Knowing the Odds M/M

Postby Scottstud94 » Sun Aug 22, 2010 8:13 pm

As TUGS with friends go most of them start with a bet. I was only looking for a little extra money, and I knew how to get it. So after a little bragging about my skills as an escape artist there I was. About to be tied up. The bet was between me and a competitive friend of mine named Kyle. It was pretty simple I had an hour to escape from being taped with a whole roll of duct tape.

Kyle was about 5'6, brown hair, 15 years old
And I'm 5'7, black hair, 16 years old

I invited him over to stay overnight. He arrived at 4 wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops; I was wearing t-shirt, shorts, and barefeet. After hanging out for a while after people fell asleep we started he told me to get into a sweatshirt(red), jeans, and long socks(white hanes), after putting those on Kyle had me sit on the bottom portion of my bunkbed, back to a metal bedpost. The first thing he did was put some long socks over my hands to keep my fingers from wriggling. That's when the taping began (Something he'd learned from our previous TUGS) I knew in my head he'd made one mistake already. Whether I could capitalize depended on his tape job. I was confident ready to win but little did I know he had a plan in store and a whole huge roll of duct tape to execute.

The bet had began. To be continued.

He started out by putting my socked hands together palm to palm behind the bedpost. The tape being wrapped from my fingers to my forearms constructed my hands every movement. He wrapped that area for a good bit then moved onto taping my already bound hands to the bedpost. I ached In pain as my back was jamming into the pole behind me. After being wrapped to the bedpost my wrists were aching already. Kyle moved onto my upper body laughing at my predicament as he had only used 1/8 of the roll. Minutes later from my neck to my stomach. I began to complain...

"Dude that's good enough," I said.
"No, No I have this whole roll I'm gonna win this so easily," he lavishly said.
"I don't think so, but seriously that's good," I claimed.
"Haha put a sock in it," he laughed put a piece of tape over my mouth and I kept quiet glad not to have a sock jammed in my mouth.

I couldve easily gotten the tape off but I decided to just lay back and enjoy. The next thing he did was tape my legs together. Starting from my ankles he wrapped from my ankles to my knees in tape and set my now bound feet down. I was now less sitting but slouching with my back (spine) resting against the metal pole. Wrists taped together behind the pole and to it. Feet wrapped in tape and he still had a half roll left.

He moved onto my mouth with communcation stopped it didn't matter. He started at my mouth and wrapped the tape around my mouth and the post about a dozen times or so. It felt odd having a good friend effectively muffling your speech, as the tape went from my chin to my nose. The tape on my hands was doubled up, as was the tape over my up body. I moved around a bit to get comfortably but it seemed impossible.

"Stop moving or Ill DQ you," Kyle said. I grumbled and got more tape over my mouth for it. He had not used all the tape a dumb move on his part. But I still only had an hour. And I couldn't move. After a sock was tied over my eyes and upper head taped to the pole. I had the go, and I began the escape. Once I get outta this I thought, he's going down!

More to come!

Excellent story so far. Just one silly question: What does 'DQ you' mean? :?:

Coming from someone who also uses references (mostly Britis or knot-tying terms) I do not understand sometimes, reading that makes me feel better too. :big:

This is a good read and i look forward to reading more....

as for DQ...i would think that stands for disqualified. it is used in the States for swim meets or track meets "The swimmer in lane 5 was dq'd for a false start."

As in lose the bet automatically, I suppose? Gee, that'd be unfair! :quirk:
Not that the writer of tbis story is gonna win that bet anyway, right? :big:

Yes it meant disqualified (lose automatically), he was only joking I think, but I apologize I assumed the DQ abbreviation was universally known. Guess not haha

I began to struggle and flail against my bonds, I knew he had made a key mistake: Not taping the individual socks to my hands. This meant with a lot of muscle a could pull one of my hands out. Whilst I was busy working on that I took advantage of Kyles 2nd mistake. When I was gagged I never had a sock put in my mouth or any sort of stuffing, so it didn't take long to lick the tape off my lips and it fell down to my neck. The loose tape was still tight around my neck as well.

With my blindfold on my only reliance on time was Kyle, at around 15 minutes in breakthrough! I managed to slip one of my hands out! My left hand was free, but my arm from my shoulder to my elbow was still pinned to my side. It was enough to remove my blindfold but little else. Now the tape around my neck was beginning to choke me, so I made a deal with Kyle. We paused the stopwatch and he cut the tape from my neck and 10 minutes was added to my time to escape, he also got tied if I escaped. In exchange he got to retie my left hand, and head with socks only.
A soccer sock pinned my left arm to the pole, and another pinned my left hand. A baseball sock
blindfolded me, while the other cleave gagged me.

"Alright 50 minutes go" Kyle said, and he presumably returned to watching tv.
4 socks used? Out of 50 or so? He's confident I thought, too confident.

I squirmed around a lot but the socks pinning my left arm was extremely effective. I managed to get the blindfold and gag off with 35 minutes left. Then my right hand slipped out of the tape! After I unsocked it I moved from my sitting position on the bed so my feet hung off to the side and I was held up by only the upper body tape in a very uncomfortable position. With my free hand I unwound the tape binding my legs. Now I hit the home stretch, next I untied the socks binding my left hand. All I had left was the upper body tape, I cunningly took off my sweatshirt by slipping out, pulling my hands out of the sleeves and freedom.

