Pretty Boy and the House of Horrors

Postby Sacrificiallove » Wed Oct 03, 2012 11:01 am

Okay, so here's another story, and I hope this will be better than my last two. I think it's better so far, anyway. I've written two parts, so if you guys like this, I'll post part two as soon as possible. The point of view will switch with each part.

Part One

I’m the kind of dude who’s not afraid of anything. I go out alone late at night even though I live in Detroit, Michigan. I can take care of myself. My six pack abs and enormous biceps lets people know I’m not one to mess with. If they do try to screw around with me, well, they’ll get the crap beaten out of them.

Since I work late hours, I’m always going home late at night. And one night in October, I had to stop by the Seven Eleven to get some microwavable TV dinners. There was no time to cook anything, and besides, I can’t cook worth a darn anyway.

I walked into the Seven Eleven. I picked out my TV dinners and went up to the counter. Some young guy checked me out. He looked bored out of his mind.

When I walked towards the door, I saw a woman coming in. She held the door open for me. “Thanks,” I said.

“No problem,” she responded. I barely even paid attention to her and only saw just enough of her to know she was tall. Taller than me, actually, and I’m six feet.

I walked towards my car just as a van was pulling in. I took out my car keys. My stupid 1998 Saturn was so cheap that I had to manually unlock it. And since it was freezing cold outside, my hands were shaking. I finally got my key in the lock and started sliding into the car when someone put their hand over my mouth.

“Don’t scream. You’ll only get hurt.” The voice was deep and gravelly. He was strong and it was I was having trouble fighting him off. I kept trying to squirm away until finally he held a knife to my throat. I gulped. Well this was just fantastic.

I compliantly went with him into the van. There were three other people in there. They were all wearing monster masks. Well, at least they were ready for Halloween.

The man who had grabbed me pushed me onto my stomach. He tied my elbows together, then my wrists.
“Hey, what the heck are you doing?” I shouted.
“Shut up, you stupid boy,” he retorted.

I struggled with them, but there were four of them and only one of me. Finally I submitted and they tied my thighs, ankles, and knees together. Then they tied my ankles to my wrists. I tried to see if I could loosen the bonds, but they were extremely tight. That’s when I realized there was no escape.

“Help mph—” I started to scream, but one of the guys shoved a cloth in my mouth and tied it behind my head. Then two of them went into the front of the van while the other two stayed in the back.

Before they could drive away, I started wriggling around and letting out muffled screams. The guys got mad though, and kicked me in the stomach. I still kept screaming. Then they kicked me in the face. My nose started to bleed. And after one more blow to the head, everything went black.

I have the next part written already, but I do need to proofread it. I think I wrote it in a different style than what I have been, so it might be kind of interesting. Maybe.

All right, since I've already written the next part, I'm going to go ahead and post it. And by the way, this should be pretty obvious, but the point of view changes here from the guy to the woman he ran into in the Seven Eleven.

Here's part two!

I glanced out the window of the Seven Eleven to see that darn pretty boy opening the door to his car. I hated pretty boys who thought they were hot stuff. I mean, obviously I didn’t know a thing about this guy and I was being extremely judgmental, but I couldn’t help it. I couldn’t stand guys who paraded around in see-through and tight-fitting V-neck T-shirts and tight jeans. And it was freaking cold outside! Why the heck would he be wearing clothes like that? I don’t care how much muscle a person has on their bones, they can’t go outside in thirty degree weather without some type of jacket on. I’m muscular and I still feel like I’m going to freeze to death in that kind of weather.

I was dreading winter coming. It was only October and it already felt like December. I shivered and turned back to the protein bars. I was hoping they’d have those peanut butter balance bars. Ah yes, here they are, I thought.

I heard a noise and all the ranting in my mind stopped. The noise sounded like a door slamming. I turned around and saw a white van through the window. I dropped the protein bars and ran to the door.

Pretty Boy’s car was still there, but he was nowhere in sight. His keys were on the ground, though. The van was driving off. I gulped. Something happened to Pretty Boy.

He’s in there, I thought. Those gosh darn pretty boys. They’re always getting into trouble.

Well, I had to do something about this. I couldn’t just let poor, kidnapped Pretty Boy suffer whatever fate was in store for him.

I ran to my car. Luckily I have a corvette and I can drive amazingly fast with it. I got in and started the car. As soon as I got out of the parking lot, I practically floored it. I tried to keep a safe distance behind the van, but I absolutely did not want to lose sight of it.

It was over an hour before the van stopped. I parked way down the road from it. Four guys got out of the van, carrying a tied up Pretty Boy. He looked like he was unconscious.

I shook my head. You’re an idiot, you freaking pretty boy. Learn how to take care of yourself, I thought.

I turned my head in the direction of where they were taking him. Well, this is interesting, I thought. It looked like some kind of haunted house. The entire exterior was made out of black bricks. The windows were boarded up. There was a hearse in the drive-way. On any other day I would have thought this was funny. There was a place like this in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This place was a freaking rip-off. But right then, it was no laughing matter.

A cold wind blew into my face. I shivered. Oh my gosh, Pretty boy, I think they’re going to kill you and use you as a dead body to freak the kids out, I thought. Of course, they won’t know the body is real. My entire body began to shake.

They had gotten Pretty Boy inside the house of terrors. I crept up to the house. I could hear noises coming from inside. It sounded like Pretty Boy was screaming his head off. He could sure make a lot of noise for someone who was gagged. He must have woken up.

I went around back. I couldn’t hear his screams as well back there. Maybe I was safe to go in. I put my leg against the brick wall of the house and pulled the board off a window. Then I climbed inside.

