Megalooney

I wish to share two words with fellow members:
Trump, twat

For God's sake (assuming a monotheistic deity), he's making "CallmeDave" look like a thinking politician.

Honestly if I had to choose (and may such a dark day never come) between Trump and David 'Call Me Dave" Cameron I'd go with Cameron.

What Trump advocates for is Fascism. Plain and simple, he wants to get rid of the muslims REGARDLESS if they're US citizens and create a national database of all muslims. Sounds like another famous politician that rose to power in Germany in the 1930s by making a scapegoat of another group...

The most amusing thing is the claim by some Republicans that he is actually working for the Democrats.

That was possible until he turned his attention on the UK, putting major business venture at risk in Scotland. After that, it seems that he really does believe what he is saying.

At present there is a total in excess of half a million people petitioning Parliament to ban Trump from entering Britain. Other than the fact that our spineless, vacillating "Prime Minister" wouldn't dare to do it, it would only fuel his ego and delusions of adequacy even more. We have a Government with a clear majority in the House of Commons that is afraid of making decisions because it can't rely on its members t toe the party line. In any case, Dave-of-the-Order-of-the-Pork-Sword doesn't seem to pick on the rich, even ones who won't pay their taxes in Britain, all the while he can drive the poor and those dependent on welfare even further to the margins.

In my opinion, the looney should not be banned. He should be admitted and every breath he takes on British soil should be protested. He should not be protected from contact with protest as several unsavoury foreign politicians and Heads of State have been recently when visiting (e.g. President Deng and the Saudi King). Admittedly, it will make little difference to his delusions of adequacy and will do nothing to convince him to change his stated beliefs but it could be fun if there are enough Flat-Earthers in the United States to elect him. I'd like to think that is unlikely but, before the incumbent, they did elect someone with an intellect only slightly higher than the chimp as which he was depicted in Britain. ("The President Graduated in the top 80% of his cohort.")

Fun times ahead.

Just one question. How do we know this, since Obama has had all of his college records sealed?

Once again you assume some dropout numbskull on the radio is telling you the unvarnished truth and you lack the self-respect to spend 10 seconds looking into it.

Ooops! Sorry, inadequate response reading.
I was referring to Dubya of whom it was said, when someone asked if it was significant that one of the contenders to replace him was a Mormon, that the extra "m" probably wouldn't make much difference.

When Willie Geist asked Donald Trump exactly how he would prevent Muslims from entering the US he replied: "Ask them, if they say yes they can't come in."
That's it. And we all know that all terrorists never lie, right?

Clearly not the echo chamber, who apparently think that one slip up is a bigger deal than 8 years of mush-mouthed idiocy like "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family" and "One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures"

Could you imagine what would have happened if during the time of 'The Troubles' the UK banned all Irish Catholics from entering the mainland?

Now, how do you think Europe is going to react when their citizens are going to be quizzed on their religion when entering the United States? Is Donald Trump after the destruction of all alliances with European nations?

Imagine when Turkey, a fellow NATO member has its citizens barred from the United States...

There are 16 Middle Eastern nations that ban Israelis and Jews from entering. In Saudi Arabia, if you are not Muslim, you cannot enter the cities of Mecca or Medina.

Not that what Trump says, is right, but if we are going to condemn him for wanting to curtail the immigration of Muslims to the US, should not the other nations that bar people on the basis of religion, be likewise condemned?

I also don't like many of these nations as they are medieval and their process of law is far worse. I wouldn't go to these countries even if I was paid.

However, it is no excuse for the US to sink to that level. It's a pity your NON-response didn't cover what would have happened if the UK had sunk to that level. In fact, you don't actually respond to anything at all.

"Not that what Trump says, is right, but if we are going to condemn him for wanting to curtail the immigration of Muslims to the US"

Well, first of all, you don't even 'suggest' that it is wrong.

Secondly, I am surprised that you would try such a bare-faced lie in saying "curtail the immigration of Muslims to the US" when it is "A total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States."

It is not 'Curtail' as that means a reduction. It is a "Complete shutdown"

It is not about 'immigration' as that means to stay there. It is 'Entering the United States'

You are about as honest as Trump was when he lied to the people of London about the state of their capital.
