Escaping

Postby Kyle » Sun Dec 27, 2009 7:17 pm

I thought I'd start a thread on escaping being bound. I know some people don't want to escape but sometimes there is a challenge of escaping involved.

For those who do try to escape, how often are you able to succeed? Do you have any special tricks (besides the obvious ones like "use scissors to cut through rope")?

I ask this partly because I have talked my way into an escape challenge for tomorrow night and it got me thinking.

Well I mostly just know about selftying, so all I can say is feel around for knots. While seltying is usually tied in a way to make knots easy to reach, the opposite is true for tying someone. Still, they might mess up and put them in reach.

always be flexible! When being tied up, try to flex your muscles so that when the person is done tying you, there's a chance that there's a bit of slack. But if your limbs are tied separately (i.e. spread-eagle or separate limbs to chair legs and arms) then that's almost impossible without some sort of material (scissors) to help you out. But yeah, feel around for knots and struggle to lossen bonds. Hope that helps, good luck!
Tie me up, put a sock in my mouth, I promise I won't struggle~

When I am not testing some new way of tying someone up (some things at first sound great, but then reveal themselves to be very...escapable), my "victims" very seldom manage to escape, despite their attempts.
