I'd say rumor is an understatement. They were definitely at odds.
Normally I don't support GOP causes, but I think that lately Obama is handling the whole Mid-East situation pretty badly.

Every policy in 2nd term obama administration is controlled by the white house inner circle. Not by departments.

Hagel was not a member of Obama's "inner circle," and there are rumors that it was not so much a disagreement with Obama that got Hagel fired, but rather, he pissed off Valerie Jarrett. That rumor has not been verified by anyone, but I don't consider it to be outside the realm of possibility. The only person closer to Obama than Valerie Jarrett, is his wife, Michelle.

He has an official adviser? As in just one advise, and that one with an official title?
No wonder people are making so many jokes about 'His Royal Highness King Obama the First'. I thought grand viziers went out with kings and queens.
Also no wonder he's doing such a rotten job of running the country lately. :worried:

he has many advisers. Even though there are departments of x, y, z, he has advisers advising him on those issues. Same with Bush but Obama has dozens or hundreds of advisers on defense, state, even how to shit.
