While it's not exactly recent, I did stumble upon this article today.

Similar to other cases that have been posted on here, it does signify the dangers and risks that are involved with TUG's. So many of us (myself included) dream of the day when we will have our own bondage partner to engage with. So much so that safety measures and limits are sometimes overlooked in our excitement. And the results can be costly.
I know it's boring and takes away from the spontaneity of the situation, but please be careful. I'm speaking to everyone here, even if you're like me and may not have a partner yet. Remember to act responsibly. Be sure to establish clear guidelines ahead of time so that both parties know what to expect. Routinely check for circulation issues, as well as trouble breathing and dehydration. Also, in the case of heavier bondage, establish a safe word or signal. And DO NOT leave someone who is bound and gagged unsupervised.
These may seem like blatantly obvious suggestions, but as we've seen here they can often be overlooked, and both parties can end up paying the price. Have fun and stay safe.
