Although we have had the "occasional accident", it usually been nothing more than a bit of rope burn because the ropes were tied too tight. No game is completely risk free, but we've found following the precautions listed below reduces the risk to as near as zero as they will ever get.
- Only play bondage games with people you know and trust really well. Never play with mere aquaintances and beware of group scenes.
- ALL participants MUST consent to the games and no one should ever be forced, tricked or pressured.
- ALL participants MUST be free from the influence of drugs, alcohol, tobaco and any other addictive substances.
- A readily recogniseable danger signal MUST be agreed BEFORE the games start. Once given, the games MUST stop IMMEDIATELY and all restraints MUST be removed.
- All restraints MUST be quick release in case of emergency.
- Captives MUST NEVER be restrained face down, especially on soft surfaces such as beds.
- Gags MUST NEVER be used as the risk of choking is too great. Hoods, masks and blindfolds are quite safe as long as they don't restrict breathing.
- NEVER suspend the captive by any part of their anatomy.
- Captives MUST NEVER be left alone for any time longer than going to the bathroom or making a drink. The captive MUST be face-upwards, and MUST consent to being left alone.
- Although it is perfectly safe to sleep with a captive, they MUST consent to this, they MUST be face upwards and any hoods or masks MUST be removed. They MUST be able to wake you or call a third party in an emergency.
- Within the limits of humand endurance and decency, there is NO time limit for any bondage games. The captor MUST check the restraints periodically, even if the danger signal is not given. The captor MUST also ensure the captive is kept well hydrated.
Above all - just enjoy yourselves!
