Interactive Progressive story

Soul_Rebel brought up the diea for he and I to write an interactive story together. I decided to start this up Soul. Let me know if you like it,I guess I will actually know if you add to it. If you don't we can always come up with something else. Anyway here goes.

Rob was a two year beat cop who was now patrolling in the same neighborhood he grew up in. Things were usually pretty quiet except for the past two weeks. Young men from the age of sixteen to thirty started to disappear without a trace. Rob was only 22 himself and would have rather joined the state police force but he had a slight heart murmur which kept him from being able to join. So he took the next best thing and became a town cop. He didn't mind it so much but his girlfriend wasn't very happy that his partner was a woman. Officer Sheila Smith was her name and there was a reason why his girl was mad. Officer Sheila was a stunningly beautiful woman with more in common with Rob then he had with his girlfriend of one year.

It had been business as usual for quite sometime on the job. It was the usual thing most of the time. Traffic violations and accidents as well as a few domestic disputes and a couple of petty robberies but now things had changed because of the disappearings that had been going on for the last two weeks. Rob wanted to solve this mystery before anymore of his friends disappeared into thin air. Two of his friends went missing the first week of this unusual mystery. He sometimes wondered if he might be next. Altogether there were now ten guys missing. The evidence showed that they were all abducted. The bad things is that is the only thing they had to go on was they were all abducted.

So Rob and Sheila kept their eyes open on their second shift patrol. It was all pretty quiet on their shoft on this Friday night. The usual teen parties fizzled out because of the abductions. The young guys were staying at home now instead of going out to the lake and having their keg parties.

A few weeks went by and no one had been abducted. But the local cops were still trying to solve the case. Against orders Rob decided after his shift was over at 11 pm he was going to investigate the case on his own time.
(getting tired cause it is getting late, will continue more later unless Soul writes before I do)

So Rob stopped to see his girlfriend for a while and then told her he was going to investigate the abductions on his own. On his way out to his car he noticed rope sticking out of bag on her sofa. Rob picked it up as she walked behind him. "What's this?" "Wow I thought you were off duty, you're always so suspicious,it's rope for the clothesline Rob." He put it back down, turned and kissed her deeply and apologized to her.

As soon as he reached his car his girlfriend got on the phone and made a phone call. Rob drove around and stopped to ask people questions about the ongoing investigation. He had to be careful though as he might get himself into trouble.

He stopped by the park because he saw some people near the benches. As he walked toward them two women and a man disappeared behind the trees. Then he heard the man yelling for help and ran into the tree area. He stood there looking around and saw the man on the ground tied up and gagged. Rob reached into his pocket for his cellphone and was knocked out with a blow to his head from behind him.

WHen Rob finally woke up from his ordeal he was handcuffed in front. It took him a while to get his key out but he managed to uncuff himself. There was no sign of anyone else as he walked through the park looking for clues or anyone who might still be there. He wondered to himself why they did not take him prisoner. Not that he'd wished to be taken but he thought it was strange because he was in plain clothes and did not have his badge with him.

He finally ran back to his car and called his partner on her home phone. There was no answer and then he tried her cellphone. She answered right away. "Sheila it's Rob where are you?" She told him she had gone out get some aspirin for a headache. He explained to her what happened and she met him at the park. After she arrived there they called a possible kidnapping into the station.
