THE HISTORY OF CALEB ROGER

This story consists of two fragments of an ancient manuscript.
Most of the rest has been lost to history.
You never know, perhaps Stevie will find some more when he is rummaging around in his attic.

It may be too much to hope for, but I would love if there were more story to go with this beautiful illustration. I love pirate stories, be they historical epics or light-hearted romps with fun-loving boys.

Thank you Veracity but, as I have said, most of the manuscript no longer exists. Such is the problem with ancient sagas!
I have asked Stevie if there is any more stowed away but the poor old boy's over fifty now and his memory's not as good as it was.

Seriously though, the short story was written as a reaction to two of Stevie's superb, and probably not even linked, illustrations. I probably can't expect him suddenly to produce more pictures and he can't guarantee that, if he did, I'd be able to react to them in a manner in-keeping with the current story.

Nevertheless, I live in hope.

Wassail!

THE HISTORY OF CALEB ROGER

Here is the second and, as far as I know, final fragment.
I hope that somewhere in an attic or antiquties shop there are more extant fragments.
Only time will tell.
