What perspective do you prefer a TUG story to be from?

I personally believe that the stroy sounds best if the author writes it from the perspective they're more familiar with. So for example, if there's an author who dominates in real TUGs (or rps or whatever) I'd prefer to read their stories from the perspective of whoever's doing the tying. Same is true for the reverse, it just feels so much more immersive that way.

As for the third option, I feel like it's a solid choice for shorter stories instead of multi-part tales. For quick stories with maybe a handful of posts or less, for example. It can be a bit tricky to fully engulf yourself into the story using this method, so it takes either a small tale or exceptional writing skills to pull it off.

I'm no expert on the matter, just my opinions.

I think it's better suited from whoever is tied up.

Third-person limited, mostly focusing on the one getting tied up.

I especially enjoy the two first options, but after taking a look at some of the stories I enjoyed here over the years, I'd have to say stories told from the perspective on the one being tied up are my favourite.

The first poll option seems pretty popular with the readers here.

They all three have their appeal, while often the third person stories have a little bit less appeal to me.
What's far more important to me, though, is that the story is well-written!

I would suggest it depends on the story, the writer, and various other factors, including the readers preference. One is not "better" than the others, it's all up to whatever appeals to the individual.

For me, I like perspective of the person tied the best, then the tier, then 3rd person, in that order.

I write most of my stories in 1st but when reading, does not matter as long as the story is good.
