Part 1: In this part, Robert doesn't take kindly to abusive shoppers.

----Katie----

So, given our two schedules, once again, Logan and I were having trouble getting a date off the ground. We contemplated just waiting for Summer to roll around, and then I'd have more days available to work with. It took till the Month of June to actually find a Saturday that we could both get together on, so we decided to plan for that. Thankfully Summer was coming up soon, so during those months, I'd have more flexibility with my days.

Anyways, given Linda's new situation, we were doing our homework at her house a lot more often. She needed to be there to help her Mother out with her Baby Brother after all, since her Father was out at work. Lucy and Sam left early, so that they could get back, and plan for the next week ahead of us. You see, the school Prom was coming up as well.

“So, are you excited for the Prom?” Linda asked me, as I rode with her mother, and brother to the grocery store. My Dad was still at work, so I was along for the ride.

“As long as my Date doesn't wander off on me like last year,” I answered, with a scowl. One guy actually agreed to be my date at the Prom last year. This was mainly due to the fact that I was his only option. The problem for me however, was after I was done using the restroom, I walked out to find him sucking up to Roslyn. This was after he told me he'd wait for me at our table. I confronted him about it the next day, and he had the audacity to tell me that he couldn't find me. I just shook my head, and walked away.

“Yeah, I remember that,” Linda said, in a slight snarl.

Once we got to the store, Mrs. Trotter pulled into the Wal-Mart parking lot, parked in an open spot, and we got out. Linda went to fetch a cart from the cart return, and bring it over. Her Mother then set Lewis' carry cot inside the cart. We then headed for the front doors.

Once inside, we went straight to the infants section to pick out a few things for Lewis' needs. We then headed to the produce area where we saw one man who was not like the others. He was about a foot taller than all of them. He then noticed us.

“How you all doing?” Uncle Robert asked, as walked over. He was dressed in his full Biker leathers as well.

“Just getting a few things for Lewis,” Mrs. Trotter told him. “How've you been Robert?”

“Same as usual,” He said. “Is my niece giving you any trouble?” He then asked, giving a shifty look over to me.

“You know I am,” I answered, with a smile. My Uncle patted me on the head.

“Good kid,” He said, as if I was an obedient puppy. I could only blink, as Linda was snickering.

“Oh shoot, I forgot something,” Mrs. trotter then snapped, and turned the cart around.

“What plans do you have for the Summer, Gunny?” Linda then asked him, as he walked with us.

“Well, to be honest, Summer's when my real work picks up, so I'm going to be a lot more busy then usual,” Uncle Robert answered.

“I trust it'll pay well,” Linda said, reassuringly.

“That it will,” He said.

Back at the Infants section again, Linda's Mother was scouring the shelves for whatever it was she was looking for. I don't remember, and besides, my attention was on something else in the nearby electronics section. My Uncle was also watching.

“How can you tell me that my card is invalid?!” A man yelled at an employee.

“I'm sorry sir, but the register won't accept your card,” She insisted.

“Do you think I'm stupid?!” He bellowed again, but the associate remained calm.

“I do not think you are stupid Sir, I'm only saying that the register won't accept this card,” She said. She then held out her hand. “Let me try it on mine, and we'll see if that works,” She then suggested. Reluctantly, the man gave her his card. She then ran it through her reader, and shook her head. “I'm sorry Sir, but it's not working,” She explained. The man looked ready to strangle her. Linda's Mother had now noticed what was going on as well, and was watching.

“I don't believe this,” The customer hissed.

“Do you have another card?” she asked him.

“No, I don't have another card!” He snapped. Much to our surprise, she smiled at him.

“I'll put this transaction on hold if you'd like, and you can either consult your bank about your card, or return with another form of payment,” She suggested next. My Uncle watched with amazement.

“That Lady has a lot of patience to deal with someone like that,” He complimented.

“Indeed,” Mrs. trotter agreed. The customer turned away briefly. He then turned back again, and I kid you not, he belted her across her face. She let our a yelp, and fell on her hands and knees to the floor in tears.

“You suck!” He yelled. Without a word, Uncle Robert took off in the direction of the offender.

“He's a dead man,” I said, and Linda just nodded. The Attacker turned to leave just in time to be blindsided by my gigantic Uncle who had stampeded towards him at full speed. The hit sent the man to the ground, and my Uncle put his size eighteen shoe right on the man's throat. All he could do was let out a gurgling noise, as he looked up in fear.

“Now, you give me one good reason why I shouldn't do this?” Uncle Robert hissed. The man held his hands out, hoping for mercy, as the giant leered over him. “TELL ME WHY I SHOULDN'T DO IT?!” My Uncle then boomed.

By this point, a few surrounding associates were tending to the Lady while a few managers came out to see what the noise was about.

“What is going on here Robert!?” The Store Manager yelled.

“I'll tell you what's going on Dan,” My uncle growled. He then grabbed his victim, pulled him up, and put him in a tight headlock. “This sorry excuse for a man owes this lady an apology,” He stated. He then turned his attention to his captive. “Don't you,” He added, and tightened his grip. The poor lady had finally stopped crying, and turned to face her attacker. “SAY IT!!” My Uncle commanded, and yanked on the man's neck.

“I'm sorry,” He squeaked out.

“Oh come on, you can do better than that,” Uncle Robert stated, and started rapping on his head.

“I'm sorry for hitting you,” He wheezed.

“Do you want to press charges?” The Manager asked his associate. She just shook her head no, and blew her nose into a paper towel. On that note, My uncle released his grip, and shoved the man aside.

“I suggest you get your ass outta here,” He snarled. The man raced through the store as fast as he could. Everyone around to see the situation unfold gave him a round of applause.

“Thank you,” The associate said to him.

“You're welcome,” He said, and gave her a pat on the shoulder. He then walked back over to us.

“That was amazing,” Mrs. Trotter complimented.

“I don't take kindly to Jerks like that,” He told us. “Especially those who'd hit a Woman,” He then added. We then saw the Store Manager walk up to us.

“Thanks for your help Robert,” He said.

“How is she?” I then asked.

“She's shaken up, but she says she'll be alright,” The Manager said.

“That's good,” Mrs. Trotter said.

“Well, anything I can help you all find?” The Manager asked us. Mrs. Trotter briefly looked at her cart.

“I think we're okay,” She said.

“I just needed a few random fruits,” Uncle Robert then mentioned.

“Well, in that case, have a good rest of your day,” He said.

“We will,” We all said, and we then went our separate ways.

* * * *

“Did Uncle Robert tell you what happened earlier today?” I asked Dad, as we were driving home.

“Yeah, and that jackass is damn lucky,” Dad said, as he turned left. “I'm surprised Robert didn't break his hand.”

“That's what you would have done, huh,” I said.

“You're darn straight!” Dad snapped. “Anyways, on to a more pleasant subject,” He then said. “Is Logan still able to make it early enough to join us in the basement tomorrow?”

“So far as I know,” I answered. Dad grinned.

“Excellent. It'll be good for him to experience a couple different fighting styles than what his dojo can offer alone,” He stated. That's right. Logan was going to be joining us for our karate exorcises tomorrow.

I feel like if he hits the employee for the machine not working, then he is actually stupid. But what do i know?

Thanks for starting up a new series, time for me to decipher the title once more.

I work retail, and I see things like this happen first hand. ( And much worse when they're drunk.)

I both respect and pity you. I took up a job in a warehouse specifically to avoid people, I couldn't imagine working retail at all.

Part 2: In this part, A bit of rough housing leads to a minor detail that is sure to cause major embarrassment for Katie.

Long part incoming...

I woke up the next morning at about nine or so to the sound of my phone receiving a text. I pulled it over, and as I had expected, it was from Logan.

“Hi Katie, I'm headed to your house in a few minutes,” It read.

“Okay,” I typed back. I then got out of bed, grabbed a towel, and went through my usual shower routine.

After I nice long cleansing, I wrapped myself in my towel, and dried out my hair as I combed it. Now I needed to get dressed. I went back to my room, and put on my black sports bra, and my favorite pair of blue gym shorts. I didn't need my combat gear yet, but what I did need was breakfast.

After putting my hair into a ponytail, I left my room, and headed to the kitchen. I saw Dad seated at the island with his coffee.

“Morning Sunshine,” He greeted.

“Mornin,” I greeted back.

“Has Logan told you when he's arriving?” He then asked.

“He told me that he was leaving in a few minutes, and that was about thirty minutes ago,” I answered. It was also my reason for going with one of my smoothies for breakfast rather than something more time consuming.

