THE RETURN OF MAGNAMAN - THE UNAUTHORIZED SEQUEL TO BOUNDGAL AND NAUGHTYNATS IN PERIL

PART 1 – THE BIG GUY IS BACK!!!

Deep in the forests of Yellowstone Park, a sinister figure began a strange ritual. In his hand was the Staff of Power, which had cost him much effort and suffering to regain from the mystical dimension to which it had been sent. Reaper was now determined to reap the reward for his unswerving loyalty to his greatest friend, the mighty and magnificent Magnaman.

Those do-good fools had thought he had reformed, but it was all an act so that he could bide his time and recover his power, and bring back his powerful friend. And now the time for his revenge and Magnaman’s was at hand!

The Staff of Power was held aloft. A few words in a long forgotten language were chanted aloud. A bolt of lightning hit the staff, caromed off, stopped in mid-air, and swirled around as if caught in a tiny hurricane that spun vertically in the air. The air turned cloudy as it spun faster and faster, and then it opened from the center outward. The opening expanded into a circular portal eight feet in diameter; revealing an utterly strange and eerie realm beyond.

A muscular gray figure seven feet tall abruptly stepped into view just before this strange portal closed again.

Magnaman had returned to Earth!

Jubilant, Reaper rushed forward and fell to one knee before his long missing friend.

“OW! Dammit!” cursed Reaper as he stood back up. “Damned mud is slippery!”

“Greetings my friend!” said Magnaman in his booming bas voice as a disgusted Reaper brushed dried mud of the knee of his pants. “You are a true friend indeed to use the Staff of Power to free me from my imprisonment.”

“Friend, shmend!” groused Reaper as he straightened up. “You still owe me over a thousand bucks from Poker Night! How am I gonna collect while you’re stuck in that dump huh? Now fork over the dough and we’ll call it even.”

“I find myself a little tapped out at the moment, my dear friend,” replied Magnaman with apparent regret as he dramatically turned out his empty pockets. “But fear not. I will pay you back well for he favor you have done for me. But first I must get my revenge against all those – those vile, rotten people who stuck me in that dump and said good riddance! Oh, the things I wll do to them! Boundgal, Light Boy, Naughty Nats – all wil feel my awesome wrath. But most of all, I will utterly crush the despicable Cricks!!!”

“Yeah, he’s been a pain in my backside too. Him and I have been fighting tooth and nail in at least four other forums now, and neither of us ever seem to prevail. I’d like to see his ass get kicked once and for all!”

“And so it will be, now that I have the magic from the Staff of Power!” said Magnaman.

“Uhhh, actually I was thinking of keeping this stick for myself if it’s all the same to you,” replied Reaper hesitantly. “I went through a lot to get this stick, and why should you have all the power?”

“Well, too late my friend,” said Magnaman with a laugh that was horrible to hear. “I absorbed all its power when you freed me. It’s power has already been added to my own already awesome might!”

“What?!” yelped Reaper as he looked at the Staff of Power and realized to his dismay that it was true; the once beautiful object was now just a charred mass of useless wood. “Aw, man. I lose a powerful magical artifact like that for a lousy poker debt you can’t even repay?! God damn, what a stinking rip-off!!!”

“Feat not, my friend!” Magnaman reassured his distraught friend. “You will receive your losses back a hundred-fold and more. But first, I must get my revenge. And can you guess who I intend to start with?”

Reaper thought about it for a moment. “Umm, Light Boy?” he finally ventured with a smile. “You always seemed to have a thing for…”

“No, not Light Boy!” growled Magnaman. “Read the title, fool! Who were the stars of the first story?”

“Oh, oh yeah, okay!” said Reaper as he looked up to read the title.

“As they say, the victors write the history,” continued Magnaman. “Well, what a fucked up job they made of the one that concerned me!!! Now I will write the history of my return, and many will weep at the reading of it! Bwaahahahahahahaha!!!”

Every animal in the woods within earshot of that horrible laugh immediately died of heart failure. Reaper himself felt a little faint, but managed to recover himself.

Magnaman was back, and this time there would be no stopping him!

