They will be gone, then what?

Postby haloguy » Mon Jun 14, 2010 1:13 pm

My school lets out on the 18th, but my mom is going to be gone after that for 3 days somewhere on business, and my dad will be at work for about 8 hours at a time. I will be all alone that means for 8 hours, with nobody here, but my cat, and me, and lots of stuff to do some tying.

What should I do?

It will have to be all SB because my friends are going to be all away.

Here is what I have:
about 100 feet of rope
9 rolls of duct tape (different colors, 3 gray, yellow, blue, white, green, red, chrome)
electrical tape (great for wrap around tape gags, because it sticks to only itself)
chains
a padlock or 2
a couple of chairs
a pole
a bed with posts
seran or "cling" wrap
several belts
a bandana
some pairs of nylon stockings (my sister's, she lets me use them)
several long strips of cloth
black pillowcases

and that is all I can think of, I'll edit if I think of anything else

so, what should I do in this week I am looking forward to?

Meet some new friends? Not online though, of course. You should never trust online meetings no matter how good they say they are you cant' take the chance and anyone too much older than you would have legal troubles too. But TUGs with peer-age friends are always more interesting (and safer) than self TUGs any day.
Isn't there anyone in your school you can think whom you would like to meet or get to know better and try TUGs with? Do regular activities with first and try to put TUGs into it? Say , a race and the loser gets tied up (like in Barefoot ethan's fic story "I Didn't Expect to Lose"), and then make sure you lose - intros are probably easier if you go first. Or, if this is with a girl, tell her that girls can't tie knots and seee if she wants to prove you wrong. These are rather lame suggestions off the top[ of my head, but you get the idea and hopefully have time to think of better ones.
If friends are not available and self ties are your only option, you probably know better than I do what to do and what not; certainly it sounds like you're well equipped to trap yourself but good. Only thing I can suggest that I haven't seen mentioned before is keep a cell phone within reach so that you can dial 911 (or maybe your dad on speed dial) if you get into a jam with potentially worse consequences than some public embarassment.
Good luck with your self TUGs in any case.

If you are talking about the actual procedure, there are so many different ways that it really comes down to what you want to do to yourself and for how long.
I have always found that the easist and most secure form of SB is the spread eagle (or a cross, which is a spread eagle for the arms but mummification below the waist if you want to use all that material you listed - unsure if cross is the proper name but that's what I always called it). Just start with tying your feet and work your way up (except for easy stuff like gags, of course) in the usual manner. Save the arms for last and use handcuffs. Clicking a handcuff using your one free hand on that hand is so easy even I can do it. One time I couldn't get loose because the key fell out of reach and I had to demolish my headboard to get myself free (fortunately being big has its advantages), but that was my only mishap. Of course if you want inescapable bondage (which may be a bad idea for SB) and the increased risks of self harm or discovery by others that go with it, I never tried it and I don't recommend that you do either until you practuced less stringent but similar forms a LOT first. The fact that you even need to ask for suggestions tells me you aren't ready for that, but a spreadeagle or cross is secure without being inescapable if you do it right; it IS inescapable without that key after all. If you want to make it hard, try duct taping the handcuff key ahead of time close to where your fingers will be - forcing you to claw your way to freedom. Duct tape a spare by the other hand in case you screw up your first attempt (you may as well learn from MY mistakes).
Does this help any?

YOu must be very careful, SB is hard.
Well you might go with the padlocks, put the keys in a ice tray with water and freeze them, oh and also put a long string half submerged in the water in the ice tray. Then you use padlocks to get your self tied, so only if you have the keys you can release yourself, oh and before that, take the ice with the key inside and tie the string that is half frozen in the ice to something in the ceiling.

hope you get what im saying, its a usual method of SB.
it makes me GLaD, Im not you
And believe me Im still alive
Im doing TUGs and Im still alive.
I feel fantastic and Im stilll alive

You'd be EVIL if you're GLaD

Yes, - for ADULTS! I have done similar myself but I didn't mention this because a lot of things can go wrong if you do not know what you are doing. Also, if there is an emergency like a fire and no one is around (or at least within earshot) - well, THAT's why I mentioned cell phones and 911. Taking steps like Ducttapeboy's should be tried only after you have had LOTS of practice AND if you have reasonable privacy BUT can yell for help in an emergency and GET it! Such practices are NOT for when you are TOTALLY alone!!! Especially if you are somewhere where no one would know to look for you if they notice you are not hoime.
Ducttapebopy's ideas are good in themselves but build up to his ideas in gradual stages so that you can be confident in your ability in having a good time and stay reasonably safe. Otherwise IMO this is like driving a car without knowing how to use the brakes!

How in the world did you manage to get all that duct tape without your parents knowing?? As far as SB I'm not very creative I usually just tape my self to something and do my best to get my hands tied, so not sure.

I tell them that I make duct tape wallets with it. I do occasionally make one, but I use it all for TUGs instead

You're probably tired of hearing safety warnings, but I have one more to add.

Attempting to tie up the cat may be hazardous to your health.
