I am trying my hand at something new today. I am going to attempt to write a fictional story for TiggeronRS from his request. All the characters and happenings from this story are purely fictional. None of this really happened, but I hope you all enjoy it as much as my normal stories. This story contains elements that I usually don't post about. The couple in it end up tied up by a robber. This was part of the request, but the situation brings them closer together.
Ashley was a cute girl for her age of 20. She had grown up in a quiet suburban life with her family and graduated towards the upper half of her class. Now, she was attending her sophomore year of college at a university half way across the state from her home town. Academically, she was well adapted to her studies, but with her family so far away there seemed to be a void in her life. For the first time in her life she felt very alone in a big and empty world. None of her friends had followed her out here from high school and other than an occasional talk with her mother on the phone she was by herself in the world. Still, fate has an interesting way of filling voids with an opportunity. Ashley never would have thought that a young man working at the college would be the one to fill the gap in her empty heart. Especially a stranger.
Paul was an aspiring young man of 22 just trying to find his way in the world. He had never done well in school growing up and lacked the funding for a formal college education. So, he began his adult life like everyone else, looking for a job. His search had come to an end last year when he found an add in a local paper. The university in his home town was looking for someone to run maintenance and grounds keeping on two of the dorms on their campus. Paul had always been good with his hands and a need for money motivated him to fill out an application. It turned out to be a good job for him. The pay was decent and the benefits were more than adequate, but that was not why he came to love his occupation. One of the students that lived in the dormitory he looked after had caught his eye not long after he began his work. She was a cute little thing, not the most popular girl around, but there was something about the shy way she carried herself that drew his attention to her. Finally, after a few weeks of watching her come and go he worked up the courage to go and introduce himself to her. Ashley was more than receptive and the two soon formed a growing casual friendship.
Though their worlds were different, Ashley and Paul soon learned to enjoy each other's company and became more than friends. They went together on a few dates and they were becoming more and more of an item. While Paul was by no means rich, he made a comfortable living and managed to afford a house for himself along with the other items that he needed to survive and have a little fun in life. Like most young men Paul had a hobby that he cared passionately about and it was his escape from the world around him. Paul was a skater, and not just a casual one either. He had grown up with the sport and trained himself to be quite good at it. He was stable on wheels much more than the ice and a real master of the trade of his craft. He could perform jumps and tricks on roller skates that many ice skaters never even hoped to reach. Paul loved to show off his skills at the local rink and park where he could amaze everyone from the younger children who watched with envy to the older crowd who just appreciated a good performance. Still, he had never worked up the courage to show that part of himself to Ashley. But after a couple of dates he decided to introduce that side of himself to his new girl friend.
Ashley had been a little nervous when he asked her to the local roller rink for a date. However, she liked his company and didn't refuse Paul his request. The following weekend the two of them met at the local rink. Paul had his own skates as well as an outfit that added some flair to his performance. Ashley on the other hand ended up renting a brown pair of well used rental skates. It was her first time. Normally, the two of them fit together like two peas in a pod, but here they were night and day by the differences between their abilities. Paul showed off like he always did drew quite a bit of his new girl's friends attention. Ashley spent more time on her bottom from falling than she did on her feet. Yet, she was determined to impress Paul with at least a willingness to try and learn. It turned out to be an empty attempt as she ended on the floor again and again. Paul picked up on her frustration and attempted to help her learn the basics. He was a good teacher and by the end of the night Ashley could at least stay up for a lap of the rink with on hand being supported by her boy friend. She had a good time, despite the bumps and bruises from the numerous falls she had undertaken. Ashley told Paul she would be willing to go again if he wanted and maybe he could teach her more next time. Paul suggested that she meet him at his home the next afternoon and he would give her a less public lesson on a bike trail that ran not far behind his house. Ashley just smiled and accepted the offer. It would turn out to be an experience that neither of them soon forgot.
