Being arrested should be the least of your worries.
Haven't you stopped to think of 'what if I have another seizure'? That is why your doctor has told you not to drive for 6 months, as a precaution in case this wasn't a one off incident.
At least in the UK, you are forbidden from applying for a driving licence if you have health conditions that may cause you to lose bodily control. My friend's girlfriend has a form of epilepsy. When she has an attack, she blanks out for a couple of seconds. Can you imagine what the result of that could be if she had been driving at the time of an attack?
By seizure I am assuming you mean you lost total body control, with fitting etc. Imagine what would happen if you had a seizure while driving. You lose control of your body, and your vehicle.
The advice may have legal consequences if you are pulled over and it is discovered you had medical advice to not drive.
But really, this is for your own safety, as well as every other vehicle driver on the road.
