oh, Dann, we are just alike. I am fantasy all of the way, well most of the way. I also like some sci-fi, and high school plots. I see an infinent number of possibilities unfolding before me. Creating characters is one of the best parts of writing.
Okay, onto plot possibilities....humm...lets see now. A kingdom (or two, or plant if you want sci-fi, or school if you want that). A prince (princess, warrior, servant to the king, ect., alien, human, ect, star football player, baseball, women's softball player, ect, ect) take your pick. They get kidnapped by 'the enemy' tied, and questioned for information or something along those lines.
If it's fantasy or space then maybe they get away and is trying to get home to warn them or stop something, and gets taken by smugglers, kidnapped (again), ect ect.
It may be a common sounding plot, but that is what sub plots are for and great writing
