I have decided to post another story. The last one I posted I felt for the most part was a success. This story unlike SOME of the last one is going to be completety original. Although some of the inspiration for some of the story has come from various people on the site.

Undercover Spy Mission Gone Wrong.

I have been a spy now for the national government intellegence agency (NGIA) for some amount of years. I have carried many missions which included some work such as information gathering, torture and some other type of work of a very grisly nature that I would rather not describe. I was considered the top agent in the business. I did not think that I would ever be caught and betrayed by a mole within the the organization, and put on trial for treason.

It all started when I was assigned a mission to find out why the country of Hugo and the oil that the country supplied kept rising in price. Rumors where that the country paid terrorist to blow up some of their refinaries, and therefore make the price of oil go up and make the country more money. In their eyes of the government, some dollars spent and a few human lives was all worth it if they could get a big monetary return out of it.

My mission was to infiltrate the government secret headquarters and find documents or any type of evidence that could be used to prove what the NGIA thought was going on. I was going to be alone on this mission with my only contact to be someone inside the Hugoen government. I had learned a saying long ago that no one was to be trusted, but unfortuantely I was forced to do so here. It got me burned.

I was in my office one morning in the capital when I was handed a mission notice to be briefed and sen t on my way as soon as possible. My flight was to leave as soon as the briefing ended. The NGIA director cautioned me to be careful as this was the riskiest mission they have ever deployed someone on, and I was the best man for the job.

I departed on a commercial flight fo r the country of Hugo. The flight went pretty much uneventful. I was able to slip past customs at the airport with the phony papers. The NGIA had booked me a hotel room in a low key part of the capital city. The captial city of Hugo was like any other city excep t in was in the middle of a desert where it was always hot.

The city contained high rise buildings. It also had slums and rich areas of town. The streets were all made out of cobblestone. You could hear any car of person that would pass down the street. I was able to check into the hotel and rest from the long trip. I was able to grab a bite to eat after my nap. That night was only going to be a recconnasence night.

The operation was going to take place the folowing night. The contact that I had in the government was only to be contacted if I felt like I was in danger. He could then find a safe way to get me out of the country. I dinner I made my way to the government building. I had a pistol in my pocket and my watch camera strapped around my arm where I could take surveilance pictures.

I walked all the way around the building which covered a half a mile around. I made notice of guards and where all of the security cameras were located. After my trip around the building I decided to go back to the hotel to plan out my next moves and await tommorow night when the fateful operation was to begin. As I went to bed I could not even begin to dream about the events that were going to unfold and change my life forever. To Be Continued.

Sorry It has been a while since I have posted. But without any further delay here is Part II of the epic saga of the Spymission Gone Wrong.


I awoke the next morning to sounds of cars going down the cobblestone streets. The time was around mid morning, and I had gotten a very good night’s rest. I was able to shower and get dressed and eat breakfast in the hotel. The Hugoan diet was made up of mainly a diet of fresh fruit making it a very nutritios breakfast, one of the last good breakfast that I would ever eat. The day was pretty much uneventful.

Finalay nightfall came. I sneaked out of the hotel that night. I was able to find a public restroom where I changed into my disguise, which consisted of a janitor’s outfit. This outfit and matching pass would grant me access to most places within the building. The building was multistoried with many offices to search. I successfully got pass the guard with my pass. I was to meet my contact inside the building. He was going to provide me with my janitor’s cart and tell me where to search for the increminating evidence. I would pass the occasional guard.

I would make my way into offices not finding much except for the occasional paper. I searched every office to no avail. I started to get a tad bit suspicious when I did not find the evidence where I was told it was supposed to be. I should have been more suspicious and even abandoned the mission, but I decided to press on. I finally got to an office that was the jackpot. I came across the paper that was a copy of the signed order to disrput the world’s oil flow. The room was dark, and I did not see anyone as I had entered the room.

