Writing Style

1. I like to begin with a background of the main characters, provide physical desciption and other things essential to the story. Usually the main character will be featured 1st followed by descriptions of other characters as they come in the story.

2. I like to use flashbacks so that people will know why it led to one of them to be tied which will start in my next story.

3. Emotions of my characters will be presented. They may cry, laugh, and do other things depending on what is happening to them

4. There is separate and long parts to the story which leaves readers in suspense

5. I surprise people by adding plot twists and conflicts that will be resolved

6. This ending could be short or long.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

I just simply write the story in a logical sequence. That's it. The rest generally flows on its own.
It is of course easier to do this with a true story (whose outcome I already know from the start) than a fictional account, but basucally it's the same procedure (at least, for me). When I begin a fictional story I generally have only a basic idea of the plot when I begin, and I simply work the story and dialog out as I go. For me that's all there is to it; it's pretty an 'organic' process with no need for tricks.
Complex plot twists occur to me on their own with no pre-planning - often when I am in the middle of a story. The way I originally wrote 'His Brother's Keeper' for instance ten years ago (among many other stories in and out of the TUGs genre) is an example of this. That way I am almost as surprised by the plot developments as I write as I hope the readers will be.

I use two different writing styles.

One is for the creation of my rpg characters. Don't be afraid to write down the type of characters you want. In my case, I write down their info in this order:
1) Name
2)Age
3)Gender
4)Species/Race
5)Height
6)Weight
7) Hair/Eye color
8) Background information
9) Physical description.

And here is an example of one of my characters so you can see how it is done.

Sephrenia Darklighter's teacher profile

Age: 400 (but looks like she is still in her twenties).

Race: Styric

Height: 4?10 inches

Weight: 250 pounds

Eyes: Green

Hair: Black

Appearance: She wears a white robe much like a monk and is very neat
and simple. Has the appearance of an aura over her head. This is a result
of being faithful by worshipping her gods in quiet places when not working.

Background info: She prefers to be called Sephrenia and is from a land
in the Far East area of Africa. Due to the brutal persecution of her
race, most of her family has been killed, and she only has been able
to enjoy the company of her race's vast multitude of gods while seeking
a place to live and work throughout her long life.Sephrenia heard about
FrostBite School from a hierarch at the Basilica in Demos while she was
passing through on her way. Her main purpose in life is a continual search
for the knowledge that will stop the persecution of her race. The only
oddity her race has is a complete lack of reading skills. This is because
their gods have forbidden the practice entirely in hope of keeping them
pure from the corruption of words through reading.

The second is for the stories I write here. For the nontrue stories, I simply type straight from my imagination. No matter how long or short, chapters or one whole story instead, I write to please my readers and myself too. As has been seen, one never knows how any of my stories will turn out until they are completed. My current collaboration with Jason and another member I won't name yet goes along the premise that each new chapter posted is scarier then the previous one. A great writer never reveals their secrets and so you will only be told that certain books and movies inspire my imagination to help me to dream up what I write because I write it as I have seen it in my dreams.
From whence I came and whence I went heaven said I was too evil and sent me to hell. Demons and devils succeeded in breaking my soul.
