I have no idea which comment you mean but here’s my twopennorth, which I have been suppressing for quite some time:

I don’t like to read sex oriented stories (unless they are very skilfully written) or porn in general. No problem, I can avoid them by either not completing my reading of them or by recognising the name of the author and not even starting to do so.

All the while other board members enjoy such reading, that’s not my problem. They are entitled to their preferences. I don’t ask, “Are such stories suited to this site?” They obviously are or members would not read them.

Perhaps some people should rather ask whether this site is suited to them or, more relevantly, whether they are suited to this board.

Sorry, all those with open minds, but I’d be really glad if the fundamentalists stopped preaching. There are surely other sites where they could do so. Opps, sorry: they’re obviously already populated by people of the same persuasion so there’s no point in posting on them.

OK. I’ll take my pills. I’ll sit down and relax, but will someone please suppress all this fundamentalist rubbish?

I dunno what posts are being talked about here, or who is being talked about, but I'm against supressing any speech. What is one person's rubbish is another person's truth. As long as no one is forcing me against my will to listen, I'm good with everyone saying whatever they want.

if you can shut someone up today, tomorrow someone may want to shut you up. That's no good....

What's with this board the last few months? Every time someone says something slightly mean to someone else, they have to go make a whole new thread about "if I offended someone, I am sorry" or "certain members of this board don't like me" or "some people are rude and should stop being mean to me" or "blah blah blah similar things". What got this all started?
