The Situation with France

Postby Appleguy224 » Fri Jan 21, 2011 9:44 am

A day ago, Osama bin Laden released an audio tape, telling about the 2 french reporter hostages they had in Al Queda, and how they would kill the hostages unless President Sarkozi of france withdrew his forces from Afghanistan.

Here is the question, should Sarkozi stay in Afghanistan and keep fighting until Osama's eventual capture or death and have the hostages killed by the hands of a monster, or should he have his troops pull out and have the hostages live to see another day?

by the way, this is an article explaining the situation

Its a hard decision. You should be doing everything you can for the hostages but a nation can't withdraw from a war for just two people.

I'm not sure if there's a situation? No country is going to let Osama get his way. I.E "We don't negotiate with terrorists." Those tapes are months old when the press gets a hold of them anyway.

There is no evidence to suggest that he is dead beyond wild speculation and too much hope in United States missile attacks

He's dead since 9 years.
But the normal mainstream news won't tell it you.

I believe that your brain is hooked up to believe conspiracy theories, there have been videos of him holding up current newspapers since when you supposedly believe he had died, but that is besides the point, what do you think about this, they will kill the journalists even with him dead or alive

You must really be into these theory's :worried:

There really isn't a reason to keep silent in fact anouncing his death would be good for America because it creates the illusion that they are winning and are doing a good job which would give a morale boost to all the countries who hessitate about new missions.

but then there wouldn't be a reason for the war.

yes, there would be, these are bad people, even IF he is dead, that doesn't matter, any other member of his organization would kill every one of us if they could, and that is reason enough

and also

you must really be into these theories

what do you mean?

Would you withdraw troops for the sake of the safety of two of their number?
No?
Then why withdraw for the sake of two journalists, who knew they faced such risks when they entered the country in the first place?
We lose hundreds or thousands of soldiers, but no one remembers them. But some let fool journalist who had no real business being there get captured and everyone worries for him. We should be concerned foir the sake of our troops and not let *their* sacrifice be in vain.

I vaguely remember- from ages ago- that bin Laden was suffering from kidney failure, and that he was on dialysis. It must be hard to tote a dialysis machine around the northwest frontier of Pakistan.... either that, or the rumor was all a big ruse.

If he is indeed still alive- and I believe that he is- there must be a female muslim out there somewhere trying to learn or vote that he's got to deal with! France should't worry...
