Guess I am feeling the blues nowadays, cause the tying is not as common anymore... to say the least. I am trying to understand or come to grips of what started this for me... why tie up games has been such a huge part of my life, but I can´t find any answers, no particular time or event that opened my eyes for this. In some ways it feels like it has always been there. I know I liked theese games as young as 6 anyways, and before that other strange games that involved some kind of submission. How about you all - do you remember how it all started?

It started for me I think with cops and robbers games, spy games and other TUG related games. My other interests in gloves, kidnap and chloroform all spin off from that. As I got older it got easier opening up to partners but I still don't tell friends because I do not think they will understand. I had a bit of handgagging and glove play with an early girlfriend when I was about 19 or 20 but I did not have a proper TUG with a g/f until I was 23.
She was 37 and I remember feeling extremely nervous letting her tie me for the first time, especially when she seemed to be a little too expert for someone who had never done it before. I was even more nervous when she let me kidnap her for the first time and the thing I love about the net (and sites like this) is that it provides a reassurance that you're not alone which is how I felt growing up. You go to school, clubs and to the shops or meet friends and occasionally you see a nice pair of gloves being worn or chat about a tie-up scene you have seen on TV and all you want to do is say "Hey I love those gloves!" or "I'd love to be tied up like that!"
Of course, you don't or you didn't back then; nowadays it's great to have a community to share experiences and stories so it should be a lot easier for TUGgers of the future!!!
