Handcuff Problems

It's all about experience! You'll learn by heart where to put the key in a couple of tries, even if you're blindfolded!

I suggest that you spend some time trying to uncuff your hands behind your back before you engange in any difficult situation! Handcuffs are tricky, be careful because you may easily stuck in an uncofortable position. I once spend A LOT of time trying to uncuff myself while hogcuffed, only because i was fool enough to not know EXACTLY where the keyholes were. It turned to be pretty annoying, and terrifying
For long you live and high you fly
And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be...

Do me a favor too. Take the extra key and tie it on a string and then tie it to one wrist. Don't plan on using it, but in some situations if the original slips out of your fingers onto the floor or worse, you'll be glad it's there. Also don't ever use toy handcuffs, they jam.
If you believe in yourself enough -
nobody else will figure out you're faking it.

All that is good advice. Also, just practice practice practice. Here's what I think:

Cuff your hands in front of you with the keyholes facing your fingers, and use the key to unlock them. Do that a few times to get used to the FEEL of the key going in the keyhole.

Then do it a few times in front with one of the cuffs turned around so the keyhole is facing away from your fingers. See if it's any harder to unlock that one. For some people it is, others it's just as easy. When that gets easy, do it with both keyholes facing away .

Next cuff your hands in front but very loosely. Then see if you can STEP THROUGH, that means while cuffed move your hands under your feet then up behind you, so you're now cuffed behind your back. If you can do that, that's a good way to practice using the key while they're behind you, cause if you get stuck and can't open them, then you can still bring your hands back around to the front and then take them off.
