A Weekend At Home With My Cousin

Postby reddwarf123 » Fri Jan 14, 2011 4:01 pm

My mum and my auntie were going away for the weekend (friday morning till monday evening) on some "arts" course in London. Seeing as i live in Manchester it was the other side of the country so they booked a hotel for the weekend and made the trip into a short break.

My cousin (lets call him Jim) had done a home economics class so our parents decided to let us stay home alone to see if we were responsible enough to run the house for 4 days and if anything did happened my grandparents were 5 doors down just in case. They left a set of instructions and a load of food in he fridge just in case

Friday came and I came home from playing a football match at 6pm to see dinner nearly done which was a massive suprise, especially considering that my cousin was 15 and he had managed to work my stove and heat up some lasagne. After dinner Jim proposed that we watch TV untill the small hours of the morning.I really didn't want to do this especially considering that i was sore and completely wiped out after the match earlier on but i agreed anyway mainly hoping that he would volunteer to do the cooking for the weekend if i was nice to him.

It came up to 11pm (i know, so late :O) and we were watching a red dwarf marathon (we're both big fans) up in my room, he was sat on my bunk bed and i was sat on my chair with a thin blanket over me. The adverts came on and i thought i might be able to catch a quick snooze, big mistake! I was out like a light.

The next morning came and i woke up at 9. I realised i had fallen asleep on my chair and went to whip the blanket off to get a drink but i couldn't. I tried again but to no avail, it slowly dawned on me what my cousin had done! I gazed down and saw that he had rolled me up tightly into the blanket and used 4 of both mine and his belts to tied my arms to my body. He had then used duct tape to tie my legs together at the ankles and knees and also to secure me to the chair around my torso over the belts.

I struggled for about half an hour to no avail at all, i was going no where at all. i awoke Jim with my struggling who got up and laughed. He then went down stairs and brought up a drink and offered it to me. He tilted the glass and I drunk most of the water before he got over enthusiastic and tilted the glass so far that the water spilled down my face.
I asked him "Why have you tied me up?"
he replied "why not"
I then went into one of my rants and he just stood there for most of it and then put his hand over my mouth
"God, you talk a lot at times"
I still carried on ranting through his hand "MPPPHMPH AS WELL AS MMPPPPHHHP ASLEEP! MMPPPPHHH MHPPPH"
he grabbed the now somewhat depleted duct tape and tore a strip off and then placed it across my mouth.
MPPHHH MPHHH MPHHH!!!
"I'm gonna add an hour on for every sound! at the moment it stands at 10.30! I'm off to get some breakfast, see you at 10.30!"

I sat there for 15 minutes, i didn't mind being tied up it was just that i needed the toilet and i was starving. I struggled against the many bonds. Nothing. I wiggled my right arm and it moved, only a little but it moved. I struggled to get it above the blanket and the belts but they were very tight. Another 5 minutes passed and i was exhausted, i made managed to get my arm high but i couldn't get it any higher so i pushed it across my torso and pushed my hand above the blanket with the rest of my arm soon to follow. It was easy from then on, i pulled off the duct tape from my mouth (ow!) and with the extra room my other arm came out easily . I unwrapped the duct tape securing me to the chair, freed my legs and legged it the toilet.

That morning sparked off a little competition between me and my cousin and every time we were alone i often found one of us tied up in one way or another.

I did get revenge on him that night but that will be continued at a later date.

P.S If my english is really bad i can re-write it and be more concious over my grammer if you want :D

Your English looks fine to me. Good story too. I will enjoy readng further installments of it. :big:
Question: How old were you when this all happened? Your mentioned your cousin's age but not your own.

I echo Jason's remarks. Welcome, and just watch the capitalisations perhaps.

We'll agree to disagree ;)

Red Dwarf has its moments, don't get me wrong. I don't remember the characters so excuse me on that if you would, but the black (Jamaican?) guy is hard to understand, and the character that's evolved from his cat (granted that's clever, since in the jazz music scene usually black guys are called "cats") just isn't all that much. And as much as I loved Chris Barrie in Britta's Empire (now there's a show!), he just overplayed his role.

Although: I've only seen a few episodes from the first season. Maybe it gets better later on?

Hey now, everyone. Let's not diss the author of this thread's choice for a favorite show, okay? This is getting a bit off-topic now! We can always create a seperate thread for 'What's the Best TV show of All?' if people want to debate the issue. Meanwhile, let's just let Reddwarf continue his story in peace and without any further distractions or potential arguments... :worried:
Besides, the best TV show of all was definitely the original Star Trek! Live long and prosper!