Ashley got up on Saturday and worked through the rest of her homework for the weekend to clear the afternoon for some personal time with her boyfriend. Her head bore a heating pad taking some of the soreness out her forehead from a fall the day before. She wondered if she would do any better today. This was a really big thing for Paul and she wanted desperately to be part of it. At 11:00 Ashley put her books away finished with the last of the assigned reading and homework, now she was free to see her boyfriend and attend the lesson she was looking forward too. Ashley looked out her dorm window and took a reading off the thermometer that handed just outside her window ledge. It was only 50's degrees outside, which was a little cool for October, but it just meant she would have to be prepared. Why did the lesson have to be outside she thought to herself. With that in mind, Ashley began digging through her closet and picked out an outfit suitable for both the weather and activity.
Ashley began her outfit with a pink long sleeve and a matched it with a pair of blue jeans to coordinate with it. She added a pink skirt around her waist that came down to just above her knees. Paul had told her to wear something cute that she could twirl in when she got good enough. Still, even this was not going to be nearly warm enough for the weather outside. Ashley added a set of pink leg warmers that came up just below her knees to under the bottom hem of the skirt. Next, she donned a white pullover hooded sweatshirt and drew the hood up around her bright auburn hair and knotted the string off in front. In addition to a white pair of tennis shoes and a socks, Ashley finished off the outfit with a warm pink scarf that wrapped around her neck twice to keep the cold air out. Her mother had given it to her for birthday and it was part of a set matched with a warm pair of pink wool mittens that she slid over her hands to keep her fingers warm against the cold.
With everything in place, she headed down the stairs to the lobby of the dorm and headed out the door. The breeze was soft and the weather was more than pleasant for the short walk to Paul’s house. He lived less than two blocks from the main campus and it was easier to hike there than to take her car. About 20 minutes later or so, she arrived and entered the garage door that Paul had left open for her. Surprisingly, his car was absent from it's normal space in the building. While Paul had a lovely split level house, his car was an old piece of junk. Ashley crossed the driveway and rang the doorbell and her boyfriend opened it for her. He was expecting her and was already dressed for the occasion when she walked in. Paul had a good 6 inches of height on Ashley and was well dressed for the weather. Paul was wearing a gray sweater and a black pair of jeans with a set of legwarmers that came up to just below his knees. His hands were clad in a black pair of wool mittens as well and he wore a warm black knit hat on his head.
"Good to see you Ashley. I am sorry, but it looks like we are going to have to walk. I mean skate to the path today. My piece of junk car broke down again. Can you believe that thing. I had to leave it at the college parking lot and Matt is going to tow it to the repair shop for me." Ashley let out a quiet laugh and stepped into the house. She always thought Paul needed to spend a little money and get a more reliable set of wheels. But as close as he lived to the campus the need was moot unless he was going out of town. So, when it broke he fixed it. It was an unending battle that she thought him a fool for fighting. Still, his taste in cars was the least of her worries. "So, are you ready to get started?" Ashley nodded and looked down at Paul. His skates were already on and he was ready to leave. Then, a small box on a chair near the door drew her attention. It was wrapped neatly with newspaper and bared a tag reading her name. She looked down at the package and back up at her boyfriend looking for an explanation.
Paul returned her gaze and began to speak. "A little gift for you from me. Go ahead and open it." Ashley reached down a and picked up the box in her hands and opened it. Inside was a box containing a new pair of roller skates. She shed her mittens from her hands and opened the box looking inside at the contents that it contained. Inside there was a set of quad white roller skates. It had four pink wheels set in the four corners the laces on her skates matched the wheels perfectly and fell right into place with her outfit. They were beautiful and Ashley just looked down at them. "Wow, where did you find the time and money." Paul smiled at her acceptance of his gift. "The rink's owner sell skates and accessories on the side. I knew your size and I just thought you looked terrible on those ugly brown rental skates. So, I thought if you wanted to pursue this you should at least have your own set of skates. Ashley thanked her boyfriend and began donning the skates.
