Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how PhoneAgent ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the PhoneAgent mobile application ("the App").

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

• Email address - collected only if you choose to sign in, and used solely for optional account features.
• App settings - your selected AI provider and optional API key references. API keys are stored on your device. We never read or share your API keys.
• Task activity - a local history of task descriptions you have run. This data stays on your device unless you choose to sync settings with an account.
• Screen content - PhoneAgent Coach may capture the current screen image after you approve Android screen recording permission. Screenshots are sent only to the AI provider you choose so it can give you manual guidance, and are never stored by us.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide optional account and settings features if you choose to sign in.
• To sync your app settings across your devices if enabled.
• To provide AI-powered manual screen guidance you request.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Screen Recording and Manual Guidance

The Google Play edition, PhoneAgent Coach, is guidance-only and does not use a device-control service. It does not tap, type, swipe, submit, purchase, delete, change settings, or otherwise operate your phone. It may use Android screen recording permission after you approve the system prompt so your selected AI provider can read the visible screen and give one manual next step. You perform every phone action yourself.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase (Authentication & Firestore) - used only for optional login and settings sync. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• AI Providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, or a local model you configure) - screenshots and task descriptions are sent to the provider you choose in Settings. We have no control over how those providers handle data; refer to their respective privacy policies.

6. Data Storage and Security

Optional account data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore with access restricted to your authenticated user account only. API keys you enter are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or any party other than the AI provider you select.

7. Data Retention

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at sb@renewablepowergrid.com. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the App.

8. Children's Privacy

PhoneAgent is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
