When does being tied up no longer become fun?

I have dealt with many tied up games since I was a child. Some was really exciting and fun when light torture is used on me. I would not like to be put through heavy torture such as electrical, ice, and fire like depicted in my fictional stories nor be put through hard pain. Once, I was at my friend's house in the barrow in St Paul, Minnenapolis. We had fun, and he decided to play a tug with me. He handcuffed my hands behind my back, but he did not tell me that it was his Dad's handcuffs, and his Dad had lost the key. I was stuck in it for hours, and when police came and removed it, my wrists was sore and red. I was embarrassed to have to go through that, but that is an example when tied up games is taken to a level in which it is not fun. Have you ever had a tied up experience that was not fun?
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

I've been trussed up for over ten hours, so spending long periods tightly bound isn't necessarily a problem, as long as the person doing the restraining knows what they're doing. There's nothing worse than a tie that cuts off circulation, causing a hand or foot to go numb. Other than circulation issues, there are few things I'd rather do than be tied up/tie others. Oh, yeah.... "vanilla" ties have totally lost their appeal. By this, I mean sloppy, simple ties that most of the general population thinks of as "real" bondage. Otherwise, let's have at it!

The only tie-up I was involved that wasn't fun for me was when I was about 8 and my brother left me tied to a tree all night in just my undershorts. I was practicaly eaten alive by mosquitoes and nearly caught pneumonia besides. My parents had been away that night so didn't know I was missing all night until afterward, but a boy scout found me before my brother returned for me and so my brother caught Hell for it. Didn't stop him from continuing to tie me up, but this was the only time he did it without keeping an eye on me or otherwise doing it in unsafe conditions. Otherwise, never been in a TUG I didn't love from start to finish.
The only other one that came close was when I was made to think I was being kidnapped by three kids I didn't know when my cousins left me tied up out in thewoods and the other kids found me later. They lived in another farm a mile away and took me there still tied up instead of letting me go and locked me in their barn. I was scared at first but also thrilled (perhaps I was naive, but I couldn't believe other boys my own age would *really* hurt me or keep me prisoner for long), and once I realized it was a set-up by my prank-loving cousins, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The second one sounds kinda fun =P But the first one? Nottt so much xD

Ive enjoyed pretty much all of the tie ups I've been in! The only times I can think of where I haven't are times when I've REALLY not been in the mood but my protests are ignored because Ben assumes I'm just playing up to being the damsel - but he usually catches on pretty fast. I guess the only other time was when I'd been seeing a guy and I agreed to let him tie me up - he knew I wasn't up for anything hardcore but he took it a bit too far anyway, so I wasn't too happy about that!

But as far as time length goes - as long as its good, no amount of time stops it being fun =P
