Petra the Pirate (F/F, M/F)

Postby LordNelson » Fri Apr 11, 2014 3:15 pm

When Petra was waiting in line at the grocers check out she noticed a poster and some entry forms for a contest. She filled one out and dropped it into the draw box. The poster was for a new movie and she was hoping to win a few free passes to the cinema. Had she read the instructions more closely she would have known that the prize was not free admission. In fact the movie had not even been made yet.

When she got a call to tell her she was one of the winners she was stunned to find out what her prize was. She was flying, all expenses paid, to St. Vincent in the Caribbean Islands. The trip would take place in January making it an ideal winter vacation.

As a publicity stunt Disney Studios was giving contestants the opportunity to actually be in the film. Winners would be flown to the shooting location and be cast as extras. Each winner would be on set for one day so with the flight to and from St. Vincent it amounted to a brief three day tropical get-away.

A week later Petra received a parcel by post that had more details. Because of the flexibility of the shooting schedule they could not tell her what she would actually be doing; it would depend on what was being shot that day. Most extras just appear in the background of group shots as part of the crowd. Some extras may, depending on need, have more or less time on camera than others. None will have speaking parts but all are guaranteed to appear on screen for at least a few seconds.

Petra was very excited but not for the obvious reasons one might imagine. A free Caribbean holiday was great and the chance to be in a major motion picture was amazing but Petra had something else on her mind. The opportunity to walk barefoot on a tropical beach with the waves washing over her toes was like a dream coming true for her. There was no guarantee that the movie even had a beach scene but she could always hope; why else would they shoot on an island?

Her tickets arrived just before Christmas and her flight was leaving January 6th. In those two weeks she nervously packed and repacked her bag a dozen times.

When her flight landed late in the afternoon an air conditioned bus took her and several other winners and crew members to the shoot location. They would be no five star hotel or room service but she did have her own small trailer right on a remote beach. She had the remainder of the day to herself; tomorrow she was on set.

The rest of that afternoon and into the evening she walked the seashore so many times that she would have worn a path into it had not the waves erased any trace of her footsteps. She took a few short swims but preferred to spend most of the time she had on the beach. For Petra there was no better way to discover a new world than with her feet.

She squished the damp sand between her toes, her soles felt the slipperiness of clamoring over wet rocks and she buried her feet in mounds of mushy seaweed that had washed ashore. While the others spent most of their time motionless working on their tans Petra explored all the beach had to offer.

Once the days’ shooting was done the cast and crew assembled under a large canopy for supper. It was a casual atmosphere and there was no assigned seating. Petra had a costume fitter on one side and a stuntman on the other. The conversation around the tables was dominated mostly by tomorrows schedule and a number of technical problems that they were anticipating because the shots were all outdoors.

Fortunately for Petra neither of her companions had any involvement in the planning and both of them spent their time flirting with her. As a result she was able to find out a lot about the movie. It was called Pirates of the Caribbean. Disney was taking a gamble and making a pirate movie, a genre which had been out of fashion for many years.

The male leads were being played by Johnny Depp and fellow Brit Orlando Bloom. Petra was hoping to meet them but was told by her dinner companions that it wasn’t likely as they usually stayed in their trailers when they weren’t on camera.

The really exciting news for Petra was that the female lead was an upcoming new young actress by the name of Keira Knightley. The world hadn’t heard of her yet but Petra knew of her through numerous television appearances in Britain and a few minor movie roles. This was to be her first starring role. Petra was a fan and decided that she would do her best to try and meet Keira.

After the meal there was a briefing for Petra and the other contest winners. She was enjoying the flirtatious attention she was getting from her dinner companions but she had to excuse herself. The briefing was given by the director, Gore Verbinski, himself.

