No motivation :/

Postby putasockinit2 » Thu Sep 05, 2013 2:54 pm

Hi everyone,

Wasn't sure where to put this thread so it goes here haha :D

As some of you might be aware, I haven't updated any of my stories for a while. The reason being, bluntly, because I've lost my interest in TUG's. I didn't think it would ever be possible but I've changed so much in a few weeks. I guess the problem is that it just doesn't thrill me so much anymore. I don't nearly think as much about girls being tied as I used to.

Waffled on a bit so I will get to the point. Is this a phase or will I never get the motivation to add to some of my stories?

thanks :D

I know how you feel, my TUGs interest seems to come and go and although I am quite interested in TUG stories and always wanted to be tied up and gagged, it is not something I take seriously.

People's interests change.
People come and go on the site.
Good luck pursuing your latest interests.
You can always return if the site scratches your itch again.

We all get a bit weary of the site from time to time, but I find that there's nothing like it elsewhere on the internet.

I may not be getting tired of tugs but as far as I can tell my writing motivation seems at a pretty low place now :(

that was part of my problem in terms of it felt like so much effort to add to the same stories time after time. hope you get the mojo back soon though haha :D

I've never lost my interest in Tugs, even though I've none these last twelve years and darned few the twelve years before those. But what has been a problem for me has been a lack of interest (or at least the energy) to write about TUGs. Also a lack of time in some cases -where today for example i'm having to waste time and energy stamping out a flame war involving a member named Mirae (who wants me to delete all of her posts - all 200+ of them).
So I can definitely understand the problem of no motivation. In my case at least though, a lack of a love fo tugs isn't the problem. But also too, I also have many other interests that I also like to spend time on that have nothing to do with TUGs. Plus I work full time. That's a problem many of us have had to deal with, and sadly I'm not alone. Many of my favorite writers here (some of whom have posted here ahead of me) are having similar motivational problems. It happens. It even feels shameful to some of us personally (I for one) but it shouldn't. We're only human, and besides there's more to life than TUGs.
Writing can be draining. Hopefully though the problem is only temporary, as i'm sure it is in my case.
Just rest up and enjoy life, Putasockinit 2. That's all anyone can ask of anyone.
(I hope that ramble wasn't too incoherent.) :worried:

yeah that's exactly what I feel from time to time. tugs will always be there, but sometimes I just cant be bothered to post. But thankfully ive realised I can come and go on the site as I please and nothing will happen. It's not like all my posts will be deleted if I don't sign in x amount of times per week/month/year etc (which I thought when I first joined lol) :D
