OverLooker provides some good points in his post. Perhaps start out watching a movie and making casual comments. Then try to work towards a discussion where you explain how some people (yourself included) like tying / being tied up. You may want to stress the difference between friends playfully binding eachother and the stigmatized world of bondage. Like many of us you don't want to hurt or dominate anyone, you just wish to have fun. Best course is to be honest, the worst thing that can happen is you become that token person that's into it in your friend's group, and this will give you opportunities later through word-of-mouth.
I use to really fear folks "figuring me out," but the reality is that you will meet more people like you by being up-front, and while your friends might say you have this thing for "women struggling in clothesline with a handkerchief stretched across their mouth" you also are a good friend and have virtues that make that just one of your personal peculiarities.
To tie or be tied? I'm not one to care as long as there are gags!
