Interesting post with a video on zip ties from Lifehacker.

I'm not sure if anyone uses zip ties. I don't care much for them personally, but thought it was an interesting vid.

There's another video somewhere that shows how to use a bootlace to the same effect when hands are zip-tied in front.

A) Zip-ties are not fun! They fucking hurt!
B) Not to be such a spoil-sport: don't tie the victim's hands palm to palm! But, if you raise their wrists behind them, and then tie with wrists pointing in opposite directions, that is also really painful especially as it becomes more difficult for the victim to keep his/her wrists raised and the ties dig in deeper as the wrists drop. I recommend NOT using zip-ties or, as we civilised people say: cable ties.