Magnaman and Reaper set forth to kidnap and enslave Boundgal and Naughtnats!!! The mighty Magnaman positively drooled at the thought of what he would do to them when he got his hands on them.

If Boundgal only knew what was in store for her…

Not in MY story, Pal! Go write your own sequel!!!

PART 2: THE PERILS OF BOUNDGAL

Reaper wasn’t too unhappy for very long. Once they reached Magnaman’s Most Secret Hideout, he was given a husky puppy and a fancy sword. “Hold the sword up over your head and say the following…” Magnaman instructed him.

“By the power of Gay-skull!” shouted Reaper as he was instructed.

Lightning crashed down upon him from out of nowhere and Reaper was transformed into She-man – the transgendered super-villain.

“I said GRAY skull, you idiot!” yelled Magnaman. “Try it again!”

Reaper did as he/she was bid, and became He-Ra, the strongest man in the Universe! And his husky was transformed into Overdog; the mightiest mutt in the universe!

“Wow! I’m even stronger than you are now!” exclaimed Reaper gleefully.

“Don’t flatter yourself, dude!” replied Magnaman with a grim smile. “You may have a tad more physical strength than I do now, but I still have other powers you do not such as my near-invulnerability and ability to heal rapidly. Absorbing the Staff of Power’s magic has given me certain magical powers too. I am still superior in power to you – but be assured that no one else is in the whole wide world.”

“I can live with that,” replied Reaper with a laugh. *And once we deal with everyone else, maybe I will be number one as well once you’re out of the way too, hambone!* Reaper thought to himself.

*******

Once again the whip kissed the small of Nat’s back, and she screamed in to her gag and struggled feebly – flailing her shapely legs uselessly as her shackled feet dangled two feet above the carpeted floor. But it was no use; she was hopelessly trapped as she hung by her wrists from soft, well-padded but very secure leather restraints connected by chains and looped over a metal pipe above her head. She could only hang there and writhe in pain as the whips kissed her near-naked backside again and again. Her gag and blindfold covered more of her body than the bikini she wore did, and she was completely unprotected as her captor whipped her again and again without mercy.

*How much more of this torture can I take?* the helpless Naughty Nats asked herself.

As if in answer to her question, she heard her captor step onto the chair she knew was in front of her, and a moment later her blindfold was removed. Nats blinked in the unaccustomed glare for a moment, before focusing on the face of her captor.

“Had enough yet Nats?” Boundgal asked with a smile tinged with concern. She was wearing nothing more than a slinky bikini herself – but hers as all black while Nat’s bikini was pink. “Your back is starting to look awful raw. You sure you want all fifty that you asked for?”

Naughtynats nodded her head vigorously. Boundgal had only done 25 so far, and she wanted the rest of her fifty lashes as well.

“Suit yourself,” said Boundgal as she slipped Nat’s blindfold back on, got off the chair, and prepared to resume the whipping session.

Before she could deliver any more lashes however, her bondage session was rudely interrupted as Magnaman burst in through the front door and Reaper aka HeRa burst in through the back.

"Magmaman!" Boundgal cried in dismay.

"That's MagNAman, damn it!" snarled that worthy. "Not Magmaman. I don't have anything to do with molten lava! Mangaman means I'm STRONG! Dig it, lady?"

Boundgal could do little more than take in her situation before she was indeed a bound-gal – but she was able to do one thing before the despicable villains laid a finger on her. She was able to press the emergency call signal on the special cell phone given to her by her friends; now they would know she was in trouble and come to her rescue.

But alas the other heroes were either tied up (literally) in an important meeting or were engaged in aiding people whose remote village was being destroyed by a volcanic eruption and a consequent tsunami out in Indonesia. The one exception to this was Light Boy – but he had unwisely played a prank on a fellow student at his school (involving wrapping clothesline around said student so quickly he was mummify-tied in an eye-blink) and was now stuck in Detention!

There was no one to help them as Boundgal and then Naughtynats were once again kidnapped by the evil Magnaman and the grim Reaper and taken away to their hideout to suffer cruel and hideous tortures at their hands.