Thank God no one was in the room I dropped down into. I slowly crept from room to room, trying to locate Pretty Boy’s screams. I went into a room and suddenly heard his screams louder than ever. They were coming from below me.

A door started to open. Oh crap! I thought. I ducked behind a dirty old couch just as the four men came through the door.
“Do you think anyone will hear him?” asked one guy.
“Nah, this place is really secluded,” responded another.
“He has a great body. He’ll do well as one of our dead victims,” another one said.
The fourth guy just started to chuckle and locked the basement door. Then they went off into another room and up a staircase.

As soon as their footsteps faded away, I went to the door. I was pretty strong, so it wasn’t too hard to wrench it open. I closed it and went down the steps into a creepy looking basement.

Pretty Boy glanced up at me with recognition in his eyes. He had been crying, but now new hope was starting to brighten up his face. His nose was bloody and his forehead was bruised. The chin length brown hair on his head was completely disheveled. He was bound to a wooden chair. I approached him.

“Hey. I’m going to get you out of here, okay?” I said.
He nodded.
I took his gag out.
He spit onto the floor and looked up at me. “Thank you for coming to save me, but are you crazy or something? You’re going to get yourself killed!”
“Oh, shut up. We’ll make it out of here,” I said as I started to untie his bonds. “So, Pretty Boy, what’s your name?”
“Jayden. What’s yours?”
“Lisa.”

He nodded. A few minutes later I had him free. He rubbed his wrists. I took his hand and we bolted up the stairs and out the basement door. We ran from room to room, looking for the exit. Neither of us had time to see what the house looked like. We were just running for our lives. Finally, we found the exit, but as soon as I opened the door, I heard a gun being cocked. I turned around, but Jayden stayed facing the door. A gun was pressed up against his back.

“Don’t go anywhere, or you’re little boy toy here dies,” hissed one of the men.
I gulped.

To be continued...

Okay, so this part is narrated by Jayden, which should be pretty obvious, but in case it's not, well, I thought I'd say it. I'd like feedback, positive and negative, and tell me what you guys what to hear (but nothing damsel in distress related; I don't do that).

Part Three

I was paralyzed with fear. I had never been this afraid before. In fact, I didn’t even know what fear was until this happened. But with a gun pressed up against the base of my spine, I was mortified.

Lisa turned around and put her arms on the wall. “Go ahead, take us,” she said.

The other three fiends surrounded us. Two of them took Lisa’s arms and wrenched them behind her back. She looked at me for a split second and then looked down at my back. A second later she had bolted out of their grasp and knocked me to the ground. I looked up at her and saw that a bullet was lodged into the right side of her lower back.

She gritted her teeth, turned around, and launched a series of attacks on the four men. She punched and kicked with a ferocity I had never seen from anyone, man or woman. She looked very strong, even covered up by a black sweatshirt and loose jeans, but I couldn’t understand how she could even move after a bullet was fired into her back. And she took that bullet for me.

After about a minute, all four of the men were lying motionless on the floor. I was still staring at her in awe. She took my arm and helped me up off the floor. “Come on, let’s go,” she said.

“Don’t you think we should shoot them first?” I asked.
“No, we’ll get in trouble. Now, we have to get out of here.”
I nodded and we bolted out the door.

A second later I heard gun fire. We both turned around. The bullet was heading for my head. Lisa took the bullet for me again. She was about a head taller they me, and the bullet hit her shoulder. She winced, but showed no other signs that she felt any pain at all.

One of the men took a rock. He threw it in the direction of my crotch. And Lisa took another blow for me. The rock hit her in the kneecap. She almost fell over, but managed to stay on her feet. And then she sprinted towards the men, knocking the guns out of their hands and throwing them to the ground. But one of them kicked her in the same kneecap the rock hit her on, and she fell down on the same knee. That gave him time to get away.

He grabbed me. I struggled with all my might and I was about to win, but one of the other men came at me and grabbed my feet. The other guy grabbed me under the armpits and they carried me back into the house. No matter how much I squirmed, I could do nothing. These men were strong. Maybe if Lisa didn’t have to protect me, she could take them. But I couldn’t. I had never felt so weak in my life.

I glanced at Lisa for a moment. Our eyes met, and I saw her mouth, “I’ll come back for you.” But I didn’t know how she could manage that because both men were sitting a on top of her. But my last glimpse of her might have proved me wrong. She pushed herself up with her arms and the two men rolled off of her. But before she could make it to the door, one hoodlum punched her in the face, ran inside, and locked the door.

Apparently they thought I was making too much of a ruckus, so the guy who just ran in pulled a Taser out of his pocket. I felt my body convulse as the shock racked my body, and then I blacked out.

I woke up and realized my head hurt like heck. I was completely disoriented. My feet were bound above my head. I realized I was tied upside down!

My arms were tied behind my back and I was cleave gagged. I managed to lift my head for a second. My shirt was gone, but thank God they had left my underwear on.

I heard sounds of thunder, but they didn’t sound real. The constant flashes of lightening coming from the room I was in clued me in to the fact that the haunted house had come fully alive. The room had no windows, but I could see the lightening like I was outside. They must have turned all the special effects on. Now I guess the real horror would begin. If Lisa managed to make her way back in here, I didn’t know what kind of distractions might be in store for her. I was afraid for her life. Fake ghosts jumping out at her would be one thing, but what kind of weapons would be stored in a place like this? And without a doubt, they would be real. And blood would probably be covering every surface. The lightning and thundering would be distracting, hindering her vision and hearing. I hoped Lisa would just run and get the police, but I knew better. If she had followed me here without even knowing me, taken two bullets for me, and a stone to the kneecap, there was no way she was smart enough to think of her own self-preservation and leave me here to die.

