Kidnapped

Postby DMC13 » Mon Feb 25, 2013 7:16 pm

To an extent, I could say I would enjoy being kidnapped. I mean, there's the helplessness, the adrenaline, and of course, TUGs!
Anyone else?
I don't care.

Depends on the situation, being in the military and a MP on top of that I have actually done "TUGS" in real life situations similar to this and there have been a very select few times were its been enjoyable like that. As long as it was a ransom type scenario and i knew i wouldnt be hurt I think I would get some enjoyment out of it in a glass half full type of way.
My name says Spreadeaglealltheway but I like all ties!

I was once fascinated by the thought as well, but recently the kidnappings I've heard are now different. The chances of the hostage getting freed by the kidnappers after ransomed is slim now, in order to protect the kidnapper's identity.

Well doing a kidnapp in real life is all good fun when it is planned in advance and knowing what either person wants out of it. I have done this a couple of times where they are kidnapped for like a weekend but i have been asked a couple of times to keep them captive for a week... But before this happens you need to talk to the person and do like a contract so they know what your limits are

Kidnapping has a sense of adventure to it, in that you're taken away by someone and lose all control and it has a sense of danger. It really is no surprise it's a curiosity for many and a fantasy for some. But you would not want to be kidnapped by somebody for real. Bad things tend to happen in those situations. This is probably why kidnapping role play appeals to many people. You get the same sense of helplessness and adventure without the danger and terror of the real thing. It also probably explains those companies which offers to kidnap and hold people for a day or so for some ungodly amount of money, which is probably as close as you can come to the real thing without actually experiencing it.

and lets face it...in RL things aren't fun and sexy and the poor victim is sometimes abused in horrible ways...so yeah in RL - no way! for fantasy by a trusted captor? and if I had time off? haha would be fun! now who gets to pack the RP costumes? hehe :D

That's the attitude to have. Although if you were really kidnapped it would be easier to explain the time off to your boss, I guess.

Yeah this is one thing that should remain a fantasy. It was a bit of dark humor from me on the kidnapping thing.

There's a company in like france or something and you pay them to kidnap you for a few days.
I don't care.

I was 'kidnapped' - sort of - by kids I didn't know at the time when I was 14, but it was all a set-up by my cousins who I was living with at the time. Scary and thrilling at the same time, since I was young and naive enough to be certain that kids my own age (one was in my own grade, one was older, and the third was younger) wouldn't really harm me. Of course, I might not have been so sure if I was growing up in the 21st century rather than the late 1960s/early 1970s!!! If they'd been adults though, I'm sure I'd have wet myself in horror - I knew that adults were capable of anything bad!
Though it was a set-up, it was as exciting as if it were real, because they did their best to make me think that it WAS real! Wasn't hard; I was pretty dumb in those days!
Another attempted kidnap of one of the neighborhood kids by his friends didn't go so smoothly; his parents caught us and weren't very understanding! In fact, we were shot at! So yes; even play kidnappings can go wrong if not planned out very carefully!
Dare to be different... and make a difference.
To boldly go where no one in their right mind has gone before...

Realistically it's no fun. Well depending how the kidnapper restrains you and if he/she feeds you gives you water tortures etc

Unless they are professionals, I think kidnappers would simply make sure you won't escape. Heck, they may not even restrain you and just lock you up in a room.

900 Euros. That's kinda expensive lol. But definitely worth it.

Oh look, they said you'll be bound and gagged! Awesome!
