Homemade how-to's

Postby ducttapegagged » Wed May 14, 2014 4:23 pm

Hey, everyone, ducttapegagged here. I've decided to start a new thread on how to properly do tugs with nothing but the stuff you find around your house, or homemade tugging. I'll be posting about everything there is to talk about, from hoods to hogties, toe ties to torso tightenings. This thread is specifically for the beginners out there who are interested in tugs but don't have the proper materials nor knowledge in order to tie yourself up (or others) securely and (most importantly) comfortably. Soon, if you follow me along on this how-to guide, you'll be just as good as the experts. And if you have any questions don't be afraid to comment below or PM me with these inquiries. A question or comment will NEVER go unanswered, so ask away, and happy tugging!

How-to #1: Basic leg ties part 1

In any tug, the legs are always the easiest thing to tie, no restrictions of the arms or hands reqired, so that's what we'll start with. When tying your legs, the first thing to remember is to make sure that you never cut off circulation! This can be a very bad thing. Tie tight, but stop when your legs start to hurt, then loosen the tie so they don't hurt anymore. In order to tie as tight as possible, use soft and wide materials in order to decrease the pressure on your veins and therefore increase how tight your bondage can be. I reccomend using long socks, scarves, or many loops of rope wound around close together. To tie your legs, you should never tie a plain double knot for two reasons: they are hard to undo, and they will never be as tight as the ties i'm about to tell you about. In order to tie a proper knot for a tug, first you need to tie a regular normal knot in your scarf, rope, whatever. This knot needs to be big and near the end of your rope so that you can slip the other end of your rope through the knot. You now have a lasso or "not knot", or a loop or material made by one end threaded through a knot in the other end. You can see that you can pull the one end back and forth through the knot on the other end, making the loop smaller or larger, even if you tighten the knot, which you should now do. Next, take your loop and pass it over your feet and to the desired place to tie. It is reccomended that you make four of these, with one tied at the ankles, one directly below the knees, and two around the thighs. Taking the end that is through the knot, pull on it until the loop is snug around your legs. Remember, do NOT cut off circulation. When you tie your legs, it doesn't matter if they are side by side or crossed, allthough having them crossed means the bondage will be tighter, and if you have neer done this before, pay attention, there is a significant difference with crossed and uncrossed legs in a tug.

After you have tied your legs with your material of choice, to cinch off the knot you can do one of two things. First, you could tie a knot in your rope so that you cannot loosen the existing knot without first untying the new knot, but again, hard to undo and takes a little bit of time to make. An easier and effective alternative is to tie the loop tight like before, then take the end that came through the knot and simply wind it around your legs as many times as needed, then feed it under the loop or loops you just made and pull tight so that it is stuck under the ropes, unable to be released by movement of the legs, but can easily be pulled out in seconds by hand. This creates a very effective, yet easy to undo cinch for your tie, and it will keep the legs tied together very tightly for a long period of time with easy and quick removal. You can do as many of these as you want of course, but if you have limited materials I suggest you only use 3 ties, one each around the ankles, knees and thighs. This combination will create a equalized restriction of the legs that cannot be undone by merely the moving of the legs, yet can be untied in seconds otherwise. Adding more material increases the restriction, you could even mummify the legs if you wanted too, but we'll get into that later. Thanks for reading, part 2 will focus on how to tie your legs with something other than rope like materials, such as tape, belts, and zip-ties. And if you think that this post had too many obvious tips and facts in it, be sure to tell me down below or via private message. I just want to make sure I covered everbody out there, up to the complete beginners. If there's no one like that on this site, then I'll be sure to change the thread so that it fits the needs of everyone better than before, and I'll skip the "obvious" stuff. Again, just trying to get everybody here, I sure don't want to leave anyone out. Next part should be posted soon, so until then happy tugging, and God bless.

this looks like a really good guide. one thing thats really important that i always pretty much ignored in tug guides is the cutting off circulation thing but it can happen quite quickly so thats why you should follow the guides properly. my hand is still numb from over a month ago so thats why im posting this. it doesnt affect me that much but im just hoping it goes away and its not permanent.

great guide.

Dude, I hate being crass but fuck your shyness. If I were you I'd swallow my pride and do it, If it's still numb after a month has passed that means something is wrong and you need to see one ASAP or else you risk it becoming permanent.

Don't worry about telling the doctor man, all you have to say is that your circulation cut off accidently and now your hand is numb. He won't suspect a thing. My jaw started popping and locking up after I cleave gagged myself really tightly one time and my chiropractor didn't suspect a thing either, and your case is easier to cover than mine was. Just go for it, you really need to get it checked asap, else you might suffer some permanent damage. Good luck!

Oh, and you did NOT ruin this thread. I asked for questions and conversations, I'm getting questions and conversations. In my book, the safety of others comes way before anything else that I do on this site, NO exceptions. And I know I'm a complete stranger, but I'm honestly hoping that you don't end up with any permanent damage to your hand.Whether you're religious or not, you're still in my prayers. I'm a 16 year old male too by the way, so if you want to talk, feel free to post a reply or PM me if you want. Get it checked out, and get better! -ducttapegagged

If there has been no change in a month, I would agree with the advice you've been given here. the fact that you can't remember how it happened, shouldn't change the doctor's treatment.

Let us know how you are doing.

So glad you are taking your time to do this. Why didn't you do this 60 years ago (Oh ya, we didn't have the internet then. Right!)?

No, I don't think we did :) Just a heads up though, posts on this thread will be very far apart, as the other stories I'm currently writing are what I'm mainly focusing on right now. It'll take time, but I will be back with the second part.

When working alone, ALWAYS exercise sufficient care to avoid potentially embarrassing situations. Having a parent, neighbor, roommate, or sibling walk in and find you all tied up (and gagged), is not really a good thing, so have a key for hand and leg cuffs, or a knife for ropes, "instantly accessible" just in case. It also doesn't hurt to have such implements available if things go south, and you do such a good job on yourself, that escape is difficult or impossible.

I subscribe to the theory that "It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

I also believe in Murphy's Law: "If anything can go wrong, it WILL go wrong, usually at the worst possible moment." (Murphy was an optimist.)

And let's not forget the six "P's:" "Prior planning prevents piss poor performance."
