I'm sorry if I did something wrong

Postby Opinionated » Mon Nov 08, 2010 5:47 pm

Before temporarily departing with feelings of depression and loneliness I noted 2 pms sitting unread in my inbox.

If somehow in my absence the two people who sent the pms deleted them (I am not sure if that's possible) I AM sorry and hope they can understand I was feeling VERY down and out and needed to retreat. That is, run away a while.

If - I mean, if, I hurt or offended anyone, hopefully, they will understand I wasn't feeling well, had and hold nothing against them, and would they please, now that I feel better, pm back me again.

If it is something else I need to make right, I will do that too.

Maybe I'm asking for a lot. I hope not.

As long as you are feeling better that is all that counts in my honest opinion. Welcome back.

It IS possible for the sender to delete PMs before they are read - but not afterward (not by the sender that is). I myself have gotten several PMs wthat were so deleted before I read them. However, there is always a message in the inbox clearly stating that this is what happened, and also who sent them so there is no mistake. If you got no such message and don't know who sent the messages, then AFAIK the only deletions would have been only by yourself (perhaps accidentally) or some misunderstanding has taken place. The messages will stay in your inbox until read, unless your inbox gets flooded beyond its capacity of 100 (reads and unreads together), in which case I think the oldest either disappear or get shunted to the outbox.