After putting all my ingredients in the blender, I turned it on for a minute or so. Once it was done mixing, I poured the contents into a tall cup, and enjoyed.

Now that my breakfast was done, and out of the way, I had just enough time to rinse out my dishes, and load them into the washer when I heard the doorbell ring. I walked out of the kitchen, and to the front door. I then opened the door to see...

“Hi Logan,” I greeted. He was dressed in a Blue T-shirt, and a pair of his own gym shorts. He also had a backpack slung of his shoulders.

“Hi Katie,” He greeted back. I then welcomed him inside. As I closed the door behind him, I saw that he was eyeing me over. To be honest, I couldn't blame him. “Wow,” He breathed, as this was his first time seeing my athletic build in all it's glory. I just grinned.

“Just wait till you see her in a bikini,” Dad said, now exiting the kitchen to greet our guest.

“Dad!” I whined, as I started blushing. Both men then started laughing.

“How are you Logan?” Dad then asked him.

“I'm doing okay,” Logan said, and then set his bag beside the couch.

“You all set?” Dad then asked.

“I'm good to go,” Logan responded.

“I just need to get a few things,” I said, and went to the kitchen to pull out my water bottle. I then went back to my room to grab a new towel, a pair of socks, and my MMA gloves. When I made my way back down stairs, I saw that Logan had picked up his backpack again.

“To the basement now?” He asked.

“Yep,” I chirped, and with that, he followed me down into the basement.

Once we set our stuff down, we went through a few breathing exorcises to get warmed up. Dad joined us a few minutes later wearing his own gym shorts, and a white T-shirt. I could only assume he didn't ant to scare Logan out of the house with those scars on his chest.

“Do you guys have to wear a Gi at your Dojo Logan?” Dad asked, as he set his towel down.

“Yeah,” Logan answered.

“Well, I think you'll find that Katie and I are a bit more casual,” Dad then stated. I just grinned, as I put on my socks, and followed up with my gloves. Once I was set, I pounded my fists together. I was ready to go.

“How about you two start with a round of fists while I get ready,” Dad then suggested. Logan and I nodded, and got into position. Much like last time, we got up to a fevered pace very quickly. He had his blank focused stare fixed on me while I had my own gaze fixed on him. We were both completely silent during this.

After a few minutes, I caught his punch to show that the round was done.

“Very good,” I complimented.

“Thanks,” Logan said back.

“Mind if I interject?” Dad then asked, as finished his warm up. It was now Logan's turn to go toe to toe with Dad. Truth be told, it wasn't much different than when he did it with me.

“Excellent focus,” Dad complimented, as they went through their paces. Logan didn't respond, and kept his momentum. Again, just like with me, the round lasted only a few minutes. “Very good stuff there Logan,” Dad stated. Logan just nodded. Next it was me and Dad, which we do all the time, so nothing new there.

“So how about it Logan. best two out of three?” I suggested.

“Okay, unless your Dad has anything else,” Logan said, looking over at him to see his input.

“Nope, I want to see you two kids go at it,” He stated. We both nodded, and took our places in the center of the mat.

For a minute or so, we both stared each other down. I could tell he was looking for any possible weaknesses in my posture, as I was doing the same with him. I inched closer, and he backed up to match it. I inched again, and this time he did a round house kick. I saw my chance, and went for it.

I threw a punch, and he blocked it. I wasn't giving up that easy though. With a twirl, a hooked his arm, and much to my surprise got a kick to my side, as I went for an elbow to his collarbone. The thrust freed his arm, but only staggered me a bit.

I recomposed myself, and was ready for another go. This time I moved around a bit more. Sometimes a bit to the side, and sometimes I'd inch forward, and then back again. I noticed that Logan, in spite of his focus, does flinch at times. I inched at him again, and threw a few fake outs before I caught his block. I then whacked him over the chest with my forearm, and kicked him to the floor.

“You okay?” Dad asked him.

“Yeah, I'm fine,” Logan said, as he got up.

“What do you think?” Dad inquired.

“She's like a cat,” Logan answered. I gave him an evil smile.

“Meow,” I chimed in. this got me a couple awkward looks from the two which made me laugh.

“Let's try that again...Kitty Cat,” Logan stated. I snickered at his remark, and poised myself for round two.

Logan's fighting style was quite unique compared to Dad's or mine. I tend apply pressure while Dad was very retaliative, but Logan seemed to prefer to zone his opponents out. He'd swing his kicks out to keep his opponents at a safe distance. This was likely to get them frustrated, and force mistakes, or sometimes to bait them in. I found this out when I went for another opening only to be denied by a heel to my shoulder. The force was enough to send me to the floor with a yelp.

“Oh shoot, I'm sorry!” Logan snapped, in shock.

“It's okay!” I shot back. I sat there for a minute, and gathered myself. I then kipped up, and brushed myself off. The score was one to one now. Only one round remained.

We both were a lot more careful this time around. I caught his attempt to bait me in this time, and held back a for a second or so. When caught his kick, I whirled around, and went to punch him in the chest. He caught my fist, and for a minute or so, we kinda just stood there like that. We both stared each other down. Neither of us had an advantage at this point, and it looked like a stalemate. The face off was broken up by clapping. I looked over to see Dad giving us a round of applause.

“Excellent performance You Two,” He stated. We both then relaxed.

“You're really good at this Logan,” I told him, sounding quite proud.

“You too...Kitty Cat,” He said back, with a mischievous grin. I gave him a scowl.

“Is that what you're going to call me from now on?” I asked him.

“If you don't like, then I won't,” He then said. I thought about it for a minute or so, and then narrowed my eyes at him.

“Just don't overuse it, okay?” I requested. He smiled at me.

“Okay,” He said back.

“Alright Logan, it's you and me now,” Dad stated, as he took my spot on the mat. I took a seat on the nearby bench, and took a sip of my water. I then dried my face off with my towel, and watched how Logan fared against the former SEAL.

When Dad got close enough, Logan threw out a few kicks to spark a reaction. Dad held back, but didn't flinch. Logan threw out another kick, and Dad threw a punch right on his heel. The hit gave him his opportunity to move in. Logan spotted this, and did a back handspring to avoid a hit. He then did a roundhouse kick to keep Dad back.

It didn't work though, as Dad ducked under it. Using his momentum, he spun his foot around to catch Logan on his shoulder, and sent him to the floor.

“Whoa,” He said aloud, as he kipped up. Dad had Logan on the defensive at first, but then backed off again. Remember, Dad's strength comes from being on the defensive. The thing is, so did Logan's. This made the match less like a fight, and more like a game of chess. Within a few minutes though, Logan was down on the mat again.

“You okay?” Dad asked him, as he extended his hand to help him up.

“Yeah,” Logan said, as he got up.

“I like your zoning technique. It's not something I see very often,” Dad then pointed out.

“It works well,” I then added.

“Thanks,” Logan responded.

“Okay Katie, come on up,” Dad then requested. Dad and I then went through our usual routine. Dad won the rounds of course, but none of us were really concerned with that aspect.

* * * *

We all took turns sparing with each other for the next hour and a half or so, before we decided to call it good. I got a sip of water, and dried myself off with my towel again while dad did pretty much the same. I then took a minute or so to catch my breath. Logan decided to take his breather first. He then took a water bottle out of his backpack, and took a few large gulps, before putting it back. He then started searching for something again.

“Uh, Katie, can I borrow a towel?” He asked a minute or so later. I looked at him. “I thought I had packed one, but I seem to have forgotten it.”

“Yeah, sure, just follow me,” I said.

I set my own towel down, and headed upstairs to the laundry room with Logan right behind me. I opened up one cupboards to reveal a few towels of varying sizes, and tossed one to him.

"Thanks," He said, and began drying himself off.

"Your welcome," I said back. "Just toss it in the hamper there when your done," I then added, and point to the dirty laundry hamper. Logan then nodded at where I was pointing, and continued to dry himself.

"That was fun," He then said, once he was done. I smiled at him.

"Oh, I thoroughly enjoyed it too," I chirped back. Logan was about to put the towel in the hamper, but then paused.

“Hey Katie?” He asked.

“Yeah?” I asked back. I saw that he was looking at the dirty laundry hamper. I walked over to see what it was. What I saw in the hamper made my blood run cold.

“Why does this headband have a sock sewn on it?” He asked.

Ah, now this poses quite the dilemma; does Katie reveal the games to Logan, knowing absolutely nothing about how he'll react, or lie to him? I suppose we'll just have to wait and find out heh.

Part 3: In this part, some blank spots are filled in.