Ashley removed her tennis shoes and deposited them on the floor near the chair where she was seated. Next, she pulled the skates on over her socks and began to tie up the laces. Once she finished, she shifted her feet back and fourth on the floor to test wheels. The turned a little easier than the ones on the rental skates last night. Ashley looked a little less sure of herself know than she hand coming through the door. Paul noticed the uncertainty in her eyes and tried to put her mind at ease. "Those look good on you are you ready to give it a try?" Ashley looked up at her boy friend as she pulled her mittens back on over her hands. "I guess I am. I am as ready as I'll ever be." Paul smiled and offered her his hand. "Don't worry we'll take it slow and I will be right next to you if loose your balance." Ashley took his hand and let him pull her up to a standing position. She tried to keep her balance by keeping one hand on the chair and one on her boyfriend. Their eyes met with a warm smile.
Paul took a moment to compose himself before deciding how it would be best to proceed. "Well, let's give it a try, remember keep your hands down in front and take small close steps." Ashley nodded and bravely let go of the chair and her boyfriend. She placed her hands palm down in front of her like she was pushing off a table. Her balance held well for a few moments, but then her feet went in opposite ways and she began to topple. Paul caught her immediately, and kept her upright. "Careful let's take it easy. You know, I probably have a helmet in the garage that would fit you. At least until you get your balance down. I don't want anything bad to happen to you." Ashley smiled back as she regained her balance and altered his stance. "I think I will be okay, but let's take it slow especially on the stairs here." Paul nodded and turned reaching to open the door to the house. As soon as his mitten hand closed around the door handle, a sound caught his attention and stopped him in his tracks. A vehicle was backing into his driveway and garage. He stopped his approach to the door and backed away instinctively A shiver ran down both of the young couples spines not knowing what was ahead of them.
Paul wasn't sure what who would be in his garage at this time. He wasn't expecting anyone. He clicked the door lock into place and scooted himself around the side of the wall to offer at least some cover. He found his mitten hand closing instinctively around a broom that he kept near the door to sweep out his laundry room. The engine of the vehicle in the garage silenced to a halt. Then, the couple listened as they heard a door open and footsteps begin to approach the door they were standing behind. Paul was confident that the door would hold and whoever it was would soon give up and go away, but he raised the broom above his head anyway. There was a quiet sound of something being forced into the door. A moment later, the door swung wide and the man entered the house. The man was an imposing figure dressed in a black coat and blue jeans. His face was completely covered by a black mask with only holes open for the eyes. Paul didn't hesitate even for a moment. As the intruder passed through the door jam the broom fell and tried to find it's mark.
The burglar barely saw the strike falling and tried to dodge it. His movements were more than successful He grabbed a hold of the broom and pulled hard on it trying to yank it from Paul's hands. Paul's skates didn't offer much traction against the tug of war and he was pulled forward hard. The robber surprised to see him on skates let go of the broom and let Paul fall forward onto the floor in front of him from the momentum of the broom. Ashley tried to come to her boyfriend's aid, but her inexperience worked in the assailants favor. Her feet came out from under her in a minutes time and she was face down on the floor next to her friend. Paul began pushing himself upwards, but the robber had enough. He planted his leg in the middle of Paul’s back and pushed him back down. Then he reached into the back of his pants and brought out a revolver and pointed it at the couple.
"Okay I give you an A for effort, but that is enough. I wasn't expecting any trouble getting in here and I have had enough don't move." The man pointed the gun downward at the frightened couple and told them to stay still. Ashley and Paul froze fearing for their lives A moment later a second man came through the door to the open room from the garage. "Hey, what are these two doing here I thought you said that there wasn't anyone home. This botches the whole job up." The second man addressed the first. "No it doesn't. It just makes it more interesting, go out to the van and get some ropes lots of it." The second Man nodded and came left the scene to return to the robbers van. Meanwhile, the other man in the black mask gave instructions to his new captives. "Ok listen up I am not such a bad guy. I don't hurt people, if they cooperate, the last thing I need a murder on my sheet so here is what we are going to do. We're going to tie the two of you up and rob the place. If you cooperate and don't try anything while were here you won't be hurt. But if either of you tries to escape or even yells for help I cannot promise that you will like what happens to you as a result. Do, we understand each other not a sound."
