Halloween Sleepover (age 9) 0ct 31 1991 Thursday

Time for another tug story from my past . As you may be able to tell from the first line I have more details on this one then I did the last ones. This story takes place a little over a year from my last one. A few things have changed since then, for starters I no longer needed the leg braces on my chair but I still need the chair to get around. I was getting accustomed to my new life and friends. Between this and my last story the guys and I learned a few things first was that I never lived to far from them, second was with a little work we could get along fine, Third I was not always the most outgoing and forth their was more of them so it was not a problem to drag me with them. Oh almost forgot if you go trick or treating with some one in a wheelchair we get more candy all around,

The story starts after school on Halloween, the school had decided that they would make it a long weekend. So we never had school for the next day and could go out trick treating for a bit longer. Marks parents said we could have a sleepover that night. So the guys had decided we well go to Adams home after school and later that evening we world trick and treat our way to Marks. Since I had to go straight home after school I showed up a little after when I had a ride there. Now at this time I well like to say I was never one for trick or treating but I liked dressing up in costumes so I was willing to go out just for fun. So I arrived at Adams a little bit before we had planed to go out. I was all ready dressed in my costume. I was going out as Alice who was (and still is) my favorite book character. Once I'm dropped off with my bag for the night Adams mom shows me to where the guys are. Once we enter the garage where they were working on some thing I cant help but to have a bit of a laugh for what I saw truly was a funny site. Their in middle of the room was a over turned bike with a pirate (Mike) a cowboy (Mark) and a ninja turtle (Adam) around it. After a bit of a laugh I finally ask them what they were doing. At witch time I'm told that the bike was squeaking a bit so they were putting some oil on it. I made a comment that maybe later we could put some oil on my chair because one of the wheels was squeaking a bit as well. I never got a answer back so I just watched them tell we where ready to go. Once we had gathered what we were taking with us we headed out for some trick or treating.
Let's use all the colors.
Dust 'em, Pix!
Yup! That tasted purple!
