Arie Towerer, the Ultimate Architect aerilly Summary: Official profile of Arie Towerer, my Ultimate Architect OC. Art acc here: aerilly https://www.pixiv.net/users/112080342 Work Text: Arie Towerer Official Profile Height: 5'5 Blood Type: B+ Birthday: 2/21 Likes: Interesting structures, tangy foods Dislikes: Small spaces Specialty: Ultimate Architect Other Info Likes: Cool weather, environmental psychology, fantasy and sci-fi novels, interesting structures, lemon and lime, mint flavours, small islands, surrealism, useful app programs, tangy foods Dislikes: Small spaces Gender: Female Family: Aeril Towerer (father), Maren Towerer (mother), Terether Vane (aunt), Ernilo Kalinator (uncle), Erelona Kalinator (cousin) Backstory Arie was raised by a mother that worked in real estate and a father that produced art, which allowed her to grow up with a varied perspective that benefited her in the development of her talent. Because her mother had an interest in developing her own unique estate, she and Arie's father pooled in their money to purchase a small island, where they resided from thereon. After living there for some time, they saved up enough money to renovate the house on the island into something more befitting their name, a tower structure. While this became the source of inspiration that led her to pursue architectural design, it also gave her a sense of distance from the extended world. This was encouraged by her parents who themselves were quite distant from it. Personality Arie possesses a composed and relaxed demeanor. She often appears to be observing some random details or have her head in the clouds, but chances are that she is taking inventory of her surroundings or has already done so. Her moods tend to shift between distant politeness, thoughtful contemplation, and earnestness. She enjoys surroundings that are able to capture her interest a lot, whether it is through their design, or their physical or emotional effects, and tends to be dissatisfied by surroundings that don't leave a strong enough impression. She has no distinct personal preference for the style or organization of her physical environment but will latch onto a design as long as it feels mentally stimulating to her, and move on once she feels she has 'figured it out'. She always wants to have new environments to observe or imagine, and disprefers ones that have become routine to her. She tends to become antsy if she has not designed new architecture or changed something up in the existing environment for awhile. She wants to make sure the buildings she designs are also interesting and satisfying to others. When she helps others fulfill their vision for their environment, it provides enjoyment to her, as she is able to emotionally invest herself in their anticipation for it. She has little interest in forming close connections, but likes to feel like she can do something meaningful for others, and tries to avoid letting them down. Her thoughtfulness is not easily apparent, and it may sometimes seem like her only manners shift between lukewarm and cool, but nevertheless she puts a great amount of thought into what she does, as it is important to her that she is able to improve people's lives by changing their environments in a meaningful way. This aspect of her personality reflects her past, as her mother had achieved her ambition through attaining the surroundings she wanted, and she had developed her own talent and ambitions through the same source. She has developed a significant part of her worldview around that event as a result, and highly values the effects brought about by such change. She is interested in how people's surroundings affect their lives, and tends to be very attentive towards the matter, often taking notice of the purpose of things around her and how people interact with them. However, though she often becomes interested by them, she rarely becomes emotionally attached to either objects, locations or people, and will only do so with ones that have made a strong impression on her, such as her island home. She can be very devoted to what she does place personal value upon, as long as it continues to be of conceptual value to her- something that remains a given for her home, as she has based her life path and philosophy upon it. Yet, this means that when she does come to value something or someone, she can often become more attached to her idea of what it or they represent rather than the actuality. Skills As the Ultimate Architect, Arie is able to design both aesthetically pleasing and efficient buildings, and knows how to work with a variety of styles and materials, as well as innovate new styles of building. Notes > She doesn't have any real aesthetic preferences for her surroundings, other than what she finds interesting at the moment. She has her own Ultimate Despair arc. She was one of the ones that willingly stepped into Junko's vision when she had the brainwashing device presented to her. During her time as an Ultimate Despair, she did stylized bombings, a corpse architecture cult, sliced her chest open in front of a crowd as part of the cult brainwashing process, allowed Mikan to cut her open and experiment on her, gouged out her eyes as a sacrifice to Junko, attempted s*icide by jumping off her family home island tower, survived it by falling into the ocean, killed herself by scorching herself into the structure of her final corpse architecture piece before her death, got resurrected as an AI through an android her mother had built before she had killed her past friend/lover and parents for Despair, brought Junko's ghost back with her, played out a shadow killing simulation in the Neo-World Program where she drowned herself in the first round, woke up, put herself back into the program and got imprisoned by AI Junko so the game could continue as usual, and got into a romantic triad with Junko and one of my other Danganronpa OCs, Laiga/Ligeia the Ultimate Torturer. Arie also has an alternate self that was born in another world. She was a wind princess born on a tower built upon a rock where the chaotic wind, air and storm spirits had been imprisoned by mages who were freed by her mother with ritual deconstruction magic. Her mother and one of the air spirits there fell in love and had her. Maren, her mother, and Aeril, her father. Her mother water tortured her at an early age to prepare her to face death, which unlocked latent powers that activated to ensure her survival, allowing her to turn water molecules into air molecules and back. Her mother raised her to take over the realms, so she led the air, wind and storm spirits against her own cousin Erelona, the fire-mage knight princess, who was born of the human king Ernilo Kalinator and Maren's sister, Arie's aunt Terether Vane. Terether is an earth mage, Ernilo is a fire mage, Maren is a water mage, and Aeril is an air spirit, which makes Arie half mage human and half air spirit, allowing her to shift into an air/wind form and drift around the air, creating mini-tempests. Arie allied with a vampire noble, Druamire Waverde, for her invasion. He was the second son of vampire nobility, younger brother to the heiress of his family Valeria Waverde. They entered a romantic relationship and strategic alliance which he eventually betrayed her in, imprisoning her in a dungeon and getting her pregnant with her daughter Daimonet. Arie had made a demonic pact for greater magical powers in the past which she had told Druamire about, and Druamire sacrificed her child's soul to a demonic pact of his own in exchange for magical powers. This triggered a chain effect that destroyed their world. Part of Arie's soul is still shielding their world as an air bubble from multiversal demons looking to invade and exploit the demonic pact to devour all the souls of those in her world, while the rest of her and her family's soul has escaped to another world. Arie is reborn as the Danganronpa Arie, the Ultimate Architect, but through all her deaths, her alter ego has awakened and now lives as a dual consciousness within her head. Arie's child Daimonet Towerer-Waverde was sent to a limbo state in a realm between worlds where she grew up in a den of demons that wanted to hunt her down to devour her soul, which forced her to fend for herself since an early age. She has a playful, curious nature that belies a mind deeply attuned to the dark magical secrets and metaphysical nature of worlds.
