Sorry, I update my stories in order of which has gone the longest without a post.
E.G. I post a part to a story I last updated last week before one that was last updated yesterday, if that makes sense.
So I'll be getting to this one soon, but it's not at the top of the priority list.

Part 2 -

Emily was excited.

She had finally - FINALLY - managed to find a Friday night where she was free.
Her two best friends in the world - Scarlett and Sara - were sitting on the floor next to her.
The three were sharing gossip and secrets about school life, giggling as they told each tale.

It was perfect. Perfect!
All they were missing were some boys...

She voiced that very thought to her friends.
Scarlett, lying on her front, winked at Emily.
"What's that cute neighbour of yours called? Is it Will, or something?"
Emily went red. "Yes, Will. What about him?"
Scarlett grinned. "Well, he's pretty dishy. I wouldn't mind heading over and...kidnapping him!"

Emily smiled at her friend's audacity.
"As fun as that sounds, Will's away this weekend. So he's not an option."
Scarlett pouted. "There's always next time, I suppose..."

Emily turned to Sara, who had been very quiet.
"Sara, what about..." she began.

But Sara shushed her.

Emily and Scarlett glanced at each other.
"What is it?" Scarlett asked.

Sara looked up, her face pale.
"I think someone's in the house with us!"

Part 3 -

The other girls stared at Sara.
"What do you mean?" Emily hissed.

Sara shuddered.
"Listen..."

The three girls kept silent, not moving or breathing.
And indeed, they heard something - someone - moving around below them.
There was a small crash and Sara covered her mouth to stop herself screaming.

"What do we do?" Emily asked.
Scarlett got up.

"I've got an idea."

Part 4 -

The other two girls looked at Scarlett, wide-eyed.
"Well go on then!" Emily hissed. "Don't keep us in suspense!"
Sara nodded in agreement. "Tell us!"

Scarlett looked serous.
"Listen, there's three of us and only one of them, right? That's what it sounds like."
The other girls nodded.
"Well then we outnumber him," Scarlett continued. "I suggest we go down, overpower him and capture him. Then we call the police."

"What if he has a gun?" Sara asked, nervously.
"Then we have to make sure we surprise him," Emily said, warming to the idea. "I think we can do it."
Scarlett smiled. "It's settled then. Ready?"

Emily nodded, determination on her face.
They turned to Sara.

The third girl swallowed nervously.
"Ok. Let's do it."
