NIP-99 quality checklist

  • Title includes the buyer phrase.
  • Summary states the outcome in one sentence.
  • Image shows the actual product or output, not only a logo.
  • Price is visible in sats and, if helpful, approximate fiat.
  • Delivery method is explicit.
  • Refund/revision boundary is clear.
  • Seller identity has a public Nostr trail.
  • No seed phrase, private key, password, or account cookie is requested.
  • Tags match how buyers browse.
  • Listing links to a preview or proof artifact.

Seller onboarding copy

  • Start with one product. If the listing is clear, a tiny catalog beats an empty shop.
  • Use the title to say what the buyer gets, not just what the product is called.
  • Show delivery before payment: file, reply, shipped item, appointment, or service window.
  • Use public proof when possible: screenshots, sample outputs, test files, or prior fulfilled listings.
  • Make the post-payment step boring: pay, reply with order code, receive output.
  • Keep private data out of the order flow. Public context first, sensitive details only if truly needed.

Funding request

If useful to Shopstr, fund the compact $30 implementation sprint: turn this into final website/help copy, listing examples, and seller-facing snippets.
