Sleeping Bags and TUGs (photos)

Postby bondagefreak » Wed May 07, 2014 11:55 pm

Those of you who share a love for sleeping bag bondage and down gear, should particularly enjoy this post.

I'm gonna keep this brief for now, but I need to share this with you guys.
As some of you know, I have a thing for sleeping bag bondage and am always looking for an excuse to add to my collection. I've been working a lot lately and earned some extra cash...which brings me to the subject of this post.
A while ago, I started speaking to our two resident down experts "Dexter32" and "puffalover" and told them I was looking for a very puffy, high-end mummy sleeping bag...mostly for kinky fun, bondage play and winter camping.

I had my eye on some really expensive bags...such as the Western Mountaineering PUMA MF that runs for no less than 800$. Fortunately, "puffalover" saved me from spending all that money and shared a hidden gem with me.

Now, I'm gonna do the same for you.

For those of you who aren't familiar with winter sleeping bags, 1500g of medium/high quality duck or goose down fill makes for a very warm, VERY puffy bag rated for the -20s in Celsius degrees. Down bags of this weight are made for harsh winter expeditions and camping on the world's higher summits.

Instead of spending nearly a thousand bucks to get my hands on one of these bags, I got a bag stuffed with 3500g of duck down for under 300$ with express shipping. That's 3500g! :mouthopen: :mouthopen: :mouthopen:

Not only that, but the bag is really soft and shiny! It's huge and fat and when your zipped up and sealed inside, it feels like your being swallowed by a huge worm. With the amount of loft packed inside this beast, the down hugs you tightly on all sides...especially mine, since I ordered a size Small :quirk:

Here is the link to order these bags:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ultra-li ... 99411.html
If you scroll down the page, you'll see that these bags are custom-filled and come in different weights, sizes and colours. The more fill, the higher the price...but even the 3500g bags are a steal.

Puffalover also owns one of these bags...hopefully he'll share some of his photos with us.
These bags are practically made for bondage. They'd make for some great TUGs...especially during sleepovers.

I could only imagine the look on one of my friend's face if he came for a sleepover and I come out with this "beast" for him to sleep in... :quirk:

Here are a few photos of my new bag only a few hours after being taken out of it's stuff sack (hasn't fully lofted up yet.)

Anyone wanna come sleep over at my place? :quirk:

I don't think talking about my experience is appropriate in this thread...since it includes a bit more than only the sleeping bag. But here's the link to a full account: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=22463

I wanna keep this thread focused on the sleeping bag/sleeping bag bondage aspect only, but just a little side comment.

You've seriously NO idea how strong those bad boys smell.

Hello everyone,

I'd like to start by thanking Bondagefreak for mentioning me and for the really hot photos of his mammoth sleeping bag.

As he mentioned earlier I do own a few of these sleeping bags and I thought I'd be nice enough to share some photos of my bag with you guys. One of the bags I bought has the same amount of downfill as BF's bag but its slightly longer. I'm a huge fan of the shiny black color but since I've already bought one in black I decided to get one in red.

I totally agree with BF that these bags were practically made for bondage. I probably wouldn't recommend the 3500g filled bag for practical use, but It's the perfect bag (that's very cheap for the quality you're getting) for a fun day or night of TUGs cause once you're inside...it's so thick and puffy you can't even sit up straight inside the bag. Tied up Inside this bag...you will keep your struggles to a minimum cause of how hot and tired you'll get!

Anyways, I'm not sure I'll be able to top Bondagefreak's sexy photos but I'll do my best. Here they are:

As you can see...it's a great bag for TUGs

I hope the quality is ok. Like BF I took these photos with my phone. Just thought I'd share them with you guys.

BTW Bondagefreak, I would LOVE to be your next victim!
Once I have you tied up in both my overfilled blue and red sleeping bags, You're not going anywhere! Hope you enjoy feeling the soft nylon tightly hugging your skin as the heat will soon become unbearable!

I think I'd actually like it if it came in green.
Unfortunately I don't think these colours are available.
According to the source, they have: red, blue, black, yellow and purple.

I like the red one, but the struggle for me was choosing between blue and black.
I think they both look really awesome. Having chosen black, I must say, I don't regret my choice.

Hey Karl,

The red color looks to have a lighter shade in the photos cause of the light reflecting off the shiny bag, but if you see the bag in person the shade is a little darker than in the photo. Either way I totally agree with Bondagefreak that you can't go wrong with black. I only wish they made the bag in a darker blue color-like a navy or night blue. that would be awesome!

