A lovely piece of hate mail

Postby zanev » Sat Mar 10, 2012 5:40 am

I just now (a few days ago) was given access to the message board email (the @tieupgames.net) email. Daniel, who owns the server of this board normally runs it.

Here is a email we got, that I want to share...username left out so I can say I protected privacy:
You people had a very nice site. Then you had to screw with it
,I have tried to log in 2 times. Had to change my user ID . Worked fine
yesterday but not to day. Way don't go out and play in the yard? And
leave the WEB SITE
Alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A
very
pissed
off
user.

I responded asking what error this person got and its been 4 days with no reply. I think I will go and play in the yard now.

And reminisce of those palmy days

As long as I breathe
I'll call you my home

I personally have had NO problem logging in here since the recent changeover. Maybe the problem is with their browser. In any case, they should have been somewhat moe patient and polite; *I* certainly would have been. It was probably a user inexperienced with online matters.
By responded though, do you mean a pm or a standard email? If the user is having real problems logging in, they might not even be able to access their PM inbox and thus be unaware any attempt to help was ever made. Your PM reading as received does not mean it was actually read; only that the person accessed (or tried to) his inbox since the message was sent; something I found out by experimentation.

he said to go play in the yard, im guessing he hasnt been in touch with society for the past 50 years and doesnt know there are other ways to pass time besides playing with rocks and sticks

Seems like they could very easily ask a computer expert how to access pms on here unless they are afraid of people finding out they use this website.

What I say is, a town isn't a town without a bookstore. It may call itself a town, but unless it's got a bookstore it knows it's not fooling a soul.

I have no problems but the last few days I've logged in and seems like no one has posted anything new at all. But I will still keep logging in
