Could anything ever make you stop liking TUGs

Postby BrendonTie » Wed Oct 02, 2013 12:39 pm

I have a question for all tug lovers. It may seem like a strange question, but I found myself in a situation not too long ago, and have been a bit confused about how I feel about tugs, ever since. So here goes-

If you love being tied up, and got tied up during an unpleasant, but real life situation, such as a kidnapping, home invasion, etc. Would the experience put you off tugs, in any way?

It’s actually a good question.
I had an incident a couple of years ago which did not involve an actual abduction/home invasion, but it could have and was (in retrospect) very scary.
My response was what I think it should always be when one is confronted by such situations. I will not let a scare, no matter how unnerving at the time, deprive me of something I enjoy so much. It’s compounding the trauma to allow it to change your lifestyle or stop you doing what you love.
Of course, this is just my opinion, and It depends on circumstances and personalities.

Well, nothing unless tug done in commission of a crime when I'm the victim, I would be traumatized for life.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

I would think any real-life kidnapping or something like that would probably do it. Otherwise, it would take a really, really bad experience during a TUG.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it. I had a bad experience recently, not very long after I joined this site, and it doesn't feel the same anymore.

There IS one thing that is making me stop loving TUGs - in least, in practice though not in theory - and that's getting old.
Me that is, not TUGs.
In the last few years I've been slowing down a lot and developing arthritis, and I can't 'hold it in' as long as I used to either. So for me being tied up for any length of time would be very impractical. Ties I used to endure for hours at a time in adolescence would be too uncomfortable now in far less time, and some would be outright excruciating. Hogties; forget about it!!! A hogtie now would simply hurt way too much!
But this is regards to actual practice only of course; in my head and my fantasies I love TUGs as much as ever. I can't just do them anymore, and haven't had any since 2001. I miss them too (not the only thing I've had to give up as I get older neither  ).
Dare to be different... and make a difference.

Pretty much impossible for me to say. Really depends on the circumstances and the possible circumstances are pretty much unlimited (could be from light, to very extreme situation).
