I always knew my own peculiar (and I do mean peculiar) interests were things not to be talked about as a young kid, too. Never discount instinct.
Hope to hear more of your TUGs experiences.

Nice to see someone else whose interest in bondage began as early as my own. Isn't it funny how we felt the need to hide something so pleasurable? What made us think that getting tied up was wrong? I've long been fascinated/puzzled by this question.

Glad that you've emerged from lurker-dom!!

I will try to write some more, but there are only one or two more events that I can think of that would make an interesting story.

There is a prequel to the above story which is one of the early things that boosted my interests, but it doesn't involve any TUGs as such so I'm not sure it is permitted.

AFAIK anything is permitted provied it is not too obscene, deliberately inflammatory, or has absolutely nothing to do with TUGs (and there are sections here even for that last one). So if it's an account about something that got you interested in TUGs, that sounds relevent enough to me. I say go for it. The worst that will likely happen is that no one will comment on it at all.
