Stories with a plot.

Postby mikeybound » Fri Nov 04, 2011 12:56 pm

It seems like people just talk about who tied who up, or when they were jumped, and that's fine. But come on! What were you feeling? What was going on that day? Why can't these stories be flushed out a bit?

Well, I write stories by stretching out the plot with as many details as I can.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

My story plots in my original writings here are simply designed to draw readers into wanting to read more.
From whence I came and whence I went heaven said I was too evil and sent me to hell. Demons and devils succeeded in breaking my soul.

I dunno - I think allot of peeps just write.
Some have plots / others just dont
For once I agree with Lonewolf
Real stories tend to have no plot; as in real life - there is no plot; it just kinda happens.
In fiction - all plots apply
Everyone has theyre own styles
Example: I was tied up and gagged real tight - see right to the point - no plot
Example: She intended to tie me up real tight; then silence me with a gag, the plan was set - plot
I just hope my stories / life experiences - come accross on paper; as well; as I relive them in my head :D
Just sit back, and enjoy the rides...

Surely Sarobah, probably our most literate contributor, gives the lie to the "real" stories don't have plots argument? Perhaps some list makers just don't have the ability to convey feelngs, character and an interesting story line? Perhaps it doesn't matter?

I dont entirely need a plot on this site. I read half of these stories for the senses. I like when people describe the stickyness of the tape on their skin or the gentle hug of rope around their wrists. That's why I try to make most(all two) of my "stories" descriptive as possible.

Humm...I never really thought of that as the problem. Thanks TUfriend!
