Alone in the café

As she usually did, Anne sat alone at her favourite table, in her favourite café. Suddenly, a man came walking towards her, holding a cup of coffee. “Would you mind, if I at sat down here?” he asked, kind of sheepishly.
She was about to reply “Yes, I would!” when she looked up and into the eyes of Anders, her sweetheart from when she went to grade school, so many years ago.
The only thing was, he never knew she had a serious crush on him, because she had kept that a closely guarded secret, only known to her and her closest confidante, her diary, and maybe one or two of her friends, who had been sworn to secrecy, for the rest of their lives. At least, she hoped she never gave anything away. She would have been so embarrassed she would have died, if she thought she’d had given anything away.
She had one other secret, this one only known to her diary. From an early age, she had always liked the feeling of being tied up! She had tried to tie herself up, or made her brothers do it, as often as possible.
She quickly changed her answer to: “No, please do!”

He sat down, and they started chatting, about what they had been doing since they went to school together. It was summer, but he was wearing a pin-striped business-suit, looking very professional. She, on the other hand, was wearing a white short-sleeved summer-dress, covering her legs completely. Soon they were waist-deep in memories, exchanging a lot of “I wonder what happened to?”, “Do you remember the time when..”, to and fro, their laughter echoing through the room.

Suddenly, out of the blue, he asked her if she wanted to come over to his place. She was dumbfounded, but eventually managed to say she would love too. They paid their bills, went out to his car and drove off.
When they got there, he said he would like to give her a tour of his house. He stopped in front of a cupboard in the hall, turned to her and said: “I don’t want you to see, what’s in here, so turn away please!” Puzzled, she did as he asked. She could hear him open the door, and at the same time he once again said:”No peeking, now!” he grabbed her hands, holding them tightly behind her back. There was a ‘ratch’ing sound, and she could feel her wrists being encircled by a pair of handcuffs. “What are you doing?”she started asking, when he silenced her by shoving a ball in her mouth, buckling it in place behind her head. He stepped in front of her with a broad grin on his face. “You like that, don’t you?” he asked. She so desperately wanted to shake her head ’no’, but instead she could only look down at her feet, and nod. He placed a finger under her chin and gently forced her head up. With an almost shy smile, he said: “I see they were right about you like being imprisoned.” He dangled another pair of cuffs in front of her eyes. These were bigger and clearly meant for her ankles, as they had a fairly long chain between them.
“Do you want me to put these on too?” he asked. Once again, she nodded, this time with gleaming eyes. He bent down and put them on, before taking her on a tour of the house, ending up back in the hall. There had been a couple of awkward moments, when he had to support her, so she wouldn’t fall down the stairs. But, all in all, they had both enjoyed themselves while it lasted.

To cut a long story short, a week later, she moved in with him, and he continued putting her in cuffs, whenever she wanted. He never told her how he knew of her secret, though, not even after having been married to her for several years.

As soon as Anne opened her eyes, she knew it was a special day. She and Andy (as she called her husband Anders) had been married exactly one year! She jumped out of bed and hurried, as fast as her shackled feet would allow, into the living-room. A box stood on the table with her name, written all over it. She went and, with her cuffed-together hands, picked it up. When she opened it, she found a note saying “Happy anniversary. Lots of love. Andy”.
Inside was a new pair of hand-cuffs, ankle-cuffs, and collar, all of which were connected with a long piece of chain. The cuffs and the collar were made of heavy-duty steel, and almost completely encrusted with gemstones. Fake ones, she noticed, but still, it was the thought that counted, wasn’t it?
In the front of the collar was a D-shaped ring. She put the collar on, without locking it, and noticed it fit her neck perfectly, covering it from just below her ears, to just above her collarbones. It was shaped in such a way, that when wearing it, she would hardly be able to move her head, more than a fraction left or right, up or down. One more look revealed her name, spelled out in different coloured gems, on all the cuffs.

Suddenly she heard a voice behind her. She had been so busy opening, and admiring, her present she hadn’t noticed Andy entering the room. “So, do you like your present?” he asked, with a sweet smile in his voice and face. “I sure do!” Anne beamed. “Could you please take these cuffs off, so I can try the new ones on?”
“Mmm I will, in a minute. But first, there is one other present I’d like you to open.” From behind his back, he brought forth another box, this one rectangular, resembling a flower-box. Inside was indeed a big bunch of flowers, but also an equally heavy-duty, gem-stone encrusted, steel-belt, with D-rings back and front, as well as on the sides, also with her name on it. Below everything was a ball-gag. The ball itself was plain, with only a hole, running through it for easier breathing and drinking, but on the straps were inlayed gems in a row. When she saw it, she almost burst into tears.
“I just about the happiest woman on earth, right now.” she said. He went over to and put his arms around her.
“Let’s try them on, shall we?” he said after having kissed her, long and thoroughly. With eyes, still welling up with tears, she handed them over to him. He took the cuffs she had been wearing off, and gently put the new ones on, then connecting them with the chain. They, of course, were a perfect fit. She noticed all of them were lined with a soft fabric and had fur-edges, so they wouldn’t chafe. “That’s how thoughtful he is!” she thought. The cuffs on her feet were so heavy she had to shuffle along until she could see herself in the mirror.
She gasped at the sight. Not only were the cuffs, the collar and the belt a perfect fit. The colours of the gems contrasted beautifully with her fair hair and blue eyes. She turned around, but as she couldn’t give Andy a hug, due to the chain her hand-cuffs were attached to, so instead she gave him a kiss of gratitude.

That evening, Anne changed into a tight, black cat-suit, complete with ears, nose and whiskers, before going over to some friends for a fancy-dress party. Andy connected a chain to her collar, to use as a lead. It took quite a while for her to get to the car, as the chain between her ankle-cuffs was short, but eventually, they got in the car and went.
When they got there, Anne stirred up quite an interest, in the cuffs and chain. “I think we might, accidentally, have started a new fashion!” Andy whispered delighted in Anne’s ear. “Mmm, I think we just might have!” she whispered back, before he placed the gag in her mouth, buckling it tightly behind her neck. From that moment on, they were under more or less a constant bombardment of questions, about everything and anything to do with her outfit. Most of them, she could answer by moving her head as much as she could, but some of the trickier ones, Andy had to answer for her.

When they eventually got home, very late at night, Andy took the cuffs and collar off, so she could change into her night clothes. Before going to bed, she asked to be put back in cuffs, and Andy put her old, plain cuffs back on, before tucking her in for the night. “Good night!” he said, before going over to his own bed. “Miao!” she, jokingly, answered.
It took quite a while, before she had calmed down enough, to drift off to sleep.