They were given maid’s outfits, with hobbles on their feet and cuffs in their wrists, and forced to cook and clean for their captors. Failure to do so involved being locked in a large glass cage full of lively, hungry tarantulas! Wisely, the two young ladies decided to bide their time and wait for help to arrive. Surely help would arrive eventually!

Provided Magnaman and Reaper did not kill them all off first!!! But even though the heroes did not as yet know that Magnaman was on the loose again, the diabolical villain was wasting no time in plotting their imminent demise!

First up would be the source of all of Magnaman’s woes: Cricks himself.

Sorry BG there was no room but you'll be in the next part for sure.

PART 3: CRICKS GETS WHAT’S COMING TO HIM!!!

Magnaman immediately launched an attack on the headquarters of those dratted heroes who caused his ignominious defeat before. He had learned that their worldwide organization was secretly headed by a shadowy figure named Cricks; a very strange but highly intelligent individual who masterminded their entire operation in secrecy. But Magnaman was wise to Cricks now, and was determined to wipe him from the face of the Earth he wished to rule for himself!

The heroes that were there were caught completely by surprise, but unfortunately for both they and Magnaman not all were present at the time. It was unfortunate for them because were they all present perhaps they could have somehow prevailed. It was unfortunate for Magnaman because he had hoped to defeat all his enemies in one fell swoop. But half a loaf was better than none.

Only James Rolls, Chase Hansen Ricks, Chad Rockwell, Jenna Firemage, and the intrepid reporter Suestruggles were at the headquarters at the time. Nuclearo was at the Nuclear Facility designing a new fusion reactor that promised to supply cheap energy for the entire world. Kyle was at the library doing research for a cure for all cancer he was developing. Lightboy was... still in detention at the School of Superhero Sidekicks.

The heroes put up a valiant struggle, but they were no match for Magnaman even had had he been alone. But with the help of Reaper and Overdog as well, they were defeated almost without effort and trussed up in jig time. Reaper wanted to kill them all (horribly at that) but Magnaman was not that cold-blooded. He wanted to make them suffer quite a bit though, so he agreed to let Reaper bind them tightly in chains from head to toe and gag them well until they were as silent and as immobile as so many store mannequins.

But these small-fry weren’t what Magnaman was after! He wanted the secret leader of the Society of Super Heroes himself! He wanted Cricks!

Then Magnaman discovered the entrance to a secret tunnel, and he knew he had found out Crick’s secret hideout. Smashing down the door with a blow of his mighty gray fist, Magnaman told Reaper to take their five prisoners back to the secret hideout (using their secret plane of course) and stormed down the tunnel after his nemesis.

Cricks was cowering in a corner of a secret room. Magnaman was definitely going to enjoy pounding this cowering mass into a bleeding unconscious one!

Before he could reach the man however, he was suddenly sent flying into the nearest wall (smashing a huge hole in it) by a kick launched at super speed into his rather large rear end. Light Boy had arrived too late to save his other five companions (Reaper and his five prisoners were long gone by the time he had gotten out of detention) but he was in time to prevent Magnaman from berating up his boss. Maybe the boss would overlook his getting detention if he managed to defeat Magnaman, he thought to himself.

Magnaman was unhurt by the kick or the resulting crash into the wall as he picked himself up off the floor and brushed off some lingering debris from his arms and shoulders. Then he looked over at Light Boy rather sternly. “I have my own issues with you, brat! But they can wait another day. Leave now, and I won’t bother you”

“No YOU leave, Magnaguy!” commanded Light Boy.

Magnaman just stood there looking at Light boy with a small smile. Then he began to lumber forward in a threatening manner. “Absorbing the magic from the Staff of Power has removed my weakness,” Magnaman told him mildly. “You cannot tell me what to do anymore. And the name is MagnaMAN! Why can’t any of you get that right?!”

“Back off, or else!” replied a suddenly nervous Light Boy as he began to back away.

Magnaman continued to plod forward and reached out to grab Light Boy.

Light Boy launched a super speed kick at Magnaman’s stones!

And discovered that they were now as hard as rocks – or even harder!

Light Boy yelled with sudden pain and hopped on one foot as he held the other injured foot in his hands. He hopped only a few times before he fell over, writhing in pain. Oh God! It felt like his foot had been broken!

