We had a campus event dedicated for fire fighters, police officers, and paramedics at The University of Texas at San Antonio. There was booths and games regarding safety. There was an interactive movie playing about the 2003 Rhode Island Station Fire that killed people, and how we should respond to that. There was a booth where we got to stand inside a stimulation pod of a tornado, and other fun activities, but my favorite one was the photo opportunity inside a police car. Being 20, and interested in tugs, I asked the police officer if he could handcuff me, and put me in the back of the patrol car for a picture, and to my surprise and joy, he agreed. He told me to turn around and put my hands behind my back. I did. He took my right wrist and cuffed it behind my back, then did the same with my left wrist. He double locked it, and put me in the back seat. Now, normally, toy handcuffs is easy to break out for me, but he was using real handcuffs, and I could not escape, and I could barely move my hands, and if I did, it was mere inches. It was a fun experience, even though it lasted only five minutes. I got to go to the front seat to play with the sierns, horn, radio, and video. The thing is, if you ask for something, you may receive it.
