Even if someone does use the history and finds this site, they are going to wonder who was on it reading all the stories any why and still get singled out. I agree though, if you use a name like chris12 and that's also an e-mail account, then yes, I wouldn't use it. Otherwise, Chris is a very popular name.
You may have missed a key point I was making concerning minors using their names on this site. You said parents might wonder who was
reading all the stories anyway. A kid caught at
that could probably explain this with a glib lie, especially since merely reading stories in a site doesn't indicateany involvement; the kid could've stumbled on the site by googling it (which is how *I* found this site!) and left again immediately. But having some of those stories with his actual name actually attached to them?

Nope! Involvement is proved then. Then the egg would
really hit the fan for that poor kid!!!
Obviously of course this reason doesn't apply to me as far as my parents are concerned, but a google search of my name can and
would lead to this site, just as using the username I actually use does.
Try googling
Tyme115 if you don't believe me; when I googled
that, I i
mmediately found
this topic !!!
In fact one other person changed their username because he discovered the ease of this and had used his real name.
Anyone who already knows you who happens to google your name
can and will find your posts here - unless you have a very common name like John Smith!!! MY real name, as it happens, IS easily traceable because of a fairly unusual first and last name combination, so... unh unh for using it here!
Dare to be different... and make a difference.