As I thought about her broad shoulders, her approximately six foot six frame, her nicely shaped breasts, and her slicked back short blonde hair, I began to shake and tears welled up in my eyes. I knew nothing about her other than her appearance and that she was incredibly self-sacrificing. And possibly an idiot. She would almost certainly die because of me. And with that thought, a tear spilled out of my eye for the first time in a really long time. Since I knew she would do everything in her power to come back for me, I wanted to make it as easy on her as possible. I screamed out her name, but it sounded more like, “Fifaaaaaaaaaaa!” I kept letting out muffled screams, even when my throat started to hurt. I was trembling all over.

I might die tonight, I thought, and I might not ever know what happened to Lisa.

I really like your stories sacrificial and I like the way you have been realistic with Lisa's ability and not made her superhuman. Looking forward the to the next part.
I just know they're going to tie me up tonight,
They're bound to.

Thanks, Victimnumber1. Yeah, Lisa's certainly not superhuman, but by the end of it, you may think it's slightly unrealistic how well she can do with how hurt she gets. But I'm still keeping it in reality, albiet slightly stretched.

Here's the next part. And if you're reading, I'd really like to know what you think, even if it's bad.

Part Four

I cracked my knuckles as I went down the hall. My whole body felt like it was on fire. I knew it wouldn’t work to ignore the pain. I had to embrace it. I needed to want it. I knew what wanting pain was like; I just hadn't felt that desire in a long time.

I really have no idea how I managed to get those two psychos off of me. Every freaking time I threw them off of me, they came back. They could knock me over easily because a piercing pain ran through my knee when I tried to stand. But finally I told myself I enjoyed it. I made myself enjoy it. So when they slammed their bodies into mine, I pushed them backwards. And then with a good kick in the face, they were out.

With my body on fire, I ripped the door off its hinges. And now here I was, running around in a haunted house attraction. I jumped backwards as yet another ghost popped out of nowhere. My heart was pounding. And oh look, I thought. There’s a freaking cemetery with hands popping out of the graves. And look at this! There’s blood running out of a shower faucet. I kept shaking my head. When I was a teenager I would have had loads of fun coming here. Heck, if it wasn’t for the circumstances, I might have been enjoying it right at that moment. Too bad that death was certainly a possibility on this cold night in October. Maybe even a sure thing.

The thunder kept coming at regular intervals, but I thought I heard something else. At first I couldn’t detect it, but then I moved forward a little. Yeah, I was definitely hearing something. It was muffled, but it sounded like……my name.

I kept moving forward until I could hear it clearly. I leaned against the wall. He was in there! Thank God, he was in there! I set about trying to find a door, but there literally wasn’t one. I thought I was going nuts, but when I got to the end of the hall, I turned right. There was no door in that hall either. And another right turn only led me to a pool of blood (like literally, a pool) and to another hall. And there were no doors in that hall, just a fake vampire about to suck the blood out of a woman’s neck. And then I was back to where I started. So how the heck was I going to get in there?

I wandered around in the circle I just went in over and over again, trying to figure something out. I could try to bash the wall in with my own fists, but I wasn’t sure I had the energy for that. After I went past the blood pool, I leaned against the wall. The situation was helpless.
Wait a second, I though. I glanced back at the pool. There was a head sticking out of it. With an ax in it. It was crazy to hope the ax was real, but why not give it a shot?

The blood pool was incredibly deep because my feet didn’t even touch the bottom when I jumped in. It was cold and it freaked the crap out of me. I had to swim, but finally I got to the head. At least the head was fake. For a second I had thought maybe a real dead body was in there.
I gripped the wax head and put my hand on the handle of the ax. I wrenched it out easily. I took a look at it. It was indeed a real ax.
After that I moved quickly, new hope spurring me onward. I made it over to the wall and swung the ax. Chunks of plaster flew out of it, some going into my eyes, but I ignored it. I just kept on swinging.

Throughout it all, I could hear freaking Pretty Boy Jayden’s muffled screams, but thirty seconds after I had started, I could actually hear his voice. And then I saw his face. And the face of one of those perverted psychos. Jayden was upside down, attached to the ceiling by a long length of rope tied around his ankles. His face was red. And his eyes darted from me to the man and back again. The man looked directly into my eyes. His face evoked three emotions all at the same time: excitement, astonishment, and terror.

I made a space big enough to get through. I started walking in. And Jayden roared, “I hope she chops your freaking head off!”

Well, no one has commented, but I'll keep posting. I hope this doesn't suck, but even if it does, then tell me. Or offer constructive criticism. Or say something at least. If you're reading, comment. I want to know what everyone thinks.

Part Five

I had screamed Lisa’s name for about ten minutes straight. But she might not have been able to get back inside…..or she could have gotten captured too……or been killed. I shivered and continued to scream.

When the guy had come in, I started hyperventilating, which was bad, because I was gagged. And upside down. I thought I would pass out. He stared at me for a while. That’s when I heard the sound. Something was making a huge racket. It seemed like the whole room was shaking. I swung back and forth.

“Well, I guess she found a way to get in. I guess there’s no use keeping you gagged now. I want to hear your screams anyway, when I kill her.” He gave me a sadistic smile.

But Lisa had come perfectly equipped for battle. She looked like my knight in shining armor, although she was really beat up. But she could still swing an ax like her life depended on it. Which, it did.

When I saw her eyes meet mine, I screamed. My words were meant for her, but I shot them at the man just to make him piss his pants. “I hope she chops your freaking head off!”