As I had just picked up the paper and had it in my hands, I heard the click of a hammer being cocked on a pistol. I froze as I know that any move could be my last. The lights turned on to reveal a room of 5 guards armed with AK-47 machine guns and semiautomatic pistols. Standing behind the guards was the “supposed” loyal informant. He was a double agent.

But unfortunately for me that fact became evident all too late. I was told to back carefully to the middle of the room with my hands raised and to kneel on the floor. Two guards approached me and went to search me. They took my gun off of me and the piece of paper that I was holding that was the incriminating evidence. I was then told to put my hands behind my back. I was handcuffed with a pair of hinged handcuffs. A leather belt was put around my waist and the cuffs were locked to it with a plastic box going around the cuffs to keep me from trying to pick the locks.

I was then stood up where a pair of short legirons were put around my ankles effectively hobbling me. A chain was then ran from the leg shackels back to the leather transport belt shortening my range of walking even more. I was then roughly hauled to my feet where my government contact known to me only as John said, “ Sir you are being charged with treason and impersonating a government employee. You will be put on trial before the whole world. Both charges are executable offenses. Death will be by hanging if you are found guilty.”

I knew that I had one thing going for me that if this trial was going to be as public as they said that it was going to be then it would at least have a fair shot of being an honest trial. The Hugoens were famous for executing and jailing people on circumstantial evidence alone. It was guilty until proven innocent. A very large ball gag was then forced into my mouth and buckled very tightly behind my head not allowing me any time to protest. A leather hood was then forced onto my head by one of the guards not allowing me to see where I was being taken.

After all of that I was taken outside of the government building into a waiting police paddy wagon where my leg shackles were locked to the floor of the vehicle. The trip in the paddy wagon seemed like it took about three hours or more. It was very painful to have my hands locked behind me for that length of time. The paddy wagon soon came to an abrupt stop. The doors were opened. I was taken inside of a structure where I went down several hallways and was abruptly stopped and a door opened.I was shoved inside of a jail cell that was no bigger than a 5x5 room.

It had a sink, bed, and a toilet. That was it. There was no light or window. I was then uncuffed and unblinfolded and told to put on this swimsuit like thing that almost resembled a speedo except for that it was orange. The gag stayed in. And to make sure that it stayed and I did not remove it, a padlock was added to it. The big iron door then clanged shut. I quickly changed into the prison uniform not wanting to give the prison guards any reason to get upset.

After a few minutes the guards came back in and proceeded to recuff me and put legirons and the leather transport belt back on me. I was told that I would be in my cell at all times except when being interrogated or at the courthouse. There would be three meals a day. I was to stay handcuffed behind my back and gagged except when eating. Once I was fully restrained the door clanged shut leaving me in total darkness, which I new would be a form of psychological torture as they tried to break me and get the confession that they required for a swift trial and summary execution.

But I had been trained to withstand almost any torture. I now layed down on the bed contemplating what terrible things awaited me. But I could not help but drift back to the thoughts of “john” whom I had learned to trust, being a traitor. To be continued.

My thoughts were interuppted when some hours later, a man dressed in a suit walked into my cell. He identified himself as Cal, short for a very long name that now evades my memory. He was to be my lawyer provided by the government. It would come to no surprise to me that he was payed by the government to try and throw the trial in the prosecution’s favor. My hands and limbs were still restrained.

The guard that walked in with Cal unlocked the padlock that held my muzzle gag on and removed it. The guard was to stay with Cal the whole time undoubltly to report back everything that was said between me and the lawyer. Cal informed that since this was to be a public trial, that I would not be tortured. It would cast a bad image upon the Hugoen country as a whole.

I should also mention in this country there is no such thing as attorney, client priveledge. I discussed the entire case with the lawyer being careful not to give out any information that could to serve to incriminate me. After this my gag was promptly put back in and the big iron door slammed closed again leaving me in darkness. I feel asleep on the small bed until early the next morning.

