Fuck, fuck fuck et merde ! Just heard that Robin Williams passed away. I'm so sad right now, I feel like I've lost a favorite Uncle or something or like Santa is dead... "To die would be a grand adventure" RIP Peter pan
To quote someone on another message board: "He was one of those rare actors who could be either funny or serious equally well. It's so sad that someone who brought laughter to so many couldn't find happiness himself."
It was once said of his acting and comedic style: "You can't direct Robin Williams; you can only turn him loose."
RIP indeed.
Words, like Nature, half reveal and half conceal the soul within.
Neither Peter Pan nor Robin Williams will ever die. They both live on forever in our minds, hearts and in the smiles of each new generation discovering them for the first time.
If you believe in yourself enough - nobody else will figure out you're faking it.
I to am saddened at the loss of the great Robin Williams.I grew to love his comedy when he play Mork from Ork and loved Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting, and other movies I can not remember right now, too sad. May his family find the strength to help each other through this sad loss. R I P Robin.
I have lost many friends due to suicide It never gets any easier, Sadly I've lost one more .I had the honor of meeting Robin Williams at few USO shows over the years he also made a point to personally shake each troops hand thanking us personally for what we did a truly wonderful man who could make you smile on the darkest days.
All I can say is this .. remember the good times as I shall for ever hold dear the few good memories I had meeting this wonderful man His actions are known only to him he is at peace now
So as some of you may know Robin Williams was an avid gamer with a great love for both the legend of Zelda and world of Warcraft.
The creators of world of Warcraft have decided to immortalize William's through a character in their games after a fan petition. From the looks of it he's going to be a storyteller in an ingame inn.
A same petition is being held for Robin William's to appear as an npc in the next Zelda game.
Many years ago I saw a video of an unknown comic doing improvisational skits with objects that he had never seen before they were handed to him. He was brilliant. Years later I saw the same man, Robin Williams, enjoying fame and fortune. He hadn't changed; not even a little. His path to success was to start out by doing what he loved and to not stray from that path as his fame increased. He will be missed.