Lisa approached, looking down at the ax. “I’m not going to kill you,” she whispered.
“What?!” I screamed at her. “You have to!”
The man just stood there, shaking his head. “What, you have too much humanity in you?”

“Yeah, I guess so.” She dropped the ax on the ground, but came up to the man and slammed her palm up his nose. She head butted him, and he dropped to the ground. She stomped on him. But then, things took a turn for the worse. He kicked her in her hurt kneecap. She managed to stay standing, but he kicked her again. This time she fell, way, way back, which gave the man enough time to grab the ax. I was afraid he would kill her, but instead he went for me.

“Have fun watching your boy toy get decapitated.” He was standing behind me and I heard him swing the ax.

I saw Lisa get up and run behind me. I heard her gasp and fall to her knees. I couldn’t see her, but I knew something had gone terribly wrong. I knew the ax had hit her.

She was making noises. She’s wasn’t crying or even screaming. She sounded more like how a person would sound when they’re in freezing cold water. “Lisa, are you okay?” I shrieked.

I heard the painful noise of her skin ripping. The ax was thrown aside.

“You freaking perverted psycho!” she shouted. I could tell she was in agony, but she did not sound any weaker because of it. In fact, she only sounded more terrifying.

I heard a thump and a few grunts. They were her grunts. The man, however, was letting out blood curdling screams. “You like that, don’t you?” mocked Lisa.

“Nooo!” the man shrieked.

Lisa came around to my side. “I think that will hold him off until I get you out. We can use these ropes to tie him up. We’ll see how he likes being bound and gagged.” She raised her eyebrows and gave a halfhearted smile.

I looked down. Her left thigh was bleeding profusely. Which meant both her legs were hurt. It was her right kneecap that took the blow of the rock. But her thigh must have been killing her. The wound looked pretty deep.

“Lisa, are you okay?” I asked as she untied the rope binding my ankles and suspending me upside down.

“I’m fine,” she said as I dropped. She caught me before my head hit the floor. And then she set to work on binding the guy. The skin beneath his armpit had been ripped to shreds. It was a terrible sight.

“How did you do that?” I asked.

“I pulled as hard as I could and dug in with my fingernails. That spot is weak.” She had finished tying him and then grabbed the cloth that had cleave gagged me and tied it between his teeth. Then she stepped back and gave him a massive kick in the balls. And then she limped over to me.

“Wait, hold on,” I said. And then I walked over to him too and stomped on his right leg, then his left. “That’s for destroying Lisa’s legs!” I shouted.

“He didn’t destroy my legs. They’re fine,” Lisa said as I took her arm and we headed out the door. I started to put her arm over my shoulder, but she shook me off. “I’m fine. I don’t need help to walk.”

I wanted to help anyway, but the thing was, she wasn’t really having trouble. She was limping, but she was still moving incredibly fast. I looked at her face. She was grinding her teeth. And she was scratching her arm with her fingernails. And I could tell, she was distracting herself. She was giving herself a duller pain that she could focus on, so she wouldn’t feel the pain that could kill her. She had a steely look in her eyes. And I knew, this woman didn’t give up. She came here to save me, and she was darn well going to do that. Death wasn’t an option for either of us.

Okay, hopefully the board is up and running now. Here's part six, and in a few minutes I'll post part seven.

Part Six

Jayden kept staring at me with his eyes wide open, as if I was going to fall over at any moment. I was trying to make him see that I was perfectly okay, but that was kind of hard when I wasn’t quite sure if I actually was okay. I knew blood was seeping from the multiple wounds in my body. Tons and tons of blood. Every movement sent stabs of pain up both my legs. My back felt as if it had been run over by a truck. Every bone in my face felt as if they were broken. I wanted to sit down and just die. But Jayden needed me. I couldn't give up until Jayden was safe. So somehow, I was still able to walk. If I just kept telling myself that I enjoy pain, each step became easier and easier. And digging my nails into my arms helped. It always had before.

Jayden and I reached a library. There was an outline of a body, like at a crime scene, with surrounding blood. A body bag with a bloody corpse sticking halfway out sat next to the fake crime scene. The body was a very fake looking wax dummy, thank God. Maybe Jayden had been the only one to be taken by these men. Maybe he was supposed to be the big scare at the end. Well, that wasn’t going to happen. I wouldn’t allow it.
Crime scene tape was placed all over the room. I had to rip it down. We reached a door on the opposite side of the room, but before I opened it, two of the men came back, pointing guns at our heads.

“Hi,” greeted the man holding his gun on me, grinning evilly.

“We’re going to give you a choice,” said the other guy, who was holding his gun on Jayden. “One of you can go free, but the other has to stay and be tortured to death. If you can’t choose, you both get shot.”

Postby Sacrificiallove » Fri Oct 26, 2012 11:54 pm

Part Seven

“Let him live. You can do whatever you want to me, but let Jayden go.” Lisa hadn’t even looked at me, and had jumped in immediately. It didn’t even seem like she had to think about it. Her decision was made in a split second. I knew that’s what she would say, but I had no intention of letting her sacrifice her life for me.

“Lisa, you can’t do that. It’s my fault you’re in this mess in the first place. I’ll go. You just get out of here and call the cops. And go to a hospital. You’re probably bleeding to death,” I urged her.

Lisa’s eyes turned cold. She dragged herself over to me and bent down so she was right in my face. I could tell she was in a lot of pain, but her eyes betrayed nothing. They pierced me to my core. “Pretty boy Jayden, you need to leave right now,” she hissed. “I went after you so that you could live. I am not letting you die now, and certainly not to save my life! Now get out of here before they shoot both of us!”

I didn’t want to listen. I didn’t want her to die. But she had a point. She had come here to save me. If I died, it was pointless for her to have come and to have gotten hurt. It wasn’t fair what was happening. But life was never fair in the first place.

