What about a G rated tie up games section?

Postby trammel » Fri May 03, 2013 3:35 pm

A lot has been added to this site. Why not a section for those of us interested in reasonably innocent tie up game experiences, without all the bizarre sex and extreme fetishes. Just an idea. That used to be pretty common here!

I can see that becoming either controversial or confusing.

How? I find it controversial and confusing to start reading what I think is an innocent story of a tie up game and it leads into a story of the writer's perverted sexual deviance! I'd rather not read that!

Then how about you don't read it then?

Personally I like the adult tie up games but then again I'm an older person but if you don't like a story no one is forcing you to read it man. :)

I see both sides of the issue. I came on the board as a 13 year old, but even then I could maneuver my way around the site

A majority of the stories any more wander into perversion sooner or later. Don't read them? How does one know until...there it is!

That's the problem. I do and, trust me, it's ugly in all sections. No "childhood tie up games" here anymore!

Why would you want to read about tie up games if you're not sexually interested in them? Personally, I find it odd that some people would rather read about small children than grown adults. And if you're not interested in tie ups for sexual reasons, why bother reading about tie ups at all? I mean, there's nothing interesting about tie ups if you don't have a fetish for it. That would be like me reading a story all about tickling. I don't find it arousing, so a story about tickling would be no different to me than a story about random people doing nothing at all. It sounds like it would be completely boring to read about tie ups if you're not sexually interested in them. I mean, what other interest could there even be?

So then on this basis you should only ever read things that get you sexually aroused then?

Dose reading the newspaper get you excited? Dose reading the instructions on a microwave meal? Dose reading a novel? Their are lots of different things that you read that don't get you sexually excited, so why are you saying people should only read this if it dose?

Not everybody finds tie up's sexually arousing, and not everybody has the same views as you.

Your argument is a bit flawed. Very few people have a sexual fetish revolving around the newspaper and microwave instructions, or reading non-erotic novels. But, very many people have a sexual fetish involving bondage/restraint. To me--and I'm sure to many others on this board--bondage and sex are intrinsically linked. And perhaps this is misguided or presumptuous, but I do find it (how do I put this delicately?) curious (?) when others don't make that connection.

Yes, it's true: not every experience revolving around tie ups is necessarily going to involve sex, especially if they're stories of younger kids. However, I'd say that most adults here get turned on by the idea of being tied up or tying someone up or watching someone get tied up, etc.

But, generally, yeah...read what you want to read and steer clear of the other stuff. If you stumble upon something you don't like, there's always the back button.

Sure I'd like to be tied up but only for the purpose of being tied up and struggling. I definitely would not want weird freaky stuff done to me or read about those type of acts. So I enjoy these "innocent stories" because I can vicariously experience the kinds of ties up I've never been able to due to my family and upbringing.

I understand your position Christian though it confuses me. See I think we had simaler upbringings where I never knew about TUGs and bondage until I was about 15 and even then it was an alien concept to me seeing as my parents were not familer with the subject matter so they thought it was werid when I tried to do it and tried to convince me it was wrong.

But while we've both never experinced a true TUG where you and I differ is the fact my love of bondage and being tied up and gagged is interlinked with my desire for sex. I enjoy both so I do get a joy out of reading those stories.

Plus most of the users (including me) seem to incorperate bondage and TUGs into their sex lives. Innocent stories exist, you just have to read the title and what board or sub-board it's posted in. Again, you find something you don't like? Press the back button.

You say my argument is flawed, but you don't get, thats the whole point of it.i People read stuff not always because they will get sexually aroused by it. People can read what they want to red, it is up to them. You cant really go around and tell people they should only be reading it if it turns them on as thats not your right to go and say that to people.

Also remember, not everybody is the same, not everybody will find it sexual to the same level as you, or maybe some people are crouius about what people find so interesting about it and read it out of courisity. Not everybody will always want to read it for the same reasons as you, so you should not go around telling them why they should be reading stuff.

Also i find that stating their is a back button on people browsers is also not helping anything. If people have managed to get onto this site hopefully they know how to work a computer or at least a browser...