Ashley and Paul both nodded as they looked up from their place on the floor of the laundry room. The couple laid on their stomachs in complete silence. The second Man returned and went straight to work on them. He began with Paul since he was the male and more dangerous to leave untied. The robber kneeled down to straddle his young victim and set to work. The robber took hold of Paul's mitten hands and guided them into a crisscross position behind the you mans back. He took a long piece of white quarter inch rope that he hand brought in from the van and tied one end off to Paul's left arm leaving a 6 inch tail at one end. The robber began by tying the rope horizontally around Paul’s wrists rough 10 times. Then he took the coil and reinforced the first part of the tie by going around it vertically. With Paul’s hands tied securely, the robber set to work on adding his feet to the tie. Since he only had one long piece of rope with him, the robber took hold of Paul's left foot and bent it backwards towards his hands. When the back of his skate was within 6 inches of his wrists, the robber wrapped the free end of the rope around his ankle twice.
With his first leg secured, the robber pulled Paul’s second leg towards his first and began to tie his feet together. The robber made a good 10 or 12 coils around the you man's legs, then he took the more of the rope's free length and wrapped it around the center to tighten it down. However, the robber still had rope left. He used few remaining feet to encircle the distance between Paul's hand and feet and draw them even tighter. Finally, the robber knotted the tie off behind the top of Paul's skates well out of reach of his mitten fingers. Ashley just watched as her boy friend was moved away from any chance of being able to help her. However, she didn't have to wait long as the robber rose up from his first victim and came over to the second. He guided Ashley's mitten hands into a crossed patter and began tying them behind her back. The process and the tie were identical to Paul's perdicament and the robber soon finished knotting off the final piece of the rope behind the top of her feet. As soon as the Robber got up Ashley gave the ropes a few good solid tugs. It set in immediately just how helpless she was. She was scared to death and wondered how or even if she was going to ever get out of this situation. However, things were about to become much worse.
"Well, that should keep the two of you well out of our way. Now we just need to make sure that you keep quiet and don't alert anyone to our presence." The first robber said smiling behind his mask. The man reached deep into his pocket and brought out two small devices. They consisted of a rubber each about an inch and a half in diameter set on a strap that closed with a clasp. "Let's get these where they belong and help persuade the two of you to keep quiet." The first robber leaned own to where Ashley lay hogtied on the floor. He then, began to push the ball against her mouth trying to force it's way in. The college girl wanted nothing to do with having the ball gag pushed into her mouth. She resisted the best that she could, but when the gun was pushed against her head, she complied with the robbers demand do open up. Within seconds, the ball was between her teeth and filled her mouth to the brim. She tried to speak, but all she got was a hushed whisper. The robber finished the situation by rolling the poor girl onto her back so that she was lying on top of her bound hands with the wheels of her skates seated on the floor.
Paul put up less of a fight than Ashley did about the gag and being turned over. He understood his situation well and cooperated to the best of his ability. He was worried about Ashley and his life and putting up a resistance didn't seem like the best of ideas at the moment. With their two victims tied and helpless, the robbers dragged them backwards to clear the path in front of the door and went to work. The two of them departed the room immediately and began to ransack the house. They considered the couple handled and in no need of supervision. They were well hogtied and completely silenced. Still, they didn't want to attract too much attention to themselves and set about working as hastily as they could. Each of robbers took different areas of the house looking for anything of real value. Once they left them alone, Ashley and Paul began to explore the limits of their captivity. It turned out to be pretty minimal at best. They could only move their hands and feet a few inches away from the other set of limbs at best because of the hogties. The ball gags were effective. They could still each make a slight moaning sound, but their speech was unrecognizable and didn't travel beyond the room.
