Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States of America, North American Continent, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way Galaxy. Can't get more specific then that honestly. lol

What continent is Hawaii? If anything we seem further away from any other continent in the world--so we gave you Barack Obama!

Technically Hawaii and the other Pacific Islands are not part of any continent; they are attached to the Pacific tectonic plate and are parts that simply happen to stick up above the water.

Yes you can. What's your street address?
BTW Expanding outward to Earth and beyond doesn't make it more specific; merely adds unnecessary detail as everyone alive and known to us share that part of the address. Specificity does downward not upward.

????? Dude, it's autumn in Antarctica now, not spring. Antarctica is just now coming off its summer, since it's in the southern hemisphere, and therefore getting colder instead of warmer!
Moreover, record lows recorded in Antarctica do not go below -128.6 degrees F (89.2 Celsius). Average temperature this past week should have been a comparatively balmy -40 degrees (same on either scale)!
You, sir, are a fraud!!! I accuse you of falsifying your address. :geek:

I thought of that, but it's possible he used that scale simply because he was responding to me and knew *I* am American (many of whom are ignorant of how to do Celsius scale conversion), and perhaps didn't know I am just as familiar with the Celsius scale as anyone.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but F=9/5C+32 right? And then + 273 for kelvin. Honors Chem FTW.

Except that Kelvin is +273 on the Celsius scale, not the Fahrenheit as you seem to imply (unless that was a mistake).
0 degrees Celsius = 273 degrees Kelvin
However, generally only scientists use the kelvin scale, and then only when discussing extremely cold temperatures like the surface of Pluto or the boiling point of liquid helium (which is pretty damned low!!! :big: )
*AHEM!* :geek: Anyway, this is getting a tad off-topic!

You're right, but America adopted Hawaii for their own, so considering that America is part of North America, Hawaii technically belongs to North America.

Looks like it's all Europe and North America with one Australian (probably Sarobah) so far; the Antarcticans almost certainly being hoaxes. But Gee; don't we have any Asians, South Americans, or Africans on this site? I'm surprised we don't have any South Africans (with a sizable English speaking population) at least!

1. As i said earlier when Jack Roper asked, Hawaii is part of the Pacific Plate - as are most of the South Sea Islands and therefore technically not part of any continent. Politically (and ONLY politically) it would be considered part of North America.
2. Do you have to inject an anti-Obama comment everywhere you frikking go? Regardless of my own political beliefs, it's getting old! And yes, even anti-Bush anti-Cheney comments would be annoying too if I'd encountered them as often when they were the head honchos as I encounter you pissing and moaning about Obama now, even though I hate them even more than you hate Obama (if that's even possible).
