Anyone been chloroformed?

Postby SephySJ » Mon Oct 08, 2012 10:32 am

Wondered if anyone has ever experienced chloroforming followed by bondage?

I never have and am curious about the sensation. Just imagine being chloroformed and then coming to in bondage, it would be pretty crazy. Though I don't know if I'd try it as I'm not sure whether it's safe or not.

Anyone got any thoughts on the subject?

Never tried this either. I hear the one being chloroformed can wake up pretty drowsy and nauseated. Not at all like on tv!

Given that it cuts off oxygen to the brain, using chloroform would be a very stupid thing to do.

Yeah I've heard some people fantasize about it and think it's a great way to be kidnapped, but I would never gag someone who was unconscious. Think it's probably best avoided.

As awesome of an idea as it sounds, it is extremely dangerous. Anyone saying they've actually done it is either lying or probably got lucky by not being killed. There's a reason anesthesiologists, even under controlled conditions, never use it.

It's probably a much better idea to just hope that your partner is a very heavy sleeper, then wait for night to fall.

I'm pretty sure chloroform is considered a controlled substance you could get arrested simply for obtaining without the proper licenses, because it can be very dangerous in the wrong hands. This one is best kept as a fantasy.

The best substitute with relative safety is probably sleeping pill. Of course, there is no 'knockout' effect and I think again, the person wakes up.... pretty much like they just took sleeping pills and woke up without having a real sleep :P It makes me wonder if they'd feel less if they were being tied up (in other words, could you tie them up without them waking up if you were somewhat gentle).

Benadryl. That shit is crazy affective. One pill and I slept 26 hours straight.

Never experienced it myself, not do I know anyone who says they have. IMO something best left to pure fiction.

Thanks for everyone's sage counsel on the matter, I think any hint of curiosity I had has been dispelled. Not that I would ever try such a thing without first doing my research, but I wasn't all that keen on the thought in the first place.

I don't think thats a particulary safe thing to do, or legal for that matter.

Certain drugs, such as Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate (GHB) have been banned because of their association with rapes, and are thus known as date-rape drugs. If chloroform was safe to use, rapists certainly would use it to knock out their victims and chloroform would surely end up on the list of banned substances just for that reason. Any drug that can be used for rendering a person unconscious for the purpose of tying up, can also be used for sexual assault as well.

I think it's best to pretend... that way it is safe!

It would be super interesting to have any couple/friends on here try the whole benedryl/sleeping pill out. Can someone take some and be tied up while asleep without waking?

Probably depends on the person. Me, I'm such a light sleeper it would likely be impossible - though when I was a kid I used to pretend to remain asleep when my cousins came into my room to tie me up. 8)

Wouldn't mind trying the whole sleeping pill experiment out but I have no one to tie up or tie me up >.<

Anything that causes unconsciousness can be dangerous.

To be honest, i would steer clear of sleeping pills as well as chloroform! Taking prescribed medication when you don't actually need it can be massively dangerous.

But in addition to everyone else, of course I have never used chloroform - I value my health far too much xD

Besides, even if there would be a safe knockout pill, it would still be a shame to miss the fun getting tied up.

This varies significantly from person to person. Not only does it not make me sleepy in any way, but a large dose will make my sleep very fitful. You seem to be at the opposite end of the scale.