In the morning Petra was to report to the costume department. All of the contest winners would be playing the part of pirates in the background. The days shooting would involve some brief shots of the crew going about their duties on the deck of the ship. The main focus of the day was an important shot of the pirates landing on the beach. The shot was to be made with natural light so every aspect had to be critically planned. He emphasized this because they would be in the shot and had to pay close attention to his direction because there would not be an opportunity for more than one or two reshoots.

After the meeting it was getting late but Petra took one more walk on the beach before turning in.
In the morning she was up early and took a swim before the call to breakfast. Everyone was reminded to have a good breakfast as the next meal would not be for at least six hours. After eating she went for her costume fitting and makeup.

Make-up consisted of some simple smudges to make her face and hands look dirty. She was fitted with a wig of long dirty blond curls that went well past her shoulders. A long red scrap of material was tied around her forehead and the end trailed down her back almost to her waist.

Petra learned something about movies she had not considered before. The fancy, sexy costumes are worn only by the stars. Background characters are dressed in dull, dirty, raggedy outfits so that they don’t distract from the main characters.

Petra’s costume was a billowing knee length skirt made up of numerous layers of rags, a tight tunic with a laced up front and a pair of rough leather shoes. The shoes hurt her feet and she discreetly slipped them back into the shoe bin and went barefoot. If anyone noticed and objected she would put them back on but until then her toes were back into the sand.

The early morning shots went quickly. Several short shots were done on deck. Petra was pulling on a rope in one shot and climbing rigging in another. Then there was an extended break while cameras were set up for the main shot of the day.

The shot involved the pirates landing on the beach in row boats. It seemed simple enough but it had to be done basically in one take. Because natural lighting was being used any delays or reshoots would be affected by changing shadows due to the movement of the sun.

The landing was staged several times to make sure that each camera was properly positioned. Each person in the shot, including Petra, had to practice climbing out of the boats so that no one would stumble and ruin the take. Once they landed they had to walk a short distance up the beach. It was vital that everyone was perfectly in position so that the stars were center stage but all of the contest winners could be seen in the background.

Several run-throughs were done without the stars as they remained out of the scorching sun in their air conditioned trailers. The actual shot would be done after lunch when the sun would be at the best angle which left time for one more run through. This time the director called for the stage manager and asked him to get stand-ins for the main characters.

Stand-ins are used to take the place of the stars for camera placement. Once the proper placement is determined marks are put on the ground and the stars then know where to stand. The stage manager suggested using the contest winners as stand-ins. Petra would be standing in for Keira as she was the only woman on set. She was thrilled to be considered a replacement, even though it was only temporary, for the star she was hoping to meet.

When the director lifted his head from checking his notes he noticed Petra standing front and center. ‘She won’t do’ he bellowed ‘she’s shorter than Keira!’ Petra saw her big moment slipping away and shouted back at him ‘I make up for it by having bigger tits!’ Everyone, including the director, burst into laughter. After a moment, when things settled down again, he said ‘You’ve made your point stay there.’

Everyone got back into the boats and paddled off shore to run through the entire scene. Petra was beaming with excitement as she sat in Keira’s spot in the boat. As the boats approached shore a voice called out ‘It’s no good that way.’

Everyone looked up and there was Keira Knightley. ‘I’m supposed to be tied up in this scene. Someone is going to have to help me out of the boat. If you don’t set it up the way it is written it won’t work.’

The director agreed and the boat was pulled up to the beach while the props master went for the rope. Keira came down to the boat. Petra was smiling from ear to ear. The day just kept getting better. She had gone from bare foot on the beach, to movie extra, to stand in. Now not only was she about to meet Keira but she was going to be tied up at her suggestion.

‘You don’t mind being tied up?’ she asked Petra. ‘Not at all’ she replied in a voice that she realized may have sounded a little too eager. Keira leaned towards her and in a quiet voice asked ‘Would you like to be gagged too?’ Petra was speechless but the excitement on her face said it all. Keira called to the props master ‘Don’t forget the gag.’

He was about to tell her that a run through shot really didn’t require a gag when he saw the way she was looking at him. He put his clipboard down and found a suitable scarf.

