Unusual handcuffs

Until now, all the cuffs I've seen were identical to each other. At a novelty shop I got these Fury 15960 cuffs. They use the typical universal key but there is no double lock on the cuff. That makes sense since they came with a protruding release lever and a double lock would defeat the purpose of that. At any rate, the release lever could be broken off with two sets of pliers (one a vice grip) and a lot of effort.

What makes these unusual is they are mirror images of each other. On both cuffs the key is turned towards the center of the cuff but in opposite directions.

That shop also had REAL stainless steel cuffs for $20. I only paid $10 for these but wish I had sprung for the real ones. Last night I had hogchained myself and was waiting for the padlock key to drop from an ice cup (cuff key was in another room about 11 meters away), but that time I had done everything "right". I had put some water in the bottom of the cup and let it freeze before adding the padlock (secures my feet and a loop of chain goes to my hands), the key was centered in the cup, and the twist ties on top that held it to a protruding rules went well into the cup. After over and hour and twenty minutes I was getting really uncomfortable and went to get the cuff key. Knowing there was no double lock I couldn't get on my back to move, but stayed on my stomach. Doing that skinned up my knee. Out of the cuffs, I hopped back to get the padlock key. The key was nowhere near getting ready to drop and probably had about thirty minutes or so left.
