What is the pros and cons of having a child?
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

Why? You planning to have one? And why is this in Jump in the Fire?

Oh, well then congratulations.
Btw I'm not the mod who condensed your last post.
Anyway, I can't give you any advice on this since I've never even been married let alone fathered any children. Hopefully the married among us can step up and tell you about their experiences. All i can say though, make sure it's what you and your wife want. Parents who have kids they never wanted tend to make for rotten parents.
As for me, though i wish I could have had kids myself i think I've probably been happier without any because life is much simpler if you're single. Quite a lot lonelier too of course. I can deal with that, but I know many folks cannot.

I would suggest if you feel the need to ask this question, you are not ready yet. Don't ever have a child until you are 100% behind the idea without any doubt at all. It's not something to do because you feel like it.

So when you are 100% on board with the idea, you won't wonder what the pros and cons are.

Definitely a much better answer than mine.

Honestly, do you want a child or is it expected of you since you are married and possibly fertile?
