Reflection on bondage

A Reflection of bondage:

For my first posting on the website of T.U.G’s that I have been keeping a close eye upon for a year now: I have decided that my first talk on here was going to be about the “love of bondage”. It is something that caught my eye and even tough we know we love it we often don’t know why or at least most people I’ve asked to don’t.

Now as a personal reflexion work the examples in this text are based upon my personal point of view of bondage and experiences. To each their own can complete my words and add their ideas on the subject and propose a new view. But here’s the question: Why doo we love bondage?

Now lets start by the easiest explanation I have seen and came across in many kinds. Some people like bondage mostly in the bedroom because it’s “sexy” and gives us lust. Now it’s not a bad thing at all. I myself find it a good and simple argument. Some of us only like being bound and gagged tightly to be abused and overpowered. To have this feeling of weakness and vulnerability as to be in someone else control. Lust in indeed a factor in bondage and fetishism in general and it’s an easy way to explain why we enjoy such a kink and yet a very valid reason: “it feel good”.

Now another case I’ve witnessed is bondage for the sake of bondage. I won’t go into complex terms and names. I’ll only go saying what it is and why I think it is. Bondage for the sake of bondage is people who enjoys being tied up and restrained for what the sensation of truly being stuck or incapable of moving is. It is not a lustful pleasure and is more complex than the example I’ve given before. But I’ve already studied a friend who likes to be tied up to feel secured.
Form here own words: she feels secured important protected and looked upon. It is quite true that in bondage play the trust between the captor and captive is important. The feeling of being watched and becoming the full center of attention of a person is quite pleasing. It is mostly the case with sensory deprivation bondage I believe.

But that was only a short share of my personal reflexion about bondage. There is many more examples and many more interesting things to say. Yourself take a look in your kinks and ask yourself why doo you fancy it? Also if you have other examples you would like to share comment down below! And once again: “thank you for reading!”

Very interesting read!
For me personally, beyond the lust, I enjoy bondage for a few reasons. The trust I put into my captor while I am completely helpless is unlike any level of trust I have for anyone in my life. I have a hard time telling others I like to be tied up, let alone letting them tie me up.
Being completely tied up and unable to move can be quite relaxing. No choice but to remain still, often in the dark and/or silence. Not not have to think or worry about anything else in the world at that moment, I find that to be very tranquil.
I also love the challenge. When I’m tied up, I like to struggle and try my hardest to escape. If I succeed, I Fee pride for accomplishing my goal. Fail, and I get to enjoy staying tied up for who knows how much longer.

Great first post! Welcome to the board officially! :)

I like bondage because there is such a great feeling of helplessness and having someone being in complete control of you. I also like latex and everyone looks great in a tight black shiny catsuit. It shows how beautiful a body is.