I don't know if you guys have ever seen the 50's movie "The Blob" or not. It was a classic at it's time and still holds that honor. In those days we usually wound up with ex GI bags as we had just finished 2 wars and there were a lot on the market. Then came RCI in Seattle for top quality stuff,, few of us could afford. Even so, none of our stuff looked as great as these. These new ones of yours look like some poor dude from the "Blob" is getting digested alive... Great show!

Postby bondagefreak » Sun Jun 01, 2014 4:09 pm

I really hope some of you guys are gonna get this bag!
It would be a crime NOT to order one at the price it's selling!
Sleeping bag + shipping = approx. 280$ US

That's a steal!

This is an absolute bondage bag. Don't bother getting this if you're looking for a practical use winter sleeping bag.
It's WAY too big and WAY to heavy for backpacking...and unless you're planning on sleeping outside in the south pole, this is WAY too warm!
This sleeping bag is just perfect for kinky fun and self-bondage!

Normally, it's always recommended to get a size that fits you (size charts and measurements are posted on the website), but if you're thinking of getting this bag, I'd strongly recommend getting it in size SMALL (unless you're tall and built).

I took some new photos of the bag.
It's such a huge piece of gear! So thick and puffy it's amazing.
Look how big and puffy it is just by itself (no one inside it/coca cola can for comparison)

Image

Image

I also took a photo of the inside, just to show you what it looks like.
The baffles are absolutely crammed with down and the nylon inside the bag is the same as the nylon on the exterior...really soft and shiny. It feels amazing when your lying in it with just a t-shirt and some shorts on.

Image

Something else I should point out is that the nylon doesn't breathe.
It's waterproof and airproof. Which basically means that if you close the hood completely over your face, you'll have trouble breathing since the puffy nylon inside the hood is gonna smother you from all sides.
This is a bonus for those of you who like breathplay.

Additionally, the bag is equipped with a down filled neck collar.
For those of you who aren't familiar with expedition-grade sleeping bags...it's basically a collar that you can tighten around your neck when the bag is zipped up. The collar stops any air from escaping through the hood.
It seals all air inside the bag, from your neck to your feet.

If you have a friend to tie you up, keep in mind that if he/she tightens the neck collar and knots it off, you'll be stuck in the bag until he/she undoes the knots. I'm serious...if the collar is tightened around your neck and knotted off, you won't have access to the hood or the zipper. Instant bondage!

Another thing puffalover and I neglected to mention is that the bag really stinks.
The bag really smells of duck down, which smells great, but strong nontheless.
The strong scent is a huge bonus when the hood is tightened over your face.

If you guys have questions or if you want more photos, please say so.
The pricing makes this bag accessible to pretty much everyone.

I really hope you guys get to experience this!

I was expecting it to arrive in a box.
I can't speak for puffalover, but mine arrived in it's compression sack.
The bag was rolled up in it's compression sack, slid inside another waterproof bag and covered with wrapping tape.

Total dimensions of the "package"/compressed sleeping bag approx.: 60x40x40 cm.
Weight of down filling: 3500g
Approx. total weight of bag: 4 kg (9 lbs)

Checked it out and naturally it is light years ahead of what I had. Question though: After you manage to melt a few guys in there, how do you clean it out ? Or do just let it ferment in the corner for its next victim?

Could you tell it was a sleeping bag from the outside when it arrived. I don't know how confident I am ordering a package for what's basically a fetish product with my room mate around :P

Karl - Kerry in the winter or the Aran Islands would merit this kind of gear as I remember it. In any case tell him it is a present for someone else --- then hide it. (grin)

Just one question for you BF...Were you ever able to sleep fully inside this bag for an entire night? I'll be honest, I couldn't do it. It gets way too hot! :D

Hey Karl, I can tell you that my bag arrived the same way BF's bag did. Sense it's covered up by the compression sack and waterproof bag you won't be able to tell whether it's a sleeping bag, tent, or just a large down comforter.

In fact, one of the LMR bags I bought arrived when I wasn't home and my roommate ended up signing for it. Later he asked me what it was and I told him It was a new down comforter. He had no clue what it really was.

If you or anyone else for the matter have any questions about these awesome sleeping bags or the site from which we got them from, Feel free to PM me. I'm sure bondagefreak will also be happy to answer your questions as well.

Hello my friend! I was just about to answer Oddfox's question, but you beat me to it. Ha! :quirk:

Anyways, to add to what puffalover says, yeah...the package has the shape of the compressed sleeping bag...but the bag isn't really a fetish item. It's just an expedition grade sleeping bag (that we use as a fetish item, lol).
Puffalover is completely right though. This could easily pass as something else, like a duvet comforter.
You'd just need to ask the buyer to label this item as "bedding" or "duvet" or something.
Either that...or you could just come up with the excuse that you might go camping with a friend in late autumn and found a good priced brand name sleeping bag

tony2 wrote:Checked it out and naturally it is light years ahead of what I had. Question though: After you manage to melt a few guys in there, how do you clean it out ? Or do just let it ferment in the corner for its next victim?