My mind was racing with possible options on how to answer this. Do I tell him, and if so, do I tell him full out, or do I simply try to make it as vague as possible? Do I lie to him, and risk betraying his trust? Do I simply tell him I don't want to talk about it? These were all racing through my mind all at once, and picking one out was proving impossible. I was starting to understand how a shark feels when trying to pick out one fish from a huge school.

Coming up with a lie for this would take too long, and that by itself would be suspicious. Plus, as I already said, I really didn't want to do that. Vagueness also likely wouldn't work because-well lets face it: How do you vaguely explain a sock sewn onto a headband? I did take a stab at it though with the first thing that came to mind.

“It's just something I play with from time to time,” I said, trying not to sound too nervous, but I don't think it worked. Logan showed no sign of noticing though, and just looked back at it.

“Um, how do you play with something like that?” He asked. It was an honest question. I was trying to come up with an answer, but the only thing coming up with any form of success was the red color on my face. “Katie, are you alright?” He then asked, now taking notice of my current state.

“Yeah, it's just-” I started, and then sighed, “It's just a bit embarrassing is all,” I confessed. I was almost about to start crying to be honest. It's always those simple and easy to overlook mistakes that really nail you the hardest. It never came to me that this might happen, and now I was in a hell of a pickle because of it.

“Oh, well, if it's something you don't want to talk about, I won't push. I mean-” Logan then told me, in a reassuring tone. I nodded, and smiled a bit.

“The thing is, I wanted to tell you about this, but I just didn't know how or when to bring it up to you,” I then explained. Logan just shrugged.

“Well, as my Dad used to say: If there's no easy way to say it, then just say it, or don't say anything,” Logan then told me. I genuinely smiled at his use of logic. I was now breathing more intently, as I tried to measure up the courage to tell him.

“Can you promise me that you won't laugh?” I then asked him.

“Um, I'll try,” Logan said. With one more sigh, I finally let it out.

“It's a gag,” I told him. Logan blinked at me, as if trying to piece together what I had just said.

“As in, like, something you used in a prank?” He asked me.

“No, as in a gag you put in someones mouth to stop them from talking, or crying out,” I explained. “You fold up the sock, and put it in the mouth while the headband covers it.”

“And you say you play with it?” Logan asked, looking for confirmation. I then nodded yes.

“The truth is: I actually enjoy the feeling of being bound and gagged,” I finally said. Logan's mood looked as if it had turned a bit bitter all of a sudden.

“Oh,” Logan said, in a surprisingly sour tone I might add. It certainly wasn't the reaction I was expecting from him.

“Does this upset you?” I asked him, now taking note of the mood shift.

“No, it's not you,” He said. “It's just that, I had a bad experience with a few boys who decided to tie a girl to a tree once,” He then told me.

“What happened?” I asked him. My blushing was dying down now, as a result of this revaluation. Logan then told his story.

“I'll give you the short version so we aren't here all day,” He answered. “When I was ten years old, I went to a local summer camp,” He started. “I was trying to make friends, and several boys decided it would be good fun to tie a girl named Emily to a tree for the fun of it. She screamed at them to let her go, and started crying once she realized she wasn't getting free.”

“That's awful,” I interjected. Logan nodded, and then continued.

“They taunted her, and teased her about it too. I wanted to let her go, but it was me against ten other kids, and I didn't want to end up on the tree with her, so I just abstained for the time being,” I then told me.

“I'm guessing you were biding your time until you could release her?” I then asked, as we walked out of the laundry room, and back into the living room. I sat on the couch while Logan chose a recliner across from me.

“Yes, and eventually the boys went to go get a few things, and told me, of all people, to stand, and watch her so that she didn't get way. The second they were out of view, I rushed over to her, and began untying her. Once freed she didn't even thank me, and raced off to the cabins,” Logan continued.

“Was she telling the counselors what happened?” I asked.

“She had to have, because when the boys got back, and threatened to tie me to the tree, the counselors showed up to put a stop to it,” Logan answered.

“That's good at least,” I said.

“Yeah, but it didn't end well for me,” He then said. “Every boy involved in the indecent was kicked from the camp, and sent home, and this included me.”

“What? Why?” I snapped.

“They thought because I didn't do anything to stop it, that I was just as guilty, and I was sent home. I told Dad what happened, and he tried to explain it as well, but the counselors weren't having it,” He said. I just shook my head at how profoundly stupid this was.

“Thankfully I found a new outlet in the form of doing Karate, but that day still weighs on my mind sometimes,” Logan said. I nodded my agreement.

“I know how it feels to be haunted by experiences like that. Trust me,” I told him firmly, as we did tell him about those times I was held hostage, along with some of my friends, over the last ten months or so.

“So you've told me,” Logan confirmed.

“What ever happened to Emily?” I then asked, remembering that she was a victim in this as well.

“She left the camp, and I never saw her since,” Logan answered. This was a lot to take in honestly. It also was a good demonstration of bad form when playing tie up games of any kind, and why the rules Dad and we put in place were so important.

“You did the right thing Logan,” Dad then said. We both whipped our attention to the stair case to see my Dad standing leaning on the railing with a sympathetic look on his face. My eyes narrowed.

“How long have you been listening?” I snapped at him.

“Long enough to know everything except how this subject came up,” He answered. “And I didn't want to interrupt it, as it seemed important,” He then explained. I nodded somewhat at that, as he did have a point.

“I went to get Logan a towel from the laundry room, and he saw one of my special headbands in the hamper,” I told him.

“Oh, I see,” Dad responded, now with a smirk, as he put two and two together. I felt myself blushing again. “But back to the matter at hand," Dad interjected, trying to get the main topic back on focus again. "Logan, you shouldn't beat yourself up for doing the only thing you could in your current situation. As you said, you freed her the second those boys were gone, and sometimes things just go wrong,” Dad told him.

“Yeah, I know,” Logan said grimly.

“Logan, think of it this way. I'm going to compare notes with you,” Dad then stated. “You remember what I told you about Henry last time you were here, right?” He then asked. (Yes, we did tell him.) Logan nodded, to show he was listening. “Well, had Henry not betrayed me, I wouldn't have been forced to retire. This means I may not have been able to marry Melissa, and She wouldn't have been able to bless me with the most beautiful daughter I could ever ask for just before it was her time to pass on,” Dad told him. “Do you understand?”

“I think so,” Logan said.

“Now, lets take you for instance,” Dad stated. “If you hadn't been kicked from the camp, would you have gained an interest in Karate? And if so, would your Dad have invited you to watch me train those rookies? And would you have had the opportunity to meet Katie in the first place?” He then asked him. Light was finally starting to fill Logan's eyes, as he now understood. I could only smile.

“Yeah, yeah, you're right,” He said. Dad grinned at him.

“The point is, sometimes a bad event can have a silver lining later on down the road. Had you not been kicked from the camp, you and Katie likely never would have met,” Dad explained. “Just something to think about,” He added.

“Another thing is, I never let a bad experience stop me from doing what I enjoy doing. If anything else, being tied up for fun has helped me deal with the live situations,” I then said.

“I just don't understand why you'd enjoy it,” Logan said. I looked over at Dad who was looking back at me expectantly.

“Go ahead,” I told him. He then nodded.

“She gets it from her Mother,” Dad explained, and then went through the whole tale all over again. From the various ties to the bet placing, and everything else.

“So She liked the thrill of escaping,” Logan stated, in confirmation. Dad nodded. Logan then turned to me. “And I'm guessing you do too?” He asked. To his surprise, I shook my head no.

“Nope. I actually just like the feeling of being tied up personally,” I told him.

“Hmm,” Logan hummed. I then decided to go that one step further.

“Would you...like to practice with me? Maybe chase away a few ghosts?” I suggested, remembering when I did the same for Kelsey. Logan sighed. He then looked at me. I just smiled at him in a way that told him it was perfectly okay for him to do so, or that if he didn't want to, I wouldn't be upset.

Logan then looked over at Dad who just shrugged, and gave him that “It's up to you” look. Logan then looked back at me again, and then at last gave his answer.

“It might help,” He said.

“Okay, just give me a few minutes to grab a few things, and change into something a bit more...uh...appropriate,” I said, with a hint of glee in my voice. In short, I was glad to finally have that whole thing off my chest. Now it was time to help Logan do the same.

Part 4: In this part, Katie runs Logan through some new basic training.

I went upstairs to my room, and closed the door. I then swapped my workout clothes for my all time favorite outfit: My camo jogger pants, and a polo shirt – My Team Ariat polo shirt to be exact. I wanted to showcase a bit more of my tomboyish nature, along with as a bit of my past as well.

