POLICE LINE - DO NOT CROSS
The message scrawled over and over again on the blue and white police tape should have been the first clue to pretty vacationing students Lauren and Madeleine to turn back and simply find a different forest to go camping in, but they'd planned this trip for months, they wouldn't get another chance until the end of the year after exams were over, and frankly, they were just too stubborn to take no for an answer. It hadn't helped that the 40-something year old cop on the other side of the tape hadn't been willing to divulge any information, but instead repeated over and over for them not to enter the park. Lauren had given up, her long dazzling blonde hair shining as the summer sun hit the window of Madeleine's dad's car.
"Great" she sighed "Guess that's another trip cancelled..."
Madeleine, her auburn locks flowing down past her shoulder onto her tight-fitting black tee, saw the disappointment in her best friend's eyes, and could feel the hesitation in her voice, it'd been an intense year so far at uni, and she'd been looking forward to some time away from the craziness of life on campus. Whether it was guilt for letting her best friend down, or simply her own frustration, Madeleine made her decision, and threw the car into gear, taking off down a different dirt road.
"Wha-what are you doing, the main road's back that way!" Lauren yelled, surprised.
"Yeah I know, but screw it, we came here to have fun!" Madeleine smiled "Trust me this is a shortcut, it'll still get us to the camping grounds"
"But babe, the cops said we couldn't go in the forest!" her blonde friend worried
"We'll be fine, if there're cops all over the forest what do we have to worry about?"
(Three Hours Later)
Lauren looked around, taking in her surroundings. the tent was set up, Madeleine had a small fire going already, the sun was shining, and right next to their camping spot was a beautiful lake that mirrored the forest around it, every tree shown upside down in the reflection of the water, this lake stretched out for at most a kilometre, enhancing the natural beauty of everything around it.
"Why don't we take a dip?"
Lauren twirled around, seeing that Madeleine had noticed her staring out at the lake.
"You really want to?" the gorgeous blonde smiled, knowing full well what her best friend's answer would be.
"Of course! We have this place to ourselves, let's go for a swim!" the pretty brunette exclaimed joyfully.
Rife with excitement, Lauren immediately set about removing her clothes, the first to come off were her white buckle-up sandals, followed swiftly by her khaki hot pants, revealing her black and white bikini bottom she had chosen to wear underneath, after all the girls knew they'd be camping next to a lake...
Madeleine meanwhile, didn't even move, not because she wasn't able to, but because she was enthralled by her friend's incredibly sexy body, she wanted to look away, and yet, she REALLY didn't. See, try as she may to deny it, Madeleine secretly had feelings for Lauren, she'd been attracted to her for a long time, but never knew how to tell her, afraid it would ruin their friendship. But as Lauren removed her white tank top, her barely-hidden, perfect C cup breasts bouncing as the material was yanked from her body, Madeleine was struggling to contain her excitement, needing to cross her legs in order to restrain the feelings in her lower zone. Oh my God, she thought, she's just perfect.
"Hey, you comin'?!"
Snapped out of her thoughts, Madeleine watched as Lauren sprinted into the cold blue water, laughing and screaming at once as her skin tried to adjust to the cold. Not wanting to miss out on the fun, the sexy brunette immediately kicked off her own brown sandals, yanked off her own hot pants and her black tee, and took a moment to observe her gorgeous friend splash about in the perfectly still lake, her splashes disrupting the perfect mirror image of the surrounding forest in the reflective surface, Madeleine stood in an intoxicatingly sexy bright yellow bikini, her slender figure accentuated greatly by the swimsuit's design, she'd worn it to a pool party once, and had felt every pair of eyes present stop and stare as she'd walked in.
"Come on babe! It's beautiful in here!" Lauren called, backstroking to the centre of the water.
Without further thought, Madeleine rushed headlong into the shining natural pool before her, the water numbing her skin at first, but soon enough, as Lauren had said, it was indeed beautiful and soothing, her gasps of shock from the cold hitting her skin turned into sighs of relief and relaxation as she paddled her way casually into the centre of the body of water to join Lauren.
"God, this is amazing!" the sexy brunette exclaimed, smiling widely at her friend.
"I know right? I needed this sooo bad!" the beautiful blonde laughed.
Madeleine tried to look away from Lauren's face, but in an almost mystical way, she was drawn to it, her wet hair only seemed to enhance the beauty of her long face, bright blue eyes, and full kissable lips.... kissable?! Did she really just think that about her best friend? Madeleine decided to paddle around for a bit, get more used to the water, a few strokes around the lake, and she felt she was even starting to warm up a bit as the sun shined all the brighter. Stopping to tread water back in the middle of the lake, she looked around... where was Lauren?
"Babe?"
Was she under? Where was she? Back at the camp? No!
"Lauren?!"
Oh my God, she thought, no, no! Lauren was an excellent swimmer, she couldn't have-
"BAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"
"EEEEEEKKKK!!!! Christ!! Lauren don't do that!!!!"
Lauren couldn't answer she was crying with laughter, holding onto her friend from behind, she'd snuck up behind Madeleine from under the water and jumped out to grab her.
"Hahahaha! You know what you sound like?!" She cackled, imitating poor Madeleine's scream.
Turning around, Madeleine latched onto her best friend without thinking, wrapping her in a close, warm, watertight hug.
"I didn't know where you were sweetie! You scared me!" she exclaimed
"Haha exactly, Lauren laughed, not thinking much of the hug.... until it became apparent Mads wasn't letting go...
Madeleine really had thought she'd lost Lauren, and that thought terrified her, she placed her hand on Lauren's chest, involuntarily gazing into her friend's confused eyes.
"Erm, Madeleine? You ok babe? It was just a joke, I'm fine!" she remarked, smiling hesitantly.
Suddenly, the pretty brunette realised what she was doing, and drifted away from the confused blonde.
"Oh, I- I'm sorry babe, I-"
Had she really just done that? She couldn't even believe she had!
"I'm gonna go check on the fire" She quickly swam away as fast as she could, keeping her face hidden beneath the water, as it was a mask of embarrassment.
Lauren was left treading water in the middle of the lake, wondering what had just happened...
