I'd done my research and watched for a few days. Elizabeth, a beautiful young blonde out of southern Kentucky, was home alone in her college apartment for a weekend. One roommate was out of town and one had already left for the summer. The apartment was an entire floor and located at the end of a long, sloping driveway to a small parking lot where no one else could see the entrance from the street. In short, it was an unfortunate situation for the girl in question. As I watched her come home from the store, I noticed her, once again, leaving her door unlocked. I almost felt sorry for her...but not quite.
She was a pretty 21-year-old. Sort of short, with a fit body and toned muscles (I love a gym fanatic) and long blonde hair. She wore a pair of black-framed glasses and a gold Michael Kors watch, and today she had on some dark-wash jeans, a tan sweater, and brown boots.
As she made her last trip into the apartment with her bags, I checked my own duffel. I had several coils of coarse rope, a roll of grey duct tape and a few bandanas. As she closed the door I made my move, hurrying to the side of the door as she closed it. She did think to lock it finally, but it was an old key and I jiggled it open with a hair pin in a few seconds. I opened the door and saw that her back was to me as she put things in the fridge. I slid into the doorway of a room off to the left and waited for her to notice that the door was slightly ajar. It didn't take long.
"What in the heck," Elizabeth muttered in a thick Southern accent as she went to close the door. I jumped up behind her and slapped a hand over her mouth.
"Hmmmph!"
"Shhh, sweetheart," I leaned down to say in her ear. I unholstered my gun and set it against her temple. Thing wasn't even loaded, but that didn't matter to her. "Just be quiet and lock that door and we'll get settled."
I kept my hand tightly over her mouth and pulled her body closer to me as she closed the door. I walked her over behind the kitchen counter.
"Alright darling," I whispered to her. "I'm going to take my hand off your mouth and put away this gun. Just don't scream or do anything you'll regret and I'll be out of your life in 15 minutes."
Shaking, she nodded. I took my hand from her mouth and holstered my gun, then pushed her to the floor.
"Please," she said with a quavering voice. "Just take what you want. Don't hurt me."
"I don't plan on it," I said. "Just going to make sure you stay put." I took a coil of rope out of my bag and watched her go pale.
"No, no," she pleaded. "Please don't tie me up! I ain't going anywhere!"
"Quiet," I snapped at her. "Put your hands behind your back and shut up."
She was surprisingly calm as she did as I asked and I tied her wrists together, pushing her watch down on her wrist before tying her wrists above it by looping the rope around her wrists several times, tightening it on each pass, and then turning it to run it vertically over the coils. I cinched it tight and knotted it as she gasped slightly. I went around and did the same with her booted ankles as she averted her gaze from me. Now that she was tied hand and foot, there was only one last step...
I took out a long red and went over to the sink. I grabbed a sponge that looked sort of soapy but relatively dry, but you've got to work with what you've got, right? I crouched down next to her face and grabbed her chin, forcing her eyes towards me.
"Good job sweetie. Now open up."
"Uh-uh, no, don't gag me I won't scream or anything!" Her lower lip was shaking and I saw tears welling in her eyes behind her glasses.
"Sorry but I'm not falling for that again," I said as I pushed her cheeks together, opening her mouth. I stuffed the sponge in her mouth, almost making her gag, and noticed the soapy bubbles forming at the corners of her lips. I folded the bandana and cleave gagged her with it, moving behind her and tying it tightly behind her head. She gurgled at me and I saw more soap bubbles come down the front of the bandana as I pulled her head back against my chest, checking that the bandana was tight between her teeth.
"Hmmmmphh," she pleaded with me, tears dotting the corners of her eyes as I stood up to take a look at her place.
"Just hang out there, darlin'," I said to her as I swung my bag over my shoulder and walked away. "I'll be done in a flash!"
