Wrapped up

The following text is not part of my entry, and that includes the title: I've never tried a more romantic story, or a short story, so it was interesting to see if I could do both. It's not perfect, but I think it's decent, and it's worth a try. The 500 word limit really was tough. Thanks anyways, don't know who I'm talking to.

My Entry, which is another horrendously bad title 493 Words

Jessie hated running. She hated getting tired, she hated getting sweaty, and she just hated moving too quickly in general. But this time, she didn’t mind so much. She looked back as her boyfriend, Daniel ran after her.

It was one of those stupid things that they did, one of the many stupid things young people do when they’re in love. But Jessie and Daniel weren’t typical young people; they shared a certain connection, a connection that couldn’t be explained to others, that others simply could not understand. It was something that the two of them loved, almost as much as they loved each other.

Jessie laughed as she ran, feeling as if she could go forever. But Daniel was faster than her, and he caught up, and suddenly she was in his embrace. He felt warm, one of the many things she liked about him. No matter how cold the wind blew, how much the sky snowed, he was always warm, just when she needed him.

“Gotcha,” he whispered, and Jessie grinned.

“Yeah, you did,” she agreed. “Get on with it already. I don’t have all day here.”

Daniel reached into his pocket and smiled, getting out some tape. Jessie smiled at it too, and he started unwinding the roll, letting the sounds of the adhesive ring into the air as it was further unstrung. Jessie obediently put her hands behind her back. He didn’t need to tell her what she had to do, she knew what he wanted.

She felt the sticky feeling of the tape enclose around her wrists, circling tightly, wrapping more and more, thicker and thicker. At first she hadn’t liked it; it had felt weird, and a little scary. But now she didn’t mind, he had helped her see what he saw.

Daniel wrapped the tape around her ankles, wrapping them around again and again, until she couldn’t move her feet anymore. He went on her knees, encasing them, trapping them together. The sticky bands tightly strung her legs together, entrapping them.

Jessie couldn’t move anymore, but he didn’t stop there. He wrapped tape around her chest and around, starting at the belly. The tape went over her belly and around her arms, making her more helpless with each pass. Soon her upper body was encased in a cocoon of tape, just like the rest of her. It made her shiver with excitement.

“How’s it feel?” He asked.

“Um, good,” Jessie said, testing the tape. Her wrists pulled and twisted, and her legs strained against the tape, but everything was too tight and too strong. But that was good, that meant that she didn’t have any control over herself. Which would be bad, if she wasn’t with someone she trusted.

“How about that gag?” She asked as she leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

“I thought you’d never ask.” He then ripped out a piece of tape, sealing the smile on her cheeks.
In the end, it matters not how many breaths you took, but how many took your breath away.