Before Magnaman could do anything to restrain the small hero, Cricks abruptly acted. A blast of toxic hot air mixed with a super-loud, meaningless noise issued forth from his mouth and blasted Magnaman – knocking him right off his feet and crashing headlong into (and through) another wall! Cricks kept up the assault and for a moment the outcome of the conflict was in doubt. But Magnaman gathered himself together and put his foot down – literally. He smashed it into the floor, and the resulting seismic wave sent Cricks toppling off his feet and knocking his head against a wall. Unlike Magnaman, the wall was tougher than Crick’s head and survived without major (or even minor) damage; Cricks on the other hand got a concussion and fell unconscious.

Magnaman turned to Light Boy just I time to see the boy regain his senses, assess the situation, and then hobble away at super speed. Even injured Light Boy was far too fast to catch up with, so Magnaman gave up on him and let him go. Instead he grabbed the unconscious Cricks, wrapped him up with some extension cords, slung him under one massive arm, and carried back out of the tunnel into the Hero Headquarters above.

Magnaman set a C4 charge on a timer and fled the scene. The Hero Headquarters was destroyed in a mighty explosion just a few minutes later.

Magnaman returned to his own secret hideout by taking leaps of a mile or more (which would have severely shaken up Cricks and made him violently ill were he still conscious) with some satisfaction. He only had Light Boy, Nuclearo, and Kyle left to deal with. What threat could those three pitiful fools be? The idea made him laugh long and loud… and the resulting echoes killed a million mosquitoes, almost a thousand birds, forty two rabbits, three deer, a moose, and a bear in the nearby woods.

Could anyone stop this evil menace?

PART 4: DARK CRICKS!!!

Once Magnaman had returned with his still unconscious prisoner and stuck him inside the glass cage with the tarantulas for a while, he decided to see what Reaper had done with the other prisoners. Magnaman was amazed by his friend’s twisted ingenuity.

Naughtynats was blindfolded and ear-muffed so that she could not see nor hear. She was locked into a stationary bicycle with no seat, and completely naked. Unless she peddled, the seat support rose up and impaled her behind; only by peddling with at moderate effort could she maintained any semblance of comfort whatsoever. But Naughtynat’s bicycle was connected to a generator that was hooked up to a strange metallic body-shaped cage that held Boundgal perfectly motionless. A number of electrodes were taped onto her skin – including her nipples and pubic area. As long as Naughtynats peddled that bicycle, power was fed into the generator and resulted in big fat sparks snapping and popping all over Boundgal and torturing her to near insanity!

The other five prisoners were duct-taped as thoroughly as mummies, with only their noses exposed to the air. Occasional sniffing and the slow rise and fall of their diaphragms were the only indications that any of these five were still breathing.

“We’re probably going to need some help helping these jerks restrained,” said Reaper.
“Especially if their friends come looking for them.”

“I already have the solution for that,” Magnaman told his ally. “Come assist me, and we will have all the help we will need.”

Reaper followed Magnaman to their arcane laboratory, where Magnaman pulled the thoroughly spider-bitten but blissfully still unconscious Cricks out of the tarantula cage. The villain carried Cricks to a strange device composed of two large tubes side by side. Each tube was large enough for a man to stand upright in, and Cricks was placed inside one and sealed in by a still puzzled Reaper as Magnaman went to a set of controls.

“This is my latest invention: the inverse duplicator,” announced Magnaman. “Before I can demonstrate though, we need to revive that fool in there. Wake him up, would you?”

Reaper walked back over to the cage, opened it, and gave Cricks the hardest gut punch he could. This seemed to have no effect, so he started to kick the unconscious man in various portions of his anatomy. This also proved ineffective in revival, but Magnaman was in no apparent hurry to suggest a more effective method as he was enjoying the spectacle of Crick’s beating almost as much as Reaper was in providing it.

Finally though Magnaman decided to get the show on the road. “Try 25 cc’s of codrazine instead, he suggested to his gleefully sadistic ally.

“Aw, can’t I try my way a little longer?” pleaded Reaper. “I owe this bastard!”

