This is a story I wrote last year. I also posted it at the old board. Some of you may already know it, some won't. Anyways, enjoy!
The Story of Sarah Christy MacAuden - Part 1
After two weeks of threatening letters and notes, such as: "I know where you live", "Your life will change forever soon" and "I'm coming to get you", just to name a few, the twelve year old seventh grader Christy decided to tell her parents.
"Mom, I feel really guilty for not telling you about it." she said while entering the kitchen on the morning of the twentieth of December.
"What's wrong Chris?" she got in return.
"This is what's wrong." Christy said as the dropped the notes on the kitchen and took a seat on the stool next to her mother. Tears were starting to run down her face and the nose-sniffing followed right after. Her mother then put her arm around Christy and held her against her.
"Are you not mad at me?"
"No, of course not, sweatheart. I'd rather find out now then to find out you're gone."
A moment of silence followed.
"I love you, mom." she said while wiping her tears and giving her mother a big hug.
"I love you too, sweatheart. Let me bring you to school, after that I'll go to the Police Station to show them these notes. Look, here's your lunch pack."
Only a few moments after that, the front door was closed and locked by Audrey, Christy's mother. They both got in their Audi Q7, which is one more object that showed that the bank account of the MacAudens was far from empty. Christy quickly did her hair in a nice ponytail while in the car, before they arrived at the front door of the school. Christy got out of the car, her mother opened the window and shouted:
"See you later Chris, daddy will pick you up from school, OK? Love you!"
"OK, see you mom!" she yelled back, before entering the school building.
The school building is an old building, which was built in 1921 and was now being renovated. Because of that renovation, the last 200 feet of the hallway and five classrooms that are located along that hallway, are under construction.
Just when Christy saw one of her best friends Emma, the bell rang. They walked to the classroom together and talked about that this is the last day of school before Christmas and about what she thinks she will get for Christmas. Just on time, they entered the classroom, which was the last room before you walk into the construction area.
After a minute or thirty, a man, dressed as a police officer, knocked on the door and a second later opened it. He asked the female teacher if she had a moment and she said she did.
"I am looking for a Christy MacAuden," he said, "is she here?"
"Whoooooooooo... What did you do this time Christy?" Mike, a classmate of her, said.
"Shut up Mike! I am here, sir." Christy said back while raising her hand.
"I'd like you to come with me, if your teacher doesn't mind."
"No, of course not officer. Can I expect her back here today?"
"Mmm, I'm not sure about that miss."
"Well, Happy Christmas if I don't see you anymore today."
"Thanks Miss White!" Christy said as she picked up her schoolbag and walked out of the classroom together with the officer.
"So who is this Miss White?" the officer asked.
"Oh, she's my favourite teacher. She always helps you when you don't understand something and if you still don't understand after she explained it, she'll just explain it twice. You know, she gives Math, also my favourite, but don't tell anyone, 'cause they'll think I'm a nerd if you do."
Against the time Christy was done talking, they made it to the front door of the school. They left the building and walked down the four steps. Only a few yards away, on the exact same spot her mother dropped her off was a black Jeep Grand Cherokee waiting for the two to get in.
"After you ma'am" the officer said, when he opened the rear door.
Christy stepped in and the officer took a seat right next to her.
The driver of the car then slowly started to drive and took a left turn. Then he suddenly said:
"I told you I'd come and get you soon..."
The split second after that came out of the driver's mouth, Christy started yelling frantically and started hitting the driver on his right arm and shoulder, but that was quickly stopped by the so called "police officer", who clamped his left arm around Christy's arms and his right hand on her mouth, restraining and silencing her at the same time. This all was followed by an evil laugh of the driver, which only made Christy more angry. At that point, Christy started moving her whole body and even tried kicking the driver and the man holding her. But she soon found out, that it didn't help at all. The man holding her just tightened his arm till it started to hurt her and at that moment Christy made a wise decision and stopped kicking.
The driver stopped the car and backed it up into a small alley. He walked to the other side of the car and opened the back door, so the other man, still holding her and hand-gagging her effectively, could step out and take her to the rear of the car. The driver opened the back of the car and got out the roll of tape that was laying there.
