I once dislocated my thumb during a TUG with my fiance .

I was lying face down on the floor with my hands tied behind my back and he tried to roll me over so that I was facing him. Unfortunately, at the time I was struggling and I was pulling on the ropes around my wrists - my thumb was at such an angle that as he rolled me over, it got crushed underneath me and popped out of it's joint. Luckily, at the time I hadn't been gagged, so I was able to tell him and it was sorted out pretty quickly xD

What story did you tell at hospital to explain the injury?

Maybe blindfold, maybe gagged, always barefoot

I said I'd done it playing volleyball - because I actually dislocated my thumb doing that when I was 15 so I know that it's a viable story, haha xD

I was left sitting on a tree branch in a tree handcuffed with my hands around the branch and when I got one hand free I lost balance slid off the branch the cuff hooked on the branch and my full body weight hung on my right wrist with a jerk and a twist. It didn't break my arm but I think it explains the arm and shoulder pains I've been having now thirty some years later. Also, at the time of the incident, I couldn't get tied up for three weeks waiting to heal. My wrist was black and blue and swelled some at the time. No doctor ever checked it.

Nothing worse than some moderate (and quickly remedied) circulation loss. However, I was tied numerous times in my adolescence and in the past few years (over 35 years later) have noticed some minor nerve damage in my wrists and akles which are probably the result of all those long duration tight tie ups.

I think the emotional damage resulted when officials of state deemed my preoccupation with tugs as something low and filthy and drugged me with anti-depressants and shock therapy treatments 21 times then kept me locked up most of my adolescence in their psych wards because I wouldn't talk to them about tugs or why I liked them so much...And then there was the injections and strapped down bits to my bed for 8-12 hours ..Can you imagine the trip being doped and tied up at the same time trying to stay focused and get loose? Then there was the time they got me all strung out overdosed on the drugs they gave me so they tied me down with my watch on and the pain was so intense it brought me out of the effects of the drugs long enough to get staffs attention to tell them about it then I lost consciousness again. It was after six tries I finally got them to check me and see the dried blood on my arm. Then I went out again. When I woke the 7th time my watch was removed and my arm bandaged but they kept me tied down. Real Psychiatric professionals them folks........achem-achem

Minor cases of temporay circulation loss, cuts, bruises, ego, rope burn, tape residue, plasters from unrelated injurys coming off, one nosebleed and ego during self bondage but all were solved quickly (well, except the ego thing) and a slightly more severe (but still not reuiring attention) case of bruising and ego occured one time when I was in a hotel room and had secured my feet by tying my shoes together and my wrists by looping two watches together (it worked better than is sounded) and I was strugling standing up and when I went to fall on the bed to untie myself more easily I hit the side and rolled onto the floor. It hurt, but I was fine.

There are few things more dangerous than a wounded ego.

In A&E some cover stories for injuries are called "a Hasselhoff" http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/releases/92691.php
