Older is only better...like a fine wine

As was discussed somewhat recently in the TUG talk forum, you need not give up TUGs just because you get a little older. I am 47 and have enjoyed TUGs most of my life. I am fortunate enough to have a wife who, while not really into it, is willing to indulge and has become quite the expert at tying. She is not interested in being tied herself and that is fine with me. It's fun being helpless and at her mercy! Often I read people say they enjoy TUGs but have nobody to do them with. That's not a problem for me! However, my wife appreciates it if we don't do it too often, usually 1-3 times per month at most.

For us, it is a game. Nothing extreme or kinky. She ties me up and I try to get out. Over the years, I have succeeded a number of times, but experience has been a good teacher and she is winning a lot lately. Our games our carried out in our basement. The basement is not finished but certainly not a dungeon either.

Part of the game is that she wants to watch a TV show I don't care for like Dancing With The Stars and I tell her there's only one way she will be allowed to watch it! Last night was such a night. It had been a warm day with rain falling outside in the evening. I was wearing long pants and a yellow t-shirt. We went downstairs and she tied my hands behind my back. She uses a 3 way tie, crossing my wrists behind me then tying in 2 directions, then a third loop around all the ropes cynching it all together. She repeats this process a couple times, then has me sit in a chair and handcuffs my left arm above the rope to the chair. She then exclaims "have fun" and leaves me.

Being left tied like this is fun. I like it but I would also like to get away, at least eventually. However, the ropes are tight and being handcuffed to the chair as well adds to my inability to move. My arms are pulled over the back of the chair before being handcuffed. That position makes it virtually impossible to stand even though my feet are not tied. There is no clock near where I am left and therefore no way to keep track of time.

As I sit, I try to determine something about the tie and how to escape. It is cynched tight around each wrist so pulling free is impossible. The knots are well out of reach of my fingers, so my options are limited.Time seems to drag, but I like that. I can be very busy and can get anxious about things. This forces me to stop and, oddly, causes no anxiety at all.

Sometimes the ties are so tight as to cause considerable discomfort. Not this one. It is by no means loose, but it is pretty comfortable as ties go with cotton clothes line. Several times my wife has tied my with a limited amount of rope. This has been quite uncomfortable as one or two loops will bite into my wrists. We discussed this and now she uses more rope. Multiple loops spreads the tension out and prevents such pain and potential rope burn. It does make it more difficult to escape but I like that too! As best as I can tell, there are about 4 loops of rope around each wrist, with several more cynching it all tight.