“He probably only needed 2 cc’s before you started trying to revive him.” Replied Magnaman gruffly but with a cheese-eating grin. “If you keep it up, he’s gonna need 50, and that stuff is hard to come by since Star Trek got cancelled. So just give him the cordrazine and let’s get on with this.”

Reaper did as Magnaman wished, though he gave Cricks a needlessly savage jab with the hypodermic needle as he did it. Cricks suddenly revived just as the glass door was slammed shut in his face and locked. Apparently none the worse for wear from his recent experiences, Cricks stood up and glared at his captors. He might have said something in defiance, except he was wearing a metallic gag that rendered him totally incapable of speech – or of using that horrible vocal weapon of his either.

“Now watch this,” said Magnaman with all the glee of a small child showing off a new toy to a friend as he jabbed down on a shiny red button marked “START”.

Suddenly Cricks vanished into a cloud of sparkles reminiscent of the teleporter effect from the classic version of Star Trek. Second later, an identical set of sparkles appeared in the hitherto empty tube adjacent to his. Both eventually solidified into identical images of Cricks. The first one collapsed; apparently unconscious. The second one looked at Magnaman and Reaper with a strangely savage glint in his eye.

“Open the second cage and release its occupant,” Magnaman bid Reaper. Somewhat puzzled, Reaper did as he was told.

The second Cricks walked calmly over to Magnaman, who removed his gag.

“Who are you?” Magnaman asked the duplicate of Cricks.

“I am Dark Cricks!” replied the duplicate.

“What are you?” asked Magnaman.

“I am your evil servant. I live to obey your every command!” replied Dark Cricks as mildly as if discussing the weather.

“And what will you do to Nuclearo and Light Boy and the others when you see them?” Magnaman wanted to know.

An evil gleam lighted the evil Dark Cricks’s eyes. “I will destroy them!” he said simply, and then he smiled with the evilest smile imaginable.

“Go forth then my minion,” Magnaman bid Dark Cricks. “Find the other heroes and kill them all in the most horrible ways imaginable. Then return to me for further orders.”

“Yes Master,” replied Dark Cricks, and off he went.

Magnaman began to laugh, but desisted at once when Reaper’s ears started to bleed.

Reaper, just because Magnaman treats your character like a dim witted fool of a minion and just because Reaper plays along with this doesn 't mean Reaper IS one!
I promise that Reaper wuil come out in a much different (i hesitatre to say positive because he IS a villain) light before this story is over.

PART 5: THE REMAINING HEROES GATHER

Lightboy felt like his foot had grown twice its normal size, been crushed by a steam-roller and been tickled with a blowtorch, but he did not stop to rest for a moment until he had found at least one of his friends and alerted him to the Magnaman situation.

The first person he found was Kyle, for he’d known his healer friend would be at the library at this time; besides, the library was not only the closest hangout of any of his fellow heroes but also Kyle was definitely the person he most needed to see right now. Hobbling into the library but still moving faster than the speed of sound, Light Boy almost crashed into Kyle’s computer terminal when he stopped more suddenly than his injured foot could handle.

Seeing that Light Boy was in distress, Kyle used his super power of healing all injuries to repair Light Boy’s damaged foot. Light Boy’s injury was completely healed before even the fast-talking youth was able to gasp out more than the first few words of his hastily told story. Kyle agreed to meet Lightboy at the emergency rendezvous location and call in the other heroes based in Japan while Light Boy alerted Nuclearo the Nuclear Man.

His speed fully restored, Light Boy ran to the Nuclear Power Facility in less than half a second (reaching the library had taken three whole minutes running at a relatively paltry Mach Six) and took only another quarter of a second to find his fellow hero, Nuclearo. The hero with the power to absorb and emit radiation was extremely upset when he heard about the capture (and probable torture) of his beloved Boundgal, and was determined to do whatever he could to free her from the evil Magnaman’s clutches. Uncomfortable at seeing Nuclearo in distress (and his dress), Lightboy hastily ran off to await the others at the emergency rendezvous.

They were soon gathered together:

Light Boy - able to move at the speed of light

Ninjaboy – the master of all known (and some unknown) forms of martials arts.

