Making new friends after moving (please reply if you can)

Postby Oohmynameisblue » Mon Jan 02, 2017 2:34 pm

So soon ill be moving just under 200 miles from where i currently live. Ill know nobody.

New house, new school, new town, new county. Ive never moved before. Im kind of excited but literally its quite scary. Ill know none of the teachers either and will have to choose new subjects.

So because i know nobody there, can you give me tips on making friends in and out of that school? I'm also worried because
A) im very quiet
B) im rubbish at sports
C) they might already have their friends and not want to be friends with me

Please reply to this, its quite important, even if its only a small bit of help. If i mess up ill be really lonely.

Making real life friends is tough, just try to look approachable. If they think you look like a nice person, you'll do fine.
I have ocs or whatever

Find the biggest, meanest kid in school, and kick him in the nuts. You'll earn everyone's respect.
Obviously, I'm joking.
Just be the best you that you can be. Give 'em hell, kid.

Be yourself, if you try to hard it will show. Second talk to people share interest like shows music movies or whatever you like and can talk about. The most important thing if you have trouble talking to people ask them about themselves. People love to talk about themselves and often like people that let them do it. Be confident you'll be fine being new is scary but it is far worse in our head then it turns out being. Lastly if things do start going bad just do what the other guy said and kick the biggest mother fucker in the nuts lol

Your shy that cool let other people do the talking. Ask them questions about themselves and show interest. People tend to like people that let them talk about themselves.

Sports are fun but not for everyone. Only a dickwade will dislike you because of how you are at sports. I bet you don't want a dickwade as a friend

Yes they will have friend but there is no limit on how many friends one person or group will have. You will find friends and be ok. Have faith in yourself and it will be ok

If you're in a new school, first make good relationships with your teachers and partners in class. If you take active part in a class, you're bound to gain some positive attention. Joining clubs is also good, as they usually help you gain new friends. Trust me I've been there, if you let it flow naturally, it'll go the best.

Wearing a shirt that promoted your interest can help. If you wear a shirt with your favourite band/tv show/sports team/whatever, somebody may notice and strike up a conversation. "Oh hey, nice shirt! I like ________ too!"

I know some people will consider this horrible advice, but alcohol makes it easier to make friends, haha.

Just make friends by finding common interests.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.