I looked directly into Lisa’s grey eyes. “Thank you, for everything. I’m sorry.”

Lisa nodded.

I turned on my heel and walked away.

I didn’t look back after that. I didn’t hear anything. I would never know what was going on and what they would do to her. Tears started to spill from my eyes. Lisa was going to die for me. I began to shake as I imagined what they might be doing at that very moment. They would most likely tie her up and then….rape her. A sob escaped from my mouth at the thought, but I kept moving forward. If I went back for her, we would most likely both be shot.

I passed by a room. It looked out of place in this stark house of horrors. It had TVs. I went inside and realized they were showing what was picked up by security cameras around the house. And then my eyes fell on one. Lisa was sitting in a chair. One of the guys was holding a knife to her throat as the other began winding rope around her right arm, binding it to the arm of the chair. But Lisa hadn’t given up. She threw her leg out and kicked the guy who was tying her in the stomach. With her left arm, she tore the knife away from her throat, turned around, and head butted the guy. Then she untied her arm. As soon as she got up, I saw a few drops of blood dripping from her throat. The man must have been digging the knife into her skin. She felt of the wound and looked at the blood on her hand. She shook her head and began tying up the two men.
When she was finished, Lisa staggered forward. She was hurt so badly that I thought she might fall over and die right then. But she was alive. She had won against them. She had never intended to let them kill her. She just wanted me to be safe.

“Hi.”

I gulped. I had forgotten there was still another man running around the house. I turned around and tried to dart out of the room.
The man threw his arm out and struck me in the chest. I fell to the ground and banged my head on the floor. The wind had been knocked out of me.

I groaned as I tried to get up, but the man stomped on my knee. I screamed in pain as he put his other foot on my leg as well. He balanced himself there as I lay there, moaning. It felt as if the bones in my knee were shattering.

The man put his left foot on my left knee, balancing both feet on my legs. He grinned down at me as I shrieked from the stabs of pain in my leg. “You thought you’d get away, didn’t you? Well, we never intended to actually let you go.”

The man jumped onto my stomach and I gasped for air. I couldn’t breathe. He crouched down to put his face right in mine. I felt my vision growing fuzzy. I was about to die and I had no way to stop it. But maybe he had some bit of humanity in him. Maybe he would let me go. “I…I can’t...breathe,” I gasped.

The man gave a smirk. “I know.” He jumped down off of me. I turned over, gasping. My body was wracked with tremors. It took a few seconds for my vision to completely come back. I turned over onto all fours, trying to find a way to get back on two feet again. But the man had no intention of letting me.

He pulled me to my feet and shoved me against the wall. Then he dug into my shin with his shoe. He rubbed it up and down the bone in my calf. I let out a wail of pain. I had never known I was so weak. I screamed and cried as the man threw me to the ground and began to tie me up. He tied me in a hogtie. Then he got a cloth and was about to shove it in my mouth. But I said, “Wait.”

“What?” the man hissed.

“Lisa will come back. She’ll destroy you.”

The man just spat in my face and began to laugh. “Yeah, well, she may have escaped from my two friends back there, but she’s hurt so badly that I’m sure I could take her down in two seconds.” He shoved the cloth in my mouth. “And when I do, I’ll enjoy raping her.”

I gulped as he knotted the cloth behind my head. I decided not to scream this time. Maybe Lisa would believe I had escaped. Maybe she’d get out and call the cops. I didn’t want her to come back for me because the man had been right. In her condition, he’d take her down. So I stayed silent.

“Jayden!” It was Lisa. I had the impulse to scream, but I stifled it. “Pretty boy Jayden, where the heck are you?! I know you’re still here! You haven’t had enough time to get out!”

I heard Lisa’s footsteps. They were slow. I saw her image on the screen. She was staggering every step of the way. She looked agonized, but her eyes still had the steely gaze, like she couldn’t allow herself to give up. She was also digging her nails into her wrists. The more steps she took, the harder she seemed to scratch. All the while, she shouted for me at the top of her lungs. Her voice was low and raspy, like she could barely get the words out. I wanted to shout to her to just get the heck out, but I knew if I did that, she’d just come straight to where I was. And besides, she wouldn’t understand the words since I was gagged.

Her footsteps were getting closer. And then I saw her in the doorway. She looked at me, and then at the man, who had been silent as he listened to her shouts. He knew she was coming. He was waiting for her.

The man let her stare at him for two seconds before he lunged at her. He knocked her to the ground and punched her repeatedly all over her face. He punched her forehead, eye, check, nose, jaw, mouth, and then laid one right to the side of her head. He then smacked her in the ear. Lisa kept trying to stop him, but at this point, she almost seemed to have no strength left to fight. It seemed like her limbs could barely even move. I whimpered as I watched the blood flowing from face. Her eyes met mine, and a renewed fire blazed in them. Somehow, looking at me spurred her on. She hit the man in the side of the head with her forearm, enabling her to throw him off of her. Lisa crawled over to me, blood pouring from what seemed like every single part of her body.

She began untying me, but the fight wasn’t over yet. She had only untied the rope binding my ankles to my wrists, when the man threw a match in our direction and grabbed a gas can. He removed the lid as Lisa tried with all her might to get back on her feet. But she couldn’t do it fast enough.

“I kept this here in case something like this happened,” said the man. “Now we all die. Goodbye.” He threw the gasoline onto the match and our world went up in flames.

There was nothing Lisa could do to put out the fire, and the flames were blocking her path to me, since she had tried to stop the man, but somehow, she managed to find the strength to jump over them, burning her ankle in the process. She untied me as fast as she could, helped me to my feet, and took out my gag. The man was throwing matches all over and pouring the gas on top of the flames.

