PROLOGUE
YOU'RE ON

"Well... That's just perfect."

Alison Anderson groaned the second her eyes met the kitchen floor.  It was more of a mess than she'd ever seen before in her 15 years of life, and how her little sibling had managed to do it in one hour was beyond her.  Another thing that didn't make sense: why in the HECK would the tiny little girl have tried to cook?  She wasn't old enough to reach the cupboard yet.  She probably wasn't even old enough to know how to spell 'cupboard'!

She waded through an unidentifiable sea of mush that once was food and felt heat on her bare feet.  So this was fresh.  That would explain why her parents hadn't noticed yet.  Any minute now they'd come down here.

She plopped herself down in her favorite chair- with the dark wood and blue cushion- and expertly snatched an apple from a bowl of fruit, taking a large, juicy bite.  At least this wasn't getting blamed on her- she'd just returned from school; there was no way she could have done it.  The little pipsqueak was finally in trouble now.

She eased back, her legs still slightly worn out from track not ten minutes ago.  Her navy uniform, despite being Alison's favorite color, was far too revealing for her liking.  She'd have to change once she was done eating.

Her thought was interrupted by heavy footsteps descending the stairs and Alison looked up.  Her mother entered the room, eyed the mess, and groaned.  "What did your sister do this time?" she inquired grumpily.

Alison opened her north, but her mother's hand stopped her, clasping over it.  "Wait."  She ran a hand through the shining copper hair she'd passed down to her daughter.  "I'll forget what I was going to say.  Sweetie, you know about your Uncle Roy?"  She removed her hand.

Alison instantly stiffened at the mention of her Uncle's name.  "Yes," she said coldly, stiffly.  How could she forget about him?  How could she forget about... Georgia?  She nearly shuddered at the remembrance.

"Well," her mother began tenderly, slowly, taking her time and being cautious, "you see... your father, sister and I are going to go visit him."

"No,"  Alison declined instantly, standing and backing up quickly.  "No.  I'm not going."

Her mother was quick to reassure her, "I know, I know, Alison.  You're not coming.  I know."  She placed both hands on Alison's shoulders.  "I'm not making you visit him after what happened in Georgia..."

This time, Alison really did shudder.  Then the words hit her over the head like a sack of wet cement and dragged her down with them.  "Wait... So you're not making me go?"

"No," her mother insisted, "we aren't.  So... Since we'll be gone for a week, and I don't want you to be all by your lonesome, I was thinking..."

She looked up meaningfully and Alison's cloud-grey eyes flashed.  "Mom!  Really?!"  she exclaimed in disbelief, bursting up and out of the chair into which she'd eased herself.  "Are you saying what I think you're saying?!"

Her mom laughed jollily.  "Judging by what I think you're saying, you think you're saying what you think I'm saying."  She paused, then added, "And you're right."

Alison threw her hands into the air and began to hop about like a clinically insane bunny rabbit.  "YES! YES! WEEK LONG SLEEPOVER!" she shouted to the sky, so incredibly ecstatic at her situation.  One full week of her best friends and her watching re-runs of Criminal Minds and White Collar on the T.V. in the living room.  This was just wonderful!

"Two weeks," her mom corrected, met with a look of astonishment.  "We're then staying a week at Aunt Milda's," she explained her reasoning.  After all, one week plus one more week is two weeks.

Alison had honestly never been happier.  Not only had she averted the crisis of having to visit Aunt Milda's and Uncle Roy, now she had two weeks alone with her friends.  Two whole weeks- 14 days!  336 hours!  She threw her hands in the air and shouted her best-known happiness-shower: "HOWDIE HOO!"  Her mother laughed and ruffled her daughter's hair happily.

"When do you leave?" she asked, perhaps a bit too eager.

Her mother threw her head back and laughed again at her daughter's eagerness.  "That's just it.  Right now.  What your little sister was trying to make was goodbye cookies."

With one last kiss to the stunned girl's forehead, her mother stood and exited the house with a fading, "Bye, honey!  The three people on your speed-dial will be here in five minutes!"

Alison had no idea why her mother had waited to tell her at first.  Then it dawned on her.  She hadn't wanted to make her wait.  This way, there wasn't the torturous period of 'when will they get here?' or 'how much longer?'.

She didn't waste any more time in running up the stairs to her room as quickly as she could, entering the pig-stye of a living arrangement and picking up the first clothes she found, though they smelled musty and were likely in dire need of a wash.  She ended up in an old gray T-shirt with words too faded to make out and yellow-and-red plaid shorts.  She quickly slipped fuzzy purple socks over her cold feet and ran down the stairs again.

