Chapter 1 -- A Robbery Gone Wrong
It was just a usual Friday evening, as Amy and Nicole O'Hara were about to close up O'Hara's Hardware store. The O'Hara sisters both co-owned the store, along with their mother, Lisa.
"I'll lock up the back if you get the front." Amy told her younger sister. Amy had her red hair pulled back into a bun. She wore a white long-sleeved blouse. Like her sister and mother, Nicole had many Irish traits about her. Her great-grandfather had been from Ireland. She too had inherited the red hair, as well as the slim figure of her sister. She wore a pink, short-sleeved blouse. Just as Nicole was about to lock the front door, her mom came in. Although lacking the red hair of her daughters, Lisa, a brunette, still had Irish traits about her. Despite co-owning the shop, Lisa usually worked at home, doing paperwork and jobs of the like.
"Hi honey. I'm gonna be upstairs for a while. Ok? I close up the front for you." Lisa said.
"Thanks, mom." Nicole replied.
Lisa soon had taken the stairs to the store's storage area.
After a few minutes, the girls began to prepare for home, when suddenly the front door opened. Walking towards them with guns in their hands were two fairly large women wearing ski masks.
"No one make a noise!" From her voice the sisters could tell she was of African-American descent. "Hands in the air!" Both girls obeyed. They saw the two women drop their bags, which they now noticed they were carrying, to the ground. Soon rope was fished out, and the robbers soon had Amy and Nicole sitting on chairs, and their hands were being tied behind their backs. Two large red ball gags were soon inserted into their mouths, and scarves were tied over their eyes as a blindfold. Their ankles were then tied to the legs of the chair. The two girls sat struggling, mmmphing into their gags in displeasure.
"Is there anybody else here?" asked the other robber.
"I'm right here." said Lisa, pointing her own gun at the two women. During the tying process, they had both laid their guns down and were unarmed. "Hands in the air!" Lisa commanded. The two women had no choice to obey, and Lisa ran over and scooped up their weapons. "Untie those two! We have to talk!
