Part 3 - Andy's POV
Oh God, Sarah looked gorgeous.
She was lying there, her feet resting on the beanbag. Her brown hair was spilling all over the seat.
When she saw me, she lowered her magazine and beamed at me. It was such a warm smile that I felt dizzy.
Her perfect lips, ruby red. Her beautiful eyes. Her perfume...oh the smell!
I had it bad.
Tom pushed Frances' feet off the beanbag and sat down. Sarah smiled at me and moved her feet slightly, inviting me to sit down.
I did so, and she crossed one leg over the other.
Wait what?
I paled slightly. I had seen up Sarah's skirt.
Her movement had been slow, intentional.
I looked at her smile. Yes, it was definately intentional. Was it possible she liked me back?
I dismissed the idea immediately. She may have been my friend, but Sarah would never go out with me. She was way out of my league.
"Right, bitches." Tom said.
Frances would usually argue with him when he said that, but this time, she just scowled. I flashed her an apologetic smile, and her face softened.
"We're going to see the game tonight," Tom said. "So you two better do some more work on the project."
Sarah smiled at me. "Do you want to go to the game, Andy?"
Her smile was dazzling.
"Umm, well.."
"Course he does!" Tom smiled.
Sarah smiled. "Ok, that's ok with us. We'll do the work, but at leats come back to mine after school for five minutes, just so we can plan?"
Even Tom couldn't resist a Sarah-smile, so he sighed.
"Fine, but we'll be straight off after."
We spent the rest of the free period lounging around.
Frances and Tom stuck their headphines in and didn't talk.
Sarah and me chatted loads. I was surprised how nervous I was before I saw her, compared to how I was when I talked to her. It was fine.
She kept poking me with her feet and I kinda liked it.
Eventually, the bell went.
Sarah smiled at me.
"Andy, be a darling and put my shoes on for me?"
"Sure, Sarah." I grabbed her sweet-smelling pumps and slid them onto her socked feet.
She offered her hand and pulled me up.
We then told the other the bell had gone.
We wlkaed to Sarah's house in partial silence.
Frances and Sarah chatted to me, while Tom hung back.
At one point, Sarah jumped on my back, yelling "piggy back!"
I have to say, I liked it.
