Hard for communism and noncommunism to agree at all lately. Look at China and Japan. They may be trade partners but still they distrust each other very well considering that Japan invaded China in WW 2 and China under the Khans more then once tried to take over Japan, succeeding at least once.

Doesn't it have more to do with the islands China is trying to claim despite clearly being Japanese teritory?
