Gags and Springtime allergies

As I'm sure you're all aware Springtime is now in full effect. And we all know what that means. Yes sir, lots of pollen, sniffling, sneezing, nasal congestion, Claritin commercials, and general loss of will to live.

With both of my nasal passages out of commission, I am left to face a few problems. Aside from having to alternate eating, drinking, and breathing through my mouth, it also hinders my ability to use a gag. And my nose wasn't that great before (can only breath out of one nostril). With the added allergens, any sort of gagging during self-bondage is effectively put on hold for three months every year.

Does anybody else have trouble with this? How do you deal with it? I suppose I could just take allergy medicine, but I don't want to tie and gag myself knowing that my ability to breathe hinges on whatever was cheapest at Walgreen's. At the corner of happy and healthy.

So, do I just hold off for the foreseeable future? I don't do self-bondage much, so it's not a big deal. I just know that for some of you out there bondage is a frequent routine/hobby, so I'm sure you've found some way to keep it from affecting you.

Allergy pills work great on me. You can add some spray But careful with what you Pick cause Common OTC anti-congestion are not to be used frequently unless you want to irreversibly damage your nose.
Im currently using a spray that is a mix of anti-histaminic and corticosteroid and works great. Of course verify not to have any condition that could be worsened by the use of said drugs.

I have no idea why, but I have found that breathing rubbing (isopropal) alcohol fumes clears the nasal passages. It works for me, but I don't know if it will work for anyone else. Worth a try, though. A pint of alcohol is usually less than a dollar at most drug stores. And even if it doesn't work, it's still handy to have around for an antiseptic, and for cleaning up duct tape residue.
