Watched the first season. Thought it was decent but underwhelming. Will certainly watch season two though.

I prefer ''hear me roar!''

season 2 is really kick ass, but season 3 and 4 are based of the third book and that's where a huge amount of stuff happens. btw "hear me roar"? lannister scum. :D

Ugh...Lannister.
Haven't decided which house I'm in yet, but seriously, screw the Lannisters.
I haven't actually watched the show at all, but I am currently reading the books. Just started reading the second one, and so far I am freaking blown away.

I thought the Lannisters were doing that...

Except Tyrion Lannister. Compared to the others, he is a man of stature.

I just noticed that the continents, Westeros, Essex, Southron, and how simple all of them are named. Clever.

Amazing books, I dont want to wait for the final two! But hopefully the tv show will hurry the author along.

The show is pretty sweet, but as per usual it just cant measure up to the books. For those of you that watch and don't read, Season 3 should turn your world upside down.

Impatiant as i am i've started to not so legally get my hands on season two. Its pretty awesome so far.

Okay, so since starting book 3, I've put A LOT of thought into this.

I've decided that I don't belong to any house.

I'll be a sellsword. :)

Just watch the final of season two. Considering its still not even out here it should be, what? a small two years or so before i get to see the third :(

So who's your favorite character?

Re: Game of thrones.

Postby Blaise » Tue Jan 01, 2013 2:33 pm

The books are fantastic too. Favorite character without any doubt -- Arya!

Re: Game of thrones.

If you'll look at the post above you, I think it's pretty clear that my favorite character is Bronn. I just finished reading the third book and began the fourth, but Bronn's not featured as much in the books as the show. Jon Snow's also pretty badass. :)

Mine is, much to my surprise, the shady eunuch: Varys the spider. The only man in the series who isn't a man :big:

Re: Game of thrones.

Postby The Black Falcon » Sun Jan 06, 2013 5:42 pm

Dude, Varys is creepier than all the White Walkers and wights put together. :D
Him and his "little birds"....yikes, just yikes.

Hahahaha well maybe he's a bit creepy :big: But he's also polite, funny and surprisingly baddass for a eunuch

Oh trust me, I will! I have the books, just haven't gotten around to read the yet. Sometimes I wish there were more hours in a day

Re: Game of thrones.

Postby Chase Ricks » Tue Jan 08, 2013 4:11 pm

Reading a fantastic series such as this one does not require more hours in a day but merely the putting off of anything important in one's spare time when not online or budy doing activities in the bustling modern day world. As a speed reading bookworm, I have thereby dedicated this entire month to reading no books but this series just to prove to my inner Zarevok I have not forgotten his existence.

Aw...adorable Starks. After reading a Storm of Swords though, I can never look at that picture in the same way.

By the way, I agree that Bravoos is a land of badassery.

Uhhh! I just watched the last episode in season one of Game of thrones and I must say it's very well done! it's something realistic about it I guess. Never read the books though, but I want to!

Read the books. READ THEM, I SAY. But the TV show (for the most part) does do a pretty decent jobs at adapting the books.

I love the show (what parts I've seen), don't get me wrong, but the second season does stray from the books a bit.
