I discovered this quick and easy method today... and by "quick and easy" I mean
to get into and NOT to get out of!

So, in all seriousness, have a plan for how you are going to get out of this one because waiting until you are tied up might be exhilirating when you realise that you can't get out immediately but then panic stations when you realise you can't get out at all.
What I used is two separate dressing gown cords and a ribbon. You can of course use what works for you. This selftie is to your bed, and you need it to be one with slats under it to tie the cords around, or an immovable object on either side that you can tie the cords to. First, take a cord, slip one end under the mattress around a slat and tie it off. Make a slip knot at the other end of the cord, large enough to easily slip your wrist into. The cord should be long enough to come up onto the top of the bed and have the slip knot about one third of the way across. (The bigger the bed, the longer the cord, further over the slip knot needs to be able to come). Do the same with the other cord at the other side of the mattress. Tie your legs together and then lie face down on the bed (you can prop your head up with some pillows if you wish). Put your left arm behind your back and across to the slip knot on your right. Slip your wrist into the knot. You can get the knot to close around your wrist by using your wrist to pull the cord tight. Do the same with your right arm into the left knot. Now your wrists are bound tightly and cannot go in the direction they need to go to get out of any knots. Like I said, make sure you've worked out how you intend to escape. Enjoy!
