When In Maine

Postby JJTauzell » Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:59 pm

This story was from about two weeks ago, when I spent a couple of days with my friends in Maine. My friends were Jack Brenton, Ricky Bennett, Josh Goblirsch, Torey Kennedy, Riya Souen, and Ben Karls. They look like this...
Jack-Reddish-brown hair, blue-gray eyes, and very pale and sort of skinny. He's average height.
Ricky-Brown, almost black, hair, coffee colored eyes, tan skinned and average weight. He's pretty damn tall.
Josh- Curly short black hair, green eyes, pale skinned and average weight. He's kind of short.
Torey-brown hair, brown eyes, tannish skinned and average weight. He's pretty tall.
Riya-Black hair, brown eyes, naturally tan skin, and skinny. He's actually kind of short.
Ben-Curly-ish dirty blond hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and skinny. He almost as tall as Ricky.

Anyways, it was Jack's birthday, so we went camping in Maine-where his mom lives. It turned out to be quite a stupid idea, as it rained way too much. There was one day when the rain stopped for about eleven hours. We sat outside, staring at the sky and talking. Ricky poked me in the side with his middle finger, causing me to laugh a little. I guess Ricky found that as amusing, so he kept doing it. Until I got up and sat down beside Jack.

"You guys wanna go swimming?" Ben asked. We all said yes, and walked down to the river. We didn't bother changing, so we just took off our shirts and jumped in. I accidently jumped on Ricky, and it actually kind of hurt.

"Ow!!!! Jeez, John! Watch it!!" he yelled in my face.

"It was an accident." I said quietly.

"Sure it was!" he yelled back. I edged away. Ricky crossed his arms across his chest, and walked off. All the guys stared at me. Ben walked over to me and threw his arm over my shoulder.

"GOSH, Ricky is such a GIRL!!!" he said dramatically. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Thanks. You're my best friend, too." we heard. We all turned around. It was Ricky.

Yeah, we're dramatic like that! Lemme know if you want part two!

Part Two-SIDE NOTE: The names used in this story only consist of last names, first names aren't even close. Well, besides Jack's of course.

Josh, who is normally a quiet guy, laughed. "Jeez, Ricky! Take a joke!"

"Um, I don't think Ben was joking." Riya said.

"Shut up, Riya!" Jack said. "Yeah, seriously Ricky, Ben was joking." Ben nodded quickly in agreement.

"Yeah, totally." he said. Ricky rolled his eyes.

"Sure, whatever." he said, and turned to walk off. I followed after him. He turned to face me. "What do you want?" he asked hastily.

"I'm sorry for earlier. And I mean it: total accident." I said honestly. He nodded, and we walked back to the cabin-which is quite large.

"You do realize a price has to be paid for you jumping on me, right?" he asked. His question sort of caught me off guard.

"Um, what exactly did you have in mind?" I ask.

"You'll see." he said, with a smile that sort of made me nervous.

DON'T WORRY- Next part has TUG, okay?
I'm me, can you compete with that?

Part Three-

I didn't take much thought into what Ricky had been talking about, and I didn't care enough to ask-It didn't seem particularly interesting. But when I woke up the next morning, handcuffed to the bars-or whatever they are-of a picnic table outside of the cabin, I cursed Ricky inside my head. Why I couldn't actually do it? There was a lot of duct tape that kept me effectively gagged. Worst of all? It was raining-quite hard. So, I had to lay out there, on the ground, not being able to do particularly anything. It wasn't until about fifteen minutes later that Ben came out of the cabin. He smiled at me. "You know, you're a really heavy sleeper, right?" he said, removing the tape from my mouth.

"Why didn't you stop him?" I ask, sort of mad. He shrugs.

"Because I got to steal your gummy worms." he said with an evil smile.

"You're such a child." I said, while he unlocked the handcuffs.

"You have to admit I'm not as bad as Jack." he said. I stood up.

"You're okay." I say. He laughed.

That's actually all there was TUG involved...besides Ben and Ricky's fun. They got really into messing with each other.

Luckily for me, I like the rain. I would be pretty damn happy living in Maine!

Okay, I know where that is. It is pretty nice up that way too; pretty quiet too.
If you went through Portland on the way you probably passed within a mile of me.

If you took the coastal route (surely you observed *that*) up from New Jersey, you probably went through Portland, as Columbia Falls is also on (or at least near) the coast as well. Unless you went by plane most of the way.
Remember *any* towns, landmarks, or route numbers along the way? Or were you too busy asking "Are we there yet?" every few minutes or playing videogames? :big:

Nice. I'm not very much of an "are we there yet" person, although. Well, not always, anyways. I can be patient...that is, if I want to :).
As far as things go with the route, I'm pretty sure we took the coastal route, but I'm not entirely sure. Or maybe we did, and I'm just being stupid today. :)

Oh well; no big deal.
But if you ever come to Maine again, I can guarantee you can find one Tug partner who is happy to be a tie-up practice dummy without expectation of tying you up as well in revenge. :D
