So, here's a bit of a strange happening.
Like many other people, I've enjoyed the videos put out by What Culture over the years. Arguably their videos on pro wrestling were the most entertaining by far. Occasionally they'd do funny wrestling themed skits, they created a title made from cardboard (which was won by whoever was the most accurate in predicting pay-per-view matches) and they had some semblance of a continuing story line. Then a few months ago What Culture announced that in addition to their normal content they'd also be booking their own weekly wrestling show which streams live from Newcastle, England.
Three episodes in, and I've got to say that it is a decent show. Don't get me wrong, it isn't great, but I do find it more entertaining than WWE story wise (but let's face it, unless your name is Dixie Carter, telling a better story than WWE really isn't that hard). However, not all the wrestlers they've hired are that good. They've plenty of good talent but there are also a few guys that are stiff in the ring. I guess that'll change once a few former WWE wrestlers show up (Damien Sandow FTW!!)
I'd say it is a good show if you're looking for an alternative to WWE and TNA. And since I lack cable and a subscription to the WWE network, this'll be the main wrestling show I watch for a while.
