Blue Nose Pitbull

Postby Finn4323 » Sat Jun 28, 2014 2:41 pm

I'm curious. A friend of mine had me securely hogtied on the spare bed at his place. I tried VERY hard and was NOT getting out. He had done an excellent job of tying me. No getting the feet loose. No getting the hogtie loose so I could straighten my legs. And absolutely no way of getting my hands loose. His eight month old pit, walked in, saw me laying there struggling, and within 3 1/2 minutes (Erik was in the next room) Lady had untied me completely. She didn't even bite through the ropes. She chewed on the knots until she was able to loosen them. He was shocked when I walked in to the room since he was so sure I wasn't getting loose. When I told him, that he had me, but that Lady had turned me loose. He couldn't decide if I was a liar or crazy. Neither is true. So, he tried again. Used even more rope, even more knots. I couldn't even struggle this time. Couldn't move at all. Took Lady 6 minutes this time to untie me. I used to watch Lassie untie Timmy when I was a kid but I figured she was a very well trained dog with professional handlers and that they had probably put something on the rope to draw her to it. Now, I wonder. Has anyone else ever been tied up, and had their dog, or a friend's dog untie them? Is this only in the Pitbull? If so, is it somehow in their breeding?

Trust me. It is COMPLETLY true. Erik, Jake and I were all three shocked. I had no idea ANY dog would do that. Thought she MIGHT try to chew on the ropes, but to actually pull at the knots was truly amazing. Naturally I couldn't watch since I was hogtied. My hands were behind my back. But Erik and Jake both watched her and we were all amazed that she did it all, and even more amazed at how quickly she did it. VERY talented at untying me. Maybe I should adopt her. Nah, no one ties me any more, and when they do, I free myself. The couple guys who tie me are so bad at it, I have no trouble freeing myself. Erik is the only one who ties me in such a way that I can't free myself, and Lady would never leave him. Besides, it's fun to have him tie me, then go to the bathroom, or go outside for a smoke, then have Lady untie me. Ironic that the ONLY guy who can keep me tied at all, has a dog who unties me.

Amazing story. I don't think I have a chance with 2 cats instead :(
Probably wouldn't help much in any case, I usually wound up in leather or iron and I doubt if even Lady could navigate a handcuff key :( :(
You can see what I'm talking about in "Talk is Cheap...." in true stories.

Hat's off to lady and a good story teller too. Thanks for sharing. cheers
