How would you tell a friend?

Postby JohDizzle1995 » Fri Dec 30, 2011 4:03 pm

I know this may be a simple question, but I've kept my feelings on TUG's to myself for many years, and I am considering telling a friend about it. But I have no idea how I would bring it up in conversational and explain it without coming off as too weird, any help?

Whatever you do don't be abrubt about it. this is something that you need to take slow. Maybe if you two hang out have a roll of duct-tape sitting on your desk and they gradually bring their attention to it.

I can attest to Reaper's suggestion.
I ALWAYS make sure to have a roll of duct tape around. I've gotten to enjoy many a tie up game through doing that.
As for actually telling them your feelings about TUG's, again, I'd take it slow. Start by joking about it to lighten any possible tension.

I dunno if i would have tape or rope or something like that lying around when you FIRST bring it up, he'she might think you were trying to con them. One thing you could do is watch a TV show where someone is tied up and say "I bet I could get out of that" (assuming you want to be tied up). Or you could just lie, and make up a fake friend and say he/she was getting kidnapped for a game and see what your friend says.
Also, whether you and your friend are male or female, straight or gay should be considered too.

Thanks for the help, I've already tried light heartily joking about it to some friends, which almost always comes up as a weird look or they dismiss it completely. But I'm not going to risk a more direct approach XD for obvious reasons. But I'll keep on trying.
