No, you're not.
Chadmc90 started a thread about this as well a short while ago and was told by various members to post on his profile that he doesn't wanna RP.
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=27900Now going back to gaggedrock29's question; as someone who gets pmed A LOT, I can definitely tell you something has changed over the past year.
Posting stuff about not wanting to RP on your profile won't change much since most of the the "kik generation" these days won't even bother to follow the forum or check the profiles of those they bug to RP.
Just had ANOTHER case of this tonight.
cutefeet15 pmed me out of the blue asking to chat.
When I responded and asked what he wanted to chat about, all I got was a line of half-garbled words, typos and no punctuation asking me if I was a sub, a dom, if I wanted to RP and what my Skype was.
Upon asking the user why he messaged me if he couldn't even bother to browse my profile beforehand, I got another rushed one-liner "
so what would you do with me and you don't want any pics or videos"
So I write back:
"I wouldn't do anything with you. I don't even know you.
And no, I haven't asked for any pics or videos. You're the one who messaged me, remember?"His parting reply:
dude your nobody I can promise you that.NICE! So I've been very active on here for a handful of years and talk to a lot of guys on here, all of them were polite enough to introduce themselves properly. THIS year has been very different though. I've started getting a lot of these rushed RP/photo requests from guys that don't post on the forum besides posting their kik and skypes everywhere. Usually I just ignore them, which is what I think I'll continue doing after being told that I was a "nobody" by someone who pmed me
So yeah, there's definitely some kind of trend going on that's new here.
These guys are easily recognisable though. They're usually in their late teens to early twenties and bug you with these typo-ridden one-liners.
Profile warnings will do little to hinder the new kik generation from bothering you, so don't bother.
Just be ready to get name-called if you decline their rp/pic swap invites
