What do girls like to see in a guy?

Postby teachertied » Wed Nov 07, 2012 11:11 am

I hate to double post, but I thought this could go in this sub-forum as well...

Ok, so, seeing as my school has recently changed the sixth form into a co-educational sixth form, I will be spending much more time with girls Which should be good, right? Well, my question is, do girls like the stereo typical "stud" guy, or do they prefer intellectual guys, who are just nice, no strings attached. For example, I play the clarinet, I play rugby and some other sports, I speak french and bits of other languages and I love English and the Sciences, although most things intellectual will interest me.

As far as looks go, I wouldn't say I was the sexiest guy you will every meet, but I am not ugly either, so looks don't particularly matter in this scenario...

To conclude, would a girl rather be friends, or even more, with a guy that acts all "cool" or with a guy who is nice to them, and will make them a cup of tea or whatever, such as the person I like to think I am...

Which is best to get into a situation where a tug may be applicable...

N.B I may come across as a little odd in this post, but I swear I am nice!

P.S Preferably I would like girls to respond, however if guys have an opinion then I would love to hear it!

Thank you in advance

Well, i am a male who is currently in my last year of 6th form.

What i say is, their is not one way to define them all in 1 go. You can in lower years but at this age people tend to show their true selves and what they are truly like. in doing so, then you cant really say what they will all like. Some go for people who are smart and will look after them while others go for compleat and utter annoying gits but they find them funny and nice to be with. It all depends on the person, and it is bad for you to change how you act or what sides of them that you let them see just to try to get into a relationship, as they will soon learn what you are really like anyway.

So, just be yourself and hopefully someone will notice you and will like you for how you are, and not for who you make yourself to be. This way it will be a lot better in the long term and will be a very good foundation for a relationship.

In saying all of this....remember don't be compleatly open still.....e.g. like being tied up.... I would say (and some will probably disagree) that girls like their to be a mystery in people, but mainly as its quite something to admit to, and if they don't get it it could put them of you at first, until they get to know you for who you are.

p.s. Just for the record, I am single, got my eye on a couple of nice people but my social skills let me down a lot and I have not even made my interest public to my best friends.... But I am very observent and sit their thinking a lot, so I do anylise people a lot and their is really no pattern between them, even in the same social groups.
Oh, a TUG! Do I have to play alone?

As someone who is attracted to males, I do feel it is different. There are some who I am attracted and others not really. I find green eyes to be the most attractive. I also notice a trend in track/cross country runners in the list of people I'm attracted to. There are girls in my school who would think the football(American football) players are hotter, but I don't find more than one or two catch my eye. It's different for everyone. What's more important is that you don't change to attract a girl. Because if you have to be someone else to get a relationship, eventually either you won't be happy with yourself or you'll get caught and things will start to fall apart.
