This is going to have a further fallout. If the shooters came with the refugee stream we can expect the debate surrounding that to be much grimmer and if they are from France its homegrown Muslim population...well its not looking good for that population then.

General Curtis LeMay, although long dead, has always been a pariah to liberals, but in this case, his words ring true: "When you kill enough of them, they'll quit." I am of the opinion that brutal violence is the only thing they will understand.

I can't imagine why running with an avowed segregationist and white supremacist for the highest office in the land would make you a pariah. Or was it the fact that he considered it a defeat when the Cuban Missile Crisis didn't end in all-out nuclear war? Regardless, what does it matter as long as he sounds super-badass and cool to Call of Duty addicted 13 year olds?
Anyway, how have decades of brutal violence been working out for us so far? We'll see how long your opinion holds up when you're ever actually in a position to be affected in any way, shape, or form by said "brutal violence", but since that will never happen you just hang onto your weird GI Joe vs Cobra fantasy. It's a brave man indeed who can beat his chest until he's blue in the face while never standing a chance of facing the consequences of choosing to do violence.
Matter of fact, since you're constantly on here rambling on about how killing those filthy mooslims is the highest priority in the world; either join up and do it yourself or shut the fuck up already, chickenhawk.drawscore wrote:The Russian intelligence service knew who the terrorists were, and where they lived, so they returned the favor by kidnapping the terrorist leader's adult son, and sent him to the terrorists stone cold dead, with his genitals removed, and stuffed in his mouth. When the strongest argument for your position is a 40-year-old apocryphal story with no supporting evidence, that should tell you something.

They're violating human rights, they kill innnocent people and do a lot of other bad things. Brutal violence is the last option you should use, but we don't have a choice in this situation...

Of course, we could take the high ground, and sit by, while others do our dirty work - like the Russians. Several years back, some Russians were kidnapped in the Middle East, and a ransom demand was sent to the Russian embassy. The Russian intelligence service knew who the terrorists were, and where they lived, so they returned the favor by kidnapping the terrorist leader's adult son, and sent him to the terrorists stone cold dead, with his genitals removed, and stuffed in his mouth. The Russian hostages were released forthwith.
Probably the biggest damn fool mistake ISIS made, was to take credit for downing a Russian plane with 224 people aboard. I'm sure Russian retaliation will be swift and brutal, but also very covert. The Russians won't say anything, and the terrorists won't want to admit anything is wrong.
