The Power Girl

Intro -

This is a new series of fictional stories which I have decided to start about a young girl who runs an agency of dealing with bullies, chauvinists and jerks. Her customers are mainly female, but her victims are always male.

Part 1 -

Tina, short for Christina, was 14. She was pretty, with long black hair, blue eyes and a seductive smile, if she chose to use it.
She had many friends, and few, if any, enemies.
But that soon changed. Soon, she had more enemies but even more friends.
This was all as a result of the agency she started.
She intended the agency to deal with bullies, jerks and profiteers from her school and neighborhood.

The reason for her starting the agency was as result of an encounter with her neighbour, Adrian.

Part 2 -

One day, Tina woke up and stretched, before she heard some female cries of fear.
She hurried to her window and saw a small girl, about 9 or 10, being pushed around by a boy she recognised - her neighbour Adrian.

Adrian was 16, and used to throwing his weight about.
This gave him a very arrogant attitude. Tina didn't like him at all.
And now it looked like he was bullying this poor girl.

Tina knew she probably couldn't do much - he was almost half a meter bigger than her.
But she had to try.

She slipped her bare feet into her bunny slippers and rushed downstairs and out onto the front lawn of Adrian's house.

"What's going on here?" she asked, hands on hips.
Adrian turned round and laughed. Tina hadn't changed out of her pyjamas - there was no time - and so was just wearing skimpy shorts, a chest-hugging top and her bunny slippers.
She knew she didn't look very intimidating, but she had to try.

"Leave her alone!" Tina shouted.
Adrian smirked. "Why should I? We're just havin' a little talk, aint we, squirt?"
The little girl was too terrified to reply.

"I'm not going to ask again. Let. Her. Go." Tina curled her fists.

Adrian looked at her. "So wot if I don't? What you goin' to do to me?"

Tina growled and charged at him, losing her slippers along the way.
Surprised, Adrian was not ready for the roundhouse kick that smashed into his face and forced him to the ground, wheezing.
Tina, surprised by her own strength, held her ground as Adrian growled and charged at her.

Seconds later, he was in a heap on the floor, having been caught by a judo throw.
Taking advantage of this, Tina pounced on him and rained blows onto his face.

After a couple of minutes, she stood up and planted a bare foot on Adrian's chest.
"Will you stop now, Adrian?" she asked sweetly.
He groaned in pain. "Sure, whatever, just stop hitting me."

The little girl came over and giggled. "You totally beat him up. That was so cool!"
Tina smiled, almost surprised at her strength. "Yeah. It was, wasn't it?"
The girl smiled shyly. "Can I...you know...do that victory pose thing?"
"Sure!" Tina stepped back, eyeing Adrian to make sure he stayed down, as the little girl stepped forward and placed her foot on Adrian's face.
It was a ridiculous sight - a ten year old girl doing a victory pose over a 16 year old boy. But it made Tina feel proud at what she accomplished.

Then, another girl, about Tina's age, rushed over to the little girl. "Sophie! Are you ok? I saw the whole thing!"
The small girl, Sophie, smiled. "Yeah. I'm fine. He was being mean, but then this girl beat him up."
The older girl smiled at Tina. "Thanks for doing that. He deserved to be taken down a few pegs."
I looked at the pair. "You'll be ok?"
The older girl smiled at Adrian. "Oh yes. We'll just take this idiot back to my room and....play with him for a while!"

The two girls dragged the squirming and screaming Adrian back to their house.

By the time she had picked up her slippers and returned to bed, Tina had decided to deal with more bullies like that.

Part 3 -

At school, later that day, Tina told her best friends about her new idea.

She had three best friends. Two were her girls, her posse, her gang. The third, he was special. The first reason being he was a boy.

Her two girlfriends were Hermia and Alexis.
Hermia was a shy little thing, with long brown hair and matching brown eyes.
She was sweet but timid, and she didn't talk much except to her close friends.
She was also very intelligent, but didn't throw it around. In fact, due to her long periods of silence, many who didn't know her thought she was stupid, as she never answered questions in class unless directly called upon.
Her fashion was modest, and she cared little about clothes and makeup. She liked animals and nature in general, as well as reading.

Alexis could not have been more different.
She was a foreign beauty, a Polish girl who had moved with her family to Britain a few years ago. She spoke English perfectly, and only a slight trace of her accent remained.
With her long blonde hair and seductive blue eyes, she was commonly sought after by the boys at school. This was something she indulged in, enjoying flirting and teasing as much as she did playing hard to get. She had flings now and again, but she never stayed with one boy for long.
She was quite domineering, especially with boys. She made sure that the boys who flirted with her were left in no doubt about who would be calling the shots in the relationship.
Her fashion was the opposite of modest. Her school skirts were twice as short as normal regulations, and the top buttons of her shirt were almost always undone, showing off her cleavage to the delight of many of her male classmates. She even wore heels to school, despite the supposed rule against it, which was never enforced.

