Waking Up Tied

Postby snobound » Sun Sep 26, 2010 1:59 pm

I've come to find that one of the great thrills of bondage- for me, anyway- is waking up to the realization that you're tightly bound. It can be difficult to fall asleep in bondage in the first place, but if you enjoy long-term tie-ups like I do, then you're "bound" to drift off at some point. I can't say that I've ever enjoyed deep sleep while tied. More often than not its brief periods of fitful sleep accompanied by very bizarre dreams.

A bondage scenario that might result in me falling asleep will more than likely involve long term, total immobilization, including head gear (either a sensory deprivation hood or head harness muzzle/blinfold combination). Waking up in regular circumstances generally involves the transition from complete darkness to some greater level of illumination- an element that is missing when I wake up in a completely immobilized and hooded state. The eyes open, though light fails to reach them- a very unnatural occurance. This fact is usually jarring enough to bring about a sudden whole body muscle contraction, which is usually when I'm flooded with the realization that I'm helplessly tied up. Each time that this occurs over a period of hours is like experiencing the intial trussing for the first time, over and over again. The longer it takes my brain to come to grips with the fact that I'm bound, the more exciting I find the accompanying stab of panic and spike of adrenaline.

Jordan, one of my tug buddies, filmed me once while zipped-up, tightly laced, and strapped into an incredible sleep sack (the one I described in a recent story). I was also wearing an intense sensory deprivation hood that was secured with lacing and a number of exterior straps. I watched the video with my mouth agape. I spent about five hours inside the cocoon of leather. After two hours of continuous struggling, where I squirmed like an inchworm in pain, my body finally went still. It was plainly obvious that I had finally fallen asleep- it was wicked late, like 3:00 a.m. After only a short period of slumber, I had begun to thrash and moan involuntarily and incomprehensibly into the padded interior of the hood. After a few minutes I would inevitably settle down- drifting back to sleep. I repeated this every fifteen minutes to a half hour, for the remainder of the night. Every bout of wakefullness was like a new and exciting bondage experience. I love it.

I'm really curious to hear about your experiences regarding bondage and sleep. Care to share?? :bondage1:

When I was in camp, my friend Jeff tied my hands and feet to the the railings of the bottom section of the bunk bed. I woke up being unable to move. His friends woke up and tortured me by putting rubbing alcohol on my chest and armpits, tickling my entire body, smearing me with peanut butter, pinching my nipples, and spraying me with a water nose. I was only in my underwear when they did all of that which is why I think they picked me as the prank victim.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

Rubbing alcohol as a torment is definitely new to me. I wonder if it was chosen for the dramatic cooling as it evaporates... almost like applying ice cubes to someone while tied.

Back when I used to do selfbondage more often I once looped some knotted rope around my wrists. It was tight enough I had to struggle a little to get out of, but not tight enough to keep me trapped more than maybe 10 seconds or so normally. But once I fell asleep after doing that (I usually did it at night). I woke up in the middle of the night to find my wrists fairly securely bound. I don't know if rope tightens over time or what happened but I had a heck of a time getting out of it.

The blindfold thing probably wouldn't get me. When I was in college I used to have to wear those sleep mask things because the sun would come in through my window and I'd never sleep past 7 if I didn't wear one, so I got used to only seeing a little bit of light in the morning. It did keep me from being late for class though.

My own observations from tying others has taught me that even while sleeping, a sub will often struggle against whatever is restraining them- often in short, explosive bursts. That is, of course, if their sleeping soundly. Otherwise, I've seen subs pull at their ropes/etc. with light, steady pressure when asleep. Either occurance would likely result in the tightening of ropes. I like adding more restriction while a sub is sleeping- a nice surprise for when they wake up.

Another fascination of mine are the strange dreams that accompany bondage (at least for me).... anyone care to share their recollections?

I woke up blindfolded and tied to a bed once it can be a bit jarring when you don't remember what lead to it. I asked what was going on, i heard my friend say i was tied to a bed. Before my friend could get the blindfold off i was back to sleep. I ended up waking up couple hours later still tied to the bed.

That's the precise sensation that really excites me.... especially if your captor refuses to acknowledge his/her presence upon waking up.

i know what you mean about the dreams, Snobound, as i have had dreams of being kidnapped with a friend, or seeing myself dressed as robin and captured with a friend who i wanted to be tied up with dressed as Batman....all while bound overnight.

Since I was tied up for lots of overnights from an early age, I got rather used to sleeping while tied up. For a while in fact I had trouble sleeping when I was NOT tied up!
I have noticed that my dreams were more vivid when I was bound. Usually I slept like a baby - especially if someone was with me. For some reason I usually had very peaceful dreams while sleeping bound. Occasionally though my dreams would be disjointed and inconsistent, and I would find myself unable to move even in my dreams. At such times I woke up in a sweat to discover I had been tied up even more strictly while I slept than when I'd fallen asleep - usually by my cousins. But this was uncommon (the negative reaction Im mean; not the extra tying while I slept - that happened a LOT when I slept with my cousins or friends).

This has happened to me two times

Once I woke cuffed, spread eagle, to the bed posts of a bunk bed, my first real bondage experience.

Another time I woke up all taped up. She had taped my ankles, knees, my hands behind my back, wrapped around my waist and arms, and wrapped around just below and above my breasts. She put my hair up in a ponytail and wrapped tape around my head a few times. Then she did some light tickle torture, pulled my hair, and finally left me there until the next morning. I had the whole week with her, tied like that the entire time

WOW...All the times anyone ever tried to tie me I'd always wake up just by them being in the same room or standing over my bed and (once they got as far as touching me to move my hand in place) I"d always have this feeling of a prescence or sense movements and it'd wake me. If I'd known any of you...based on what I've been reading ...I'd have had a grand ole time pranking you.

Some years back my then-regular playmate was recovering from some injury; it was all done and over with but he was still taking muscle relaxants, which made him sleepy.

He got into his outfit, a black dress, pantyhose, and high heels, and we went down to the basement. She took one of the pills and I left her in a hogtie I knew she'd be able to get out of. And she fell asleep.

When we debriefed later, she said that waking up bound and gagged scared her! It took a minute to remember what happened and why, after that she was cool with it and struggled until she freed herself :)

This was generally true with me as well. I was caught by surprise by my cousins the first time I got tied up because I was sharing a room with one of them and he waited until the we hours of the morning, when I was already used to hearing the sounds he made and tuned them out. The way I slept, my hands were already close to the place they needed to be for him to handcuff me to the bed railing. Walter has sneaked in and had no trouble simltaneously cuffing my feet to the other railing. t took them only a matter of seconds, by which time I was plenty awake but already trapped!
Other times they tried to ambush me in my sleep. I always heard them. I also usually just pretended I was still asleep and them tie/chain me up anyway!!! :big:
