For us old guys, just looking at the picture makes me think where I left the lineament.
However, for those under 25 there is another consideration that may not reveal damage for many years later. Both the Knee area and the elbow area are two of the remaining soft and still growing parts of the skeleton and being softer, the potential for damage is higher. Likewise, the tendon and cartilage mix supporting the kneecap was not designed to withstand that kind of direct pressure.
Sooo --- tie 'em that way and leave them on the bed to have fun with.
