Ball Gags

Postby Katescot » Wed Mar 28, 2012 11:38 am

We don't use gags of any sort because Paul is mildly asthmatic and we've always felt the risk of an attack or choking are too great. Are we being over protective?

We have wondered about using a ball gag, but never tried it so far. As long as the captive is face-up and never left alone I can't help but think a ball gag would be safe (perhaps for short periods?), and being fastened with a strap around the head it would be instantly removable in case of choking or asthma attack?

For members using ball gags, have you experienced any problems with them?

What is the longest time anyone has worn a ball gag?

With grateful thanks in anticipation of your replies.

Katie

I believe that some are made with velcro fastenings for easy removal.

I think you can use a ball gag safely if a) you are always at hand to remove it if there is a problem, and b) you don't use one that is absolutely as big as can possibly fit in his mouth. Even a very large ball gag does not completely seal the mouth all by itself; air can be drawn in around the edges.

Even allowing for the possibility that he will need more of an opening if he is starting to suffer an attack, I believe you can play with a smaller ball. There are also gags specifically designed for people who need to breathe through their mouths. See for example:

http://www.sub-shop.com/Drool-Gag.aspx

If you want to be absolutely sure, I'd recommend starting out by having him put the gag in but without buckling it or having him restrained in any other way. See if he can hold it for, say, half an hour. But he can remove it himself instantly if there is a problem. Once you are certain that he can tolerate the gag in his mouth for a reasonable period without triggering an attack, you can then start to play with the gag fastened in placed and his hands restrained - remembering, of course, to remain in close proximity at all times so that you can respond quickly if an attack does come on.

Frankly, I suspect the larger problem will be the saliva, not the asthma, especially if he's on his back. If he's sitting or standing, he can always tilt his head down and drool - not elegant, perhaps, but it avoids choking. I can manage to swallow even with a very large ball in my mouth, but I'm not sure that everyone can. Again, you'll just have to try it and see.

I'm thinking cloth cleave gags, like with bandanas. They aren't very effective (but they look good) and are quite easy for the captive to push out with his tongue.

How about a ring gag?

What is a ring gag and how does that work?

What is the longest anyone has had a gag in, especially a ball gag?

Well, from my personal history some of my victims have worn a ballgag over several hours.
Besides drool the main "problem" with this type of gag is that the jaw is always forced open- if you do it too much/too long untrained, it will feel uncomfortable even after removal and something may get overbended.
Having said that...if you like gags, give it a try. Its much more safe like some people think it is- just keep in mind to never leave the person alone.
It takes time to suffocate - at least enough time, to remove any kind of gag. If you have a pair of medical scissors at hand, you can cut of any gag within seconds.

It looks like this and leaves the mouth open with a giant hole in the middle. It also makes it possible to stick things in your victim's mouth.

I have never had any problems using either ring gags or ball gags. However I do make a point to never leave the girl alone when she is gagged. Just I case and for my own peace of mind.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to answer - it was very kind of you all.

Have you seen our "The All In One" posting on this section? I think we'll stick to that.

Thank you again guys.

A bigger and more frequent problem than the one of free breathing with many gags is the fact that ball gags can make the jaw almighty sore after a while (heaven help you if your jaw gets a cramp!!!), and IMO the drool isn't much fun either. Unless you absolutely have to experience the sensation of being gagged, I'd say you're better off without them. Even if you do try, the common-sense ideas Cellofello and Fesselfan mentioned should help make the experience a safe and pleasurable one for all concerned. Just start slow and cautious and work your way up from there.

YES hard rubber ball gags make your jaw sore after just a few minutes! But there are ones with softer balls, like spongy material, that are easier to keep in for longer periods of time. Or you could make your own with a soft ball!

I've worn one for slightly over 24 hours, not counting the time needed to drink water.

Like other people have already said, you can get ballgags with velcro fastenings that are far easier to remove in case of an asthma attack. Another idea might be to get a wiffle gag - they're ball gags except the ball is made of hollow plastic and has small holes pierced through it for easier breathing. If you want to experiment that might be a good place to start?

In regards to your other questions, the longest I've worn a ballgag for is around about an hour. For me, the biggest problem is that they can make your jaw really sore after a fairly short period of time. Another problem I had was that for the first few times I use a new ballgag, it tastes very rubbery and it's not particularly pleasant. But they look amazing and are great fun - I'd definitely recommend finding yourselves one that would be safe for you to use :)