The door opened a guard came in with a red jumpsuit. I was told to change clothes because I was to go to court for a pretrial hearing. I was uncuffed and ungagged long enough to be able to change into the jumpsuit. The guard walked back in with what looked to be a straight jacket. It was white filled with lots of buckles and restraints. I did not resist as the guard put the jacket on me buckling the various buckels on the jacket. My arms were folded across my chest and secured threw a strap that prevented me from being able to remove my arms from my chest.

Once this was complete a pair of short legiron were applied to my legs. There was another guard that was coming down the hallway with a mobile restraint chair. “Is this overkill or what,” I asked the guard. He said, “There is going to be zero chance of you escaping.” The chair was brought in. I was forced into the chair. At least three heavy leather belts were buckled and padlocked across my chest holding my midsection down.

A strap was buckled across my forehead preventing movement of my head. At least three more straps followed across my knees and two around each ankle locking them down. The ankle straps forced my legs apart as far as the legirons would allow. The chain of the legirons were locked to an eyebolt protuding from the foot rest on the chair. I was totally and utterly restrained where I could not move any muscles except my jaw. The guards promised not to gag me as long as I kept quiet. I was wheeled out of the complex and into a waiting van.

It had a lift on it similar to a handicap van. The chair was padlocked into the lift where it could not move and was lifed into the van. The van then took off. The trip was unevenful except for the mounting pain from being in such a strict position. Finally the van arrrived at its destination which was the courthouse in the captial city. As soon as the van pulled up it was stormed by the media with cameras and other items. I was not allowed to speak to them and was quickly hurried inside. I was wheeled into the court room where my so called lawyer was waiting. He asked me what I planned to plead.

I said, “Not guilty!” Court came to order with the judge walking and taking his seat at the bench. He said, “ In the case of the PEOPLE VS. THE DEFENDANT how does he plead.?” Cal said, “He pleads not guily your honor. “ The judge then said that the trial would be set to begin first thing in the morning. He also said, “Sir for the record, you are being charged with espionage, and the penalty for such a crime is death by hanging. You will be returned to jail until such time that your trial begins. This court is adjourned.”

I was then quickly wheeled out of the courtroom and back into the van being kept away from the media frenzy. The van that I came in was returned to the jail. I was taken back to my cell and released from all of the restraints only to be handcuffed and regagged for the night. As the cell door slammed closed, I knew that there was no way that I would be found not guilty and execution was only a matter of time.

I went through the process of being cuffed in my cell for the next week. Finally the day of my trial approached. My cell door banged open and two guards were standing in the door, one holding the chair that I was to be restrained in. I was taken and restrained in the chair except for the fact that my hands were left cuffed behind my back. I was loaded down in the van and taken to the courthouse.

The entire courthouse had been barricaded off and no media was allowed in except for the court trial where it was going to be televised. The government had set a limit that the trial would conclude in one day no matter how long it would take. The jury was made up of members of the Hugoen government. I was screwed from the start. The judge walked in and banged the gavil. She said, “This court is now in session. Prosecutor please call your first witness.” The prosecutor called the man that betrayed me. He was asked some questions by the prosecutor.

Then the security tapes were played with the traitor narrating what happened in the tapes. The prosecutor then finished with the witness. Of course Cal had no questions for the witness. I was not allowed to speak or to fire my lawyer for fear of being gagged. The prosecutor called other witnesses that completely help to corroborate the government’s case. The prosecutor then rested his case. A brief recess from the trial ensued. I was taken to a small holding where I was uncuffed and allowed to eat a less than hardy meal for lunch.

After one hour the court was reconvened. Cal was instructed to call his witness, which happened to be me. I was not even asked a question that would even make me seem even the most remote possibility of being innocent. The prosecutor did not even bother to cross examine. I was rolled back to my seat beside Cal and had no sooner gotten there and announced that he was resting our case. I could not believe it and I started cuss him out for being a worthless lawyer. The guard immediately ran over with a roll of oversize duct tape and proceeded to wrap it around my head about six times effectively gagging me.

