simple self tie

I decided to do a simple self bondage session today and this is how i did it.
equipment i used were:
-rope (2 lengths)
-a computer (laptop in my case)
-cd tray opener program installed on computer
-thin string
-handcuffs with 2 included keys
-cup filled with water

my laptop and bed are across the room from each other, and the ceiling lamp is in the middle of the room.

-make a short loop of string to hang off the ceiling lamp.
-tie one end of a long piece of string to ONE of the handcuff keys. feed the other end through the loop at the ceiling lamp, back down to the computer
- open the cd tray, and close it on the end of the string. the handcuff key should be hanging close to the ceiling lamp.
-just for insurance, manualy open the cd tray to make sure the keys drop to the ground. add weights to the keys if they don't drop freely.

-drop the other key into a cup filled with water and place it somewhere you can reach.
-this will be an emergency escape; trying to get the key out with your hands cuffed behind your back will likely result in spilling the water everywhere.

-tie one end of a length of rope to the handcuff chain. tie the other end of the rope to a stationary object (bed post)
-there should be enough rope between the stationary object and the handcuffs so you can just reach the keys once they drop. this will prevent you from simply walking/hopping to the computer and opening the cd tray.
-enter a specified time/ time period into the cd tray program. once time runs out, it will open the cd tray and the hanging key will drop to the ground.

-optional; tie your feet/legs together. apply any other items (gag, blindfold, etc...)
-cuff your hands behind your back. might as well lie on the bed for a while....not much else you can really do until those keys drop =D

:worried: just wondering how can be reliable a pc...
if I use the ice it seems (at least to me) 100% reliable so that I could not plan any 2nd escape chance... or am I reckless?? :big:

haha, two problems i have with ice; there's no space in my mini fridge to put an ice tray
and i NEED an escape route in case my house mates knock on the door and ask me to move my car for them =P

as for pc reliability; i'd say a laptop is best since it won't shut off if there's a power outage. just make sure it doens't go to sleep before the cd tray opener program activates :)
