Bondage hits Fashion

A few weeks ago a fashion show was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil which featured models in bondage. Fashion designer Samuel Cirnansck showed off his collection with the models bound and gagged. A couple of links have been provided to see this show for yourself:

Could this be the start of a new trend? Let's hope so.

There’s a nice video here.

I don’t find the fashion (clothes, that is) very appealing, but the accessories are something I could wear.
Words, like Nature, half reveal and half conceal the soul within.

Most fashion shows are. Showcasing the clothes appears to take a back seat to promoting the designer’s ego.
Still, it’s hard to knock the idea of bondage fashion – more appealing than many a “latest trend”. Let’s hope it catches on.

It pretty much already has! And has been for a long, long time. . .

There are so many designers out there whose fashions and shows are inspired heavily by fetishism and bondage - Vivienne Westwood, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Galliano for Dior, D&G, Burberry. . .I could go on! Nearly every season, there are a couple of shows that feature bondage quite heavily. They don't generally do it quite as explicitly as the photos from the above show, but cuffs, chains, straight jackets and mouth coverings are pretty common in runway shows.

Not to mention that. Bondage is very common on Japanese television, and even on US shows like Attack of the Show that featured a "how-to" segment on hogtying your lover!

I have a feeling it's here to stay for quite some time.
Walk the mile first... then have the fun!
