You got a taste of Shaun and Jake's introduction to their other identical siblings realizing they were actually identical quadruplets in the story below.

--------------------------------------------
1 year since the events of the prequel.
"Pass!" I shouted to my twin identical brother.
A picture perfect pass and I dropped a shot into the back of the net in overtime to win our soccer game. Yes life was good, we were both good friends after our ordeal last year. Now we had just begun our sophomore years at Cave City High School in Minnesota. After the game, Jake put on a red t-shirt and red bracelet, while I put on a red t-shirt and my trademark blue bracelet. We both put tennis shoes on, replaced our soccer socks with white ankle socks, and left our black athletic shorts on.
We both had gotten our licenses, it was my turn to drive today.
"Shaun," Jake said during the ride home, "Remember Josh... and Jason. We just left them in that forest. I know they were going to do the same to us, but don't you feel guilty?"
"No, I don't, what else were we supposed to do?"
"Oh," he replied... "Just wondering. I am sorry I got us into this mess."
"Just forget it," I said, "We're all good now. They won't come back."
"I have a confession to make," Jake said, "When Isaac (One of their friends) tried to tie me up, I was scared it reminded me of that time in the museum. The taping I endured. Could you tie me up and let me get out? Just in case it happens again? Help me get used to it? We could even have a competition who gets out of being tied up the fastest!"
After his actions last year, was I skeptical? Sure. But I agreed to it.
When we got home, we had a note on the counter, perfect time to practice with Jake.
So I got out some rope and two of my soccer socks. I had Jake sit in a chair facing the tv. I tied his hands crossed style behind his back, lashing them together knot by knot. Next I separated his feet, tying them to the legs of the chair at the ankles and knees. I then tied his shoulders to the chair with more rope.
"Open up." I said. Jake opened and I pulled my red Adidas sock and knotted it behind his head. I let him attempt to get out of my very simple tie. Meanwhile I turned on the tv, CNN was on Dad must've been watching it last. But the headline caught my attention and I watched with absolute horror.
CNN Anchor: "Two twin boys were found chained to eachother in Saskatchewan's Boreal Forest late yesterday evening. Incredibly the two boys have been tied up in the desolate area for over a year and now people are demanding answers, including federal authorities who believe former mass kidnapper John Fretham was behind it.
The boys now 16 claim they are parentless, found, beaten, and left for dead by a man similar to Fretham after realizing the boys were homeless, but many are suspicious as Fretham was killed in a plane crash last August. The boys were released without questioning into foster care. No doubt lucky to be alive."
I turned to Jake and realized the keys we threw them weren't the right keys. As Jake slipped out of his bonds and unwound the sock cleave gagged. We looked at eachother and gulped. Josh and Jason were out for revenge.