He was approaching Christy with the tape in his hand, but Christy started moving her legs, so they couldn't be taped. The man holding her lifted her up, about four inches off the ground and Christy started kicking with her legs again.
"You know how this kicking ended last time, right?" Max, the man holding her, said. "Hold your legs still, OK, there's no-one here to help you and I can assure you, you are going in the back of that car one way or the other."
With that said, she continued kicking in the hope someone would see her, but unfortunately for her, no-one did. Roger, the driver, quickly grabbed her legs, held them together with one hand and started taping them with the other. When he looped it around a few times, he let go of Christy's legs and found out it worked. Max put Christy down on the ground again and Roger now taped her knees. All of Christy's fighting didn't seem to work for her, which made her feel somewhat helpless.
"I will open my arms, if you say anything, I can promise you, you'll get in a lot of trouble girl." Max said. "And do everything that Roger tells you to do, 'kay?"
Trouble was just the last thing Christy wanted at this time, so she just said nothing, as told.
"OK, turn around and put your hands behind your back. Oh sorry, you can't turn around. Well, just put your hands behind your back then." Roger said.
He walked around Christy, to where her hands were and crossed them. Then he started winding tape around it, first vertically, then horizontally, until he thought it was enough. Max grabbed Christy's left arm and started dragging her towards the car, making her hop, because of her taped legs. He lifted Christy up and made her sit on the edge, with her legs hanging out of the car.
"OK, it's time to put some of this shiny silver tape on that cute little mouth of yours." Roger said.
"No, please I'll be quiet! What did I do wrong to you anyways? Hey, don't put that tape on my mouth, you hear me, dommmmph..." Christy did a last attempt, but was silenced by a large piece of tape that almost streched from ear to ear. Roger then pressed it on tightly, to make sure it wouldn't let go.
"What you did wrong to me? Nothing, but your so fortunate to be a kid with rich parents." Roger said as he pushed in Christy's legs and shut the back door of the car.
In the meantime, Max got out of his uniform and put on some regular clothes. Roger got behind the wheel again and fired up the engine. They could still hear faint 'mmmphs' from Christy.
"Hey Chris, stop whining or I'll have to give you some sleeping pills." Max yelled. At the time Max finished his scentence, Christy was already quiet. And even more scared then a couple of minutes ago.
Oh god, what have I done? Why did I come with that officer in the first place? How can I be so stupid? Why didn't I just yell in that alley? What if I'll never get back home again? Oh my mom is going to kill me for this...
A lot of thoughts were going through her mind. Mostly negative ones, blaming herself.

The Story of Sarah Christy MacAuden - Part 2
By this time it was already 4 p.m.. After leaving Miami, they drove for hours and they were almost entering the state of Georgia. Just past the city of Gainesville, Roger took the exit to an abandoned parking lot and parked the Grand Cherokee next to the small restroom building. The men needed to take a leak and thought that Christy would like that too. Max got out of the car, walked to the back of the car and opened the boot. To his surprise, Christy was quietly sleeping in a pretty awkward position. Her belly was showing and Roger just couldn't resist. He pinched Christy in her side, who was 'mmmphing' twice before she realised what position she was in.
"Bathroom break, kid..." Max said as he got his pocket knife out.
Christy's eyes were still adjusting as Max cut the tape holding her hands, knees and ankles. Her hands did feel a little numb, but a bit of rubbing took care of that pretty soon. When she felt her hands again, she started peeling the tape off her mouth. She had a hard time doing that, but after a minute of trying, she got it off.
"Aww man, that tape hurts, you know..." she said.
"Come on kid, we can't keep standing here forever." Max said as her grabbed her arm and slightly encouraged her to walk to the toilets.
A couple of minutes later, they came back to the car.
"Hey Rog, she wants to ask you something."
"And what is it that you want to ask then?"
"If you could let me sit on the back seat instead of tied up in the back of the car." Christy said.
"And how am I supposed to know for sure that you won't wave to other cars to draw attention from them?"
"Maybe I can promise you?"