Not so much as a minute had passed since her mom had claimed 'five minutes' when the doorbell rang.  She was only halfway down the stairs, but quickly jumped the last five and stumbled onto the carpet, rushing to fling the door open.

The next thing she saw was a flurry of navy as a school-clad girl darted through the now-open door, taking that as an invitation, and tackled her into a hug.  "Alison!" she cried happily, her pleated uniform skirt swaying.

"Patty!" Alison replied, equally exited as she wrapped her arms around Patty's neck and squeezed with all her happiness, hoping she didn't suffocate the blonde.

"Two weeks!" Patty squealed back.

The two spun around happily in each other's death grips for quite a while before calmly letting go and brushing themselves off like nothing had happened.  Patty smiled softly, her brown eyes warming Alison's very soul with how much friendship was stuffed into them.  "I can't wait to tie you up, little birdie," she teased, ruffling the younger (if only by a year) girl's hair with a big grin.

Alison scoffed and crossed her arms.  "Please, Patty, I will so get you first."

Patty laughed and leaned in, accepting the challenge.  "You're on."

The doorbell tang and both girls charged for the door like they were fleeing from a bomb.  They flung it open at the same time, each grabbed a freckly wrist, and pulled the pale girl inside.

She yelped in shock and struggled for half an instant before calming, realizing it was just them.  She smiled shyly and adjusted her glasses.  "Hi, Alison.  Hi, Patty."

"HI, SUSAN!" both girls screamed in unison, hyped up on the idea of being together, undisturbed.  "TWO WEEKS!"

Susan laughed much more tamely.  "I've heard," she chuckled, her eyes shimmering with blue glints of hidden mirth.  "I can't wait.  I assume we'll be tying each other up?"

"Definitely!" Alison chirped.  "I'm gonna tie up you two first, though."

Susan suddenly laughed in belittlement and disbelief.  "No way, Josè," she chuckled, "I'll totally get to you first."

Patty, being the athletic girl she was, quickly tackled Susan playfully, making certain she landed safely on the plush carpet.  "Sorry Susan, but I'm getting you both first."  She gently held Susan's wrists in place, as if to prove her point.

Susan smirked.  "Oh, it's on," she declared, not at all intimidated by her predicament.  Patty smirked back at the weaker girl in total confidence.

"Uh... Patty?"

Many heads snapped up.  "Elli!" Patty cried, jumping to tackle the newest arrival into a hug, but Elli didn't even stumble as she threw her weight into her.  "We're all here!"

Susan gave the other brunette a look of thanks and rose.  Elli nodded and smiled even more shyly than Susan had.  "H-hi, Alison, Susan."

"Hi, Elli, what had you so late?" Alison teased lightly.

Elli's blush was very heavy and she looked down.  "I- um- I-"

"Relax," Alison laughed, throwing an arm around the slightly younger girl's shoulder.  "I was just kidding.  You're actually a little early.  Although... It's still late."

They all turned to the clock, which blinked 9:07 at them, then shrugged in unison and made a collective break for the TV.  Now wasn't a time for sleep, now was a time for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

The timid girl she was, Elli offered shyly, with a blush, to make the popcorn, and Susan offered very specific information of popcorn that only her, being a genius, would know.

A good four hours later, they all stumbled off to sleep- the three guests in previously-stored sleeping bags and Alison in one she brought out from the closet.  They fell asleep in the living room together, on the plush carpet.

They would need their sleep.

Because it was on.

And one of the girls already had a few ideas...

CHAPTER ONE
DON'T GO ANYWHERE

It was Patty who was first up, sneaking out of her sleeping bag and tiptoeing across the carpet.  She, like everyone else in the room, had her own stash of stuff, mostly bondage materials, hidden away in this house.  Now it was time to use them.

She slipped through the hall and into a walk-in closet with many boxes stacked along the walls.  She pulled three boxes off one of the stacks and picked up the fourth, carrying it with her back to the living room.

The floor in the living room didn't creak, luckily, so Patty was able to slip over to Alison's sleeping bag without waking anyone.  She knelt by her younger friend's side and smirked evilly.  She was the one who'd started the challenge, after all.  Who could blame Patty for taking her up on that challenge?

Patty rummaged softly through her box, debating, for a minute; she had picked Alison because she was the heaviest sleeper and could be gagged before she could wake the other, lighter sleepers up.  Still, she'd have to be careful and gentle.  She grinned as she found just the thing and pulled it out.

The girl had never got into her pajamas and still wore an old gray Tee, which Patty was grateful for.  It made less noise as she lightly pulled her hands together- slowly, softly- and looped a scarf around them, securing them together. She then slowly pulled the sleeping bag open, though she didn't remove Alison from it, and did the same to her ankles.

