I hate Toshiba

Postby myself1931 » Thu Mar 15, 2012 4:29 pm

I won't be on very much for the next little while, seeing as how my laptop broke. This really sucks, cause I was almost done a new story, and had the ending for my current story finished too. Shit.
Finally got out of that small town, I now live in Toronto. Anyone nearby feel free to hit me up.

My toshiba lasted 6 years, before physical damage gave it a rude ending. Using Samsung now.
I close my eyes, Inis Mona
And reminisce of those palmy days
I moon o'er you, Inis Mona
As long as I breathe
I'll call you my home

For those on this side of the pond, I have found some amazing laptop deals in ValuePawn, Southern Pawn, and CashAmerica. Last year, I scarfed up a Compaq Presario CQ62 laptop. with Windows 7 Premium Home, 218 gigs hard drive capacity, 2 gigs RAM, Intel Celeron CPU, 64 bit operating system, and a DVD writer, all for $200. My SWAG (Scientific Wild-Ass Guess) is that it would have been around 140 Pounds Sterling, or 185 Euros. (Sorry, no pound or euro symbols on my American computer.)

Had a Toshiba laptop for a while a couople of years ago, but IMO it was a piece of crap and I sold it dirt cheap after just a few months.