Their efforts were further aggravated by their equipment. The skates made it impossible to gain the necessary leverage to turn onto a side or even move around at all. The wheels as it turned out just spun on the floor from their efforts and offered no movement of any kind. The mittens they were wearing were a practical choice for keeping their hands warm on such a chilly day. But they made working the knots on the ropes impossible to untie with mitten hands. Mostly because it kept their busy little fingers all bulked up and stuck together making it very difficult to get a grip on the ropes. The two of them were both completely helpless as they laid there trying to think of a way to free themselves from this perdicament.
Paul and Ashley were both helpless to do anything but watch the robbers make runs down the hallway exiting the home with all of Paul's valuables. Anything that looked to be worth more than 5 bucks that wasn't nailed down ended up passing through the laundry room and found it's way into the robber's van. Neither of the couple even tried to escape when one of the robbers passed by which, was really every couple of minutes. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, but was really only about 45 minute the robbers finished their looting and stepped back out into the garage. The second robber left the two young skaters with a final bit of wisdom. "Well, that is just about all of it. It was smart of you to not to attempt anything. As I promised I won't hurt either of you, but I can't have you calling the cops after we leave now can I. I guess you guys will have to stay tied up for now. Good luck escaping from that and have fun." the Robber offered with a little chuckle as he exited the room closing the door behind him. Then, as Ashley and Paul listened, they heard the van start up and depart from the garage. As soon as they knew the robbers were gone, the couple set about trying to free themselves frantically.
Both of them attempted struggling, but try as they might the ropes held well against their efforts. The coils around their wrists and ankles were well positioned and prevented either of them from removing either their skates or mittens. This made getting free nearly impossible. They were both on their backs hogtied and completely immobilized. The gags compounded the problem in two ways. First, they made communication, with each other or the outside world completely impossible. Also, they prevented any effort to use their teeth to untie any knots at all. So, that pretty much left the young skaters struggling helpless on the laundry room floor. With a great deal of experimentation and a considerable physical effort, Ashley finally managed to shit from her back and roll onto her side with her bound hands and feet facing towards Paul. She was tired from the ordeal, but she wasn't quite ready to give up yet. She wriggle around quite a bit and moved herself towards her boy friend. With a little looking over his shoulder and a little exploration, she managed to find the knot that secured the ends of Paul's ropes.
Ashley set to work trying to pick the knot loose in hopes of freeing Paul to the point where he might be able to escape. She worked at the knot for what seemed like nearly forever, but it proved pointless. With the wool mittens overtop of her hands there was no way that she could pick the knot loose. After trying for more than 20 minutes, she finally just gave up. Paul and her were trapped and they couldn't free themselves without help. Ashley began to give up any hope of escape, the ropes were too well tied and she was dead tired from her escape efforts. The ball gag kept her silenced completely and her jaw was starting to ache. There was nothing else she could do. They were trapped like this and would probably be here until someone found them. There was nothing she could do about it. Paul did the only thing he could physically think of try and comfort Ashley. He moved forward a little bit so that she would be able to rest her head on his chest rather on the cold hard floor.
Ashley realized the gesture and took Paul up on his kindness. There was something about being in contact with him that made her calm down. Someone would have to come looking for them sooner or later she told herself. All they had to do was wait and hope. The couple laid on the floor together hogtied for quite a while in that fashion. They watched the last light of the day fade from the outside window as dusk started to set in. All or the sudden, there was the sound of another vehicle pulling into the garage. A rather loud rattling one, but a familiar one none the less. The couple sprang into action trying to get the attention of whoever had just arrived. Both of them started yelling into their gags as loud as they could, but it proved no more than silence to the outside noise of the car. A new wave of determination hit Paul as he gathered the last of his strength and lifted his bound legs off the floor. With a hard effort, he slammed the wheels of his skates. He repeated the process forming the sound like someone hammering. It wasn't a distinct sound, but an effective one.