I tucked my shirt in, as I always do, and then lifted my ponytail out from under the collar. Now I just needed one more thing. I walked over to my dresser, opened the bottom drawer, and pulled out a single twenty foot length of rope. I figured it would be best if I just stuck to the basics for Logan's first go at this.

With the rope in hand, I left my room, and headed back down stairs where Logan was sitting on the couch with his phone in his hand. When he saw me again, he switched it off, and put it back in his pocket.

“You wear those types of shirts a lot,” He commented.

“Oh, I love polos so much,” I said back, as I walked around to the arm of the couch, and set the rope down. Logan grinned at me.

“Well, that's the best one I've seen you wear so far,” He then complimented. I smiled warmly.

“Aw, thank you,” I chimed, as I clasped my hands behind my back. Logan seemed to just stare at me for a moment. "Logan?" I asked him.

"Oh, sorry, it's just...well...I don't know why, but I like when you do that," He told me.

"When I do what?" I asked him.

"When you put your hands behind your back. I think it looks very attractive," He confessed. I nodded in agreement.

"I like how it looks too. Plus It just feels natural, and comfortable to me, so yeah, I do it a lot," I explained. I then decided to get back to the main topic. “Anyways, are you ready to begin?” I asked him.

“I guess so,” He replied. I could tell he was still kinda hesitant, and I was hoping to change that. His attention then turned to the rope. "Is that the rope we're going to use?" He then asked.

"Uh, no, that's the rope you're going to use," I corrected. "But there are a couple of things I need to go over first."

"Okay," Logan said, flatly.

“Okay, the two most important things to remember about these tying games are agreement between both partners, and safety,” I told him. “We've already covered the hazards of breaking the first rule, so let's do safety,” I then suggested.

“Right,” Logan agreed. I nodded my confirmation, and then motioned with my finger for him to follow me. I lead him back up to my room where I sat down at my computer, and pulled up YouTube. I typed in the words Rope Bondage Safety into the search bar and clicked on this video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5ApBQtmdco&t=450s

Throughout the narration, Logan would occasionally nod, and take mental notes. After the video was over, I looked over at him to see that he seemed to be a bit more interested, now that he had seen that there was more to tying someone then just putting their hands behind their back, and looping a rope around them.

“What did you think?” I asked him.

“Very informative,” He said. “There seems to be a lot more to this than I had thought.”

“Yeah, I watch this video at least once a month to make sure I remember those issues,” I then told him. He nodded his agreement. “Okay, I have one more to show you now,” I then added, as I typed in Double Column Tie Wrists into the search bar, and then clicked on this video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ItFtMDL-9I

“I'm guessing that's what you want me to do?” Logan asked, once the demonstration was over.

“Yep, that's our go-to tie, although we actually customized it a bit to our own liking” I stated. He blinked at my for a second.

“We? Our?...Go-to tie?” He inquired. I gave him a chuckle.

“Oh yeah, my friends and I do this with each other all the time,” I then told him. “In fact, Linda was playing these games with her cousin before I even met her.”

“Huh,” He humphed, and then shrugged.

“Okay, let's head back down stairs,” I said, and with that I left my room with Logan right behind me.

We both headed back down stairs over to the couch. I Sat down next to the arm with the rope in easy reach. Logan took a seat next to me. I then held out my hands in front of me.

“Put three fingers in between my wrists,” I instructed. Logan did as told, and split my wrists with three fingers. “That is the distance you want someone's wrists to be from each other when applying this tie,” I explained.

“Gives you a bit of room for comfort,” Logan guessed.

“Something like that,” I said back. I then grabbed the rope, and handed it to him. “Are you ready?” I asked him.

“I guess so,” He said, and took the rope. I then held my hands in place so that he could perform his first tie. The first thing he did was split my wrists with his three fingers. It was a good sign he was paying attention. He then started the tie according to the video, but then quickly found out where we had made a few changes.

“We actually only go around once rather than twice. It still puts six bands in place, and is perfectly comfortable,” I explained to him. He nodded, and stopped where he was. He then put his fingers in between my wrists to make sure they were the right distance apart.

“How do I know if it's too tight, or too lose?” He asked.

“Ah, good question,” I answered. “What we usually look for is right as the rope starts to press on the wrist. Also, if you can't easily push your fingers in between my wrists then it's too tight. There should be only a little bit of friction when you do so,” I explained to him. He nodded, and then he began the cinch in the middle now that the bands were applied correctly.

“Should the cinch be tighter, or is this okay?” He then asked me.

“The cinch should be as tight as you can make it without going overboard. Just give it a good pull, and that's usually enough,” I told him. Logan did as had I told him. “You'll notice just like in the video that the cinch sucks up that extra slack,” I then mentioned.

“Yeah,” He responded, and gave the tie a decent cinch. “Do I knot it now?”

“Yes, and you'll want to tie it at the top of my wrists, and not on top of the cuffs,” I pointed out. “Do you know why?”

“Uh, no,” Logan answered.

“It prevents inquisitive fingers from reaching it, and untying it,” I told him.

“Makes sense,” He replied, and then knotted the tie off with a standard square knot. “Um, there's a lot of left over rope,” He then pointed out.

“I know that, we'll get to that later,” I replied.

“Okay, so, in that case...how'd I do?” He asked. I grinned at him.

“This is very good,” I complimented. “Want to try again?” I then asked.

“Uh, sure,” He said, sounding as though he was becoming more comfortable with the concept. I offered my hands to him, and he untied them.

“This time I'm going to let you do it all by yourself. Let's see how you do,” I stated, with a sly look. Logan snorted a bit. He then began the tie again.

The tie was a bit awkward at first, but that was to be expected given his whole several minutes of experience in doing this. He was a quick study though, and would correct a mistake as it came up. Soon he had my hands tied in front of me again.

“Did I do it right?” He asked. I wiggled in my bonds again, and then nodded my approval.

“This is very good Logan, you're a natural,” I told him, and for the first time since I met him, he started blushing a bit.

“Oh...thanks,” He retorted. I just chuckled a bit.

“Okay, now we'll get into why the rope is longer then necessary, because it technically isn't,” I said. He nodded, and then untied me again. Once my hands were free, I turned away from him, and casually put my hands behind my back.

“Oh, You want me to tie your hands behind you now?” He asked.

“Yep. It gives a better sensation of immobility, and as we already discussed, it looks much more attractive,” I answered. “I always prefer having my hands tied behind my back rather than in front.”

“Oh, Okay then,” He said. I soon felt the sensation of rope around my wrists again, as Logan went to work. From what I could feel, he was doing it correctly. I soon felt the knot being tied in place.

“I need to stand up for the next part,” I said, and stood up off the couch. “We're going to add a waist rope.”

“What's a waist rope?” Logan asked.

“Some people, like me, can slide their hands under their legs, and back in front of them. A waist rope will prevent that,” I explained.

“Gotcha,” Logan stated.

“Okay, run both ends around either side of my waist, and through the belt loops on my pants,” I directed. Logan then proceeded to run both ends through the loops on my right side.

“Um,” He said, realizing that something wasn't quite right.

“One end goes through one side, the other end goes through the other side, Silly,” I said, with a grin.

“Oh, duh,” Logan said. He then corrected his mistake, and came around in front of me. “Do I knot it off now?” He then asked. I smiled at him. He was getting it.

“That's right,” I said. Logan nodded, and finished the tie off with a square knot bow. He then stepped back to see how he did. He gave it a smile, and nodded.

"Katie, I think I did it," He stated.

“Yes you did,” I said back.

"Is it comfortable for you?" He then asked.

“Yes it is. You did a wonderful job," I answered. "I'm not getting out of this until you let me out.”

“Oh, do you want out?” He asked, with a look of mild concern. His instant willingness was a great sign of things to come later, as I now knew that if I wanted out of a tie, he would not hesitate. As for right now though, I shook my head no.

“No, I'd like to enjoy it for a bit,” I told him.

I have a feeling that with Logan's razor focus, he'll have no trouble picking things up. Thanks for the update, I look forward to the next.

Yeah, I gave Logan that "haunting" memory in order to keep him honorable with Katie. He'll grow into her enjoyment of the game, but the fact that the event at the summer camp happened will always be there to remind him not to go too far. This coupled with his immense self control, means that He and Katie are going to have a fun time with the game, and not let it get out of hand.

Part 5: In this part, Katie and Logan do a bit of back and forth.

“I still don't understand what you find so fascinating about this though,” Logan said, shaking his head a bit.

“Truth be told, being tied up and gagged, helps me to relax,” I pointed out.

