Another 10-year-old might, but you'd be better off staying within or near your own age group, say 7-14. When I was young, my friends and I frequently played games that involved getting tied up, but most of us were between 10 and 14. We had the occasional neighborhood 9 or 15 year old, but they were infrequent.

The most popular game was a version of "Hide and Go Seek," where "It" was loosely tied, and the rest of us had until he got out, to run and hide. (The reason he was loosely tied, was because we wanted him to get loose and come and chase us.) When we were caught (usually by pulling a bandana or scout neckerchief from our belts), we were taken to the base, and tied up. If we could get loose, we got back in the game. If not, we sat at the base, tied up, until the last player was caught, and the game began again. Rarely did anyone stay tied for more than 20 minutes.

Word of advice: Don't ever let anyone you don't know or trust, especially an adult, tie you up. I have said this before, but in case you missed it, TUG's are supposed to be fun for all involved. When it stops being fun, it becomes abuse, and that's never good.

I'm a little wary of this thread. Either this written by a savvy yet naive ten-year-old as the writer purports to be, or it's written by an older (likely much older) person tying to fish for contacts. In either case I see no possible good in allowing it to continue, so I'm locking this thread until i can figure whether to let it continue or delete it altogether.
