A different kind of scare

Postby Boundforglory » Thu Sep 21, 2017 9:53 pm

I had this idea after hearing a friend talk about a haunted house he went to. I thought it would make a good story.

(for simplicities sake im really only going to describe Eve, her friends dont really matter.
-------------------------------------

"C'mon guys!! it would be fun!"

Eve (todays victim (: ) was sitting with her friends in the cafeteria at the University they attended. There was a general hustle and bustle that always came with lunchtime, and Eves little group of friends were deciding what they would do for the weekend.

There was a nearby haunted house that was infamous for being more than simply a bunch of cheap scares. It was an experience that could last for as long as 2 hours, with each attraction being more terrifying than the last, and the chance that you would get separated from your friends and sent down different paths. Eve had thought this was simply a neat idea, until she heard from word of mouth that some customers go down a path that would get them tied to a chair and gagged while the chair moved forward through the hallways. When her friends heard this, they all thought about how awful that would be, but Eve couldn't have imagined a better opportunity. It had been her dream for years to be tied up, and this was her chance.

She had planned for weeks how she would find an excuse to go, and who to go with. The group sitting around her now were the people she knew would be the most willing to go through with it. She sat at the table with 4 others, 3 guys and another girl. Eve was waiting for her friends to discuss the plan that she had suggested, and was pleased to see them accept it as willingly as they were.

"Sounds fun." replied one.

"I think this will be interesting" said another.

Eve smiled to herself. Soon she would have a chance to live out the fantasy she had imagined, even if she had to go through a haunted house to do it.
---------------------

The day arrived, and Eve waited anxiously the hour her friends had decided on. She sat in her living room, wearing her favorite red tank top, her jeans, and her black boots. She giggled to herself with pleasure as she played with her long brown hair. This was the basic outfit she usually had imagined herself being tied up in. As she walked to the meeting place they had decided on, dozens of thoughts went through her mind. "How do i know ill get the tie up option? What if one of my friends gets it? Would they give it to a guy? Surely the ones who do it would be looking to do it to a pretty girl like me." Before she knew it, she and her friends were together and on their way.

As they approached the building, it looked menacing enough. The building was 2 stories, and it was plenty big to have everything it was said to have. The outside was dark, the windows occasionally flickered with light, and the only inviting thing was the open door where they could see the female desk worker waiting for the next group of people crazy enough to want to scare themselves senseless. As they walked in, the woman greeted them with a smile, inviting them closer. They paid the entrance costs, and were given a waiver to fill out. As Eve looked at it, she realized there was more than just legal information. At the bottom, there were boxes with descriptions that detailed certain aspects of the tour that could be opted out of. They entailed things like being separated from the group and whether or not you wanted certain portions of the experience. Eve only saw one that she needed. "Are you willing to be tied and/or gagged?" She put a check on that before signing the paper. Her friends discussed the options, and while one of the guys thought it would be fun to be by himself, the others opted to stay together and have fun that way. They all handed in the waiver and the desk worker gathered them together, looked them over, and Eve could see a faint smile as she stopped on one of them, and looked towards Eve. "You are Eve?" She felt intimidated by her stare, and slowly nodded yes. The woman smiled, and asked for the other details the others had mentioned. Still, Eve was starting to feel nervous. Something seemed off about that stare, and she couldn't shake the feeling that had captivated her.

Sorry its off to a slow start, but I dont have time to finish it right now, but ill get to the next part as soon as i can.

I know the feeling of not having time heh. Good on you for putting up something, though. No rush, update whenever you feel like.

Ok, im back

-----------------

The woman led them to a door and said to wait inside while everything was set up for them based on what they had asked for. They walked through the door into a dimly lit room. They heard, "when the next door opens, you can begin." before the door shut behind them. They waited in silence, wondering what would come. looking towards the door they would pass through, they suddenly heard a scream from the other side, from a woman, which surprised them all, before it ceased as quickly as it had started, and the door slowly opened into the room. The friends all looked at each other, some smiling, some feeling apprehensive, and some with a combination of both. Eve began to wonder if it would be worth it as they entered the next room. It was dark as could be, but they could see it was a long hallway, with a faint light at the end, which they moved towards. They could see doors on either side of them all along the way, and walked in silence before one of the doors began creaking open behind them. They all turned to face it, before they heard a door slam loudly behind them again, in the way they had been walking, which startled them even more. They all faced forward, and began to walk slowly, trying to be ready for anything. Eve had stopped for a moment, and ended up at the back of the group, and took her first step forward as a hand clamped over her mouth and an arm grabbed her from behind. She let out a muffled cry before being pulled into the nearest door to her left, before the door slammed shut as she was pulled in. She heard a lock go into place as her friends called to her from the other side of the door. "Are you there? Can you hear us?" Did you request this?" The hand was released from her mouth, and Eve called out, "It's fine, I marked that im okay being alone, this is probably my part." She heard footsteps moving away on the other side of the door, and she was pulled back into the room before being set in a chair. A man walked in front of her and crouched down. He pulled at her legs while she felt her arms pulled behind her by a second man. Her arms were tied tight at the wrists, and her ankles as well. She felt excited at the idea that she had finally been tied up, and didn't feel like anything could make her doubt that, even if they were going to try to scare her.

That was when a rag went over her mouth, startling her, and she breathed in the chloroform as she wondered what was happening.

