Since there's already a thread about music, why not also about books?
What are you looking at? Finally put a gag in my mouth and play with me!

Right now, I'm at my computer, but when i was 10-11, there were kids' books, like "Rin Tin Tin and the Ghost Wagon Train," and "Fury and the Lone Pine Mystery. When I got older, there was "Children of the Covered Wagon," on which Disney's "Westward Ho! The Wagons" was based; "The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters," which won a Pulitzer Prize, and "White Captive of the Souix."

Just finished reading The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx.
Next up is I Am Ozzy by Ozzy Osbourne and Rotten by Johnny Rotten.

Probably not the kind of books most people here reads, but i like those books that gives away life experience and wisdom.

A few months back I finished the Wheel
Of Time series by Robert Jordan. After 14 books, I was still so invested in that universe that I had a hard time finding the urge to read anything else. So, upon the suggestion of a friend, I have begun rereading the entire series. Haha, already on book 4.

Fantasy? Would you recommend it?

Yup, fantasy. Sorcery, good vs evil, kingdoms at war. HIGHLY recommend.

And though there are some glaring similarities, the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind is very good as well.

And while I'm recommending series, Stephen King's The Dark Tower is also great.

If you want a good, long series (10 books). Called the Belgariad (first 5) and The Mallorean (second 5) it's like a Medieval, lots of very well written characters. The story line is very grabbing too. There are parts that get to be political, but I defiantly didn't mind as it paints a whole lore and backstory for you.
