Mitch's Misadventure

Postby myself1931 » Sat Jan 28, 2012 7:09 pm

“So much for helping with an English project” thought Mitch as he lay on the floor. “How did they ever manage to con me into this?”

4 hours earlier.

It was just an ordinary Friday at school. With the Christmas break fast approaching, 17 year old Mitch really did not have much to do in his peer-tutoring class. The grade nine math class was watching a movie after a month of studying for their EQAO testing. At the end of class, as he was packing up, two of the girls in the class came up to him.

“Hey Mitch, remember how you said you were willing to help us with stuff for other classes?” asked Sally. Sally was one of the tallest girls in the class, nearing Mitch’s own 6’1”. She had brown hair, blue eyes, and a tan from a recent vacation. Sally was wearing a white turtleneck sweater, black tights, and a jean skirt. She was also the most well developed girl in the class ;)

“Yeah, what class do you need help in?” replied Mitch. Mitch was your typical 17 year old guy. He had short, dirty blond hair with green eyes. Because he was on the soccer team, there was no fat on him, but he wasn’t super muscular either. This day, he was wearing a plain red sweat jacket, blue jeans, and white socks.

“Weeeeell, since I was away for my English class’s media unit, me and Robin here have to do a make-up assignment. We need to make an old fashion movie, so we decided to make a Western. But we need a guy for the villain, and we were hoping you could help, weren’t we Robin?” said Sally as she elbowed Robin behind her back so Mitch couldn’t see.

“Yeah, that’s right, we need a villain to kidnap one of us and hold them hostage for the other to rescue” stated Robin, giving Sally a dirty look. Robin was the shyest girl in the class, which wasn’t surprising since she was also the shortest. That hadn’t stopped her and Sally becoming best friends over the past few years. Robin was 5’6”, with red hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a baggy red and green sweater, with sweats and black socks.

“So, you need someone to kidnap you, do you? Well, I think I can be of some help.” Although Mitch tried to say this as calmly as possible, his heart was beating super-fast. Ever since he was a little kid, Mitch had had a love of tying people up. However, he didn’t want Robin and Sally to think he was a creepy weirdo, so he tried to act cool.

“When do you want some?”

“Well, my parents are gone all weekend, so do you want to come over after school tonight? Also, could you bring whatever you need to kidnap one of us?” asked Sally.

“Sure, what time?”

“Ohh, around 4, so me and Robin can get ready.”

“Okay, see you then.”

Thanks for the comments guys:)

Part 2

For the rest of the school day, all Mitch could think about was his meeting that afternoon. As soon as the final bell went, he went running out to his car and zoomed over to the local Home Hardware. After half an hour, Mitch had over 500 feet of rope in various lengths and thicknesses. He also bought a dozen rolls of duct tape, each a different colour, and 100 feet of chains, plus 4 padlocks and 2 combo locks. Mitch was so absorbed in planning his evening that he did not even notice the weird looks the cashier gave him.

Once all his supplies were loaded in his trunk, Mitch realized that he didn’t actually know where Sally lived. Smacking his forehead, he sheepishly sent Sally a text asking for directions to her house. The directions she gave him lead to a large house far out in the countryside. Looking around in amazement, Mitch slowly drove up the driveway.

When he pulled up to the front door of the house, Sally came running out wearing the same outfit as earlier, only barefoot.

“Oh good, you’re here!! Did you get the supplies?”

“Sure did, they are all in the trunk. Where do you want them?”

“Just bring them into the living room for now. We need to sort out some stuff before we start filming. By the way, when do you have to go home?”

“I don’t have a set time, I’m allowed to stay out all weekend as long as my parents know where I am.”

“Good.” As Sally said this, an evil smile came over her face for a second, but Mitch was too overwhelmed to notice. “Come on, bring the stuff in.”

After they had unloaded the car, Mitch asked where Robin was.

“Ohh, she had to run home to get her costume. Now, we need to get you into yours. The plan for the movie is this: you are an evil Indian, Robyn is the victim you capture, and I will swoop in to save the day. Got it?”

“Yeah, I think so. Where is my costume?”

“Follow me, I made all the costumes myself.”

Going down a long hall, Mitch found himself in Sally’s bedroom. Laid out on the bed was a pair of moccasins, a headband with a feather in it, a cloth purse, and a brown loin skin with a belt.

“Is that all there is to it?” asked Mitch.

“Of course not, there is also a mask and war paint, but we can add that when we start filming. I’ll go get us something to drink well you get dressed. Come back out to the living room when you are done, and just leave your clothes in here.” As soon as Sally said this, she left skipping out the door, closing it behind her.

Now Mitch was slightly apprehensive. He wasn’t sure if he was comfortable wearing the costume, but he figured that they were only grade nines, so they probably weren’t thinking the same thing he was when he looked at the costume. He reluctantly stripped down and put on the costume. Going back to the living room, he found Sally sitting on the couch with a glass of lemonade in front of her.

“Oh good, the costume fits. I wasn’t sure it would. Now, you relax well I go get changed. Robin should be back soon, but don’t let her parents see you like this. They are waaaaaaaaaay too uptight, and it would ruin the whole weekend.”

Now, for the next part, I want your guys input. What would you like to see happen next? The best suggestion will be used.