In a few minutes Petra was headed back out to sea, bound and gagged. The run through went perfectly and the director called for a lunch break; shooting would resume in an hour.

As the props master approached Petra to untie her for lunch Keira stepped up and said ‘I’ll take care of that. I’m the reason she’s tied up so I should be the one to let her loose.’ He turned quickly and hustled away with the rest of the crew.

Petra held her wrists out towards Keira but instead of untying her she hooked a finger through the ropes and pulled. ‘Come with me’ she said ‘have lunch with me in my trailer.’ Keira led her along a path up the sand dunes towards the trailer. As it turned from sand to gravel Petra began to walk a bit slower. ‘You poor dear’ said Keira ‘you’re bare foot. Now I’m dragging you from cool wet sand to hot rocks. I have just the thing to fix you up in my trailer.’

When they arrived at the door Keira paused a moment and then said ‘I have a special treat for you but I want it to be a surprise.’ She bent down and tore off a long strip from Petra’s skirt. She blindfolded her and then opened the door and helped her up the stairs. She guided Petra to a chair.
Petra sat down and then Keira pulled up another chair. She lifted Petra’s legs and slipped the chair under. Petra could hear Keira open a cupboard and a moment later a cold cream touched the sole of her sore feet. She twitched at the chilly sensation. ‘We can’t have that’ said Keira ‘you need to sit still.’

She tore two more strips off of Petra’s skirt. Then she moved the chair Petra’s legs were resting on so that her feet stuck out through the back of it. She tied each ankle to the rungs of the back with the strips. Petra was so excited she had goose bumps at the thought of a beautiful young movie star rubbing her feet with lotion while she was helplessly tied up, gagged and blindfolded.

A pair of gentle hands began rubbing the soothing cream into her foot. The hands caressed her heels, the palms rubbed her soles and the fingertips darted between her toes. It was heaven. A second cool squirt of lotion on the other foot was followed by the same treatment. Petra moaned with pleasure through the gag as she slumped down in the chair with pleasure.

The sensations generated by her feet sent waves of warm delight through her body. It was then that she realized something. Both feet were being massaged! There was another person in Keira’s trailer. She began to consider the possibilities of who it could be but before she could make a reasonable guess a third pair of hands touched her. At that moment she wished she wasn’t blindfolded; the mystery was too much.

The third pair began massaging her shoulders and then moved to her neck. The fingers rubbed the sides while the thumbs worked into the back. Petra tipped her head forward and the hands firmly kneaded her tense muscles. Petra could feel that the hands had the slender fingers of a woman. The only other female on site besides her was Keira. Who was rubbing her feet?

The neck massage stopped and Petra felt a tug at the knot of her blindfold. When it fell away she couldn’t believe what she saw. Looking back and smiling at her were Orlando and Johnny. They continued working on her feet and Keira started again on her neck.

‘How do you like your surprise’ said Keira. ‘Every day these two guys wait for me in my trailer. When I show up they tie me up and play with my feet. I thought today I would give them a bit of variety. You can tell by the smiles on their faces that they like the surprise I brought for them too.’

Keira undid the gag and for the remainder of the lunch hour the three stars took turns feeding her and playing with her feet. When they heard the call to return to the set they untied her and the four of them hustled back to the beach. Keira let Petra carry the rope and the gag.

After another half hour of preparation they were ready to make the shot. When the time came Petra was the one who bound and gagged Keira. They got into the boats, paddled out and then when the director called “action” they paddled back in with the cameras rolling.

The boats reached the beach and everyone clamored out. The rag-tag group of pirates escorted their captive onto the beach. Petra stood just behind the stars at the front of the group of buccaneers. The shot went perfectly and when it was done the director called “cut”. Then he said ‘we’re going to do it one more time while we still have good light.’ He looked directly at Petra and told her ‘You with the big tits; stand at the back of the group this time. Your chest is drawing attention away from my stars.’