Spiderlad – can do anything a spider ever had

Anjell – able to form an astral body resembling an angel’s with many mystical powers -including flight, invisibility, walking through walls, and wreaking havoc on the sinful

Angel Two (aka The Halo Guy) – Master Escape Artist and Superhuman Athlete who uses an array of trick weapons resembling giant rings (or haloes).

Nuclearo the Nuclear Man – the answer to all our toxic waste problems, with the power to absorb radiation at re-emit it at will as a powerful weapon.

Kyle (the Doctor) – can cure all injuries and many illnesses with a mere touch, and can diagnose all maladies with a mere look with his ultra-vision.

And… Cricks!?

Everyone was astonished when Cricks entered the room, apparently free and unharmed. And for a precious moment they let their guard down as they surrounded him to congratulate him in somehow escaping Magnaman. But it was really Dark Cricks they faced, and all he needed was another split second to gather his energies together and destroy all the remaining heroes in one surprise move!

Bur before that evil duplicate could make his move; a beam of destruction lanced out from seeming nowhere and destroyed him on the spot! The noise of the blast was deafening, and the other heroes were momentarily stunned. They were even more stunned when they recovered a moment later and saw who had destroyed the impostor.

It was… Cricks!

“Now I’m really confused,” put in a rather slack-jawed Lightboy. “Who are you?”

“I am the real Cricks,” answered that worthy. “The person you saw being captured by Magnaman was merely an android copy of me; the fourth of ten I made to oversee our operations throughout the world. So whereas I am the original, I guess we could call the duplicate Cricks who stood in for me, Cricks5. Anyway, it will not be long before Magnaman realizes that his plan to destroy the rest of us has failed. We must counter-attack with everything we’ve got while we have the element of surprise.”

“But how?” asked Nuclearo. “Magnaman may be a cold blooded bastard, but he’s no fool and he can really kick butt! And Reaper is pretty formidable all by himself! Besides, we don’t know where to find them!”

“There is a way,” replied Cricks. “There is a mystical dimension where lives a being of great power. I can open a doorway to that dimension large enough for one person to go through. That person must go through that doorway, travel past many dangers, find that being, ask him how to defeat Magnaman, and return to us before that doorway closes. I can keep the doorway open for no more than ten minutes.”

“Ten minutes?!” exclaimed Kyle. “Who the Hell can do all that in ten minutes?”

Then he paused as understanding lit his face. The same understanding hit everyone present at the same time except for one person. All the others looked at that one silently.

“Why’s everyone looking at me like that?” asked a suddenly nervous Lightboy, who surreptitiously checked to make sure his fly was zipped up.

I'm ready now. Thjanks for the encouragement. There should be about three more chapters after this one; one each night if I'm lucky.

PART 6: MAGNAMAN STRIKES AGAIN

“Dark Cricks failed!” Magnaman growled angrily as Reaper returned from the mission he was sent on. “I hope you found what I was looking for at Boundgal’s place.”

“I didn’t find the secret files about the heroes that you sent me to look for, no,” replied Reaper. “But I found something pretty interesting all the same. Get of load of this!”

Magnaman suddenly noticed that Reaper was holding the end of a rather lengthy and ponderous chain in one meaty fist. The chain dragged down and out beyond the doorway that Reaper had just stepped in through. The villain gave the chain a mighty tug to pull it in, and in came a rather large balding man in glasses who was wrapped from head to toe in the thick chain. He was gagged and gave a rather pathetic whimper as he fell forward on his face.

“Who the Hell is that?” Magnaman asked Reaper, barely sparing the prisoner a glance.

“I don’t know, but he was lying around in Boundgal’s apartment when I raided the place,” reported Reaper. “Since I couldn’t find those files, I figured he might know something valuable.”

“Could be,” conceded Magnaman. “If not, maybe we can threaten to torture him in front of Boundgal to extort the information we need out of her. Bring her here while I make our guest less comfortable!”

When Boundgal was brought in, handcuffed and wearing a maid’s outfit again, the man Reaper had brought in was hanging by his wrists from a set of manacles dangling from a pipe that stretched just under the ceiling. Other than his gag, all he wore was a set of boxer shorts. Magnaman held a whip, and posed dramatically behind the man’s back as he faced Boundgal.

