For those that don't know Net Neutrality is the principle that everything posted on the internet is equal. So far all information is going through the same ''lane'' or ''pipe'' and is thus delivered at the same speed. Some corporation's are trying to do away with that and divide information in two lanes. A regular lane for normal information and a ''speed lane'' for those willing to pay extra. Its very likely however that its not going to be a speed lane for those willing to pay extra but a normal one and that information from every other site will be on a ''slow'' lane. So in essence we got plans to slow the internet down and charge us for the speed we had before they killed net neutrality. It also gives those people the power to slow down every site they don't like....not that they would ever hinder the competition like that.
These guys explain it much better then me
