Latte Cookie is cooking up dinner for the night, Almond Cookie is on duty, Prune Juice Cookie is experimenting new potions, and Cream Puff Cookie is practicing for her recital on her piano. ~ ~ A few minutes later, Latte Cookie comes up to Cream Puff's room, she quietly opens the door and hears her playing. She hold her breath and not said a word, just to listen to her play before she could tell her that dinner is ready. ~ ~ Cream Puff finishes playing, and Latte applauds her amazing self-performance ~ Latte: Bravo my dear! Cream Puff: Oh!~ Hey Latte, I didn't notice it was you! Latte: Hehe, yep, it's me! Hey, dinner is ready if you wanna go down and eat! Cream Puff: Hmm, alright, i'm coming. ~ Cream Puff and Latte went downstairs for dinner. ~ Cream Puff: Oh BOY! Baked potatoes with extra sour cream! My FAVORITE!! Hehehe! Latte: Ha ha, I know it is my darling! Enjoy, you need the energy! ~ Then, they finish eating their dinner, and Cream Puff went back up to practice and Latte went to go watch Hannna Montana on the TV. ~ ~ While Cream Puff is practicing, her phone started to vibrate. She looked on her phone and she noticed Cream Bun Cookie (institute student, btw) (he/him) was calling her. She picked up the phone and answered. ~ Cream Puff: Hey! Cream Bun: Hi Cream Puff! Do you have time to talk? Cream Puff: Sure, I'm willing to chat! What's on your mind? Cream Bun: Well... I was wondering... Do you know how much it costs to go to the recital? Cream Puff: Ah, well, it's only $5! Are you coming to watch me perform tomorrow? Cream Bun: I sure will, I would do anything for my bestie! Are you excited to perform? Cream Puff: Well... If I gotta be brutally honest... I am excited to play, but also nervous. I never performed on stage before... Cream Bun: ...You haven't? Cream Puff: No... I've seen others do it, but I don't know what it would feel like for me... Not to mention a whole entire crowd will be watching me. Cream Bun: Hey... can I tell you something? Then she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth, then went downstairs for breakfast. ~ Latte: Good morning Cream Puff! Cream Puff: Ah, morning Latte. Latte: How are you feeling? Cream Puff: Well, i'm feeling a bit nervous... Latte: Hm? Why so nervous, what's the issue? Cream Puff: Oh nothing much really... it's just that tonight is my piano recital, and... well... I never experienced being on stage before... I do wanna feel the experience, but at the same time... it feels kinda scary to play a song in front of a very huge crowd... you know...? Latte: Ahhh, I almost forgot your recital was tonight, my apologies! But yeah, I do see why being on stage can be scary sometimes. ...Hey, can I tell you a secret? Cream Puff: Sure... what is it? Latte: Well... I used to be apart of the Parfaedia Orchestra when I was around your age... and I played the cello. When I went on stage for my recitals, I never shed a single sweat. I just felt confident the whole time. And you know what? I took the audience watching me as a HUGE compliment, and felt very proud during the beginning, middle, AND end of my performances! What i'm trying to say is, if the audience is expecting you to perform, do not worry about a single thing. Just play your song beautifully and perfectly and it will be all over! Cream Puff: Ahhh... I see... well... um... wha... what if I make a mistake while i'm playing...? will they make fun of me for it? Latte: Oh, heck no! They would NEVER! If you ever mistake, ignore it and continue playing! Do NOT stop! Continue the whole way through all the way to the end! Cream Puff: ah... um... well... Alright, i... I can try... Boysenberry Cupcake: Well, they're exactly right! ~ The bell rings, signaling that the first class begins in 5 minutes. Then, Cream Puff tried to get through the rest of the school day. When Cream Puff got home, she took a shower and put on her dress that she will wear to the recital. Then she puts on extended eyelashes, brushed her hair, put on extra sugary powder on her head, and whipped cream earrings. She's also wearing a midnight blue wedding dress with sparkling pearls on it, representing the stars in the night sky. ~ Latte: Wow, you look very pretty, gotta LOVE the outfit! Cream Puff: Yeah, I'm glad you bought those