FAKE!!!! (A must read for everyone who post's true storys)

Postby justin_credible » Sat Nov 12, 2011 1:33 pm

where are all the story's that are completely "TRUE" it seems that EVERY true story ive read on the true tugs segments seem as though the author(s) feel the need to Over Exaggerate there material to make it sound more intresting. where is an actual story? with actual accounts? That is in fact "TRUE" im picking on ALOT of people on here! ive even had numberous people ive talk to admit there story's were far fetch. All im asking for is an actual story, with real accounts, word for word moment by moment!

i apologize if i sound rude, but hey, if you wanna make up 80% of a story go to the "fictional" tug stories!

I don't mind...or actually i don't care. As long as the storied are a good read i don't mind what's real and whats exaggerated

Other than for the fact that "Justin Credible" seems to have adopted the name just for the sake of registering his complaint, I can agree with all three posters.
1) Yes, a lot of "true" stories obviouly aren't
2) Why can't they be posted in the "Fictional . . ." section
3) Ultimately, does it matter?

And:
I'm supposed to be the "PIcky Old Fart" round here so why choose a user name just to pick a fight?
Seriously, I think there could have been a less aggressive way of making the original point, with which I actually agree. Just like Chris, I choose to suspend belief. I would, however, join with Justin in asking people to confine their fictional stories to the apropriate area of the site.

ok i didnt pick this name or register into tugs just to "complain" it was a simple observation, and i spoke on it. i am simply saying that all i want is to read i real story. nothing more. if some of you dont agree then that's fine, to each is own.

i agree with chris that it doesn't really matter, but also, when I read some of these I say to myself,"This can't be true."

But some are, and most stories need a little pizas, and no offense. But alot of people write more than 85% truth, and it doesn't matter to me, nor should it to another person, unless it is more than 50% a lie.

Truer than you know. But, let's face it, any true story is always better for a litttle emboidery.

As a folklorist, the best story-tellers always have a certain "style" that one has to take with a pinch of salt. But it is a priviledge to listen to the "old boys" and revel in their delight in their triumphs and laugh at their admitted defeats. Now these guys (& Guyesses!) are genuine story-tellers. One of my best informants could only write in capital letters (He also saw my collaborator and me off on first contact thinking we wre Jehova's Witneses. Returning with the wife produced a different outcome.) I don't ask if their accounts are 100% accurate, but I regret the loss of the aural transmission of stories. I regret it not because the stories are traditional, they are usually not.

The presentation of the narrator as hero/victim is what matters. The style of his/her naration is what draws one in (or repells one). The truth of the story is totally irrelevant!

(And in the cae of the wonderful Ernie, probably libelous and personally incriminating.)

I think the readership are well aware that the ability to post in the true section does not magically mean the poster will actually tell a true story. But there is a moral responsibility to do so.
I have posted stories in the true section and my views on this are clear. They are also known to my readers. It is not possible for my stories to be 100% true because I do not believe in posting the real names of the people involved, especially since they don't know the stories are being posted. In some cases I can't remember the full details, but these are the only two things which affect the "truth percentage", as it were. I hope those parameters are acceptable to justin_credible and the readership at large. In any case, I think once the reader starts following a particular writer, they know what they're getting.

I remember a blaringly obvious fake story claiming that as punishment, the mother threw out all his close and bought him women's cloths and every day for two years he was tied up after school.

They have to make it interesting otherwise all the stories would look like this....

One day I was really bored and saw my sister sitting on her bed watching TV. I like playing tugs so I figured this would be a good time to tie her up. I walked by the doorway a few times wondering how to ask her, kinda nervous... eventually I crept up enough guts and went in with a roll of tape in my hand. She looked at me and the tape...
"what are you doing?" she asked
"Wanna play a game?" I replied
"What game?" she asked
"I tie you to a chair and you get out in less than 10 mins?" i told her and she agreed to it after very little thought.

I brung in a chair from the computer area and told her to sit in it. She was wearing a green tank with flowers on it, black caprice and was bare foot. I dont like feet so I told her to put on some flats and she did.

I crossed her wrists behind the chair and taped them together with electrical tape going around many times. I then crossed her ankles and taped them together as well and secured them to the stand underneath the chair. I looked at her to see what else was needed. I taped around her midsection to the chair and taped her thighs and just below her knees together as well. She was pretty well taped up and all I had to do was finish it with a gag. I brought out white duck tape and taped her mouth shut 3 times and she was pretty willing for anything. I even joked about stuffing a sock in her mouth and she obediently opened wide but Im nice so I didnt. I taped over her eyes with masking tape and let her go at it.

She struggled and mphhhed but couldnt get out. After 10 mins was up I took the tape off her mouth and made her say "I cant get out!" and "please let me out!" before I cut her free.

The end.

See its like plain jane and boring. Stories need some spice.

Also, some people do act out their fantasies so you have to keep in mind, it may seem far fetched to you, but some people may have enjoyed it and it was true.

Agreeing with what TUfriend says. Also agreeing with Matty there because if you care, contact the writer and ask for the truth. Telling others will make no difference, unless the reason is REALLY important. (if you didn't catch it, I meant that this isn't do much.)
I don't care what you think of me. It only matters what I care for. So back off.

Some (or most) of these stories have exaggeration- its natural as a human being to "over-tell" a story with some flair. Me, i dont care to much for flair in my true stories, as a matter of fact most of my true stories happen much the same way- no exciting near being caught by parents scene or being left for hours or finding a cool group of kids who kidnap me randomly- just plain jane- challenges.
I do enjoy reading both sections- i prefer trueTUGs because they seem more real- even if they may not be. But i understand where your going, point taken.

Hallo, for me it not matter if real story true or fake. I can`t prove it. The only differences is by real story I wish I would part of story and have perhaps the dream to meet the author for game like story. By fake I wish the story would real to me. But I know that is nearly impossible that both cases happened.

I stopped doing true stories after I had my first id banned here last fall and had to create this one. But I will say I never once made up anything in my True Tugs stories. Back then there was no need to.

However I prefer fiction bigtime because my imagination demands it of me and I love doing it too. Sure some of my stories have been deemed inappropiate for teenage readers to read but I write for myself and not for my readers. If you do not like what I write you have no obligation to read it at all. That is simply how it is done in my honest opinion of things.

My true stories are true in that they actually happened, but I admit that I embellish and embroider for dramatic effect. However, I don’t make anything up (except for being laissez-faire with the dialogue). Instead I tend to compress, conflate, expand and inflate events.
My signature says it best, but I am also reminded of an Aldous Huxley line (albeit about quality, not veracity):
“A bad book is as much a labour to write as a good one; it comes as sincerely from the author’s soul.”
Words, like Nature, half reveal and half conceal the soul within.

Why even have separate categories for True TUG stories and Fictional TUG stories if no one cares if they are true (which I'd wager 95%+ are not)?

What is the big noise now? And why is this labeled a "Must read"?

Not everything reported on the net is truth. WOW BIG SURPRISE, REALLY.
What should happen? Should we have a comitee of users who decide what story is true and which not?
I agree many things claimed true here most likely are not. But hey...so what?
On the other hand...I really bet I could tell events of my past (I've been doing this Bondage stuff for over a decade now) which most people here would consider fake. Sometimes reality is uneblievable if you haven't witnessed it.

To me, the important thing in a "true story" here is that it sounds like it *might* really have happened. As long as this is met, it has zero importance to me if it *actually* has happened.