Lisa and I clutched onto each other. I was having more trouble than her walking, so she had to support me as we evaded the flames.

The man made one last attempt to kill us, but Lisa punched him in his chest, sending him into the flames. Her face crumpled when she did so. She must have felt...guilty. She had pretty much killed him.

But Lisa shook her head and looked at me, her eyes widening. “What did he do to you, Jayden?” she whispered.
“Don’t worry about it,” I said. “Just focus on getting us out.”
“You have a knack for getting yourself into trouble. I shouldn’t have left you alone. I’m sorry.”

I shook my head at her. “Shut up, Lisa. You have absolutely nothing to be sorry for. I’m sorry all of this happened to you. It’s my fault. But thank you for saving my life.” As I said all this, I felt my legs giving way. Lisa was pulled down with me.

“What’s wrong?” she asked.
“I don’t think I can go any further. My legs aren’t working,” I cried. “Just go ahead and get out of here. Leave me.”
Lisa shook her head. She bent down and placed one arm under my legs and the other arm under my back.
“What are you doing?” I asked.

She heaved me upwards. I don’t know how she had the strength to pick me up off the ground, but she did. She began to walk, staggering every step of the way. The flames were getting closer to us, and she managed to speed up a tad. I put my arms around her neck to make it easier for her to carry me, since I knew there was no chance of her putting me down.

When we got to the door, I unlocked her and pulled it open. Lisa staggered down the front steps, down the yard, and across the street. She placed me in the passenger seat of her car. It was a fantastic looking black corvette. I briefly wondered how she could afford such a car, until I saw her collapse against the hood as she staggered to the driver’s side.

“Lisa, are you okay?” I shouted.

I glanced at me and nodded. She leaned on the car. When she got to the driver’s side, she opened the door, but then turned around and looked at the house. The house was completely engulfed in flames. Lisa fell onto her backside, shaking uncontrollably. I leaned over the driver’s seat and tugged on her shoulder. “Come on Lisa. There’s no use in watching.”

She moaned, but slid her body up against the car and practically fell into the seat. “We have to get to a hospital. Call the cops on the way, but I have to get us there as quickly as possible. Your legs are in bad shape,” she whispered. She had almost no strength left to speak, but her eyes told a different story. She glared at my legs in horror.

My legs were indeed in bad shape. My pants leg had been torn and my left calf was bleeding and I could see a little tiny bit of the bone. I gulped, but looked at Lisa like she was crazy. “You’re doing way worse than I am. Are you sure you can even drive? I could drive if you need me to.”

“Don’t be stupid. Your kneecaps are probably shattered.”
“Your kneecap probably is too.”
“Not both of them, though.”
I rolled my eyes at her as she started the car. “Do you have a first aid kit in here?”
“Yeah, in the glove compartment.”

I took it out, got out the bandages, tissues, and the small bottle of rubbing alcohol. “Will it distract you if I bandage up your wounds while you’re driving?”

Lisa gripped the steering wheel hard. “Why don’t you bandage yourself up first? And then call the cops. I’m fine.”

I shook my head at her. I leaned over her and ripped the last shreds of her pants leg that were still covering the wound in her left thigh. I gasped in horror as I saw just how bad it was. The wound was very deep, and blood was still gushing from it. I ignored the terror in my stomach and cleaned the wound. She didn’t utter a sound as I rubbed the alcohol onto it. I bandaged it up and set to work on her bullet wounds. I nudged her forward and bandaged the one on her back, then the one on her shoulder, and then cleaned up around her face. I pulled her right pants leg up and bandaged her right kneecap as well. And then it was time for the scratches she had made on her arm. I started to pull up the sleeve of her sweatshirt, but Lisa pushed my hand away. “There’s nothing wrong with my arms.”

“You were scratching them. I saw them bleed.”
She shook her head, but I started pulling it up again.
“Jayden, don’t,” she pleaded.
But I pulled it up anyway. What I saw horrified me. “Lisa, what have you done to yourself?”

Her arm was not only covered in scratches and blood from today, but there were long pink and red scares, some that looked a few years old, but others that looked fairly recent. I stared at her, terrified. “Have you…cut yourself?”

She stared straight ahead at the road and didn’t say a word. I sighed and bandaged up both her arms, trying not to distract her as she drove. I bandaged myself up and called the cops. I told them the whole truth. They said they’d need to interview us, but they’d check out the crime scene first. Lisa didn’t utter a word for the rest of the ride.

When we got to the hospital, I tried to insist that Lisa let me walk, but she wouldn’t. She staggered into the ER with me in her arms. I had my arms wrapped around her neck, clinging to her, hoping that my touch would keep her going.

As soon as we came in the room, a ruckus started. They brought out two gurneys within thirty seconds. Lisa laid me on one and waved off the people who tried to help her onto hers. As soon as sat down on it and swung her legs over, she fell over. I saw that her eyes were closed. She had passed out.

So, I don't know if anybody really cares about this, but since I posted the last two ones in the middle of the night, maybe no one ever saw this. So I'm just posting this comment to see if anyone will pay any more attention to it now. Anyway, there's one more part to go, but it won't have any tie-ups, although maybe a discussion about a past one, but I have to think about it. But yeah, I'd really like to know what you guys think, even if it's negative.

In case anybody actually cares, here's the last part.

Part Eight

I opened my eyes and pretty boy Jayden was sitting on the foot of the bed.
“Hey, I was wondering when you were ever going to wake up.” Jayden gave a crooked grin.
“How long was I out?”
“Thirty-six hours.”
“That long?” I whistled. “I must have been in pretty bad shape. Well, pretty boy Jayden, how are you doing?”