for me... I look like a shining star in the night sky! Latte: My thoughts exactly! ~ Almond Cookie arrives in the shot. ~ Almond: Hey everyone, just got back from work. I'm not late, am I? Latte: Nope! Right on time! Almond: Ah, perfect! I know you'll do amazing at the recital! ~ A little later, Cream Puff went to practice a few more times before she got ready to leave to go to the recital. Then, the shot cuts to Prune Juice's room. ~ Prune Juice: Ah yes... Another potion complete! The berry-fry potion! One sip of this and- Latte: Hey Prune Juice? Prune Juice: ACK! *the potion spills on the floor and it got on the table. the table turns into a raspberry * Latte: ...oops. Prune Juice: What the heck Latte?! You ruined my experiment! Latte: I- I am so sorry... H- hey... Can you watch the place while I'm gone? I need to take Cream Puff to her piano recital today, so can I trust you to guard the place all by yourself while I'm gone? Prune Juice: Sure, whatever... Then, Latte and Almond went to go get their seats in the audience, and Cream Puff went backstage, still feeling slightly nervous. ~ Dark Frappuccino Cookie (she/her) (Cream Puff's Piano Teacher): Ah, welcome Cream Puff! How are you feeling? Cream Puff: Hey Ms. Frappuccino... Well... I'm feeling pretty excited... but... I'm also feeling nervous... Dark Frappuccino: Ah, it's okay to feel nervous! I still think you will do amazing during your performance! Cream Puff: You really think so? It's just... I never performed on stage before... I never got to know what it's like to perform in front of a huge crowd... I- I don't know if I could do it... Dark Frappuccino: Now don't doubt yourself just yet! Rosebud: Thank you, Cream Puff... ~ Cream Puff gave Rosebud a firm handshake before Rosebud headed on stage. Then, Cream Puff watched Rosebud perform the song. ~ Cream Puff (thoughts): Wow... Rosebud is really sweet and caring... I never thought I would make such friend like this after a long time... ~ Cream Puff watches Rosebud play from backstage happily, slowly starting to gain extra confidence whenever she starts performing. Once Rosebud finished performing, it was now time for Cream Puff to perform. ~ Dark Frappuccino: Next up, Cream Puff Cookie, performing Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2! Cream Puff (thoughts): Well, here I go... ~ The audience applauds loudly. Then Cream Puff slowly walks up to the grand piano in the stage, her dress illuminating from the spotlights. She looks at the audience, then, she surprisingly smiles, her nervousness slowly fading away. Then, she slowly sits at the piano bench, adjusting her dress, and about to be ready to play. ~ Cream Puff (thoughts): Woah... I never thought I would be able to put my hands on a grand piano... It's... so much different than my digital piano at home... It's so elegant and pretty... Well, here I go... It's time for me to play... ~ Cream Puff slowly places her fingers on the keys, her foot on the damper pedal, and got ready to play. Then, she started playing. ~ Cream Puff (thoughts): Wow... I love the feeling of the keys... It feels... much better than my piano... ~ As she continues to play, she felt much more confident and not as much nervous anymore, as well as thinking about the experience of her playing a grand piano. She also surprisingly hasn't made any mistakes while playing. Then, she finished playing and the audience clapped and cheered for Cream Puff. Cream Puff took a sweet bow and walked away from the stage happily. ~ Latte: Yay Cream Puff!! I knew she could do it! Bravoooo!! Almond: It was so good... I almost shed a tear... Latte: Psst, boys don't cry. Almond: O- Oh, uhh.. I wasn't crying or anything, I swear! Latte: Hmph... ~ Cream Puff returns backstage. ~ Rosebud: Hi Cream Puff! You played beautifully! You're really talented at the piano! Cream Puff: Aww, hehe... T- thank you... Y- you're really good at the piano too... Rosebud: Thank you too! After all, I have been playing piano for 6 years... Cream Puff: Coming Latte! ~ Cream Puff turned off the piano, closed the lid and headed downstairs for dinner. ~ Cream Puff: Mmh, beef stroganoff, smells delicious! Latte: Sure does, I spent quite some time on this dish! ~ Cream Puff enjoys the beef stroganoff, happy about