She looked around at Susan and Elli carefully.  Still fast asleep.  She grinned and zipped the sleeping bag back up, then knew it was time for the game-changer.

She pulled out a scrap of cloth and stretched it between her fingers, holding it right above Alison's mouth.  When her friend's lips opened in a breath, she quickly pulled the cloth in.  Alison jolted awake, but the cloth was being knotted tightly in her hair before she could do anything.  The sleeping bag kept her from thrashing too much in her restraints and she couldn't wake the other two.

That didn't stop her from trying, though.  She flailed about with a glare on her face, 'MMMF'ing, but it was barely audible.  Patty smiled, her eyes sparkling, and tucked a piece of hair behind Alison's ear.  "Not right now, little birdie," she whispered, her trademark nickname just infuriating Alison more.  "First I have to deal with big, bad Susan."

Patty stood, ignoring her friend, and stalked silently over to another friend- Susan, who was tucked neatly into her sleeping bag, her purple pajamas matching well.  She crouched down by her sleeping form and wasted no time in duct taping her in to her sleeping bag.  Her eyes snapped open just as Patty sealed off her mouth with more tape.

She glared and tried but failed to push off her taped sleeping bag.  "Not yet, Susie, Elli first," Patty whispered happily, offering her a smile.

She heard a sudden gasp from behind her and rapidly turned to find Elli awake, standing and wide-eyed.  Quickly, Patty tackled her to the carpet and tied her hands behind her with a coil of rope, then binding her ankles similarly.  She didn't bother gagging the flushed, stuttering girl- not yet, at least.

Finally, Patty stood victoriously and gazed at her three captives.  Susan was giving her a fearful stare, Elli was looking away in embarrassment, and Alison was glaring at her full force.  "Oh my," she teased mockingly, clapping her hands together in wonder.  "What have we here?"

Alison 'MMF'ed angrily and earned a sheepish grin in response.  "Right, little birdie."  She almost skipped over and untied the gag from her friend's mouth, casting it aside as Alison muttered more profanities than Patty knew existed.  Patty quickly slapped her hand over Alison's mouth.  "Now now, little birdie, talking is a privilege.  Don't misuse it."  She removed her hand and giggled as she approached a wide-eyed Susan and quickly tore the duct tape from her face.

She stood in the middle of the three again and grinned as she looked over them.  "I told you so, didn't I?" she teased, Elli squirming in her baby blue pajamas.  "I told you I'd get you first.  But you chose not to listen, didn't you?  And look where that got you."

"Look, Patty," Alison huffed, sounding exasperated beyond belief, "if you're gonna tie us up more than this, by all means, do so, but if not, let us sleep, would ya?"  She glared with some force up at the slightly older girl, who just chuckled in response.

"Very well," Patty replied gleefully.  "And who will have the honor of going first?"

The three girls on the floor looked between each other quickly and seemed to communicate silently with their eyes.  "I will," Alison spoke up, rolling jet eyes at the whole matter and shrugging nonchalantly.

Patty debated for a minute, then shrugged.  "Sure, I'll go ahead and agree with you guys.  Little birdie is a good first choice."  She grinned as she turned to the girl in mention and squatted down by her side.  "Now, little birdie, since I'm a good sport, I'll let you choose a few things.  First of all, hogtied or chairtied?"

Her response was immediate, elicting a smile.  "Chairtied," she said decisively, not really having any hesitation at all.

"Very well," Patty responded, then got up from her squat and grinned at Alison.  "I will be right back," she announced, humming merrily to herself as she hopped happily into the kitchen, leaving the three alone to wait her return.

"So," Susan asked casually, conversationally, "how 'bout this weather we're having?"

"The forecast predicted wonderful revenge weather tomorrow," was Alison's equally carefree response. "You in?"

Before the other girl could respond, Patty re-entered the room, dragging a kitchen chair behind her.  She pulled it over to "little birdie" then abruptly stopped, setting it next to her.  "Alright, next decision!" she announced blissfully, smiling a thousand-watt smile and squatting by her victim again.  "Duct tape, zip ties or rope?"

"Rope."  There was even less hesitation now, and Patty giggled again.  Apparently the other girls were more decisive than she was.

"Very well," she repeated, and pulled out a few masses of rope from the box.  She unzipped the sleeping bag and pulled her captive out, sitting her on the chair and pinning her down when she struggled lightly, more playful than anything.  She picked up one coil of rope and looked Alison over for maybe a minute or two before deciding and making her move.

She pushed Alison's bound arms behind the chair and made secure knots right under the girl's shoulders.  "You aren't taking chances," her victim remarked, to which she replied with a snort and more knots right above and below her elbows.  Only then did Patty dare unknot her wrists, quickly tying them back together, tighter this time, and with rope.  She left a long strand of rope hanging from her wrists and stood back for a second before closing in again.