Meanwhile, Tina's third friend, Alex, was special.
He was first special in that he was a boy.
Tina disliked or distrusted most boys, with the exception of the boys who she had known long enough to trust.
Alex was one of these boys - her oldest friend. They had known each other almost their entire lives.
He was also special in that he was an uncommon occurrence at their school - a decent guy.
Tina knew that not all guys were bad. But she often reflected that her school had won the jackpot in jerks. Most of the guys at her school were jerks, either perverted or mean or sexist and arrogant.
Alex was none of these things. A little cocky sometimes, perhaps, but he made up for that by being kind, sweet and supportive. He was also witty and intelligent - indeed, often it was he to whom shy Hermia talked most. Their intellectual battles were epic, and often left both out of breath at the end.
Tina loved Alex. Sometimes, she wondered if the love she bore for him was romantic. But she didn't think so. She just felt that she loved him. She wasn't IN LOVE with him, but thought of him like a brother.
Besides, it was Alexis who actually fancied him. She confided in Tina that he was like no other guy, and she wanted to snare him. Of course, this didn't stop her having flings with other boys, but she flirted blatantly with Alex more than any other boy.
Alex, normally so clever, was too dumb, like most boys, to take the hint.

When she told the three of them about her idea, Alexis immediately indulged the idea.
Tina could see the Polish girl loved the idea of putting mean guys in their place, which made Tina smile.
Alex thought carefully. He approved the idea, but he warned Tina to be careful. What they were doing bordered on Vigilante justice, a warning Hermia agreed with. Tina reassured them that no boy would truly admit what happened, and even if he did, he wouldn't be believed.
Tina planned to set up a blog to draw attention to her new role as a vigilante. So her three friends, bless them, said that they'd come over after school and help her create a website.

Part 4 -

After school, Tina waited outside the school gates for her friends.

Less than a minute after she began waiting, she spotted Alex.
She walked over and pulled him into a hug, a tight one.
Alex patted her back. "Hey, it's ok. I love you too."
Tina pulled back. "It's not that. I..."
Alex touched her arm, concern on his face. "What? What is it, Tina?"
She sighed.
Alex guessed what was on her mind. "Having second thoughts?"
She shook her head vehemently. "No! Well, not really. It's just...thanks for doing this. For...helping me. It means a lot, really."
Alex smiled. She loved that smile. "Hey, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't help you terrorize the neighbourhood?"
Tina punched him playfully. "Hush, you. I got all emotional, and THIS is how you react?"
Alex smirked. "Tina, you getting emotional is when you beat people up. THIS is you being a friend."
She smiled at him. "Maybe you're right. Look, here come the others."

Alexis and Hermia walked out of the building, deep in conversation.
Alexis spied Tina and Alex and steered her friend towards them.
Her high heels clicked against the ground.
Tina tutted when she arrived. "I still can't believe you wear those! The rules-"
"Rules are meant to be broken. Besides, high heels are cute. And, they pack extra punch when you want to kick a guy where it hurts." Alexis fluttered her eyelashes at Alex.
Alex went a little red. "Alexis, of all the girls in the world, you terrify me the most."
Alexis smiled and leaned close to him. "That's the way I like it, Alex."
Then, linking arms with Tina, Alexis started walking away.
Alex raised his arms to the sky in a "Why me?" gesture, as Hermia and Tina giggled.
Then he followed, falling into step with Hermia.

Part 5 -

Tina looked back and smiled to see the normally shy Hermia deep in conversation with Alex.
She came alive whenever she was with him.
Tina didn't think she fancied him or anything, but there were times where it seemed she talked to Alex even more than she talked to her or Alexis.
Not that she was complaining - quite the opposite, in fact.
Tina felt overjoyed that Hermia opened up to him.

Leaving the two braniacs to their conversation, she turned to Alexis.
"What were you two talking about?" she asked, referring to the conversation she was having with Hermia as they were coming out of school.
Alexis grinned. "Just listing boys we might want to target with your new scheme."
Tina sighed. "I hope they deserve it and aren't just boys you want to beat up for fun."
Alexis smiled innocently. "Now why would a thing like that occur to you? I'm a good girl."
Tina smiled knowingly. "Yes, because good girls beat the crap out of boys who cheat on them."
She hid a smirk as Alexis grimaced. "Hey, Henry deserved it. That jerk cheated on me TWICE."
"So he got two kicks in the groin?"
Alexis smiled evilly. "Exactly! One kick for each girl he kissed." She paused. "Oh, and I gave him a third kick for luck!"
Tina shook her head. "I can't believe that guys aren't terrified of you."
Alexis glanced back towards Alex. Then she smiled at her. "Some of them are, Tina. Some of them are."

