alliance camp. The alliance has the following effects and influences.
š You cannot attack allied faction units or occupy allied faction buildings.
š You can see the search range of the allied faction.
š Alliances cannot be destroyed during the game.
š A faction that meets victory conditions and its alliance faction will be joint winners.
    3. Click the [OK] button to start the game.
    4. The supply phase of turn 1 will be visited. During this phase, replenishment, repair, and replenishment are performed for units that can be replenished, repaired, and replenished.
    5. At the end of the Supply Phase, the Action Phase will come. Since there are no units on the battlefield map at first, [Production] is performed first.
    6. The produced units are already actionable that turn and can take no action. For the time being, when all units have been produced, use the [Command]> [End Turn] button to touch the other side's phase.
    7. When all other factions have finished, the next turn's supply phase will come, followed by the action phase.
œ The player gives each unit instructions such as movement, attack, occupation, boarding, etc., aiming at occupation of the building on the battlefield map or destroying enemy units. You can also produce additional units.
-Each unit is composed of 10 aircraft (one or two large aircraft, warships, etc.). Each unit is equipped with ammunition necessary for combat and fuel necessary for movement, and each aircraft has its durability set.
∙ Fuel and ammunition is consumed during movement and battle, and if damage is caused by battle, the durability of each aircraft will decrease, and in the worst case, the number of units in the unit will be lost.
œ If you occupy an enemy camp or a neutral building, you will have more replenishment, repair, and replenishment bases, and you will be able to earn money and supply fuel. Occupied buildings also expand the search range required to discover nearby enemies.
    8. When you have finished giving orders to the unit during the Action Phase, use the [Command]> [End Turn] button to touch the other side's phase again. From then on, the phase and turn will continue until the winning or losing conclusion is reached.