“Tell me the information I want, or I torture your boyfriend here,” he told Boundgal.

Boundgal looked at the two with blank-eyed astonishment. “Boyfriend? HIM?!? That’s not my boyfriend! That’s Jason! He’s just some guy Nuc and I met in the States and kidna – uhh – I mean, befriended and brought home with us.”

“Whatever! Tell me what I want to know or gets a whipping!” snarled Magnaman.

To Magnaman and Reaper’s astonishment, this dire threat elicited nothing but incessant laughter from Boundgal. It took her several minutes before she could control her laughter enough to be coherent. “You (haha) you want to (hahaha) torture him? (hahaha) Go ahead! (hahahaha) You’ll make his day! (hahaha) Nuc and I made him our slave! (hahahaha) But he loves every minute of it! hahahahahahahaha)” At this point Boundgal was doubled over on the floor and laughing as hard and as hysterically as if ostrich feathers were tickling her on every single part of her body. She was even banging her bound fists on the floor, as if Magnaman had said the funniest thing in the world. If she kept it up, she’d be laughing herself sick!

Magnaman turned to Reaper. "What was this guy doing when you found him in her apartment?"

"Nothing," replied Reaper. "He was sitting in the closet. He was already wrapped up in these chains when I found him!"

Magnaman looked at Boundgal, then up at the hanging prisoner, who was looking back down at the whip in his hand in an obviously hopeful manner. Magnaman dropped the whip in sheer disgust and stomped out, biding Reaper to toss both prisoners into the dungeon.

Magnaman decided to check out the position Dark Cricks had reported reaching just before his destruction, and with He-ra and Overdog along for backup flew the Magna-plane to the heroes’ emergency rendezvous. At this same time, the situation was being patiently explained to a rather bewildered Lightboy.

“But why can’t the rest of you come into the other dimension with me?” he asked, practically wailing with anxiety. “That sounds like a really spooky place!”

“We’d be like snails escorting a race horse, LB,” explained Cricks patiently. “The being you must reach dwells thousands of miles beyond extremely perilous territory, Only you and you alone cam make it to him in time to get the answers we seek and return before the doorway closes shut again and traps you there forever.”

“Cl-closes shut?” stammered Light Boy as he quaked noticeably in his boots. “Tra-traps me forever! But what if I don’t want to go?!”

“We got company!” Spiderlad announced abruptly. “Magnaman’s plane just rolled in.”

“If you don’t go, either we all die or become Magnaman’s prisoners!” Cricks told him.

“And remember what he did to you when he tried to force you to become his sidekick?” Nuclearo reminded the boy. “He shaved off your pub-“

“All right, already!” interrupted Light Boy as his face flushed deep red in sudden embarrassment. “I remember! All right, I’ll go! Anything is better than that big creep trying to make him evil like him. Open this thing up and let’s get it over with!”

Cricks started up the Dimensional Doorway, and a circular portal appeared in the air directly in front of Light Boy. Swallowing his fear, the plucky young hero dashed through the portal just as Magnaman, Hera and Overdog smashed through the front entrance of their emergency headquarters to vanquish the rest of the heroes. Cricks and the other brave heroes prepared to make a last stand – determined to buy enough time for Light Boy to complete his urgent mission and return safely back to them.

Light Boy entered an utterly weird and alien landscape full of hidden dangers. However, his super speed was more than adequate protection as he ran thousands of miles in less than a minute, to find the dwelling place of the mysterious being that he was sent to find. Following the detailed instructions Cricks had given him, Light Boy reached a strangely glowing edifice. The occupant of this place sat within a majestic throne set at the top of a flight of stairs, and looked down upon Lightboy with a sardonic smile.

“Welcome, Lightboy! I’ve been expecting you! We meet again!” said the entity.

It was Zerocurew!!!

Ummm... why are you saying that like this development was YOUR idea? :quirk:
I am writing my story to be compatible with your 'sequel' as written so far, Cricks. Hopefully you'll like the outcome. Thing is, you don't know what it is yet.
THEN you'll probably need a backup plan to keep your story compatible with mine. :big:
New chapter tonight! Probably about 12 hours after I post this.