the food she is eating. After dinner, she went back up to her room, sat on her bed and watched some magic videos on her phone before she got ready for bed. ~ ~ The next day, it was the day that Cream Puff was going to hang out with Rosebud Cookie! ~ Cream Puff: Ahh! Today is gonna be a great day! ~ Later in the day, Cream Puff went to brush her teeth and took a shower. Then, she went downstairs for breakfast. ~ Cream Puff: Mmmh, is that scrambled eggs I smell? Then, Rosebud Cookie's mom, Tulip Mousse Cookie, answered the door. ~ Tulip Mousse: Uh, hello little girl. What brings you here? Cream Puff: Hello, i'm looking for Rosebud Cookie, it's me and her playdate today! Tulip Mousse: Ah yes! I almost forgot! My daughter told me about this playdate. You can come in! Rosebud: Ah... well, my mom works full time as a vehicle designer... and she saved alot on her allowance to be able to buy a grand piano for the house... this is a mahogany Kawai GL-10 baby grand! Cream Puff: H- how much did this cost...? Rosebud: Well, my mom told me that it costed around $18,000. Cream Puff: Wow... you must be really... REALLY lucky to own one of these... Rosebud: Yeah, it's my favorite too, it has amazing top notch quality! ~ Rosebud sat down on the piano bench and opened up the fallboard. Then, she began to play a few warmup exercises. Cream Puff enjoys the experience of the piano while Rosebud is playing. ~ Cream Puff: Wow... the sound is almost like the piano I played at the recital hall... Rosebud: Haha, I see what you mean, i get that feeling too now that I think about it! Cream Puff: Um... can I... ask you... a small favor Rosebud...? Rosebud: Oh sure, what is the favor? Cream Puff: Uh... is it okay... If... I... p- play on your piano...? Rosebud: Y- you want to play on my piano...? Really? Cream Puff: Y- yeah... T- thank you... ~ Rosebud leaves the bench and Cream Puff sat down, admiring the feeling of the bench, also tapping her hands on the bench. After that, she turned to the piano and played Fur Elise. ~ ~ Cream Puff fell in love with the experience on Rosebud's grand piano, that she tried her VERY best not to make a mistake while playing, and wanted to 100% the song. She also loved the ivory feeling of the keys as well. ~ Rosebud: That was beautiful bestie!! Do you know any other songs? Cream Puff: Well, I know how to play Gymnopedie No. 1... Swan Lake... Minuet in G Major... Canon in D... and Ode to Joy... Rosebud: Hmmm... can I ask you something Cream Puff? Cream Puff: Yeah? Rosebud: Have you ever... played in a duet before? Cream Puff: Well... No... not really... B- but now that you mention it... um... a- are they fun..? Rosebud: Of course duets are fun! It's when 2 piano players play on the same piano together! One person plays the left hand and the other plays the right hand! It's basically a song covered by using 4 hands! It's AMAZING!! Cream Puff: Y'know... this doesn't sound too bad... C- can we try it? Rosebud: Why wouldn't i?! I would love to duet! I haven't done a duet in a while anyways, let's do it! ~ Rosebud hops in on the bench, so now Cream Puff and Rosebud are sitting on the bench together. ~ Rosebud: So, do you know how to play the hall of the mountain king? Cream Puff: I do actually... Rosebud: Alright! Do you wanna play the left side and I play the right? Cream Puff: Sure, we can try that... afterall, I memorize the bass clef in songs more than the treble... Rosebud: Well then, you ready? Cream Puff: Ready... ~ They both have their hands on the keys, getting ready to do this duet. Then, they both began to play the song with built up confidence, and Cream Puff is feeling very good while playing. Eventually they reached the end. ~ Tulip Mousse: Bravo! Rosebud: Oh! Hehe, hi mom! Tulip Mousse: That was an amazing duo! Cream Puff: Thank you Miss... I never participated in playing a duo before... and now I felt really good doing one...! I- i should do these more often... Rosebud: You should, duets are really fun! ~ Later, Cream Puff watched Rosebud practice piano for 2 more hours, then Latte came over to pick up Cream Puff ~ Cream Puff: Um... Hey Rosebud...? Rosebud: Yeah? Cream Puff: I-.. I have to go now... My guardian is here to pick me up... Rosebud: Oh... Aww... Will you come back some day?
