His troops captured 50 of them, and he lined up 49 of them in front of a large trench, and promptly had them shot. Then, he had pig carcasses thrown in to the trench with the bodies, and covered it over. The 50th man was released. He went back and told the other insurgents what had happened, and they decided it probably would not be a good idea to screw with MacArthur, or any of his troops or their families. They didn't have any more problems with insurgents after that.
Sometimes strong measures need to be taken. The only problem, is that our leaders in Washington suffer from a disease called "political correctness," which has caused them to lose their testicular fortitude.

If a Republican had done that, the media would have been all over him about it, and someone in the registrars' offices would have leaked the records. And you know it!

While all human life is important, I happen to think that the lives of those who put on the uniform to preserve, protect, and defend our country and our way of life, are more important than the lives of those trying to kill us, and take that away from us. If you have a problem with that, I'm sorry.
