....and your point is? I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but why bring it up here? This is a forum for heated topics, but I don't see what's controversial about having autism.

I see nothing controversial (or even at all hard to believe, frankly) about you having autism either, Jay; so that can't be it.

Well I been bullied either verbally or physically over my condition. One person told everyone in my 5th grade class to ignore me. I have been stuffed in a trash can. It's how people with autism should be treated.

We're all on the autistic spectrum somewhere. It's just more apparent in some of us than in others.
Sometimes it's easy to explain bullying in terms of "otherness" but we don't always identify that "otherness" accurately.

You don't have to be autistic to be the victim of a bully, though it certainly doesn't help. Bullies target anyone they believe they can get away with pushing around.
I was bullied myself, though usually by much older kids since I was too big and strong for most kids my own grade to push around. One specifically said it was because i was retarded - or so he figured anyway - as if that were justification for such a thing. Talk about being retarded! Once my older brother found out about it though, that bully learned I was not fair game... mainly though because the only person who was allowed to pick on me was my brother!