“I’m fine. My right leg is broken and my left knee is shattered, but you, my dear, had to have a total of 107 stitches. And your kneecap is shattered. Fortunately, they’re setting you free tomorrow. They already discharged me. I had my friend pick up the keys I dropped at the Seven Eleven. I guess I’ll need you to drive me back there. I didn’t want to leave you here alone.”

I rolled my eyes. “Right, well, did you tell everyone what happened?”
“Yeah. I talked to the police. They know everything.”
“Even the part about me pushing that guy into the flames? I deserve some jail time for that, you know.”

“No you don’t,” Jayden retorted. “The police don’t think so either. They know, but you did it to save our lives. The man was going to kill himself anyway.”

I just nodded.

The next day they let me out. We walked out the door, but before we got to my car, pretty boy stopped in front of me. “Hey, do you…um…do you want to spend the night at my house? We can get my car in the morning.”

I stared at him in horror. Who did he think he was, asking that sort of question? I had vowed never to even be in a house alone with a guy again. He couldn’t seriously be asking that.

Jayden’s face fell when he saw my reaction. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have asked.”
I sighed. There was only ever one guy…I groaned. “Okay, fine. But this doesn’t mean anything. And I’m not sleeping with you.”
“No, I would never ask someone I just met—”
“I don’t mean sex. I mean I’m literally not sleeping with you. I’ll take the couch.”
Jayden snorted. “I can take the couch.”
“Uh, no.” I unlocked the car. We rode in silence the whole way home, except for when Jayden was giving me directions.

“Okay, here it is,” he said. I pulled up in his driveway. The house was small, but looked well-kept. It was white with green shudders and a small front porch with a hammock.

We went inside. The inside was amazing. Jayden seemed to be big on books of all kinds. He had movie posters of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Girl, Interrupted.

I smiled. “I like those movies. And the books as well.”

“Nice!” He gave me a high five. “Yeah, I work the night shift at a mental hospital. The history of the mental health world fascinates me.”
“Does it really?” I said sarcastically. The mental health world had a knack for pissing me off.
“Lisa, you…those scars…”

“I don’t want to talk about it.” I took off my sweatshirt and plopped down on the couch. “Well, even though I’ve been dead to the world for a day and a half, it’s already ten o’clock and I’m tired.

Jayden sighed. “No you’re not. You just want me to go away.”

I glowered at him. I wanted to yell at him, but I figured it was useless fighting about it. So I just hissed, “Don’t tell me what I want. I want to go to sleep, so good night.”

Jayden just nodded, walked to a closet, and threw a pillow and a blanket in my direction.
“Thanks,” I muttered.
“No, Lisa, thank you.” And then Jayden left me alone.

I started to twiddle my thumbs. He had, of course, been right. I wasn’t tired, and I did want him to go away. But now that he was gone, I wanted him to come back. I just wished he wouldn’t try to weasel his way into my life. My life was nobody’s business except my own.

But I had never told anyone what happened. And part of me wanted to just let it out for once. I couldn’t keep living the way I was. I only went out for work and to get food. I had no friends. I had no life.

I looked at the clock. It was 10:30 now. I tried closing my eyes and counting. I had only gotten to thirty when my mind filled with images of what happened twenty years ago. It was stuff no one knew, and no one should know.

I dug my fingernails into my arms. I decided to try a different method. I repeated a saying I had used whenever I felt this way. “Don’t give in, don’t give in,” I whispered over and over again. But it wasn’t working and dug my fingernails in further. I felt wetness on my fingers. Crap, I’m bleeding, I thought.

I got up and found the bathroom. I rinsed off my arm and then looked at myself in the mirror. My face was black and blue. But beyond that, I looked really upset. I hated looking upset.

I clenched my fists and bit my lip. I walked down the hall in the direction of the room Jayden had went in. I took a deep breath and knocked.
He responded immediately. “Come in, Lisa.”
I opened the door. “Hey.”
“Couldn’t sleep?” he asked.
“Yeah.” I looked at his bare chest and tried not to vomit. “Can I tell you something?”
“Of course.” Jayden pulled down the sheet on the other side of the bed and I climbed in.
I laid down, facing the ceiling. “Jayden, how old do you think I am?”
“Well, I’m twenty-eight, and you look to be about my age.”
“I’m not. I’m thirty-eight.”
Jayden gaped at me. “You’re that old?” Jayden winced. “I mean, you look younger.”
“Right, well, it will have been twenty years ago in a few days.”
“Twenty years ago since what?”

“Pretty boy Jayden,” I gave him a sideways glance, “I had a boyfriend for three years, from ages fifteen to eighteen. The guy was two years younger than me. He and I were really into bondage. I would always tie him up, and he quite enjoyed it. He would always get…hard, which would piss me off. A little while into the relationship, he learned to control his overactive hormones. So one day he asked me if he could tie me up. That idea repulsed me. I always wanted to tie others up, not be tied up. So refused. But once his sixteenth birthday rolled around, I let him. I had no idea he would…” I trailed off and looked away from him.

I could feel Jayden’s eyes on me, boring into my sole. “He raped you, didn’t he?”
“I don’t like to call it that. He took advantage of the situation.”
“Did you explicitly tell him you didn’t want to have sex?”
“Well, yes, but—”
He cut me off. “Lisa, that’s rape. Did you tell him to stop?”

“I tried, but he had…I was…” I trailed off again and closed my eyes. “He had gagged me.” I turned over on my side so Jayden couldn’t see my face. "I should've never let him tie me up. I was an idiot."

