What should I do? Advice, please.

Postby italianarg » Thu Jan 03, 2013 6:00 pm

So I am taking a business trip next week to Chicago for work and I am going to try to find interested females/possibly bondage models out there to tie up in the hotel room I get. I want to bring my ropes and stuff on the trip, I am flying from NJ. How/would I be able to pack my ropes and stuff for the trip? I wont put it in my carry on, but if its in my luggage is that too suspicious?

Advice please!

what you could do is put it in your luggage and wrap several shirts and such around it, if the security doesnt pick up any suspicious elements such as explosive items they wnt search your bag
Always tied, but always free!!

Restraints are not illegal in checked baggage. (According to the TSA website, they are not on the list of items expressly prohibited even in carryon, but agents have wide discretion. If confiscated, you're unlikely to win an argument that they should be allowed on. So you're being smart in not trying to carry them on.)

Handcuffs will show up strongly on X-ray, but they shouldn't look like a bomb. Still, even if TSA opens your luggage, there's no problem unless you're packing something else that's illegal. (In other words, leave your marijuana at home.) If you get to your hotel room and open your bag to find a note that your luggage was searched - so what?

Well, not sure if he has any handcuffs, didn't last time we talked.

Well, you could always do as we talked about before and get rope when you arrive. if you don't want to take it back, then see if one of your models don't mind taking it of you for some fun of their own. If not and you still don't want to have the possibly of being caught with it in your bags then just throw it away as long as its fairly cheap rope.
Oh, a TUG! Do I have to play alone?

Hey I'm from Chicago! But just check the bags with your bondage stuff. I travel a lot and have never had trouble with anything I check. And depending what airline you fly on, it might be free to check your bags. Hope you get some models to tie up :)

Thanks for all the advice everyone! Doubt I will have luck but I figured it was better than NJ to try for models.

I don't fly period.

With TSA and their manhandling of searches it's scared me away from flying.

I'll drive thank you.

Dear Italianarg,
Do not carry your ropes neatly wound around some lovely damsel in your luggages and all should go smoothly...

If you're in NJ, you should be reasonably close to New York City, and buses and trains don't search your bags. Admittedly, you might have a hard time getting your employer to pay for your hotel room....

I used to travel all the time with ropes/bandannas in my checked-in bags (never handcuffs or other more serious restraints, though) all the time and never had any trouble.
Walk the mile first... then have the fun!