When I say sexual aspect, I specially mean the really perverse (is that the right word?) stuff. I don't mind stories of casual sexual bondage between couples, boyfriend/girlfriend, etc.
And I would hope to find a woman who's accepting of these interests. Hard part is finding one with scaring or freaking others out

Re: What about a G rated tie up games section?

Yeah, that's the hard part but there are sites out there that deal in that particular nitche one might say.

Also I'm curious, what is it that you consider really perverse? If you don't want to say here PM me alright? ^_^

Re: What about a G rated tie up games section?

I didn't say you have to be aroused to read something. Don't twist my words around. I was saying if I wasn't aroused by the fetish of bondage, I don't see how TUGs could possibly be interesting to read about. I love video games, I grew up with them, but if I read a story about kids playing video games I would find it incredibly boring and pointless.

Re: What about a G rated tie up games section?

Postby elanshof » Sun May 12, 2013 3:39 am

I suppose my point was more along the lines of something like this: You probably shouldn't be too surprised to read a story you find "perverse" when you're on a website that deals with a sexual fetish.

Re: What about a G rated tie up games section?

Postby SamanthaBoundx » Sun May 12, 2013 8:30 am

You know, it would be really nice if people on this site would stop referring to other people's personal preferences in bondage as "perverse" or "bizarre".

Can I point out that ALL of us are here because we enjoy bondage. Whether we like it in a sexual way, or whether we prefer to keep it clean, no one on this forum can deny that they enjoy bondage. And the reason that you come here to discuss it is because this is a safe place where you can share your feelings on the topic and not be made to feel like some sort of deviant weirdo. In terms of how people out there in the real world think, we are ALL deviant weirdos for our interest - even those of you who like it for non-sexual reasons. That's why you come here to discuss your interest rather than shouting about it to your friends.

So can people please just show a little more respect? You might like your bondage to be non-sexual in nature, some people like to involve sex in their TUGs, and some people like to incorporate any number of things, from tickling, to pain, to scat, to well . . .any number of things! The fact is that we're all a little "weird" for liking these things, no matter what our level of interest - but this is somewhere that people can come to NOT feel weird about it. And it's quite pathetic to resort to calling people bizarre, perverted, immoral little deviants simply for not adhering to your ideas of what is "normal" and "right".

For the most part, people do stick to the guidelines set in the story sections. Most people save their intimate TUGs for the intimate section. And if you happen across a story that is in the wrong section and isn't to your taste, then just navigate yourself away from it - you are under no obligation to read it. But slagging off people for their personal preferences in bondage just because they don't match yours? It's highly hypocritical, and moreover, it's just plain rude. . .

I agree with Sam and wish there was some way to "like 2 or thumbs up her post (like you tube and facebook)

I do have one comment which does not insult anyone's preferences for sexualr arousal or liking ofr bondage.

It is unpleasantly surprising when I start to read a story which at first sight seems to be innoent and posted in the PG 13 section to suddenly find it has ideas which I find offensive. If I read a story in the intimate section I take my chances that there may be something I find untasteful, If I read in the non-intimate section i don't expect sex.

I have quite reserved tastes on the stories in some ways. The title is "Tie UpGames" so I prefer stories of fun and consensual play, not violence.

I feel like something has been overlooked as an argument, but first of all, behind you 100% Samanthaboundx, very nicely put. Back to my point, yes some people might not like what they find in a story. No one, however, is entitled to the right to not be offended. I do not like reading stories that involve the male being bound. When I open up a story and it becomes clear to me that this sort of thing is exactly what I've come across, I hit the back button and forget about it. While it might be a good idea to be a bit more strict as to making sure the explicit sex stories don't end up posted in the less mature sections, I do not believe anyone should have their day ruined simply because they read something they did not like.

You know it's people like you that get my blood to a boil. You don't have to find it sexual to like it, yes some people find it that way but not everyone. Some people love it simply because it's fun and it encourages trust between both parties. I see it as nothing more than something fun to do with friends. If you want to put the sexual stuff in the stories fine, but don't try to force it on other people.