The judge dismissed the jury to deliberate. I was taken back to the holding cell still gagged and handcuffed. After about 2 hours I was taken back into the court room where I was ungagged under the threat of worst punishment should and outburst happen again. The jury came back in as did the judge. The judge said the jury foreman, “ What is your verdict?” He said, “Your honor we find the defendant guilty of espionage.” My heart dropped with fear. The judge said, “ Sir do you have anything to say before I pass sentence upon you?” I said, “Your honor I was only doing my job. Please consider that in your ruling.” The judge said, “I sentence you to be hanged at high noon tomorrow. Until then you will be remanded to the jail at this courthouse.” I was then taken out of the courtroom and back into the cell that I had been in. I was uncuffed not restrained at all in the cell. After a few hours a guard dropped by and asked what I would like for a last meal.

I told him that I would like my favorite meal of steak and a baked potatoe. It would be given me tomorrow about an hour before the examination. Day had turned into night and I could not sleep knowing what would happen to me tomorrow. Night finally turned into day. I had not been allowed any visitors. I was told that the NGIA has denied any knowledge of me as is customary in any case of a caught operative. My last meal was brought to the cell. I ate it and it was actually pretty good compared to some of the meals that I had been given prior to this point. I ate and the plate was taken away by a guard. Six guards soon after appeared at my cell, one of them holding a lot of restraints.

A leather belt was strapped around my waist. My hands were then cuffed behind my back and padlocked to the transport belt. Then a twenty foot chain was then wrapped around my upper torso and it was also padlocked to my waist. A pair of short legirons were applied to my ankles. I was escorted out of my cell and back outside where a scaffold that was about 10 ft off of the ground, was awaiting me. There was a crowd of people as this was going to be a public execution. I was taken to the scaffold where I climbed the steps . I was put into position where the trap door would drop and I would go through it. A black hood was inserted over my head and it plunged me into darkness.

The noose was then put around my neck and pulled tight. It was a short noose so more than likely it would not break my neck on the way down, so I would have to choke to death for it to come. I would soon meet my maker. The executioner dismount the scaffold where he stopped next to the lever that would send me to my death. All that was needed was the command of the judge. They started a countdown from 10. 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, said the judge. “ 0-PULL THE SWITCH” The executioner pulled the switch the weights engaged opening up the trap door. I felt the noose tighten around my neck and start to pull me down when all of a sudden……….

Sorry to have to stop here but I was post the conclusion to this story tomorrow.

Ok here is the long awaited conclusion to the story:

As I left off I was being hanged for my crime. You may wonder how I escaped and am still here to tell you this story. Well I shall tell you. It is often said that dreams may seem very real and in fact some can turn out to be a foreteller of eventes down the road.......

As the trap door released I started to fall through it. The noose found my neck and tightened up around it proceeding to choke me. I tried to reach out with my hands to remove the rope around my neck, but as they were cuffed behind me that would do no good. So I just sat there dangling when all of a sudden I sat bolt upright in bed. I was broken out in a cold sweat. My own hands were around my neck and I was coughing. I was freaked out and not many things can scare a spy. I decided to get on up and go into the NGIA agency early this morning.

I got dressed and went to work. The chief of the NGIA was in my office when I got there. He said, "We have a mission to the country of Hugo for you. Your job is to find out why oil prices are spyraling out of control." The only thing that when through my mind was " OH S%^T !!!" And so my journey began.

Hey, I'm surprised that NOBODY else commented on this story. It is quite good, the only thing is it could use more dialogue and there were a few errors. For example, the last statement of part 3 should read: "I felt the noose tighten around my neck and start to pull me UP", not down. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable story. I liked how you set up the execution. Two things I would've changed though:
1) I think you should've been hanged wearing only the orange speedo and nothing else. Would've made a public hanging more entertaining. 2) Instead of simply waking up from the hanging, have a group of allies save you by shooting the rope. Then some fighting commences, in which you are untied by someone and let somewhere safe. Then have the adventure continue from there.

Anyways, it's your story but these are suggestions.
Sorry I can't talk now, I'm a little tied up at the moment.