“How?” Logan asked, still not understanding, and truth be told I didn't blame him. On the surface, it would seem rather bizarre.

“Well, it's like this,” I started. “When I'm tied up like this, I can't do much, and when I'm gagged, I can't talk. It forces me into a situation of doing and saying nothing, so I just sit still, and let my mind cleanse itself of any negative thoughts,” I explained to him. Logan blinked at me.

“I guess that...kinda makes sense,” He said, after thinking it over a bit. I smiled at him.

“My Mom enjoyed being tied up to hone a craft, but I enjoy it for more...therapeutic reasons,” I stated.

“But only with your friends or your Dad, right?” He asked, knowing that being held hostage isn't likely to count. I gave him a scowl.

“Obviously,” I half snarled at him. I then saw Dad turn the corner, and start his way down the stairs. “Hey Dad,” I greeted.

“How's it going?” He asked back.

“Take a look,” I said, as I stood up straight, and allowed him to get good look at my bindings. Dad inspected them, and when he was done, he gave a nod.

“You sure this is your first time Logan?” He asked him.

“Positive,” Logan responded.

“This is actually pretty good for a first time,” Dad complimented.

“I know I'm not getting out of it without help,” I added. Dad nodded, and then changed the subject.

“By the way, I just wanted to let you Kids know that it's getting close to twelve, so you may want to head out before the lunch rush starts,” He advised.

“Good idea,” Logan said, he then picked up his backpack. “I just need to get changed.”

“Bathroom's just across from the laundry room,” Dad told him. Logan nodded, and headed for the restroom.

I paced a bit, as I waited, and within a few minutes, Logan came out where something similar to what Dad wears to work. He had on an unbuttoned short sleeve oxford shirt over a blue T-shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. He then put his socks, and shoes back on.

“Well, are you ready to go?” He asked me.

“Yep,” I chirped. He then approached me, and began undoing the tie. It took a bit of time, but within a minute or so, my hands were free once again. “Thanks again,” I told him.

“Glad it made you happy,” He replied. I just smiled.

“I just need to get a few things, before we go,” I said, and went back to my room with my rope in hand. The first thing I did was put on my own socks and shoes. Next I put my phone in my pocket. I then put the rope into a small carry bag. With my bag in hand, I headed back downstairs.

“Are you ready now?” Logan asked, with his keys in hand.

“Yep, we can go now,” I stated. I then turned to Dad. “Bye Dad,” I said to him.

“Good-bye, have fun,” He said back. “And play nice,” He then added, in that stern fatherly tone.

“We will,” Logan insisted, and with that, we were out the door.

So, I just want to go over our game plan here for a minute or so. Logan wanted to take me out to lunch first. After that we were going to do some shopping, because he had invited me over to his place for dinner, and a movie. I offered to cook dinner since he was buying lunch, and I thought that Dad's yakisoba would be perfect.

The reason I'm bringing the rope with me was so that he could practice a bit as we watched the movie. It was also the final trust test. You see, you could argue that Logan didn't try anything while I was in my helpless state, because Dad was there. If he could prove himself when Dad isn't around, then I would have no reason not to trust him. That all being said...uh....where was I?.....Oh yeah, lunch.

We pulled into the parking lot at our local Olive garden, and were surprised to see that it wasn't packed yet. He found a spot close by to park, and we then got out.

“Hello, two?” The lady at the entrance greeted. Logan nodded yes. The receptionist then pulled out a pair of menus. “Right this way please,” She ushered, and we followed her to our table. We both sat down at opposite ends, and as she left, we opened our menus to see what we wanted.

“You usually need a crowbar to get in here at this time,” I pointed out.

“Yeah, I remember waiting thirty minutes one time,” Logan said. Within a few minutes our Server had arrived to take our orders. After we told him what we wanted, he wrote it down, and then left with the menus in hand. Logan and I kinda just looked at each other for a minute or so, before he decided to break the silence.

“So, what's that name on your shirt?” He asked me.

“What? Ariat?” I asked, to confirm his question. “It's an equestrian outfitter,” I then answered.

“Oh, you mean horseback riding?” He asked me.

“Yeppers,” I said, with a grin.

“I'm guessing it's something you do?” Logan asked.

“Horse Jumping, and Barrel Racing to be precise, and Sam and I both used to do it for about six years,” I corrected.

“What made you stop?” Logan asked, with a concerned look.

“The barn we went to fell apart about two years ago,” I answered.

“Oh, that's a shame,” Logan then moaned.

“Yeah it was. We couldn't find another barn close enough, and we had to sell our horses, and pretty much everything else relating to them,” I told him.

“Were you able to keep anything at all?” Logan asked.

“Well yeah, I still have my boots, and I use um when my Dad or my Uncle take me out on their Motorcycles. I still have a couple pairs of breeches, but they're more keepsakes than anything else right now. I kept most of my shirts though,” I explained.

“Is the one you're wearing right now one of them?” Logan asked.

“Actually no, I got this one last Christmas as a gift. I just thought it looked cool,” I answered, with a slight shrug.

“It does,” Logan stated. I just smiled at him. Our Server had then returned with salad and bread sticks.

“Is there anything else I can get for you right now?” He asked us. I shook my head no.

“No, I think we're good,” Logan said to him.

“Alright then,” The Waiter said, and then walked off to tend to another Table's needs.

“So, how about you Logan? how did you start up a Bowling career?” I inquired. I figured, as long as I was opening up about my past, he can return the favor.

“Well, I used to watch it on TV when I was Five, and asked Dad if I could try it. At first I wasn't very good, as you can expect,” Logan said to me. I nodded along.

“Given your age at the time, it's perfectly understandable,” I stated. Logan then began again.

“I still kept playing though, and once I was fifteen, I had gotten pretty good, and I decided to join a league. This wasn't one that payed though. It was for fun,” He continued. “It was in this league that I met Kyle.”

“Ah yes, your friend on your current team as well,” I said, in confirmation. Logan blinked at me.

“He didn't start out as a friend, I can tell you that,” He stated, I also detected a bit of snarling as well. I perked up upon hearing this.

“Ah ha, I see,” I said, with a smile. “You were rivals.”

“That's putting it mildly,” Logan groaned. “He was the best player in our age group until I showed up, and mopped the floor with him one game,” He then explained.

“And I'm assuming he didn't take it very well,” I guessed.

“No, he was real jealous of me, and my skill. He refused to call me by my name, and usually resorted to some form of insult or slur. He'd even try to sabotage my games from time to time, ” Logan told me. I remember meeting Kyle, and he seemed so nice. I couldn't imagine him like this given what I knew about him before.

“Yet he's your friend now, so something must have changed,” I insisted. Logan nodded yes.

“We were having a doubles tournament, and the coach of my current team was scouting players. He had two openings, and Kyle was determined to be one of them,” Logan explained. “Not only that, he was hoping I'd fail, so that he could get that one up on me that he'd been craving for so long. You can imagine the look on his face when he saw that we were paired together.”

“Oh yes, I can,” I said, as I giggled.

“We each kept throwing strike after strike, and by the tenth frame we had eleven straight Xs,” Logan said. “As I was about to take my last throw, I heard Kyle call me by name for the first time.”

“Oh,” I said, perking up again. Logan was grinning.

“Yeah, he said to me: Logan, don't you dare miss this,” He said.

“With a perfect game on the line, now he wants you to do well,” I said. Logan nodded again.

“I took aim, threw the ball, and flattened all ten pins instantly,” He said. “Kyle and I both jumped up in triumph, and for the first time, we gave each other a high five.”

“That's wonderful,” I chimed.

“That three hundred game changed everything between us,” Logan said.

"And it got you both the spots on your current team," I pointed out.

"Yeah," Logan confirmed.

“Just goes to show that you just never know,” I stated.

“Yeah, so it seems,” Logan said back. We then looked to see that our food had arrived.

“Ah, thank you,” I said to the Waiter, and we both began to enjoy our lunch.

Sorry I haven't been able to respond lately. I've been in the middle of a big move, and when I read your amazing stories it's always right before I am going to bed. But overall, you continue to be one of my favorite writers on here. Please, keep up the good work, and I cannot wait for more as usual.

Thank you very much. I'm trying to piece together a few things before I continue this. It's not over yet.

Part 6: In this part, Katie performs her Trussed- I mean Trust Test with Logan.

Once we were finished with lunch, Logan covered the check, but I decided to pull out a Ten for the tip. We then made our way to the grocery store to pick up what we needed for dinner. I checked over Dad's recipe that I had with me, and picked out the ingredients accordingly.

