The best way to get them started

Postby haloguy » Sun Nov 22, 2009 2:23 pm

I have a friend who I think likes TUGs, but is not sure what to make of it. Today for instance, we were playing in my back yard, when he saw some string, and bound my wrists. After a bit of that, we left and he went home for dinner. As I said, I think he likes it.

I am not sure if I should cleverly position several bandanas and coils of rope near him and I, or just ask him and risk embarrassing myself. What would you do. I have almost no TUG buddies except for one friend chris who almost never comes over.

What would you do?

Until you know the person well enough I would go with option A: Clever positioning, If your good friends with him maybe try option B. But go with A first, My advice.

Thats actually not a bad idea, the conveiniently placed ropes, bandanas, and/or duct tape. That sounds like the best way to get friends involved.

Another option would be to read the dozens of other topics here dealing about the wonder question "how to get people into TUGs"; there are some pretty sound advices here.

It's a good idea to place some stuff but don't over do it. Maybe a couple strands of rope or something like that. If he isn't into tugs to much stuff may make him nervous. Another idea is to conveniently find some rope lying around and try the same thing he did to you and try to tie his hands. If that works try to take it further, but remember to ease into it.