A few moments later the door opened as a surprised Matt returning Paul’s piece of junk car opened the door and saw his friend and Ashley hogtied on the floor of the laundry room. He gave a quick laugh thinking at first that this was some kind of a practical joke, but after a few struggles and grunts the reality of the situation hit him. Matt bent down and undid the gag in Paul's mouth allowing it to hit the floor next to him. "Man am I glad to see you" Paul spat out as he drew in big gulps of air. "Someone robbed us and tied the two of us up. We have been here for a long time, you have to get us free. Get Ashley untied I don't think either of us can stand this much longer." Matt dug into his pocket and pulled out a small lock blade knife. He wasted no time. First, he removed Ashley's gag and then set to work cutting through the ropes. Paul filled him in on the details while he worked. After a few minutes, Ashley was free and Matt set to work on releasing Paul from his bonds. A couple of minutes later both of the skaters were free and beginning to rub their sore limbs.
Both Paul and Ashley shed their skates and mittens as soon as they were free. Matt took another minute to make sure they were both aright and then headed to his car to get his cell phone. After a few more minutes, the police arrived to survey the scene. The house was a mess and most of Paul’s valuables and electronics were gone. The robbers had been very careful. They left no finger prints behind by wearing gloves. Neither of the couple had seen their faces and all the neighbors had to report was seeing a large grey van parked in Paul's garage for a short duration. Paul and Ashley spent most of the rest of the night talking with the cops and filling out a report. Afterwards, Paul had Matt drive Ashley back to the dorm for the night. The young girl had been through a lot and just went to be. She skipped classes the next day and just tried to recover from the ordeal. She called home to let her parents know she was okay, and just to talk to someone about what happened. They were scared for her, but glad she was unharmed.
Later that afternoon, Ashley hear a quiet knock on her door. She opened it slowly and found Paul standing on the other side. "Hi Ash, you left these over at my house in all the confusion yesterday." Ashley looked down to see the skates that Paul had bought for her. "I understand if you never want to skate again after that, but I thought I would give them to you for when your ready. I even dug up the helmet I promised you yesterday if you want it. Give me a call when and if your ready and maybe we can still go sometime." Ashley looked down at the white skates with the pink laces and wheels and the faded blue bicycle helmet. She wasn't sure why, but she took them and seated herself on the floor of her room. She took off the slippers she was wearing and pulled one of the skates on over her left foot and did up the laces. She repeated it with the right foot. With the skates on, she looked down at the helmet and lifted it onto her head. Finally, she buckled the chin strap and stood up.
"How about today, I think I could use some time away from these four walls. Besides the weather is much nicer today and maybe it will take my mind off of what happened." Ashley offered smiling for the first time that whole day. "Sure, if you really want to, my skates are down in the car. They always are lets go if you are ready." Ashley took Paul's hand and let him serve as her support as they headed towards the elevator. Paul pushed the button and they waited for the elevator to arrive. "You know Paul, that was a horrible experience, but if I had to go through it I am glad that it was with you." The young man just smiled back as the door opened before them and they entered the elevator. The couple spent the afternoon together skating. A few months later Ashley finally got the hang of it and the two of them spent many happy years together skating. Paul's insurance covered the loss of his property and in a few weeks he got his life back together. The whole experience drew the couple even closer together. The robbers were never caught by the police and it is said they still rob houses, hogtying the poor people too unfortunate to be home when they come.
Well, that concludes my first fictional story for this site. It was a lot of fun to writing it and I am glad I could fill a request for a member here at the same time. I do hope that everyone enjoyed the little tale. Don't worry, I will get back to my own history on the subject soon. Let me know what you think about it if you have a few minutes. You guys all know what you did like, and what you didn't. Also, let me know if any of you have any other ideas for stories. This topic peaked my interest on the request part of the board. Who knows, maybe I will write another one some day. We have a lot of great authors here. Maybe some more of you could take some of the requests and we could have a great collection of stories here. Anyway, that should do it for now. See you all next time.