“That just leaves the noodles,” I told him, after going through the check list.

“Okay,” Logan responded.

* * * *

After our shopping trip, Logan and I were on the road for about twenty minutes before pulling into a parking lot in front of a rather nice looking apartment complex. I was a bit perplexed.

“I didn't know you lived on your own,” I pointed out.

“Oh, yeah, I've been able to earn enough in my winnings so far to have my own place,” Logan explained. I just nodded, as he parked the truck.

With my bag in hand, we both got out, and headed for the building. After ascending one flight of stairs, we headed down a hall, and to the door of Logan's apartment. Logan pulled out his keys, unlocked the door, and allowed me, The Lady, to enter first.

“Very nice,” I said, once I we were both inside, and Logan closed the door behind us. The apartment was unlike anything a typical guy would have. It was clean...very clean. It was almost...how do I say this...creepy?

The carpet on the floor was almost spotless, as was the kitchen floor. The kitchenware had been arranged perfectly according to their respective sizes. Everything seemed a little too perfect, but then I remembered that autism sometimes comes with a bit of OCD.

“It's home,” Logan said.

I just wasn't expecting it to be so...clean,” I said, no longer able to hold it back.

“Yeah, I'm a bit of a neat freak,” Logan replied. I just nodded, and set my bag down on the couch in the living room. I then joined him in getting the rest of our groceries out.

Once the last bag was brought in, I opened the refrigerator to put a few things away. The same precision applied here as well, and I did my best to set things into the fridge accordingly without messing anything up. After all that, I flicked my ponytail back behind me again, and looked back at Logan.

“So, what movie did you have in mind?” I asked him.

“Do you like Lord of the Rings?” He asked me.

“Yes I do,” I answered.

“Which one would you like to watch?” He asked me. I just shrugged.

“Doesn't really matter,” I chirped.

“Okay,” He said back. We then walked into the living room which also served as his TV room. While he set that up, I took off my shoes, and set them on the shoe mat by the door. I then picked up my bag, and took the rope out. Logan was now putting the DVD in. He then turned to see me, and what I was holding.

“Oh, do you want me to tie you again?” He asked, sounding a bit nervous.

“You don't have to, but I'd like it if you did,” I told him.

“Well, as long as you're okay with it,” He said. I just gave him a nod.

“I'll be fine,” I insisted, in a gentle tone. At this point, the menu screen for The Two Towers had shown on the TV. Logan walked over to me, and took the rope. I smiled at him, and turned around with my hands behind my back. I soon felt the rope going around my wrists again. While it was gentle, I noticed that he was moving considerably faster. I just shook my head. That precise mind of his was coming through once again.

Once Logan was done with my wrists, and the cinch, he threaded the rope through the belt loops on my pants again to make the waist rope. He then took a knee to finish the tie off with the same knot he had used before.

“Is that okay?” He asked me, as he stood back up again. I wiggled in my bonds a bit, and smiled, and nodded my approval.

“Yep,” I chirped. “That was surprisingly fast.”

“I'm a quick learner,” Logan responded.

“So I've seen,” I said back, and we both sat down on the couch. Logan grabbed his remote, and hit play.

1 hour later...

“Katie, are you still okay like that?” He asked me. I turned to him briefly.

“Yes, I'm fine,” I replied, in a reassuring tone.

“Okay,” He then said. We both then turned back to the TV screen. A few minutes later however, I got a bit of a shock. I was so focused on the movie, I didn't notice it until I felt it happen. Logan hooked my legs under his arm, and lifted my feet onto his lap while. I was glad I was seated next to the arm of the couch, or I would have fallen backwards.

“What the-” I responded.

“I was just gonna give you a foot rub,” Logan explained, trying to sound innocent. Unlike most other people however, (especially my family,) in his case, it was actually believable.

“Oh, alright,” I said, with a hint of suspicion. If he started tickling them, I ran the risk of “accidentally” kicking him. Logan however was true to his word. To feel his thumbs and fingers knead my feet was actually a wonderful feeling. I just breathed deeply, and let him do his thing. As long as he didn't tickle them, I was okay with it.

“You do that very well,” I complimented.

“Thanks,” he said back, and we continued to watch the movie. Bottom line is this though. Logan had every opportunity to exploit me in my helpless state, and he did no such thing. The worst he did was give me a ten minute foot rub without asking me first. I now knew what I needed to know. He was completely trustworthy.

After the movie...

“Well, that was fun,” I told him.

“I'm amazed you could stay tied up for that long,” He stated.

“Well, you made it very comfortable, and your couch cushions were nice and soft,” I explained to him.

“Do you want to be untied now?” He asked. I gave him a slight scowl.

“Well, I kinda have to be if I'm gonna cook, Silly,” I pointed out. He just snorted, and undid the rope.

Once my hands were free, I wound up the rope, and put it back in my bag. I then used the restroom, and straighten myself out a bit. He showed me his massaging skills. Now it was time for me to show him my kitchen skills.

“Do you have a wok?” I asked him.

“Yeah, it's in the big cupboard,” Logan answered, as he started pulling out a few things from the fridge. I frowned slightly.

“Logan, there are about five big cupboards here,” I stated.

“Oh, right, this one,” He corrected, and pointed it out the cupboard by the sink on the left to me. I opened it up, and after moving a few pans, I found the wok, and pulled it out. I looked at Dad's recipe, and set the temperature accordingly.

“Okay, so while that's heating up, let's get these cut,” I stated, and we both got busy cutting up the veggies. I'll give Logan credit where it's due: He's pretty good in the kitchen. His focus was as razor sharp as the knife he was using.

“Uh, Katie,” Logan said, and pointed over at the stove. I looked over at the wok briefly, and saw that it was smoking. That is a bad sign. I rushed over to it, and moved it halfway off the burner, and turned the heat down a bit.

“That was close,” I commented, and went back to cutting the veggies.

After we finished with the veggies, I set the wok back onto the burner, and turned the heat back up again. I began adding various sauces, along with some minced garlic into the wok, and began swishing it around. Now it was time to add our veggies, and some packaged beef bits. I then started swishing that around as well.

Logan was looking over my shoulder now. I just turned to him, and smiled warmly at him. I then started tossing the yakisoba.

“That looks really good,” He said, eyes fixed on the food. I gave him a wink, and then turned the heat off. It was finally done.

“Let's get out some plates, and forks,” I suggested, as I moved the wok to the side, and let our food cool off a bit. Logan got out a pair of plates while I got out two forks for us, and set them on the table. Logan set the plates to the right of them. I then took hold of the wok, and poured out some of that wonderful yakisoba onto our plates.

Once it was all distributed between us, I took the wok to the sink to be washed, and filled it with water from the sink. After that, I returned to the table where Logan and I said grace, and began to eat.

“Katie, this is wonderful,” Logan said, after taking a bite. “How many times have you made this?”

“Truth be told, this was my first time actually making it. I just watched Dad cook, and tried to replicate it on that,” I told him.

“Well, I guess there's a first time for everything,” He said, with a suggesting smile.

“Indeed there is,” I said back, with the same smile. We then enjoyed our dinner.

* * * *

After we were done, we both took on the dishes. I washed out the wok while Logan rinsed off the plates and loaded them into his dishwasher. I couldn't help but grin as he arranged them by size and type just like everything else. Logan also made sure to get me home by eight O'clock as well. As I was stepping out of the truck

“Thanks for spending some time with me,” Logan said, out of the blue.

“Thank you as well,” I replied, and he then drove back home while I walked to my front door. I pulled out my house key, and opened the door to see Dad on the couch with his laptop.

“How'd it go?” He asked me. I smiled, and told about what all we did.

“The worst thing he did was give me a foot rub without asking me first,” I stated. “I think he's proven himself.”

“So far, I would have to agree,” Dad said, and I gave him a hug. Dad, like any other father, was a bit skeptical at first, as well he should be. Logan, however, had won him over as well. I then heard my phone receive a text.

“How'd your Date go?” Sam had typed.

“It went great,” I typed back. “He also knows about the game now.”

Whoops, looks like I missed a part. Fortunately, they both seemed to be relatively similar, them both developing Logan's character.

What an interesting character he is, to be honest. His outward appearance and personality is clearly one that would offput many, while his mindset continues to portray what people often overlook. Glorious.

Thanks for the update, I think this may be my favourite chapter of your series.

I wanted Logan to be vastly different from most of the "Boyfriend" type characters I've seen on this site. I see a lot of the Boyfriend characters involved in sports, but there are two things that always seem to happen. The first is they play the sport just to play it, at least that's what it seems like to me, and the second is it's almost always the same type of sport.

