Blunt Force Trauma?

Postby snobound » Fri Jan 28, 2011 3:04 pm

I'm not one for conspiracy theories..... but..... Remember all those black birds that died in Ankansas on New Year's? Like 5000 over an area of approximately one square mile. Remember the "experts'" theory that the deaths were caused by fireworks? WRONG!!! Tests have been conducted, and the conclusion is that these birds died of blunt force trauma. What did they hit? A giant tennis racket in the sky? This is creepy. Read the article.

What do you think killed these birds.... simultaneously? I have a meteorology background.... had hail killed these birds there would have been an accumulation. Large hail storms don't go unnoticed by locals. This is indeed strange, and I can't wrap my head around it.

I need to read this.....

XTC brings attention to the fact that some have suggested the idea that shenanigans from outside the solar system may have been responsible. A cloaked Klingon Bird of Prey parked over Arkansas, contemplating whether or not to fire their disruptors at the economic oligarchs in Bentonville? Hmmm. What do ya think... birds flying into a big ole UFO?

Here's what happened

The birds flew into a fireworks show at approximately 2000 per square kilometer

They got surprised at all of the bright lights and deafening noises

They got confused and lost their bearings, they all started flying in odd directions, and eventually hitting the ground and trees. I know an ornathologist, and she happens to agree with me on this one.

I don't know.... I just don't buy it. This is a very rural area. There were no professional, large scale fireworks shows going on... just drunk yokels with your average consumer fireworks. It just doesn't seem plausable to me. Possible, but not likely.

LOL... Most poeple wouldn't bother to do the research.

I was surprised to learn that the "Midwich Cuckoos" was the basis for "Village of the Damned".... pretty cool. Would like to get my hands on the original.

When the birds hit the rocks or ground, the impact shattered their body parts, killing them. That is Blunt Force Trauma.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

Yes, there were professional grade fireworks going on, any news network and website says so

I live in Rhode Island. We don't have huge clouds of blackbirds here, but boy do we have seagulls along the coast. And we have lots of fireworks displays around 4th of July in all our coastal cities and towns, and I have never heard a report of a seagull being killed by an aerial bomb. Maybe the gulls are smarter than blackbirds? No way.

Those gulls on Misquamicut are nasty S.O.B.s too.... Not only have I been crapped on by one, but I've had an onion ring ripped right from my grasp! Ballsy things! They live on a steady diet of human detritus.

Smarter than blackbirds? Maybe, but I doubt it. Tough creatures, though...
