Doug and Scott were getting ready to perform a musical
number. It was from Annie Get Your Gun.
Doug had lost an obi bondage contest with boy scouts from
Yokohama Polytechnic Middle School. Rather than involve the
whole troop in the penalty, he and Scott had agreed to perform
a song from the musical of the Japanese boys choice.
Of course that involved wearing fundoshi. Doug was to wear
a blue bandanna one and Scott was to wear a red bandanna
fundoshi.
When Doug once viewed a Japanese video of local boys in a
athletic event, he saw the boys wearing them. "Why are those
boys wearing gags in their butts?" asked Doug perplexed.
Scott explained that they were a local custom.
Of course the boys from Japan explained to Doug and Scott
the importance of "flossing" before putting their fundoshis on.
"I sure wouldn't want to get skid marks on this material" said
Doug.
Doug was not as reticent to wear one as you would think. He
did relay some disappointment to Scott about one aspect of
the garment.
"When I farted, I thought it would make it sound like a shot
from a gun with a silencer, like a spy movie." said Doug.
It was time for their number. "Break a leg" said Doug. "Pass
a stone." said Scott with a smile.
They went out and sang "There's no business like show business!"
It brought down the house. The vice squad was called.