Petra blushed and a gagged Keira winked at her and they did it over again. When the director called “cut” this time he followed it with ‘great, that’s a wrap. It’s getting too hot to work; call it a day people.’

It became total confusion after that. The crew began dismantling the cameras and the microphone booms. Set assistants began to collect props for storage. It seemed like everyone had something to do or somewhere to go. The publicity manager came to get Petra and the two of them went looking for the other contestants for a final meeting.

As Petra looked around she noticed that Johnny and Orlando were leading Keira away, still bound and gagged, towards the trailers. She wanted so much to join them but she had to go to the meeting first.

Once they were all together they were briefed on the plans for departure tomorrow morning right after a final breakfast with the crew. They were thanked for their contributions to the movie and given a packet of various souvenirs. As soon as the meeting was adjourned Petra made her way to the trailers hoping she would be welcome again.

When she got there she could hear muffled laughter. She peeked in a window and saw Keira hogtied and gagged on the floor. Johnny and Orlando sat on either side of her bare feet tickling them with feathers from their costumes. Petra decided it would be best not to intrude. As she was about to leave an arm wrapped around her pinning her arms to her sides and a hand clamped tightly over her mouth. She was dragged off to a spot in the nearby bushes.

Once there she was released and turned to face her kidnapper. It was Geoffrey Rush, the most acclaimed actor in the movie. ‘I wanted to sit with you at lunch’ he said ‘and when you didn’t show up I went looking for you. I peeked in the window just as you did now and watched while you and they had fun. When I saw you leave after the shoot I followed you up here and could see the disappointment in your face that they had left you out this time. I know it’s presumptuous of me but if you let me I think I can make your last evening here a memorable one.’

Petra looked at him, standing there in full costume as Captain Barbossa, and decided that he did look rather menacing and menacing was what she needed right now. She ripped three more strips off of her skirt, handed them to him and turned her back. He bound her hands behind her, blindfolded her and gagged her. He led her off to his trailer.

Several hours later after a skillful massage, a delicious supper and a chilled bottle of wine, all while delightfully bound, Petra took one last walk on the beach. Tomorrow it would be back to the cold and snow of home but for now she was in paradise. She wiggled her feet until they were buried in the wet sand and stood there watching the moon beginning to peek above the horizon.

I remember watching that movie with the wife and thinking how is Keira Nightly the most masculine member of this cast?
There's always time for a nice cup of tea.

Hello Cpt. Wiggles

Miss Knightley is the latest example of the "strong woman syndrome" that has swept the entertainment industry. Movies, TV shows, video games, etc. are all populated by women who are every bit as tough or tougher than the men around them. When I was young the only reason to have a woman in an action show was so that she could become a helpless damsel in distress for the male hero to rescue.

Every week I would look forward to cop shows such as Hunter or TJ Hooker which featured beautiful women officers that more often than not found themselves bound and gagged and waiting to be rescued. For a young TUGger it was a weekly slice of heaven. Over the years the depiction of women has changed tremendously which is a good thing in terms of creating role models for young girls but it has left a gap for people like us.

Modern shows such as CSI and Criminal Minds have no shortage of tied up victims, both male and female, but they usually end up a bloody corpse which has no appeal to me and I'm sure not to most other TUGgers either. The days of last minute rescues have been replaced by forensic teams looking for blood and hair samples and DNA.

Forgive me if I seem to be ranting but the trend towards graphic violence and dead or traumatized victims is not what I find entertaining. Give me the old days where there was no hint that a trussed up captive was in any danger; all they had to do was sit tight and "mmph" a lot until the good guys showed up.

I know what you mean Lord Nelson, this is the sort of thing I grew up with

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9hpp1 ... shortfilms

I have no problem with strong women, my wife is one such person. The type Beyonce sings about: "Strong Independent Woman".

Or pain-in-the-arse, as I call her.
There's always time for a nice cup of tea.
