Bare Feet Driving

Postby Jay Feely » Tue Apr 10, 2012 7:35 am

What do you think about bare feet driving? Reason why I asked because I always drive bare feet on the road no matter if I go to college as a commuter student, or go to the mall, or to a friend house to hang out with them, or going on a road trip to a new city. If you do drive bare feet, why do you do it? For me, I do it because it feels more comfortable.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

IMO it's not a very bright idea to drive bare footed, as it could be rather painful if you have to use the brakes in an emergency and could result in a serious accident ifyou weren't able to aplly pressue on the brakes fast enough.
In fact, to be perfectly blunt, it sounds like one of the stupidest ideas I *ever* heard of; along with texting a phone message while driving.

TMI moment:

Ive driven naked tons of times.

With that said i have no issues with breaking or anything. Just have a pair of shoes in the seat next to you if you need to change a flat or somthing
I close my eyes, Inis Mona
And reminisce of those palmy days
I moon o'er you, Inis Mona
As long as I breathe
I'll call you my home

Are you serious, or is this another "I live in Antarctica" moment?
I'll bet you'll have an interesting time of it if a cop ever pulls you over! :worried:
And has it occured to you that you'd be perfectly visible to anyone passing you inside a bus or a truck? :big:

Then again, there aren't many people on buses in Antarctica and a truck driver driving on the left won't be looking down and out of his right window(switch left and right if cars drive on the left side of the road in Antarctica).

1. I doubt Zanev is driving naked in frikking Antarctica.
2. If he's driving British style wherever he IS driving, so is everyone else on the road with him and so it's still driver's side to driver's side. This is true regardless of which side of the road you drive on in any country, because in those countries the drivers' side is on the right - not the left (unless they use a lot of imports?)!
3. I was referring to passengers more than I was drivers. I've ridden buses enough times to know that when you ride in one passing a car, you can see the car driver's lap quite clearly!!! Same for anyone looking down at traffic from a second story (or higher) building along the street/road, for that matter.
4. I think Zanev made the whole thing up anyway.
5. (If Zanev is God, as he says, then) God must be a liar; no wonder religion is so messed up!!!

But, it you're naked, there is a higher risk of being hit by sunlight.

During the winter, sunrise doesn't happen very often above the Arctic Circle, and the further north you are the less often it happens. At Port Barrow Alaska you have a period where there is no sunrise at all for over a month, and another couple of months where the days last less than a couple of hours and the sun barely gets over the horizon. At the north pole itself there's only one sunrise and one sunset per year. I imagine a vampire with any sense can keep track of sunrises and sunsets there.
In fact there was a horror movie with precisely this plot-line, which is where I got the idea for my quip in the first place.
And boy, are we ever getting off topic... though so far Jay doesn't seem to care. :D