Now she quickly secured Alison's torso to the chair's back, winding ropes around her ribs and the chair before knotting it off and pulling it tight, effectively rendering her upper half near useless.

She stepped back and looked over Alison again with scrutinizing eyes, planning her next move before she went in again, more rope slung over her arm for handiness and ready use.  She quickly tied just above and below her captive's knees before removing the scarf from her ankles and retting them with rope just as she had done with her wrists.  She thought for a second, then slowly tied her shins and upper and lower thighs together, taking no risks.

When she stepped back again, Alison's voice came, exasperated with how long it had been taking.  "Are you done yet?" she grumbled, rolling her eyes when Patty grinned at her in response- a clear "Not quite yet" that didn't require any speech on her part.

Patty circled the chair containing one of her best friends and smirked the whole time, seeing how utterly helpless her victim was.  Just how she liked it.  Finally, she made up her mind one last time and swooped in for the kill.  She grabbed Alison's feet from behind when the girl- unable to turn around- was least expecting it, earning a cry of protest which she caringly ignored.  She pulled at the strand of rope she'd left hanging from the girl's wrists and tugged it over to her ankles, pulling it taut and knotting it so that her heels pushed firmly against the bottom of the chair and pulled down on her wrists.

As an afterthought, Patty secured her arms to the chair by the elbow and shoulder with a last bit of rope, effectively exterminating the last bit of mobility Alison had left.  With a giggle and a "One last thing," Patty pulled out two scarves with a flourish and tied one tightly into little birdie's mouth, making her yelp as she hadn't been expecting it.  The second was tied just as tightly around her eyes, bringing out a satisfying "MMMFF!" of protest.  Alison wriggled and thrashed, but she could barely even do so.  She was absolutely helpless.

Deciding that she hadn't quite filled her quota of cliché remarks, Patty ruffled Alison's hair and chuckled "Don't go anywhere, little birdie."  Alison "MMMFF"ed furiously and struggled, but Patty just laughed and walked away, deciding she would let Susan and Elli be... For now, at least.

As she settled into her sleeping bag rooms away (to keep from practically begging to be repaid while she slept), Susan was wrenching her wrists against the duct tape around them, muttering to herself as she worked.  Elli just watched with wide eyes as Alison squirmed in her seat without really accomplishing anything outside of just that- squirming.  Patty may not have technically been a professional, but she certainly was in the eyes of everyone else at school- so was Alison, to be fair, but that wasn't what was important.  What was important was that she hadn't been expecting the attack, so she was rendered helpless.

With one last cry of triumph, a ripping sound was heard.  Alison stilled and listened intently as Susan leaped to her feet.  "Free!" she announced, making Alison relax exponentially.

"Uh, th-that's amazing, Susan," Elli stuttered, still embarrassed by how she had been so easily restrained.  "C-could you let us go now?"

"You, Elli?  Certainly."  Susan skipped happily over to Elli and knelt at her side, quickly and easily removing the restraints holding her down.  She stood and stretched, sighing in relief as her back cracked audibly and shuddered into place.

Elli began to walk over to Alison quickly once she was done stretching.  "Coming Alison," she announced, making Alison sigh in relief as she heard the footsteps approach her.

Then the footsteps stopped and she stiffened, her mind slowly comprehending what was going on.  "No, Elli," Susan's voice came, "don't."

Elli was shell-shocked, Alison even more so.  "B-but why?" Elli stuttered, eyes wide and glistening at the thought of leaving Alison all helpless like that.  "It was Patty who tied us up, not her!"

"Yeah," Susan admitted, hand still on Elli's shoulder, keeping her from advancing any further.  "That may be true.  But it is essentially her fault that Patty pulled it off," she persuaded slowly, to Alison's rising horror.  "I mean, if she wasn't such a heavy sleeper, she'd have woken up and either not gotten tied up in the first place or woken us up before she could get to us."

Elli's eyes- once focused fervently on Alison- slowly dropped to her feet as she stepped back.  "Yeah... Okay..."

Elli turned and left the room, though Alison could practically hear the hesitation radiating off of her in waves.  She didn't want to do this and, had Alison been ungagged, she would have easily talked her in to letting her go.  Although, Alison was slowly becoming unsure whether or not Susan would let her.

As Susan passed, she giggled and patted Alison's cheek.  "Don't go anywhere," she repeated, Alison's desperate "MMMFF!!"s fading behind her as she left the room, dragging Elli's and her own sleeping bags behind her as she went to sleep by Patty, leaving Alison still chairtied, still gagged, still blindfolded and still entirely helpless.