Tina laughed as they reached her front door.

Part 6 -

As Tina and her friends came in, they kicked off their shoes and headed upstairs to Tina's room.
Tina sat in her swivel chair at the desk in her room and booted up her laptop.
Alex grabbed a chair and pulled it up next to her.
The other two sat on Tina's bed, which was close enough for them to see.

Once her laptop had booted up, she opened her internet browser and turned to her friends.
"Ok guys, we need to think of a website that advertises what I want. A blog, as it were, that I can receive requests from."
Alex was deep in thought. "We need a snazzy title. Something that represents all your new agency stands for."
The four of them thought carefully, before Alex snapped his fingers.
"I've got it!" he exclaimed. "Call it, "The Power Girl". You're upholding girl power, and therefore it's a nice play on words."

Tina nodded. "Good idea, Alex. Doesn't really describe what I will do, though, does it?"
"Have a sub-title. Something like, "Bullies, Chauvinists, Jerks. Any problem boy is our specialty"?"
Tina beamed. "That's amazing." She brought up the blank website, and typed in the title and subtitle.
Then she messed around with the colours, making the background pink-red and the wording in bright white, and in a large font.
She showed the fledgling site to the others, who all agreed it was a great start.

"Now," Tina said, "We have to advertise ourselves."

Part 7 -

Alex stroked his chin. "Hmmm...well, I don't know if you can really advertise yourself without having done anything yet..."
Tina giggled. "Actually, I already have...."
"What?" Alexis exclaimed indignantly. "You didn't tell us!"

"Sorry, I forgot to tell you about it. Heat of the moment and all that." Tina blushed.
"So what happened?" Alex asked.
Tina recounted the story of her encounter with the little girl and Adrian.

By the end, all three of her friends were smiling.
"That jerk deserved it!" Alexis said.
Alex was thinking. "I have an idea. You and I could interview those two girls, and ask them for an opinion of your work for this site."
Tina hugged Alex. "Great idea, Alex! Should we go now?"
Alex was about to speak, but Alexis interrupted.
"Don't worry about the website. Me and Hermia will work on it while you're gone. We'll have it looking great by the time you come back, don't worry!"

Part 8 -

And so, Tina and Alex left her house.
Tina led Alex over to the house where she had beta Adrian up.
She knocked on the door.

After a few seconds, the older girl appeared at the door, wearing a bathrobe.
She smiled when she recognised Tina.
"Oh, hello again. You came to see me?" Her eyes lingered on Alex, who was staring at her in awe. "And you brought a cute friend."
This snapped the trance. Alex blushed and looked at his feet.
Tina smiled sheepishly. "Perhaps we've caught you at a bad time?"
The girl smiled widely. "Oh, it's no worry at all. Come in, come in, the both of you."

When the pair were inside, the girl led them to the front room, where the younger girl Tina recognised was relaxing on a sofa and watching TV, still in her school uniform.
Her sister, who had introduced herself as Katie, told her to pause the TV and move up, and the girl grinned when she saw Tina.
"Hi again!" Tina said, to which she received an eager "Hi" in response.
The older girl sat them down on the sofa, one of them either side of the younger girl, whose name was Sophie.
She herself sat down in an armchair opposite them and - maintaining strict eye contact with Alex - slowly crossed one leg over the other.
She smirked as Alex's eyes went out on stalks.

Tina rolled her eyes. It was clear the girl was enjoying the attention as much as Alex was enjoying looking.
She cleared her throat.
"We...we just came to interview you about what happened the other day. You see, we're creating this agency..."
She continued to explain her plan. Occasionally Alex chipped in if she missed things, and eventually the two finished and waited for a response.
Both girls seemed very eager about the idea.
"That'll give boys a clear message that we're not to be messed with!" Katie said. She glanced at Alex. "Uh, no offence."
"None taken." He smiled at Katie. "I must say, it's thanks to you two that we'll be starting this up."
The girls looked surprised. "Us?" Katie gasped.
Alex nodded. "Yeah. It was your giddy reactions to Tina overpowering him that made her want to do it again." He smiled warmly and squeezed Tina's arm. "Tina's always wanted to help people. Now she has a proper chance."
Katie looked pleased, and Tina silently marvelled at her friend's smoothness. What he said hadn't been a lie, exactly, but he had embellished the truth. And now, the girls would be happy and forthcoming for the interview.

Part 9 -

Katie looked at the two friends.
"So what exactly will this interview be like?"
Alex smiled, and pulled out a pad and pen.
"Oh, nothing big. Just a few questions about the experience and how you feel about guys being jerks in general."
Tina smiled to herself.
Alex wanted to be a journalist when he grew up, and this was perfect practice.

Katie glanced at her sister.
"You want us together or separately?"
"Together will be fine," Alex replied.

