Grappling and tugs?

Anyone else draw any similarities between tugs and grappling arts? Wrestling or jujitsu seem to involve dominance and submission, restraints, torture. It seems like bondage without the ropes.

Yes, I definitely follow what you're saying.
I see wrestling and the eventual pinning down, as a form of restraint in itself.
Only difference with TUGs is that it's much more physical...much like handgagging.

I really like it.

I don't always put them together when I think about them, but I think I like wrestling and tugs for about the same reasons, like you said submission and restraint.

(Just to be honest about it, I never wrestled on a team or had lessons or anything. I'm talking about backyard wrestling with my cousins, trying to copy stuff we seen on TV :) )

I know what you mean. I have a jiu-jitsu black belt and some wrestling experience, so that is very appealing to me...especially if it ends up that one party is tied and gagged...

For those who have never encountered it, check out "hojojutsu".
Boxer shorts are cool,
but little speedos rule!
