Hockey World cup boredom

It was during the Hockey World cup. I went into the living-room, where my brother sat watching a hockey-game on TV. I didn’t know which teams were playing, and frankly, I didn’t care. I sat down in the easy-chair next to him, and started sighing and kicking my heels. I could see he was getting annoyed with me and was delighted. I just couldn’t understand the thrill of watching grown men run around the ice on skates, chasing a flat, black piece of rubber! It was so boring, I almost burst into tears. To me, it was just a tiny bit more interesting, than watching soccer or football.

During a break in the game, he angrily told me to go in to my room, and wait for him there. I did and closed the door, maybe a bit harder than necessary. Then I threw myself on the bed.
Suddenly, the door opened and he came in, holding several long lengths of rope in his hands. Without saying a word, he turned me over on my stomach, and began tying my hands behind my back. When he had finished doing that, he turned his attention to my knees and wildly kicking feet, tying them together as well. He even managed to tie a rope around my waist, that way pinning my wrists to my body. Then he told me to start trying to get out of the ropes, when he had left.

Before I had a chance to tell him what I thought of him, he was gone. As he had tied me quite roughly, the ropes were beginning to dig in to my body. I realized the only way to get some sort of pain-relief, was to try to free myself. As I had been in this kind of situation before, it took me little more than 30 minutes to get free. Triumphantly, I went into the living-room again, and dumped the ropes in his lap. The game had ended, by that time, but another one was about to begin. He only looked at me, got up and got a chair from the kitchen, a hanky and a scarf, told me to sit in the chair and tied my hands together behind the back of the chair. Then he tied my legs separately to the legs of the chair and, using the hanky and scarf, gagged me. Now a team wearing yellow and blue were playing a team wearing predominantly red and blue. Against my will, I became so fascinated; I hadn’t even begun trying to get free by the time the first period had ended.

Without giving me so much as a glance, my brother went into the kitchen and got himself a drink and a ham-and-cheese sandwich which he started munching away at, clearly not thinking of me. That made me so angry; I was out of the ropes before the second period had even started, angrily stomping away into my room. I could hear him laughing at me, even through the closed door.
Whazzzz up!.
