"P-princess Aeon!" The short, sharply dressed man said as she approached. He began to kneel, but she shook her head and told him to remain standing, her long, straight brown hair flowing elegantly with her movement. The man stepped aside, allowing the young princess, Serena, entrance into his establishment, a well known tavern by the name of " Corrigan's: New Aeon's finest." She sat on one of the small stools by the main bar, her black dress, usually cut just above her knees, slid up slightly. She ordered a moderately expensive beverage and waited, leaning on the freshly cleaned, glistening glass bar table in front of her. She looked into her reflection, pushed her hair over one of her beautiful brown eyes, and let a soft smile. She rarely got the chance to be this free, being that she was made to run her parent's country one day. Eventually her drink was delivered.
"Quite the expensive tastes you have there, hon," spoke a woman sitting next to her. She had short hair, dyed a deep blue, and wore a black hoody and skinny jeans.
"Usually no one can afford a drink like that. You must have a damn good job, hon," she said.
"Not exactly," Serena replied.
"Hah. Than you must be pampered. What are your parents rich or something, and you get all the dough?" The woman laughed.
"Actually.. I am Princess Serena Aeon, eldest daughter to the Aeon family," she said I'm a dignified yet still respectful tone. The woman gasped lightly, turning to look at Serena. She hadn't lifted her view the entire conversation.
"M-my princess! Please forgive my rudeness," she spoke quickly.
"No worries... 'Hon'. It's fine," said Serena. The woman looked back down, and smirked slightly.
"No no must make it up to you. Please. Come to my home tonight hon. I'll cook you something. I insist," she said and stood up. She was rather short but had well defined curves.
"A-alright then. I'll go with you," said Serena, before standing as well. They walked out of the building together.
"Oh and by the way.. The names Valentine. It's a pleasure to meet you love," she said, as she shook Serena's hand, letting another smirk.
