I talked to a few people on this forum that have experienced similar issues (and a moderator on this board that agrees, because I brought this up in a private message).
When you role play or having a conversation with someone and randomly disappear and not reply, but you are writing to other people and role playing (visible to all of us), at least have the common decency to tell the person "No thanks" or "I'm no longer interested". It would be a lot better instead of leaving that person in the dark wondering what went wrong, or making them feel like crap later, or just pushing them off to the side because you found better conversation/story material.
You don't *have* to role play or talk to anyone, but how hard is it to just say "no thanks", or "I'm no longer interested"? It's just common sense, manners, and common decency. It's a whole lot better than just pushing someone to the side and shrugging them off.
I am just making this statement to make a point, because I am sure it's happened to at least a few people on this forum or elsewhere. Honestly, it can bring you down. Maybe some don't care, but at least you are being honest instead of totally ignoring someone and not saying anything and leaving them in he dust.
Moderators: I don't have a problem if you lock this thread. It's not really about a conversation, it's bringing up a valid point. I don't want it to become a heated debate. However, I am sure many will agree. Even if it's locked, people can still read it. I am just looking out for others.
