you know you are from your country when...

you know you are from Norway when:

- you can wear shorts and t-shirts outdoor when it's 0 Celsius degrees (32 Fahrenheit).
- the skiing sports on TV is responsible for the most emotional moments of your life.
- when you are a world champion in everything after drinking 2 beers.
- when you are guarding a chocolate with your life.
- are more scared of the custom controls than terrorists.
- when you buy an extra can of beer (just so you can brag that you smuggled)
- throws a barbecue party on a rainy day.
- takes a bath in the ocean when it's only 5 Celsius degrees and call it refreshing.
- wears socks in your sandals.
- enjoy the taste of fried cod tongues.
- you can prepare fish in 5 different ways without cooking it.
- you think theres no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes.
- It feels natural to wear sport clothes and a backpack everywhere, including the cinema, bowling alley, and to church.
- you don't fall when walking on ice.
- You fall 3 meters, and don't get hurt. If you do, you're not worried at all.

what defines the people of your country?

You know you’re English when you:
• wear socks with sandals
• wonder why foreigners don’t understand you even though you’re waving your arms and talking slowly
• still go out in the rain, hoping it will clear up soon.
• you never wash the inside of a teapot.
• you trim the edges of a lawn regularly.
• you believe that do-it-yourself is ultimately cheaper than getting in someone who knows what they’re doing.
• often say things like, “Mild from the time of year.”
• stand in queues.
• eat McDonald’s ironically.
• wonder why the young can no longer speak the language.
• fail to understand that showering is more hygienic that bathing.
• drink warm beer without complaining.
• don’t see why you should tip when you’re already paying for a service.
• believe that the only person to enter Parliament with good intentions was Oliver Cromwell.
• believe that the pregnancy of someone who has married into royalty is newsworthy.
• listen to “The Archers” and find the characters believable.
• object to calling the vicar Alison.
• intentionally patronise a tea-shop where they can’t actually make tea without using tea-bags.
• still believe that pants are underwear.
• Still giggle when Americans refer to a bum-bag as a fanny-pack.

Oh, nearly forgot:
You know you're Englishe when you read a recipe with the instruction, "Cook till buggered, then serve", and do it!
Boxer shorts are cool,

  • you live within a short distance of 4 different interstates
