Before you start asking me, I know it's a bit strange of me to come to a bondage forum for employment advice, but considering how helpful this community has been with other matters I thought I'd give it a go.
Now that I'm out of high school, I'm searching for an entry level job to occupy my free time and provide me with a little extra spending money. I realize it's a bit surprising that I never had a job during school (I've said this in another thread), but the important thing is that I'm searching now, and I've even landed a job interview that's scheduled for this upcoming Wednesday. With that in mind, I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me.
I've applied for the position of Sales Associate at my local GameStop. Given my taste in video games, it seems a fitting choice for me, and I very much enjoy the environment of the store. I've already gone in and spoken with the manager (once before to introduce myself and again a week later to follow up) and we seemed to really hit it off. This is probably what helped me score the interview appointment.
With this being an entry-level job, it is less corporate which is comforting, but there are certain things I would like to be prepared for. So, if anyone has any suggestions be it red flags to avoid, advice on how to answer common questions, common mistakes, or your own experiences that I could draw from I would greatly appreciate it.
(As a side note, I am not looking for advice on resume building. I have already submitted my application with my resume. I am asking about in regards to the interview process.)
