so, what I have often thought about for us tug members is the first time. And I don't mean the first time that you got tied up or tied somebody up, because I don't think a majority of us got started that way. It, in my mind, would be synonymous with looking at somebody (boy or girl) and finding your physical body responding, realizing what you felt and thought for them.

Now, what was everyone's first moment of eureka? What was the first moment that made us think ," What is this all about?" Anyone who knows me knows that my first moment was Aladdin. And I think I liked it before I realized what I liked and what it was about. What was it on his face? Why was he chained? What was the purpose? These thoughts ran through my head countless times, and I taped myself thousands of times before I figured it out.

What was yours? A comic? A movie? A book? A show? A face to face encounter? A drawing?

The one that always stood out in my mind was a Thundercats two parter, where the first part ends with Lion-O entering Mumm Ra's lair. I don't remember the specifics, but I know somehow he ends up trapped with, I think, his hair caught under a door and then suddenly all of these bandages start mummifying him out of nowhere. It then ends with him mummified and struggling on a cliffhanger. For the longest time I could never figure out what episode it was and I thought I imagined the whole thing but I later learned it was the movie, which I think is between the first two seasons. Like you, I was too young to know what mummification was or why I would like it eventually, but it's always one of the first memories that sticks out in mind.
