Hey Everybody
I figure its about time I write another story for this board. I've written a few things since my last set of stories, but I consider them all too personal to post here. The problem is, I have a couple of ideas for a new story and I really like both of them. So I'd like your opinion!
Option 1: In 1927 New York, a beautiful, vivacious newspaper columnist by the name of Chelsea Martin leaves a speakeasy (Nightclub) just before it is busted by prohibition agents. Somewhat inebriated, she foolishly decides to investigate a quarrel between two gangsters on a side street and is hit over the head. When she comes to, she finds herself bound and gagged in a warehouse full of whiskey. After dealing with her captors and getting tired of waiting for her incompetent male suitors to rescue her, she takes matters into her own hands.
If anybody is familiar with Prohibition history and/or has seen Ken Burn's documentary on the subject, I based this character entirely on Lois Long.
Option 2: Present Day. A popular, talented and highly egotistical guy named Sebastian Baker leaves a bar with his latest romantic conquest and takes her to the park. There, he is attacked by an unknown assailant and knocked out with a stun gun. He awakes handcuffed to a pole in a basement. He quickly realizes that his captor is female but he can't see her face and she doesn't speak a word. As the hours pass the extrovert starts to go stir crazy. After an undetermined amount of time he is blindfolded and when it is removed he is facing a second bound captive. While not inclined to like each other, they are forced to work together to escape.
So, there they are. Which story would you prefer to be told? Or more likely, which story would like to be told first?
