Duct tape gags

Postby duct_t@p3 » Thu Oct 08, 2009 4:36 am

I'll soon go buy duct tape, but I have a problem. I don't know if I must choose a roll from a great brand ("Powertape" from Henkel) or a "no-brand" pack (3 rolls for the same price). Is the "brandless" duct tape good ? Is it the same quality ? I don't want to pay for bad quality or pay too much.

In my experience the name branded stuff is stronger tape, it'll hold better, goes on better, and it's easier to tear off from the roll by hand... except it leaves a lot of residue behind. That sticky gunk that makes it stick will unfortunately continue to stick on your face and in your hair or on your clothes after you've pealed it off. The no name stuff sometimes will do this too but in my experience comes off a lot easier with out a lot less mess.

The branded is stronger ? Do you know a product which unstick the duct tape ?

The best duct tape, in my opinion (if what you are looking for is tape that prevents any talking or slipping off due to perspiration) is military duct tape (camoflage style). I got some at an Army surplus store, put one piece on and could not get it loose. If the roll is new then it's even reusable!

It'll wash off, but if you got facial hair or it's applied to any skin with hair you're gonna have a fun time. The gooey tape stuff globs up in the hair and I've scrubbed at it for a while in the shower to get it off. I've heard there's a product that'll get the stuff off easily, and even read some home remedies before but nothing comes to mind right now. I've had clothes come outta the laundry before and they've still have tape residue on them.

Reusable? That's something. Most of the time after it comes off a huge part of its stickiness is gone.

Take it from me, duct tape and facial hair is not a good combination.

I once played around with this clear kind of duct tape. It is to date the only kind that I could put one strip over my mouth and it both prevented me from talking and would not come off without me using my hands to pull it off. All other kinds either don't prevent talking much or will prevent talking, but will eventually come off simply by working your lips up and down. I can't for the life of me remember what kind it was though.

Duct tape is expensive in France... :?

I usually take two strips, I stick them of a clean and smooth surface, I push of the tape to see the "structure", then I unstick it and re-stick it on the mouth. It's effective.

Bondage tape works well and can be reused again and again if you roll it back up the right way. Also it does not stick to your skin or your clothes. It sticks to itself. Great for mummification and gagging around the head with and tying someone up. You can't break this stuff and it wont tear your skin or hair.
Treat others as you wish to be treated. Having said that I will not sit idly by while someone is disrespecting another just because they think they are better than everyone else.

I don't want to enter in a sex shop... :|
I think duct tape can be very effective with saran wrap as a hair protection.