"Alright then, you can sit behind me," Roger said, "but one wrong move and you'll get taped up and put in the back again."
"Oh, one more thing, you don't have to try to run, the door has got child lock..." Max added.
With that said, Roger closed the back of the car and got behind the wheel. Max put Christy in the seat behind Roger, shut the door behind her and got in the passenger seat himself. By this time it already was 4.30 p.m.. It was already getting pretty dark because of the fact that it was winter. Roger turned on the lights and continued driving north, to Atlanta.
"Christy, there are some pencils and coloring plates in your door. There are a couple of DVD's too. Just tell me if you want to see one, then I can put it in the DVD player for you." Max said.
"I think I'll watch a DVD. Here, this one, Princess Diaries 2. I've seen it ten times before, but that doesn't matter."
The highway's were pretty boring, but Christy didn't seem to notice. It was almost like she forgot she was kidnapped. After an hour and a half, around 6 p.m., They were almost running out of fuel and the three were getting quite hungry, because they didn't have lunch. About 10 miles after they got into Georgia, they took the exit and after another 10 minutes they arrived at a fairly large house, in the middle of nowhere. This stop was to get some food in their bodies and to take another car, as it was too risky to continue driving in the Grand Cherokee. At the same time the car stopped, the movie Christy was watching ended. Max and Roger got out of the car and Roger opened the door for Christy. There she stood for a moment staring in the darkness.
Maybe this is the moment to run away... But what if they outrun me? What if I fall and they get me, what will they do to me? And what if I get away, where can I go?
"Christy..."
But what if I do escape? Will they chase me?
"Hey, Christy..."
What will they do to me anyways?
"Chris!"
"Yes, what's wrong, your don't have to yell at me like that!"
"What were you doing? Daydreaming at night?"
"Well, yeah, maybe I did..." Christy said sarcastically as she walked into the house.
Once inside the three had dinner. A stomach-filling Spaghetti Carbonara was on the menu. While they were having dinner, the host, Marty, had a phonecall with "the Boss" and was told to let them drive on with a Range Rover Sport. Marty put a couple of drinks and some food in the back of the car and walked back to the house. He placed the car keys on the dining table and left again.
"Watch her for a couple of minutes, 'kay?" Max asked.
"Sure." was Roger's response.
When Max was gone for a minute, Christy suddenly snatched the keys from the table and ran for her life. She pulled all the chairs from the table, closed all the doors behind her, just to make it hard for Roger to get her.
"Christy get back here! Stay where you are! Listen to me, right NOW!" Roger yelled at her as he chased her.
Christy ran for the car, as she could see on the key, it was a Range Rover. She quickly got in and immediately locked the doors from the inside. Her heart was beating faster than ever. She could see Roger coming from the left, so she tried to get the key in the lock. When Roger was a couple of yards away from the car, she got it started. At that point Christy almost panicked, because, like most twelve year olds, she doesn't know exactly how to drive a car. She had seen on TV how to put it in Drive and what each pedal is for, but when someone is at your door who's pretty angry, it's pretty hard to focus.
She suddenly hit the brakes, put the gear shifter all the way down into D and put her right foot on the right pedal, all the way down. She took off with slightly screaming tires, but had no idea at all where to go. She was just big enough to watch over the steering wheel.
Roger ran to the Grand Cherokee as fast as he could, started it, picked up Max, who was running outside to see what's going on, and started following Christy.
A mile down the road, they were past Christy and hit the brakes. They were now diagonally on the road. Christy also hit the brakes and after a second or two of screaming tires, the car came to a hold. She put it back into P and left the car running. She could see Roger and Max walk up to the car. Christy could read from their faces that they were really angry.
"Sarah Christy MacAuden, you have got exactly 3 seconds to open that door, or I'll smash the side window!" Roger yelled.
Oh heck, what have I done? What made me do this? They'll never forgive me!
She decided to open the door and not make them more angry as they already were. They pulled her out of the car in a very rough way.
"Ouch, I swear, I didn't mean to do this, but I just, I just want to spend Christmas at home with my mother and I miss my mother and I want to see her and..."
"Christy, shut up for a moment!" Max said.