Almost every guy plays either Baseball, Football, Soccer, or something like that. those are all high adrenaline sports that require super good condition, and let's be honest here, we know why they play them: To give them a physique. I wanted Logan to stray from that path. Bowling is a very high paying sport if you're good enough to win. I also wanted him to commit to it, and make it his living as a pro.

His autism gives him that extra edge on the lanes, but it also makes him oblivious to any "naughty" tendencies a guy will have when the see a nice young lady like Katie tied up and gagged. He finds her attractive, but instead of exploiting her, he just wants her to be comfortable. Oh, and Katie will be introducing him her gags soon, but first she has to deal with an issue at school.

PS: As far as favorite Chapters go, I think my personal favorite was in Loose Ends. It was Randy interrogation, and it covered two parts. I had so much fun writing that. Plus it tells that while Jeff and Robert are fun loving goofballs by default, they can turn really sadistic when their family or friends are in danger.

Part 7: In this part, Katie refuses to go to the shallow end of the pool.

Lunch Café at School...

“So, did you tell him, or did he find out by himself?” Sam asked me. We had isolated ourselves in order to address the new elephant in the room. On top of that, no one else knows what “The Game” is anyway, so our conversation was secure.

“He saw one of my special headbands in the hamper. I had forgotten it was there, and he asked me about it,” I explained. “I then told him the truth.”

“How did he take it?” Linda then asked. I then told him about his story at the camp, and that he actually seemed opposed to it at first.

“But with a little help from Dad, I talked him through everything involved with what we do, and that I find it enjoyable. He then decided to do it with me,” I said. I know I was being vague, but they knew what I meant, and I wasn't going to risk prying ears on a school campus knowing as well.

“That's good,” Sam said, as she took another bite of her lunch.

“I think it's best, as far as Logan is concerned, that we keep it just between him and me for a little while. At least until he becomes more accustomed to it,” I then suggested.

“Sounds reasonable enough,” Lucy then chimed in. Sam then decided to change the subject.

“So, do we all have Dates for the Prom?” She asked.

“Yes,” Lucy answered. I knew she'd be with Collin.

“Yep,” Linda chirped.

“Mm hmm,” Sam hummed.

“Nope,” I answered. They all looked at me.

“Katie, it's been several days,” Sam pointed out. I gave her a scowl.

“Yes, I know that, but unfortunately-” I started, and then told my story.

A few days ago...in the Café...

“Hey Kevin,” I greeted, as he turned around to face me.

“Oh, hi Katie. Something you want?” He asked me.

“I was just wondering if you'd like to be my date for the Prom,” I chirped.

“Sorry Katie, but I already have a date,” He said back. I just shrugged.

“Oh, alright,” I sighed, but in a polite manner. I then continued my search. I looked back, and saw Kevin approach another young girl. Her name was Charlotte, and she was one of Roslyn's friends. She was obviously his date.

“Hey Charlotte, would you like to be my Date for the Prom?” He asked her. When I heard this, it took all of my self control not to walk over there, and belt him across the table.

“I'm afraid I can't Kevin,” Charlotte answered. “Try and find Becky. I know she needs a Date.”

“I'll do that,” Kevin said. He then turned around, to see me in his face with my arms crossed.

“Already have a Date huh,” I snarled.

“Look Katie, I-” He started, but I cut him off.

“Oh shut up,” I demanded, and Kevin stopped. “Next time, just say no. I'd rather you did that then lie to my face,” I scolded, and then walked off. I was careful to trod on his foot as I passed him by, and he winced in pain.

“That girl is her own worst enemy,” I heard Charlotte say.

“The same could be said for your Handler,” I muttered to myself, and gave it no mind passed that.

Now, to be fair, a few of the boys I talked to did legitimately have dates. But there were several more who I could tell were lying to me, or just straight up said no. The one that gets my Fist-to-the-Face award, however, was...this...

“Hey Charles, would you like to be my Date for the Prom?” I asked him. He smirked at me.

“If you give me fifty bucks, I might consider it,” He told me.

“I should flatten your nose for that,” I snarled, and walked off, having struck out again.

Back to the present...

“So yeah. It was one excuse after another, and when it wasn't excuses it was lies, and when it wasn't lies it was extortion,” I told them. I then stuck my fork into my food rather aggressively, before taking a bite.

“Well, I hope you have better luck today,” Sam encouraged, but I shook my head no.

“No, I've decided that I'm just not gonna go,” I said, though it pained me to say it.

“Oh Katie,” Sam whined, feeling bad for me.

“I'm sorry, but it's just not fun for me anymore, and I see no point in making it a chore when it's not supposed to be,” I explained.

“I understand that, it's just-” Sam started, but Kelsey's arrival distracted her.

“Hello,” She greeted.

“Hey Kelsey,” We all said, in our own ways.

“Katie, do you have a Date yet?” She asked me. I shook my head.

“Nope, all of the boys here are scared of me, and I have Roslyn's lies to thank for that. I'm not stooping to the level Roslyn wants me to, so I'm just not going to the Prom this year,” I told her.

“Oh, I'm sorry to hear that,” Kelsey said, in a sympathetic tone. “Why is Roslyn able to get away with so much crap anyways?”

“Because she's the Mayor's Daughter, and The Mayor happens to be a good friend of the Principal,” I explained. Kelsey frowned.

“Oh, she's one of those types of people,” She growled.

“It's all about status to her, and to the cronies that blindly follow her every whim,” Sam added.

“So yeah, as far as I'm concerned, if the boys here are going to be this shallow, then they don't deserve to go out with me,” I stated firmly. “I'm just going to enjoy a nice evening with Dad, or Uncle Robert, or Both.”

“I'm sorry Katie,” Kelsey said.

“It's fine,” I insisted. “Just don't let this ruin your fun, Okay?”

“It just won't be the same without you,” Sam stated. I smiled at her.

“Thanks,” I said back.

* * * *

As soon as it was time for us to leave, I headed back to my locker to grab my backpack, and put my papers and books inside. As I was double checking everything, I heard a voice behind me.

“Hi Katie,” It was Kevin again. I glared at him.

“What do you want?” I snarled.

“Are you still looking for a Date?” He asked me. I guess Becky was already claimed.

“Nope, I've decided that I'm not going,” I told him.

“What do you mean you're not going?” He asked. I blinked at him.

“I'm not going!” I blurted out, word for word.

“Katie, I need a Date,,” He insisted. I folded my arms in front of me.

“Is that so? Are you sure you want to be seen with me? What will Roslyn say? Don't you want remain part of her club?” I asked him.

“That was then, this is now. I'm desperate,” Kevin begged. I just leered at him.

“Sorry Kevin, but I really don't care. You lied to me, and I'm not that shallow,” I told him. He glared at me.

“Roslyn was right, you are heartless,” He scolded. I just grinned at him.

“And I salute you as French,” I said back, and walked off, as he gave me a confused look. I'm so glad Uncle Robert told me about that one. If you all want to know what that means, then look up The Battle of Agincourt.

* * * *

I was really glad my friends took it as well as they did. Sure, they were a bit bummed out that I wasn't going, but they knew I wanted them to enjoy themselves regardless. After finishing our homework, and having dinner, Dad had arrived to pick me up as usual.

“How did they take it?” He asked me.

“They were a bit bummed out of course, but they took it well,” I answered. He responded with just a nod.

The next day was the day of the Prom. We did our school routine, and we all had to leave Linda's house early so that everyone had time to get themselves ready. I needed to get myself ready for a different reason though. I removed my school skirt, and changed into a pair of blue jeans. (Do I really need to tell you what kind of top I was wearing at this point?)

After having pizza for dinner, Dad decided to take me out to the shooting range to get in some practice. I knew Uncle Robert was there ahead of us, since I saw his motorcycle a few parking spots over. Just as we were exiting the truck, I heard my phone receive a text from Sam.

“Hi Katie,” She had typed.

“Hey Sam,” I greeted.

“Just wanted to see how you're doing,” She sent back.

“Doing okay. I'm at the Shooting Range,” I answered, and then waited a minute or so.

“Um, Katie? We can talk about this you know," She typed, which got a laugh out of me, as I knew what she was implying. I showed it to Dad as well. He also laughed a bit.

“Lol, nah. Just enjoying some time with my Dad and Uncle.” I typed back.

“Okay, just making sure, Lol. Cya,” She messaged next.

“Cya,” I finished, and then put my phone back.

I actually had to look up the Battle of Agincourt. Well played, friend.