Tina sat back on the sofa as Alex addressed the two sisters.
"Ok, first question." He looked at Sophie, who was smiling shyly at him. "What was your first thought when Tina came to your rescue?"
The little girl grinned. "Oh, it was amazing! At first I was scared, because I thought that boy might hurt her, but when she started beating him up I was so happy!"
"Great." Alex wrote something down on his pad, then turned to Katie. "And how did you feel when you came outside and saw your sister posing atop this boy?"
Katie grinned. "I didn't understand at first, but it was pretty funny. When I found out what happened I was relieved and proud at the same time. I've taught Sophie to defend herself rather well. If I had been there, I reckon he would have ended up the same way."
"Mm-hmm." Alex scribbled some more down. "Ok, so how you you feel about boys in general? Do you get a lot of, ah, harassment?"
Katie looked at him, slightly confused. Then the penny dropped. She blushed. "You think I'm pretty enough to warrant guys' attention?"
Alex mumbled something, making the girls giggle. Katie smiled at him. "Yeah, I do get quite a lot of attention. Most of it's just casual flirting. i don't mind that. But a few guys recently have got a bit, well, touchy-feely. One day I'm gonna kick them where it hurts."
Alex grinned. "Good for you, Katie. Now, final question. How do you feel about guys that are jerks. What should be done with them?"
"Well, they need to pay, of course," Katie replied. "And you're the people to do it."

"Excellent." Alex finished writing. "I think I've got all I need. Thank you so much for your time."
"Bye!" squealed Sophie from the couch.
Tina ruffled the little girl's hair as Katie stood to show them out.
When they reached the door, Katie bade them good luck.
Then she smiled at Alex.
"If you ever feel lonely, Alex, you can come and keep me company..." She batted her eyelashes at him. "I like boys who know their place."
She leaned forward and planted a kiss on his cheek, then closed the door.
Tina tried hard not to laugh at Alex's expression.
"Come on, lover boy," she said. "Let's get back to base."

Part 10 -

The two friends returned to Tina's house.
They headed up to Tina's room, where Hermia and Alexis were arguing.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Alex said loudly, stepping in between the two girls. "What's going on?"
"She's boring," said Alexis resentfully, pointing at Hermia. "That's what's going on."
Hermia sighed. "Alexis wants to put a picture of a girl defeating a boy on the website. But I told her that it would be dishonest to get one from the internet. It would be hypocritical."

Alex looked at the website, and Tina joined him.
It looked great, with fancy, girly writing and links to where viewers could contact them and post problems, whether anonymously or not.
But there was a large empty space on the site that could do with a picture.

Tina smiled and turned to her friends.
"Hermia's right, Alexis. We can't just take an image off the internet."
"But-" Alexis began, before Tina shushed her.

She grinned. "But we can go out and get some!"
Slowly, Alexis smiled. "Oh, Tina, this is why I like you!"
Hermia giggled. "We could even keep a gallery of triumphant photos!"
"That's a great idea!" Tina said. "But where will we get some photos? No-one's informed us of any problem boys yet!"
Slowly, Alexis looked at Alex.
"That's alright," she said softly. "We have a boy right here!"

Part 11 -

Alex backed up, arms raised.
"Whoa now...Alexis, please don't do this."

But Alexis was smiling.
She followed Alex, taking one step forward for each he took back.
"Oh, but Alex," she pouted. "I thought you'd do anything for us."

Alex backed into Tina, who smiled at him.
"It does make sense, Alex..."

Alex groaned, as he looked at the three girls.
"Why did I ever become friends with you guys?" he said, arms raised to the heavens.
Alexis purred like a kitten. "So we could use you however we pleased, of course. Now shut up and get down on the floor. I need some good poses!"

Part 12 -

Alex sighed.
"There's no way I can persuade you out of this?" he asked in a weary voice.

"None at all!" Alexis said cheerfully from above him.
She was standing over Alex, who was lying on the ground on his back.
Alexis had one foot on his chest and was raising her arms in victory.

Tina smiled.
"Hold that pose!"
She took several photos from different angles.
"Now try sitting on his chest."

Alex blushed as Alexis gleefully straddled him, resting one foot on his face and raising her arms again.
Again, Tina took several photos.
"Now your turn, Hermia," she said.

Alexis climbed off Alex and smiled at Hermia, who was looking shyly at the ground.
"Go on, girl. You can do it!"

Hermia blushed.
"What pose should I do then?"

Tina shrugged.
"Put your foot on his neck maybe? Or his face?"

In fact, Hermia did both, one after the other.
And by the end, the girls had a good collection of photos.
Alexis helped Alex up.
"Thanks for doing that," she said, kissing him on the cheek.
Alex rolled his eyes.
"You'll photoshop my face, right?" he checked.
Tina nodded.
"Of course. Now, all we have to do is wait for some posts."
