Part 9 -
Jerry, with Kyle and Steve in tow, began following the trail the three girls had made.
Steve had heard them discuss where to go next, and Katie had mentioned her neighbour Randy.
Jerry knew Katie's older sister, Millie, and thought he'd be able to talk to her.
So they arrived at Katie's house and Jerry knocked on the door.
Millie opened the door, wearing a short skirt, tights and a tank top. She grinned.
"Hey, handsome. Come to serenade me again?"
Jerry blushed, reminded of the time two years ago he had come to Millie's window to sing her a song.
"That was one time, Millie. Please don't remind me of it."
Millie giggled.
"Why not? I thought it was cute." She hugged Jerry. "Anyway, why have you come?"
"I'm looking for your sister, Katie, and my cousin. Have they been here?"
Millie's entire demeanor changed. "Maybe they have," she said, positioning her body to block the door. "What of it?"
Jerry sighed. "I need to find them. They're going on a rampage."
Millie smiled.
"Come on in, then. You need to see something."
She led Jerry inside and up the stairs.
Jerry tried not to be distracted by the swaying of her hips.
Finally, they reached a room and Millie tripped him.
Smiling, she straddled his chest and pointed to the bed behind him, to which a boy was tied.
"See him?" Millie said. "That's how you'll end up if you keep up this pursuit. You're lucky I like you, otherwise you'd be tied to my bed right now."
"I have to do this, Millie," Jerry said. "I have to stop them."
Millie sighed. "I'll let you go...if you agree to a date after all this is over."
Jerry stared. Then he grinned. "Sure. Did my serenading work then?"
Millie smirked. "You could say that." She stood up. "Now, off with you. The girls talked about targeting this bully in Honey's neighbourhood next." She smirked again. "If you're lucky, Katie will get you and bring you back to me!"