That's kinda gross Tony
No, you can't really wash down...at least not a bag this size.
I mean, you could hand wash it in the tub, but forget about drying it afterwards.

First of all, I always wear shorts and a t-shirt while I'm inside it. The same goes for my friends.
If my buddy plans to strap me down in it, I wear a pair of track pants. I take good care of my gear and don't want no sweat in it. Worst case scenario, if me or my buddy wanna use it without a shirt, we fit another mummy sleeping bag inside it to keep the sweat away from my bag.

puffalover wrote:Just one question for you BF...Were you ever able to sleep fully inside this bag for an entire night? I'll be honest, I couldn't do it. It gets way too hot! :D

I actually feel embarrased answering this question

No. I've failed every time so far...

Maybe in winter, with the heating off and my window open during -30C weather...but even then, I don't know if I could do it a whole night. After all...the bag IS rated down to -65C.

The bag get's WAY too hot!
But it's so big and comfy...I wish I could stay zipped up for longer!

So far, I've been able to spend three hours inside it. And mind you, that was when my friend kept me strapped down inside it  If you remember, I even pmed you on that night to tell you that I'd had enough of that sleeping bag for one day and that I wasn't gonna sleep in it for a few days...
Three hours was too much for me.

Anyways, if I decide to spend a few hours inside the bag. I take a cold shower, eat a lot of ice cream and take a cold drink beforehand...just to lower my body temperature a bit.

The hood can be cinched up and shut completely.
When you're inside the bag, your head is completely engulfed in the loft of the hood.
Look at the loft contained inside the hood. You can see how the baffles are really loaded with insulating loft.

Image

The bag is really narrow and stuffed with down.
It's just crazy how jammed packed it is.

Image

Before I got the bag, I inspected the measurements and size chart.
I thought it was gonna be pretty roomy. Of course, that was before receiving the bag. Then I realised not taking the amount of loft in consideration was a miscalculation. To my great joy and surprise, the insulating loft makes for a rather restrictive cocoon.
It's like your being squished/pressed/touched by all sides.
The bag looks big and roomy on the outside, but as soon as you zip it open, you realise that it's really quite snug on the inside.

Image

Image

I had to struggle to get the phone in the bag and had to push the upper part of the bag off me, just to take a photo.

On another note, I'd never use this bag for a cold winter camping trip.
I live in one of the colder places of the globe, yet even the harsh winter conditions here wouldn't warrant the use of this proposterous bag.

If you brought this camping, even in the winter, you'd certainly become the instant center of attention and jokes.
Just by zipping yourself up in this thing, you're basically ASKING for trouble!

If I'd have brough this camping a few years ago, my cousins or even my uncle would have cinched up the hood and tied me up while I was sleeping...I just know it.

When you're zipped up inside, you just look like a huge shiny worm.

I'm thinking back to my pre-teen years...
I use to go camping with two of my cousins and my uncle (who at the time was in his early 30s).
We'd usually go camping late in the fall, and although we didn't have big down bags like this...we'd usually use two or three sleeping bags each.
Understably my uncle didn't want us to fall sick...especially not me and the younger cousin of the two (who was about my age).

My uncle had a strict rule of "lights out = sleeping bags zipped closed."
I used to find it unfair that my older cousin was allowed to stay up while me and the younger cousin HAD to be fully zipped up in our sleeping bags by 8 pm sharp

Some of the years we went camping, it was pretty cold.
I often ended up sleeping in three sleeping bags; one was mine, the other my older cousin's (who always brought a spare) and the third, my uncle's (who always brought some for me and the younger cousin).

I wasn't allowed to unzip until morning...never! I still remember some of those nights were I couldn't sleep 'cause the sleeping bags were too thick and heavy. I use to wait until I thought my uncle was asleep and try to unzip my sleeping bags without making too much noise. Once my younger cousin figured out what I was doing, he'd tell on me 'cause he said it wasn't fair. I hated him!

Suffice it to say...I never caught a cold on those camping trips.

Too bad my uncle didn't have bags like my big black mummy for my younger cousin and I :)

Seal the ankles and wrist cuffs with duct tape also the neck. A wetsuit is designed to let in a small amount of water so there are passways at these locations. A drysuit seals out everything. with the head in a diving or sensory dep hood, the heat should build up about as fast as with your bags. One advantage, if he has to take a leak, you don't have to let him up :big:

Have fun --- keep me posted on your experiments. cheers

This is the type of sleeping system my uncle would fix up for me and my younger counsin on the colder nights.
Three thick rectangular bags (4-5 lbs each).
