If you know what you want, go for it. You might get some interesting suggestions from the board, but no one knows better what you want, than you. You get your idea, then "flesh it out" in your mind, and then transcribe your thoughts on to paper or computer.
Of course, you have to fight through "writer's block," and interruptions from friends, family, and phone, but stay with it. Some of us may think the finished product is total trash, but others may think it deserves a Pulitzer Prize. Remember: "You can't please every one, so you got to please yourself."
