The Democrats and liberals who rail against voter ID, cast paper ballots for the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee. In order to get a ballot, voting members had to present a photo ID. Go figure.

Sounds like it to me.
Hey Drawscore, why don't you bring up a really interesting subject, such as why Trump is being so silent against attacks not only against Muslims but also against Jews?
How about Trump wanting to increase US military by record levels while cutting funds to important social services?
How about trump rapidly mocking a mockery of his office and of our nation's standing in the rest of the world?
How about trump supporting the idea of civil forfeiture, wherein cops can take all your money and stuff without a warrant just because they 'suspect' you committed a crime, and never getting that seized property back even if you are never actually charged (let alone convicted) of any crime?
How about Trump making it more obvious by the day that he is the most incompetent person to be POTUS, ever? Hell he makes even George Bush Junior look like George Washington!
Why don't you ever bring up these sort of interesting subjects?
Oh, that's right; you don't want the GOP to look bad!

I've never been a fan of civil forfeiture. It's basically a license for the authorities to steal. I do know that some time ago, the feds busted up a racket in some obscure speed trap. The cops would seize the vehicle, then tell the victim that if he wanted it back, he'd have to file suit, and give him the card of a local lawyer. The lawyer would win the case, based on a constitutional clause that says no one shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law. The lawyer would collect a fee of one third of the value of the vehicle seized, which he would then split with the cops and the judge. When the feds got done with them, they found out what civil forfeiture was all about. To pay off the people they shafted, their homes, cars, and other property, were all taken and sold at auction, and they wound up serving (I think) ten years under the RICO statute.

How about Trump making it more obvious by the day that he is the most incompetent person to be POTUS, ever? Hell he makes even George Bush Junior look like George Washington!

Facts, not opinion, please. Obviously, you did not watch his State of the Union address. Even Democrats were saying that, for the first time, he looked "presidential." (In sharp contrast to the photo/screen shot of Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Keith Ellison, parked in their seats, while everyone around them on the Democrat side of the aisle, was standing and applauding. They looked petty and petulant.)

he didn't ask about Israel (though your reply is still asinine even if he was), he asked about Jews. strange that someone buoyed by actual neo-Nazis who hired a well-known anti-semite as his "chief strategist" would be silent on the matter, eh? how exactly was the military "gutted" when military spending has been largely unchanged since 2008? also a friendly reminder that someone on "your side" (and no matter how much you try and have it both ways, it *is* your side) stood up screaming during an Obama state of the union, if you want to discuss "petty and petulant". but you won't. you don't discuss. you come in, repeat something you saw on facebook or elsewhere, then fade away quietly when asked to account for yourself.

In case you hadn't noticed, Israel has a much better friend in Trump, than it did in Obama. And if you think my post was so uninteresting, why did you even bother reading it, much less reply to it.?
As Rachel M pointed out so accurately, I'm not talking about Israel. I'm talking about Jews here in the states whose cemetaries and synagogues are being vandalized. For example:
https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=j ... mp=yhs-001
or
https://www.yahoo.com/news/anti-semitic ... 48955.html

How about Trump wanting to increase US military by record levels while cutting funds to important social services?
After Obama gutted the military, getting it back to strength is a necessity. And what social services do you consider important? Again, as Rachel M pointed out, military spending was never gutted; it merely grew less rapidly than it had under Bush.
Also, I'm not talking about aid for immigrants either. I'm talking about people who get sick or injured or disabled and can't work and can't afford luxuries like a CPAP machine so one can get some sleep and be able to work again. Why'd I pick that particular example? You get three guesses!!!

How about trump rapidly mocking a mockery of his office and of our nation's standing in the rest of the world?

If you can seriously ask that question when there are so many obvious answers, then nothing anyone can say would convince you anyway. But a few quick examples: Bowling Green Massacre (that never happened); Swedish terror incident (that never happened), insulting everyone left, right, and center, placing people into his cabinet who have always opposed the particular office they are now heading (EPA for example), turning science into a political football, and what seems to be a record number of self-contradictions. For example:

How about trump supporting the idea of civil forfeiture, wherein cops can take all your money and stuff without a warrant just because they 'suspect' you committed a crime, and never getting that seized property back even if you are never actually charged (let alone convicted) of any crime?

Um...acting presidential only one month INTO the presidency is far, far to late. Trump should have been acting presidential month's ago, a year ago even. And on that note I find it a little funny when populists like Trump preach about unity only after fracturing the country with lies and slander has already gotten them the leadership they so wanted. Only when its convenient to the populists is unity suddenly important. But its Trumps job to reach out to his opponent, not the other way around.

Really? Oh dear. Can't we just say everything Trump says and does and call it a day?

Slandering his allies.

Slandering the press and have an hour long press conference just to vent about how much he hates them.

Have literary be one of his first acts in office be having someone on stage and order them to lie on national tv about how many people attended his inauguration.

Make up or have his people make up fake terrorists attacks.

Get into petty arguments with judges who strike down poorly implemented laws.

Blame the military when an attack he orders fails.

Have one of his cabinet members be chased out of office just mere weeks into his rule.

Have the same problem with his justice minister.

Being unable to stop leaks in his white house.

Hell, Trump ain't perfect, but he IS the president, and will be for the next four (and maybe eight) years. Get used to it.

Nothing he has done, rises to the level of "high crimes and misdemeanors" necessary for impeachment, no matter how much Keith "Jihadi" Ellison, Nazi Pelousy, and the rest of that bunch of far left Loony Tunes wants it. (The moderate left I can take. The screwballs ought to be in strait jackets,)

Certainly, he could be impeached, but does anyone honestly think 67 senators will vote to convict him? C'mon, people. Get real!

I'd need specific examples of your first two contentions before I can formulate any kind of intelligent response to them. As for the last one, you must be either joking or have a really selective memory. You don't think all those times the GOP obstructed anything Obama wanted to do or all the things they are now doing to repeal everything he has manged to do, counts as undermining the Obama presidency? Trump and his pals are just being paid back in kind for how they tried to have everything their own way, because they're concerned more about having it all than what is actually best for the greater interests of the general public. Not that the Dems lately have been much better;they're mostly centrist corporatists these days. That's why the Democrat party is fracturing and the Progressive Movement is starting; much as the GOP did previously and formed the Tea Party before.

Yes, but I'm not the one paying the webhost. Zanev is. I'm just an admin, trying to enforce the rules Zanev sets. So if you want DS banned, you can suggest it to Zanev yourself - at your own risk. Personally, I'd advise against it unless you can prove something actionable such as harassment; which in DS's case is imo unlikely (whatever else his faults, that's not one of them afaik). Zanev tends to strongly disapprove of complaints without really good reasons.