"Haha I win, now it's your turn!"
Kyle sighed shrugged his hand and while the blood returned to my hands.... revenge!

"Alright same as you tied me. Put on a sweatshirt and you can wear long socks." I commanded.
"Can I put these on?" He asked as he grabbed a pair of my black nike soccer socks I had been blindfolded with before.
"Sure that works," I said
He did as I asked and I went to work. First thing I did was have him lean against the post seated as I had and put up the hood on the sweatshirt. Then I put some long white socks over both hands and like he failed to do I taped them to his arms. I had little duct tape left but I had an idea in mind. I duct taped his hands tightly behind his back and behind the pole. Then taped tightly to the pole. With the little tape left I needed to execute my plan.

"Alright I'm gonna blindfold and tape your mouth now ok?"
"Ugh alrighty then," Kyle said. Not that it mattered
I blindfolded him with a long sock, but did not tie his head to the pole. I pulled a small sock from my drawer and quickly jammed it in his mouth and started wrapping the remaining tape from the roll around his head. He mmpphhheddd loudly but not enough to wake anyone up.

I wrapped the remaining tape around his head, about 15 tapes around. And used 3 long socks to secure his head to the pole. Now that he couldn't speak or see I slipped a few zip-ties I'd stashed under my bed around his wrists and secured them to the pole as well. He was still struggling because he realized I had gagged him with my sock and zip-tied him. I jumped on his kicking socked feet and bound them together with some rope. He wasn't going anywhere I thought.

I wasn't feeling like a torturing soul, especially to my friend. so I let him struggle for a while and I slowly released him. We had a good laugh about it and then a massive cleanup effort began haha. But that was that. Victory for me! In several ways

No torture?!? Oh, darn it! Now I wish your friend had won! He might have been more interesting!!! :big:
Just kidding, but I was expecting a bit more of a payback after a build up like that! :quirk: *Sigh!* Still a good story though.

Ha! I'm sorry I was tired, and the zip ties and sock in his mouth was already torture enough for him. I couldn't be loud either my parents were right down the hall!

Our second part of the bet was the same rules anyway. I got tied up with a whole roll of tape, and a couple of ropes. If I won I got to tie him, I lose, I sleep tied. Now grant it I am no mere mortal escaper, I am very profound in my escaping skills. I hoped he would learn that. Anyway I was told to put on the same clothes as last time. A black sweatshirt, jeans, and I put on some old white/black baseball socks. Kyle was wearing a blue sweatshirt, jeans, and white ankle socks.

He quickly went to work on putting some crew socks over my hands and tightly taping them to my arms so I could not slip the socks off. The precise thing that led to his downfall last time. This made me nervous. He led me to a computer chair a told me to sit down. He quickly zip-tied each hand to a seperate armrest to ensure I didnt change my mind.

"Alright I'm taping your mouth shut, so you dont break my concentration on winning, after I do that I'll cut the zip-ties and use the tape." Kyle said.
"Haha whatever," I said.

He went to my drawer and grabbed a hanes ankle sock and told me too open up. I did willingly and the sock was shoved in. The sock was actually pretty big and it made my cheeks bulge out as he pushed it all the way in.

"Nah, not big enough," he said and pulled it out.
"C'mon that was big en....Mmmppphhhhh was all I could finish. A Hanes crew sock got jammed into my mouth, the ankle sock was big enough but a crew sock? I thought. He jammed it all the way in and my cheeks bulged. Every inch of my mouth contained the cottony sock fibers. My hood was put up and duct tape was wrapped around my head from the bottom of my chin to the top of my nose.

"That'll do for now." He cut the zip-ties and began taping each individual hand to the armrests . From my fingers to my forearms he covered in duct tape. This continued for awhile, then my shoulders were wrapped to the chair. My waist and body wrapped tightly to the spinning computer chair. Fortunately he was wasting alot of tape.

He went down to my feet mocking my position and wrapped from my feet to my knees in duct tape, but none around the thighs.

He wrapped a bit more around my forearms, then began to use the rest of the tape to wrap my mouth. Under my chin, around my head, over my head. He went on to use the rest mummifying my head in a blanket of tape except for my nose.

I couldn't see or hear under my cocoon, but I heard him say you have one hour, time starts now, and the (escape?) begun.

I began my escape pretty quickly trying to end this as quickly as possible. So I began to thrash about in the chair, not being able to see anything this was fairly difficult. I pushed my shoulders and upper body by lunging basically and heard some tape rip at the back of the chair, a good sign. Yet I needed to get the arms free.

About 15 minutes later after a lot of work on my right arm, I managed to rip the tape near my elbow. With a tough yank and s bit of maneuvering, I completely got my arm free of the tape. First thing I did was painfully attempt to unwind the mask this was a difficulty with the sock taped to my hand. As soon as I found the end all I did was unwrap the tape covering my head. As soon as my mouth was free i got the sock off my hand and the rest is history. I escaped with a good 23 minutes to spare.

Clearly Kyle was disappointed, but he knew what was coming. I told him to get ready because it was his turn to get tied...
