Chieri-
>A kind yet spacy girl whose eyes are usually obscured by her bangs. 
>Often seen doing strange/creepy things for seemingly no purpose. 
>Has 3 younger siblings, all of whom have similar haircuts.
>Likes drawing, wants to write her own (horribly violent looking) manga.
>The manga in question appears to have a main character that looks and acts suspiciously like Hitomi.
>Wants everyone to get along, and gets sad when they don't.
>Suddenly becomes serious when in combat.

Momiji-
>An excitable tomboy who acts as a big sister to the group, despite being around the same age as everyone else.
>Often seen working out, playing sports, or sleeping.
>Strangely, her boobs only seem to grow despite her constant exercise, much to Hitomi's annoyance.
>Has a habit of changing/stripping down into her exercise gear when there are people around, usually causing her friends to panic.
>In the market for a boyfriend, but most guys find her intimidating.
>Likes watching pro wrestling, as well as reading romance stories, though she'd never admit to it. Especially likes ones with princesses and dashing knights.
>Affinity to earth.
>Fights using a large sword, or whatever heavy object she can get her hands on.

Kyu-
>An aloof loner who hails from a clan of tiger beastkin.
>Tries to hide her beastly features to avoid harassment.
>Proceeds to get immediately exposed and harassed by Momiji.
>Is easily flustered, especially by Momiji, who has nicknamed her 'Kitten' despite her protests.
>Though, in truth, she's doesn't hate it...
>Often seen trying and failing to avoid people.
>Likes dancing, as well as listening to and writing music.
>Affinity to lightning.
>Fights using a naginata.

Hitomi-
>An overly dramatic girl who wears an eyepatch to 'conceal her demonic power.'
>She does in fact have a demonic eye, one that was forced upon her as a child by a dying demon. 
>The demon meant to take her over as a vessel, but decided to help her instead of seeing how truly awful her family was.
>Is self-conscious about her height and lack of figure, but is consistently encouraged by her demon companion as well as her friends.
>Often seen posing dramatically and loudly proclaiming things.
>Is oblivious that the girl in Chieri's manga looks like her.
>Likes watching anime, especially more fantastical ones.
>Affinity to wind.
>Fights using two katanas. Once tried holding a third one in her mouth and bit it in half.

Aoi-
>An optimistic prodigy who became a full-fledged ninja at just age 16. 
>Now leading a group of skilled but unruly trainees her age.
>Always tries to do her best, even when the odds are stacked against her.
>Very socially ignorant, on account of always being focused on improving her skills as a ninja.
>Always eager to help those in need.
>Has so far failed to recognize that she had a crush on a male trainee her age, much to her friends' dismay.
>Often seen training, or just sitting.
>Likes animals, people-watching, and reading.
>Has an older brother named Ai, whom she loves but frequently bickers with.
>Affinity to water.
>Fights using tonfa.

Sumire-
>Aoi's best friend since childhood, and the most levelheaded girl in the group.
>Treats Aoi like a sister, and helps her out with the interpersonal issues in the group.
>Also tries to act as a romance counselor for Aoi, who's too dumb to recognize her own feelings.
>Seen as the epitome of beauty, intelligence, and kindness by her classmates.
>Also known as a heartbreaker, as many male (and several female) students have confessed their feelings to her, only to be told she likes someone else.
>Actually likes Aoi's brother, and has since they were kids.
>Often seen taking glances at him.
>(Aoi thinks all of the nervous glances Sumire gives Ai are a result of her friend being afraid of him due to some sort of unseen bullying.)
>Likes fashion, talking with her friends, and practicing archery.
>Affinity to shadow.
