Who's performance is more important

Postby spd138 » Tue Jan 24, 2017 10:13 am

Question for all bondage lovers on here. When having a bondage session or TUG who's performance in more important for a good time? We all know the are two main roles a dom and a sub or a top and bottom. Since tugs are games both parties are in on and both and playing a part to a degree who's performance do you find more important for a good go.

Do you feel a dom giving a good tourcher tease etc can make up for a sub off his or her game?

Or

Do you feel a sub giving great reactions to a dom off his or her game makes up for the off dom?

Personally I feel it the sub that can carry the tug best. If the knots are loose the sub can be sure they stay in place. If the whip is limp or tickling is not effective the sub can fake it until the dom makes it. On the other hand if the sub is off the lack of good reaction kills the mood and poor knots slip off and kill the atmosphere.

What are your thought???

If your sub doesn't give good enough reactions, then make him/her  That's why you're a dom.
War, war never changes.

I don't think a sub should fake a scene
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

I think chemistry is important here, depending on how well you know the person in my opinion makes it that much better. Especially if theyre someone you cant see doing/being in bondage just makes it that much better

The sub should certainly not fake his reactions. Both Dom and sub need to behave genuinely, so they can trust each other and help each other to become better in their roles. If the sub doesn't tell the Dom that the knots are too loose, the Dom will not be able to improve himself. Similarly, if the Dom doesn't tell the sub that he shouldn't move while the Dom is trying to tie him up, then it might not work in the way the Dom intended and they might end up with knots that are too loose. Communication is more important than the performance of either Dom or sub.

For this I was talking about an established relationship. A dom and a sub that do this regularly but one I just off his or her game. Want to play but need an extra little bit to get them going

What I was going or is a established dom and sub already comfortable with each other and their roles. I talking about things maybe getting old or one person needs extra push to get going. Like any relationship things can get old and thing need to get refreshed. So who in their role can offer the most to refresh things

Agreed.

I have very little to say on this subject.
I for one, don't adhere to the concept of "performing." However, that's probably only due to me not playing the types of bondage games most guys and girls on here are used to playing. But since were talking about Doms/Tops and subs/bottoms, I figured I'd have a go at joining this discussion.

I only like to play with natural subs, meaning that during the actual bondage and/or active domination, there's no acting or "performing" involved.
Unlike putting on a costume, preparing to act out another personae or getting ready to perform theater, the games I play involve shedding away every day public "restraints" and unveiling core behavior between natural Dominant and submissive. In other words, I simply dispense with the every day courtesies and show off my inner self.

There's no performance involved. I do my thing and the sub responds in the only natural way he knows.
If he acts defiantly, I act in kind. If he acts submissively, my responses and way of going about things MAY also change, depending on my mood.
I don't act out of sorts and neither does he, 'cause when I play, it's not a role I'm putting on.

That being said, as a Dom, I'm the one who has control over whether or not the sub enjoys his experience and whether or not he will be able to look back fondly upon it. So my "role" is definitely the more important one. Of course, this DOESN'T apply to Dominant/submissive relationships, only to actual bondage and domination sessions. In a Dominant/submissive couple, both parts are as important and vital to each other.

Beyond doing as told, I have no expectations from a sub during a bondage/domination session. Initiatives can be good, but most good subs know that there's always a risk of displeasing the Dom in showing too much initiative. Initiatives can either come off as cute or as disobedient. It's always a gamble for the sub.

Then again, there are very few Doms and subs on here. Most of the active members seem to be somewhere in the middle, enjoying both ends of the rope so-to-speak, so it's of no surprise that what I wrote only applies to a small minority of tuggers on this site.