But that freaking pretty boy tugged on my arm. I tensed up and resisted.
“Lisa, come on. Look at me.”
I sighed and rolled onto my back again. “What?”
“You weren't. You never consented to let him do what he did." He took a breath. "Is this why you cut yourself?”

I clenched my fists. “Yeah. I…I can’t believe you work in a mental hospital, cause I had to go there during my first year at college. I had attempted suicide. They tried to put me on a whole assortment of medications. I wouldn’t take them. I know how they affect people. I can’t deal with that.”

“I’m not going to say I agree with the way psychiatrists try to tell with their patients. They tend to over-medicate people to the extreme. I just hope you’re never going to attempt suicide again.”

“I’m not.”
“What do you do for a living?” he asked.
“I’m a boxing instructor.”
Jayden snorted. “Wow, should’ve figured.”
I turned back on my side again.
“So you like tied up men?” he asked. “Do you know how ironic that is in the situation we just escaped from?”
“Don’t worry. I wasn’t turned on.”
“You know, if they had succeeded in tying you up, they would’ve raped you. And that last guy, he even said he would.”
“You think I didn’t already realize that?” I asked.
Jayden let out a puff of air. “You would’ve risked that…for me? For someone you didn’t even know?”
“I’d do it for just about anyone.”
“Well that’s…noble.” He paused. “One more thing. Why do you call me pretty boy?” he asked.
“Cause you’re the typical good-looking guy, and the type of guy that usually turns me off.”
“Oh really?” he asked. “Well, then, what type of guy turns you on?”
“Skinny guys. That guy, he was skinny.” I took a deep breath. “Maybe I should try other guys, since the skinny guy thing didn’t work out.”
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“What do you want it to mean?”
Jayden laughed. “I want it to mean that you’ll go out with me.”
“Then I guess that’s what it means,” I said, turning back around.

“All right!” Jayden pumped his fist in the hair. “But Lisa, I have some names for you. Tough girl Lisa, bad butt chick Lisa, my heroine Lisa, woman who saved my life Lisa, my knight in shining armor Lisa, my rescuer Lisa—”

I chuckled. “Good night, dude in distress Jayden.”
He laughed. “Good night, Lisa, and thanks for saving my life ten million times.”
“It was more like three, but who’s counting?”
“Actually, I think it was more like five or six.”
“Whatever,” I said.
Jayden ran his fingers over my biceps and then he put his arms around my waist. I tensed up at first, but then I loosened up a little.

I could hear Jayden’s breath growing heavy, as was mine. We were tired. We were exhausted. We were fatigued. And we needed each other. We were together, and it seemed like it was meant to be that way.

I swear about thirty seconds later, we both fell asleep at the exact same time.

So, in case anyone actually cares, I want to know what you'd like to read about next. I have two ideas. One is where a young woman almost gets kidnapped, but she turns the tables on the guy and gives him a savage beating. And then she ties him up and interrogates him as to whether he's done this to other people. The other idea is one that is actually more of a light-hearted story. A group of friends play this game where they capture each other, basically. There will be only one woman involved, but she's sure to be the best at the game.

To paraphrase that self publicicst fine American actress, Miss Cupid Stunt: Ah, but you're telling us the plot!

Miss Stunt was a character played by the late Kenny Everett, an English DJ and comedian. When sh'e done with flashing her legs and cleavage at an interviewer, she'd cross her legs in an exaggerated fashion and announce, "Ah, but I'm telling you the plot!" Thought I'd better explain that in case she's not known over the Pond.

Yes, well, I'm not telling you the entire plot, just the bare essentials. There's a lot more to the stories than what I said. It's basically just what you'd find on the back of book.

Anyway, do you have anything to say about this particular story now that it's done? Anything at all, even if it sucked butt? Or do you have an opinion on what story I should write next?

I have no right to suggest what you should write next and I think you've had my opinions throughout.

When you're ready, I am sure we'll enjoy your next story.

Well, all right, I guess I'll go with the girl gets to beat up the guy who attempted to kidnap her one.

As far as your opinions, yes, I have had your opinion, but are they any different for this one as opposed to the last one? I do suppose the amount Lisa gets hurt in this one is very extreme, to say the least, and yet, once again, she fights like a superheroine. But that is something I refuse to change lol.

As for the rest, I tried to cut down on the amount where I had nothing else but dialogue, although sometimes it is kind of a lot. But I honestly like this story a lot better than the last one. But that's just me, and that's mainly because Lisa is an even better heroine than Claire was. Feminism for the win! Lol.

And oh wow, I totally missed that "when she's done flashing her cleavage" part. Gosh, so, if I understood that correctly, the plot was basically about a woman being sexually objectified?

No, she was emloying her assets on her own behalf.
She was a charicature of one of those "actresses" who reconned her work was "art".
Imagine a totally over the top Bette Middler but without the good taste and discretion! (English sarcasm)

That Bette Midler reference was a little lost on me. She's a little too old for my generation. I've heard of her, but I really don't know who she is.

A bloody marvelous voice? I just youtubed her and I don't like her voice. And now, this is not coming from some girl in her late teens who listened to Lady Gaga or whatever mainstream pop artist equivalent you guys have "over the pond." I don't like Lady Gaga. Nor do I like Bette Midler.

Whoaaaa.........I can't even tell you how much that means to me! Like, this story is old and a few pages back, and it's finished, so I had no idea someone would comment......like, thank you sooo much!

I write other ones too, sort of similar to this. I'm currently writing one called He Messed with the Wrong Woman, in case you want to check any of them out (I kind of hate it when I start advertising my own writing to people, but whatever. If you liked this, you might like the other stuff).
