A good many things; obviously.

What's wrong? Many judges rule according to their political philosophies, instead of the law.

I cant say i blame people for thinking the way they do about the court systems and its true that many things are fucked up about it but thats the way the founding fathers wanted it so they wouldnt gain too much power (checks adn balances, seperate but equal branches of government, etc.) and it gets even more complicated as you add more and more factors (local governments, laws, regulations, types of trials, etc) also the early courts of america actually judged by a biblical verse that still holds some truth today: "Its better to let 10 villians go free than to imprison 1 good man"

The founding fathers gave federal judges lifetime appointments, because they expected them to rise above politics, and rule in accordance with the law as written, and not how they would like it to read. Unfortunately, it hasn't always worked out that way.

Some crime isn't as serious as other crimes as far as sentencing goes in specific cases and there should not be a statue of limitations

I trust you understand that historically this has been equally true whether the judge was a conservative or a liberal.

Sure it's true. It's not right, but it's true.

I agree that it's not right; that's one major reason our judicial system is so messed up. Not the only reason though; I'm sure.
