TUGs without restraints?

Postby Gemscot » Sat Mar 27, 2010 10:12 am

My brother was boasting about his manly prowess on the way home from Karate last night, so when we get home he "learnt and lesson in humility!" LOL.

I wrestled him down, sat on his stomach, pinned his arms to the floor with my knees and tickled him mercilessley and made him beg for mercy several times before I finally let him up! LOL.

A TUG without restraints?

I agree. I think the better phrase to use here would be "preemptive strike."

Okay, maybe not...perhaps simply "tickle-fight" would work just as well. Whatever the case, sounds like you gave it to him!

Fair enough.

My thought was that as he was imoblised by my weight on his stomach and arms, it achieved more or less the same as tying him up.

I do see your points though.

This is kind of a restraint... You are restraining him by the weight of your body! :)
Just because you are not using material restraints like handcuffs, rope etc.. does not mean what you are doing is not a form of restraint, of course it is... You are restraining him from moving because your body weight is holding him there.. you are physically restraining him! :)

I second the thoughts above... This is not a TUG, it is just a simple TU (tie up) but then again he is not 'tied' so whether it can be classed as that is just another thing... maybe you can call it a 'body restraint' as you are restraining him via your body :)

I would actually call it the opposite--restraint without being tied up (or tying up from your point of view).