She woke up feeling sick, unsure of what had happened. She couldnt see anything, and as she tried to get up she realized she could barely move. She slowly began to find what they had done to her, as she discovered her arms and legs were still tied as they had been before, but now they were even tighter, and felt thicker. She was lying on the ground, which was hard and cold on her bare arms, and discovered she had been blindfolded, but they hadn't gagged her. She called out, "Hello?" To anyone who might hear. After a moment she heard footsteps, then a door opening, and then someone coming right up to her. A hand gently touched her cheek, startling her, before saying, "If you stay quiet, we wont gag you." The voice was a familiar one, and as her blindfold was removed she realized why. Before her stood the desk woman, who had given her such a strange suspicion, was standing in front of her as her captor. She was in different clothes now, ditching the formal desk attire for a black t-shirt and jeans. "Would you like to know where you are?" she asked, and Eve simply nodded, afraid that saying it out loud would get a gag for her. She was hoping this would be some extreme idea that the haunted house had had, but she already knew that there was much more in this. "You are in our safehouse, where we bring all the girls who leave themselves vulnerable while I'm nearby." Eve didn't understand at all, and it must have been obvious, because she continued, "I go from place to place, all over the country, and find jobs wherever I can. Eventually they realize what a great worker I am, and stop worrying about me. Then we move in and take someone. Sometimes its a co-worker, and sometimes a customer, whichever is easier for the job." She stooped down over Eve, and ran her fingers through Eve's hair, smiling all the while. "Sometimes we get lucky and the family doesn't call the police, and takes care of it themselves. We've made a small fortune doing this. I wonder how much your family will pay." She held up the blindfold she had removed and replaced it, even tighter than before. "Remember, no noise, no gag." Eve heard the footsteps leave the room, and the door shut behind her, as the footsteps continued down the hall.

Eve sat up in the dark, and moved around until she found a wall to rest against. She pulled against her bonds, but didn't make much progress before she heard noises from outside. More footsteps, coming closer and closer, until they passed her and continued walking out of earshot. She sighed, hoping for a miracle. The situation couldn't have been worse.

She waited for what felt like days, but knowing it couldn't have been more than 1, since she hadn't had anything to drink since she woke up. Once again, footsteps in the hall, that came closer, and this time, opened the door. She heard the click of heels in the room. She knew it had to be the desk woman. She knew it was her when she heard her voice in the room, saying, "Your family agreed to our terms, and will send your uncle who lives the closest to you. Eve looked down, feeling completely defeated, not having done anything to aid her situation. She looked up at where the voice had come from and asked, "Why would you do things like this? It cant just be the money." Eve heard a loud laugh at her comment. Then heard the response. "Because its fun. I love the way you look when you're tied up, and I simply found a way to earn money doing what I love. Whats wrong with that?" Eve couldnt do more than look down again, as she heard the woman talking about how the deal would happen, but she didnt care enough to listen to everything, just when it would be over, "-and they will arrive 6 hours from now with the money we asked for. Just wait until then." Eve heard the footsteps start to leave, then stop. "You didn't think I'd forget did you?" She heard the woman come closer, then felt a cloth shoved in her mouth, then her head pulled forward as a scarf or something was tied around her head to keep it in. The scarf was tied tightly, then the woman left, leaving her more defeated then before.

As she waited, she grew anxious, and began to move around the room. She was simply passing time before her foot brushed against something. Unsure of what it was, she searched for it with her hands before she found it. It felt like a small piece of glass. She touched the edges lightly and could tell that it still had a sharp edge. She tried to move it up to her wrists and managed to reach it. She almost started cutting when she realized she probably wouldnt be able to get out of the building on her own. She wondered what to do, before she decided to hang on to it, and kept it in closed in her hands.

The door finally opened, and she heard much heavier footsteps move towards her. "One of the men," she thought. She was picked up and carried over his shoulder down the hall she had never seen. She heard the woman speaking, but couldn't make out what was said. All she focused on was keeping her hand closed over the glass. "It might not even work," she thought, "but i have to try something." She was thrown in the back of a large car, probably a van, before she heard the engine start, and felt them moving forward. She rolled over, and sat up, finding the side of the car, where she leaned against it. She heard two voices talking in the front, so she assumed they were distracted. She opened up her hands, and managed to get the glass up to her ropes, as she had before, and slowly moved it against them. It was slow, since she had to barely move to avoid seeming suspicious, but eventually she realized the ropes felt looser, before she finally cut them completely. She kept her hands behind her, and moved the rope out of sight. That was all she could do for now.

The car finally stopped, and the engine turned off. She heard the front doors open, and two distinct doors slamming shut. She was alone. She quickly took off the blindfold, and reached down to untie her legs. When they were free she sat up and looked out the front window as she removed the gag. They were outside of town, on a dirt road with grass and trees on the sides. She could see a police car and two officers on further away, and the two men standing near the car. She could hear them speaking but couldnt make out what they said, and looked around the car. She looked to the back, where she saw the handle to open the door, and moved to it quickly. She opened the door and flung it wide open, then jumped out and started running. She looked back as the police, who had seen what happened, started moving towards the two men, who were oblivious, who started threatening them with Eve as their hostage. Eve hid behind the nearest thing she could find, a wide tree, and watched as the men went to open the car to use her as a hostage, to find that she had gone. The police took them down and arrested them, and their backup came moments later.

Everything was done
