2 Days, 200 Miles, and 2 New TUG Buddies!

Postby CuriosiTied » Tue Mar 02, 2010 2:26 am

12/21/09 12:59 AM: “hi... you don't know me but i found your AIM on the tug forum, wanted to say hello :) ”

So started a nearly five-hour long conversation, and a TUG-buddy relationship that hopefully has much in store for the future!

But I’m getting ahead of myself.

It all began last fall, when I came across this forum. Well, that’s not true. I’ve been interested in tie up games since my cousin tied me to a tree with a jumprope when I was eight! But I thought I was weird for wanting to be tied up, and I didn’t even know what to search for to find out more (searching “bondage” got... different results, and that’s not really my thing). One day I found this site, and was a lurker for quite a while before I decided to get an account. Boy am I glad I did...

I’d browsed around the TUG buddies forum a bit, looking for people in my area. I added the screennames of two guys I found to my AIM buddy list. One of them was online. I took a deep breath, and sent a greeting, not knowing what to expect. Five hours later, it was pretty clear that things were going well! He and I had a non-stop conversation about everything from TUGs, to the History Channel (he couldn’t believe I watched the same “geeky” shows he loved!) I was grinning from ear to ear and couldn’t type fast enough, despite the late hour. The next day the conversation shifted to our mutual love of bowling... which, naturally, led to the making of a bet. He’d bet on tie-ups over bowling before, and I was pretty confident in my bowling skills (I bowl better than most of my guy friends), so I eagerly took up the challenge. Three out of five would get control of the first tie up, whenever we’d eventually meet. We lived over 200 miles apart, so it wasn’t likely to be soon. But boy oh boy did we have things to look forward to!

Once upon a time…last December, I was sitting at my computer as I normally am late into the night. Then, outa nowhere, I receive a message on my instant messenger. Now, I don’t usually get many messages out of the blue so this was a bit of a surprise. Apparently I had just met someone else into tie up games! Well, before long, we were talking it up and having a great conversation. As I got to know Sarah, I soon realized that this wasn’t just your typical tie up enthusiast! If I had just met her in any other way, I would be able to say I found quite a cool new friend. However, it was even better! Someone who was into tie ups that wasn’t as dull as a doornail! To top it all off, she lived just a few hours away from me! What a message to receive!
We got to talking, shared our interests, and it became quite apparent to me that I really had a chance at my first tie up buddy! Apparently we were both quite softcore about it; in fact, she had never even been tied up outside of a childhood experience! I was loving it! It had been years of looking for a tie up buddy so while I was excited, I had my doubts… even if things looked so great. Soon after, we got to talking about meeting up. This was a seemingly crazy idea. While I had talked to people in the past about meeting up, it was never this soon after talking. So we made our plan, President Day weekend! Barely more than a month after our first conversation, would I have a tie up buddy finally? I doubted it...

We picked a date to meet: President’s Day weekend. We’re both students, so the extra day off would help a lot, plus his parents were planning to go out of town. I couldn’t wait to finally know what it felt like to be tied up (and not with a jumprope). Part of me questioned what I was doing, especially because I’d never met him before, but my curiosity got the best of me - and though I hadn’t met him in person, it almost felt like I’d known him for ages, we got along so effortlessly.

Unfortunately, I still live with my parents so we were hoping to get my parents out of the house first of all. If not, we’d have to create a back story about why she was in town and how I knew her and all that good stuff. With that in mind, we just waited it out. Apparently, we were both bowling lovers so it was decided; first thing was we’d go bowling and play a few frames and the winner of 3 out of 5 games would decide whether or not they wanted to be tied up first or tie up the loser. It was looking to be an incredible experience waiting for us. As time passed, I became more and more excited. I was still out on winter break so it occupied my mind most of the time. However, once class started, time passed faster and other things preoccupied, but I was still excited! As the day approached, Sarah finally helped put some reality into the situation. Instead of meeting at my place, we would meet at the bowling alley. This brought a sense of relief to me because things almost felt surreal! Knowing she was taking precautions seemed to put me at ease for whatever reason. So the time passed. It seemed as if we were going to have the house to ourselves! But just days out, it turned out my parents wouldn’t be leaving the house and we were going to have to work around them. Thankfully it’s a 2 story house!

At long, long last the weekend arrived. Saturday morning I got up early and hit the road! The most surprising thing was how calm I was. I’d lied to my roommate about where I was going, saying I was meeting up with high school friends at another college like I did every year. I’d lied to my high school friend who attended my college, and said I wasn’t going anywhere. Lastly, I was about to drive 200 miles one way, to a city I’d never been, all by myself. I waited for the nerves to set in but they never did. Once I got on the freeway and turned up my music, I was good to go!

The weekend finally came. She was arriving on Saturday afternoon. I woke up in the morning still not feeling all that anxious. I was amazed, I thought I’d be going crazy! Soon after, my sister came over, which was not a good sign. I knew my parents would be leaving at around 5pm and it was only 1pm. It looked as if Sarah was going to come into town around 3pm. By 1pm, I was hungry, though. I also needed my bowling ball which was at my university! So I made a special trip to get it and also to pick up food for everyone. By the time I left the house and was getting all the food, it was nearing 1:30. I was frantically driving around and eating because it looked as if she was going to be in town by 2:30. In the end, I cut it close, but around 2:45 I made it to the bowling alley. At this point, I finally started getting a little nervous. I’m actually meeting a complete stranger for tie up games after knowing them for just a month?? Was I crazy? Oh well! You gotta take chances in life…

One looong drive later, we met up at the bowling alley. Bowling was familiar, safe, and more importantly it was what our bet hinged on! We took advantage of a two-hour special to bowl five games. And I lost. Every game. I won’t bore you with the details, but it was pretty humiliating at first - and when I don’t bowl up to my potential, it bothers me. A lot. After the third game, it was clear I’d lost, but we bowled two more just for fun. Now that the pressure was off, I started doing really well! The final game I got my all-time high score (168), so all was not lost! Well, the bet was. The bet was most definitely lost...

I walked into the bowling alley and there she was, off in a corner. We walked up to each other and greeted each other and we were off. It felt good that I wasn’t nervous as can be, but what could I say, it was time to bowl! We got a nice 2 hours of bowling and free pizza for a pretty decent price and we were off. The bowling itself was non-eventful, although it gave us a chance to do a little teasing that would be such a mainstay of her visit apparently. I won every game fortunately and then we were off to my house. We both arrived to my parents still around. I introduced Sarah to them and tried to keep the chatter down. Eventually we were up in my room just watching tv, waiting for my parents to leave....

I am assuming you two are both the real subjects. If so I love the fact you guys went on a limb with the alternating stories... However it got somewhat confusing(Jumping too quick, no real descriptions). Good story though.