He walked with Christy to the Grand Cherokee, held her arms behind her and taped them together. They walked back to the Range Rover, he roughly put Christy in the back seat and slammed the door in the frame. Roger got behind the wheel in the Grand Cherokee and Max drove in the Range Rover and together they went back to the house where they had dinner.

The Story of Sarah Christy MacAuden - Part 3
While laying on the back seat, she thought about how stupid she'd been.
Why did I have to be a smart ass? I need to say sorry for this.
The two cars arrived at the house and Christy was pulled out of the car.
"What the heck were you thinking?!" Max said as he pulled Christy's hair back slightly.
"I'm sorry, please don't tie me up again, can you let go of my hair, please, I'm sorry, OK?"
"OK, apologies accepted for now." Roger said as he cut the tape holding her hands. "Get in the car and don't pull these kind of tricks anymore."
They all got in the car, Roger, who was behind the wheel, sounded the horn to Marty and then took off. After a minute or 10, they were back on the highway and started driving north again.
One day and twelve hours later, at 8 Ante Meridiem, December 22nd, they entered the town of Toledo, Ohio, after driving through Atlanta, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Lexington, Cincinnati and Dayton. Max and Roger switched places every hour or three, so they wouldn't get too tired, but after driving two full days, Roger and Max were both pretty exhausted. They stopped at the first hotel they could find. Christy was, again, sleeping as a rock.
Max lifted Christy out of the car, Roger drove away and Max carried Christy like a baby into the hotel.
"Good morning, sir." the young desk lady said. She was probably around age 16, just old enough to work legally, with a name tag saying Annie.
"I was about to say the same," Max said, laughing a little.
"How can I help you?"
"Ehh, yes, my wife checked in a few days ago. Can you tell me in which room she is?"
"Sure, what's your last name?"
"Carter."
"And who is this you're holding?"
"This is Christy, our daughter. We were in the car all night, so she's pretty much dead from exhaustion..."
"Oh, hehe, OK, your wife is in room 407. If you take the elevator, you need to go to the fourth floor and then go left. Then it's the third door on your right."
"OK, thanks. Have a nice day, Annie."
"Huh, how do you know my name?"
"It's on your tag..."
"Hehe, have a nice day too, Mister Carter."
Max entered the elevator and pressed the button saying 4. When the elevator doors opened again, he walked to room 407 and knocked on the door. His wife opened and he gave her a quick kiss.
"Hey Max, I've got good news. We're getting 50 per cent of the ransom money."
"No kidding! That's really good news. That makes her worth about, errr, two and a half million?"
"Yep, so time to tie her up, so she doesn't run away."
"Are you sure?"
"What the heck? Of course I am sure. I'm not going to let 2.5 million run away!" Sophia, Max' wife said while shutting the door. "I think we should tie her spread eagled on this bed here."
So Max placed Christy on the bed and his wife started fiddling with the ropes. First she tied each wrist to a bed post and then she tied each ankle to a seperate bed post, 'spread eagle'-ing her to the bed. Sophia walked to the kitchen, got two kitchen towels and on her way back, she picked up the roll of duct tape which was in her suitcase. She used one towel to blindfold Christy and then put tape on her mouth. After that, Sophia tied the second towel over the duct tape. She stood back and looked at her handiwork and walked away from the bed. Christy was still sleeping.
At around 10 a.m., Christy wanted to pull her hand down, but she soon realized she couldn't. Because of that, she woke up and wanted to open her eyes. But that wasn't possible either.
What is this? Why can't I move my arms? Why would Max do this to me? Where am I in the first place?
Then Christy tried yelling, but she found out she wasn't making much noise. She continued yelling, in the hope someone would come to her. With success. After half a minute of loud 'mmmph'ing, Sophia sat next to her on the bed.
"Is there something you have to say?" Sophia said as she removed the gag. She immediately replaced it with her hand, to make sure she didn't make a sound. "No screaming, OK?"
Christy nodded and Sophia removed her hand.
"Why am I tied up and blindfolded? Can't you just let me go?"
"Let you go? Haha, you must be kidding!"