Also I didn't know Katie was a marks(wo)man. Clearly I'm not doing a good enough job keeping track of the series heh.

Regardless, excellent update, I look forward to reading the next.

And now you know the origin of the most famous hand gesture ever. Last part for this one will be coming up shortly, (I hope.) I'm really looking forward to setting up the next one though. Oh, the fun Katie and Sam are going to have at other people's expense, (evil face.)

As far as her being a markswoman goes, I dropped a hint during Loose Ends, and another one somewhere else that I don't remember. Also, by chance were you able to answer the math question?

This is a continued great story, that I can never wait for the update to come. As far as Katie being a markswoman I kind of just assumed once I read that part that she was a markswoman from the influence of both her Father and Uncle being at one point in the military. I don't think that I noticed any hints in the stories though, but I could have and forgotten at this point. I do think that I am able to answer the math question, but I'd much rather read about it when it comes into the story.

I believe i was able. I'm going to guess that it starts with a K and sounds similar to a child sleeping.

It is a story for another time, but yeah, karma has a way of catching up to people like Roslyn.

This story has one more update on the way, and then I'm starting up the next one. It's gonna be a fun one for sure. One look at the title should give you an idea on what's to come. Hehehehe. >;)

Author's note: Sorry for the delay. I had the last part written, but I then saw the site was down, and didn't check back until recently. Anyways, here's the last part of Making the most of it.

Final part: In this part, Katie educates Logan in the use of her favorite accessory.

First day of Summer...

Yep, school was finally over, and the first day of Summer Break had begun. How did I celebrate? Why, in the best way possible: I slept in. the sun eventually did wake up though, and when I looked at my clock, I saw that it was ten or so. I decided to go ahead, and get out of bed now.

As I took my shower, I reflected on the school year. It was a wild one alright with all sorts of ups and downs. My grades were stellar, but with a few bruises here and there. Hey, I'm not perfect after all. Never the less, I was feeling very happy right now.

After my shower, and hair routine, I headed back to my room, and got dressed. I needed a strapless bra for what I was going to wear for this warm, sunny, first day of summer. I had been saving some funds on my green dot card, and picked up this wonderful summer dress...

https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com ... L1500_.jpg

After slipping the dress on, I turned to face the mirror to see how it looked.

“Oh wow,” I said aloud to myself. I particularly liked the natural flow it had. I was also glad that the bust was elastic, and not zip up. As for my hair, I decided to just leave it loose, and with that done, I left my room.

As I rounded the corner to head down the stairs, I had quite a surprise. I spotted Dad seated in one of the recliners, but I also saw that Logan was seated on the couch across from him.

“And speaking of Eye Candy,” Dad said aloud, once he spotted me. Logan also turned his attention to me as well. I kinda blinked, as I briefly tried to figure out what he and Logan might have been talking about beforehand. I decided it was in my best interests not to question it, (well, not quite yet at least.)

“Hi Katie,” Logan greeted.

“Hi Logan,” I greeted, taken aback at the fact that he was here. “What brings you here today?” I then asked, as I thought he had bowling practice today.

“I had some time before practice, so I thought I'd drop by for a bit, and hang out if that's okay with you,” He answered.

“It's fine with me. I just wasn't expecting you. That's all,” I said to him, which was true.

“That's a lovely dress,” Logan then stated.

“It is beautiful,” Dad agreed. I grinned.

“Thanks guys,” I said back, as I sat down in the unoccupied chair.

“I'm sorry about what happened to you at your school,” Logan sighed. I just shrugged.

“It's okay Logan, I'm over it now,” I told him. “What were two talking about before I came down here?” I then asked. Dad smirked at me.

“Nothing much,” He answered. My eyes narrowed a bit.

“See, now that just makes me more interested,” I pointed out. Dad blinked.

“Okay, fine. We were discussing how wonderful you look with your headband over your mouth,” Dad confessed, with a sly look. I knew what he was implying, and sneered accordingly.

“Ha ha,” I said, sarcastically.

“We weren't,” Logan then stated. I snorted a bit at his innocence.

“I know Logan,” I told him. Logan then looked thoughtful for a minute, before turning his attention back to me.

“Katie?” He asked.

“Hmm?” I asked back.

“Ever since you showed me your interest in this tie up thing, I've been wondering something,” He said to me. “What is the function of that headband?”

“You mean the one with the sock sewn on it?” I asked, looking for clarification.

“Yeah,” Logan said.

“I can show you if you want,” I said to him, with a perky smile.

“Sure,” Logan responded.

* * * *

I went back to my room, and pulled out two lengths of my fifteen foot length rope, as well as one of my black headband gags. I then headed back downstairs to see Logan and Dad chatting by the couch. Once I showed up, Dad took his leave, and headed upstairs to get ready for work.

“Okay, there are a few things I need to go over before we start,” I stated, as we both sat down on the couch. I went over gag safety with him. Like how you have to be careful with mouth packing, and to peel tape slowly, and things like that. I also went over the single most important aspect as well.

“Now since I obviously can't talk to you very well while I'm gagged, I have what is called a Safe Word,” I told him.

“And that is-?” He questioned.

“A safe word is a noise, or gesture that indicates when something is wrong, and that the gag or whatever needs to be removed,” I explained. “The Safe Word my friends and I use is snapping our fingers three times repeatedly,” I said, and did so to indicate what I meant.

“Oh, I see,” Logan said, now understanding. “Do you have a favorite type of gag?” He then asked.

“I like a few, but my favorites are the ones that go over my mouth like tape, or the headband here,” I replied. “I just find them to look the cutest.”

“Okay,” Logan said.

“Well, now I guess I should show you how this works,” I stated, and took hold of the headband. I then folded the sock over itself to form the wad. I then showed it to him.

“And that goes in your mouth?” Logan asked. I grinned at him.

“Yep,” I chirped. I then popped the wad into my mouth with the headband covering it OTM style. I then pulled the band over my head behind me, and let it snap in place. I also straightened the band out, so that it looked nice and neat. I then finished by shifting my hair out from under it as usual.

“That does look really cute,” Logan complimented, as I beamed at him. “I really like how it brings out your eyes,” He then added. The funny thing is, I had actually never thought of that until he had brought it up. Him of all people.

“Thhnk yhh,” I responded, which got a snort out of him. I then took hold of the rope.

“Oh, of course,” He said, and held out his hand to accept it, but I held out my hand to stop him. He did so, and relaxed himself. I then began tying my ankles together with the rope in the usual manner.

Once I was done with my feet, I grabbed the other length of rope, and gave that one to him. As he took hold of it, I turned away from him, and put my hands behind my back. Logan then began the usual tie, and he did a very good job as well. That was until he hit a bit of a snag.

“Um Katie, there isn't enough here to tie it around your waist,” He pointed out. I had forgotten about that part. “Should I just wind it around a bit more to use it up?” He then asked. I nodded yes, and felt the rope move around a few more times, before I finally felt the knot being tied to finish it.

I tested my bonds out briefly, and saw that I wasn't escaping from them. Well, to be fair, I could, but I just chose not to. I turned around to face Logan, and show him just how beautiful I looked when I was bound and gagged. Logan's thoughts, however drifted a bit elsewhere.

“So, what do we do now?” He asked. I blinked a bit. I was so excited about being tied up and gagged again that I didn't think that far ahead. I just shrugged in response. “Would you like another foot rub?” He then suggested.

“Mmp!” I squeaked into my gag. I scooted a bit down the couch so that I was sitting with my back, and bound hands up against the cushioned armrest. I then set my feet on Logan's lap, and he began rubbing them just like last time.

“Well, you certainly treat your captives nicely,” Dad said, as he was coming back downstairs, now with a jacket, and his shoes on.

“Hhph nnsh hnnpph tg nnt tcckkll thmm. Nnllkke yhh!” I scolded through my gag. This earned me a bewildered look from Logan. Dad just laughed. He walked over to me, and gave me a kiss on the forehead.

“I know you love it when I tease you,” He said.

“Mm shht uph,” I snarled.

“I don't think she does,” Logan pitched in. Dad looked over at him.

“Oh, she won't admit it, but trust me. She does,” He said, as if dropping a hint to him. I knew what it was to. The thing is, Logan doesn't strike me as that kind of a person though. “Well, I have to go to work now,” Dad then said. Logan then looked at the clock on his phone.

“Oh, yeah, I have to get going to,” He then stated. He then untied me, and I removed the gag from my mouth. “Are you going to be here alone Katie?” He then asked.

“No, I was going over to Sam's in a bit,” I said, and with that, we all went our separate ways. This was simply the beginning of an eventful summer.
