Re: Attorney:Returned Russian boy back in orphanage

I for one would not have sent this boy back to Russia alone with a note saying I din't want him anymore... there is an 80% chance that if he does have isues... This would be the largest cause of it...
Not being wanted... instead of sending him back I would get him the help needed... How bout you??

Except for the international aspect, it would be a sadly not uncommon situation, I imagine.
As much as I feel sympathy for everyone involved, I think the Russian authorities are probably right:
“But Russian officials refuse to let the boy return to the U.S. until his adoptive mother is criminally charged for sending him back.”
However, it would be a tragedy as well as a travesty if the boy became a political football. Both sides should realize that his welfare is paramount; but unfortunately that’s too often overlooked in these sorts of squabbles.

To me this Situation resembles mine a bit... This boy must feel the way I have felt all my life almost.... My mom sent me to live with my aunt & uncle... in my mind it was not she could not take care of me... It was that she did not want me... then my aunt made it clear after my Uncle passed away she really din't want me either...

I did Break the cycle when it came to my own children... They know I want them that I love them... in return they show me the same..... But I will say this: I'm a lucky one... Some people who are shown not shown love and Ping Ponged around like this boy here about 80% of em will not see there 13 or 14th Birthday... They will take there own life... This is infact a sad Fact of neglect and Abandonement without the Proper help....

Your situation is so heartbreaking and so heartwarming.
It would be wonderful if there were some panacea that society could apply to fix these disrupted lives and broken down relationships. But I fear there never will be. It’s the human condition, apparently, that lives will always be screwed up by some people’s failure to cope and refusal to seek timely help.

Too many people are disrispectful to others and thats what causes the most of these issues...
Take my boys for example there 14,14,8... You show em respect they will give you respect in return but in there classes there are boys who are not shown that love and respect they get depressed.... My boys just tell people where to go if there being disrespected...

....".that lives will always be screwed up by some people's failure to cope and refusal to seek timely help" I'm one of those ;and I don't seek help because I can't cope with all the paperwork expected in order to get that help. I'm told if I don't submit then they can't help me. I'm adult I live alone I could keel over and not be missed for a week. My state separated me from my parents and gave me a state mental hospital for six years and an orphanage for six other years. Now of age, I'm alone no family to call my own, never married. When paperwork is the only excuse for me not getting the help I need or I can't fill prescriptions because I don't have 3.00 and I'm left without, then I must not need the medicine, or the help because paperwork and their getting paid is more important. AND YES...THE WOMAN SHOULD HAVE TO PAY SUPPORT ON THAT CHILD. Plus face child abuse charges. She seemed to put her anger at the adoptive service before the welfare of the child SORRY Didn't mean to get emotional.
Those who walk forward always looking back, don't see that which makes them stumble

I was watching the News this boy I posted about is still in the care of Russian Social Service Authorities because of what this American nurse did to him. They still post pictures of her house telling people where she lives. I know she did something that is bordering on child abuse but why don't american Authorities step in before something worst happends. from what I hear she has alot of hate mail every day. Because of the way she treated the boy, and the situation (the same way you would return a pair of shoes, and not look back on the decision). Like I've said before Children are not objects, and should not be treated as such. The nurse since had to change jobs because people see her as a threat to children now. I do not blame them either.

BTW I have some friends in Russia who have seen this boy without Camera's around he seems well ajusted, and has asked not to be returned to the US.
