Who doesn't love it when you walk into class to find a supply teacher? Especially when that class is woodshop, and there just happens to be a fully constructed shed in the room. As soon as I saw the sub, I started thinking about what I could do today. After the rest of the class had arrived, the sub took attendance, and then proceded to fall fast asleep. And I don't mean lightly napping. I mean full out thunderous snores, face down on the table.
With only seven other people in the room, the rest having skipped, I suggested that we play a game in the shed, just to make sure that we did not wake the supply teacher. Once we had shut the door, the short little redhead named Jenna asked "Well, what game do you want to play?"
Seizing what seemed like the perfect opportunity, I quietly suggested truth or dare. Having gotten to class early, I made sure that there were a couple of roles of ducttape and pieces of rope lying around the shed. Since no one could come up with anything that would be more entertaining, we started playing.
"Why don't you go first Jacob?" I asked. Although Jacob is one of the taller, better built kids in the class, he was pretty shy, so I expected to be able to easily steer the game the way I wanted it to go.
"Okay, hmmm, lets see. Kody, truth or dare?" Jacob asked Kody. How did I just know that would happen. Kody is Jacob's best, and possibly only friend. He's 16 like the rest of us, and as tall as Jacob, but he looks 14.
After a few more rounds, moslty consiting of truth, and only 1 dare to poke the teacher with something slimly, which did nothing, it finally came around to me. "Okay Adam, truth or dare?" Jenna asked me. This was what I had been hoping for. I don't know Jenna very well. Although she was about 5'4', 100 pounds, average body shape, she had a reputation for being quite mischievous some days. "Dare."
"Well now, what should I make your dare?" As she asked this, I "secretly" glanced over at the ducttape for a few seconds, making sure she saw my eyes widen just that little bit. "Ohh, I know. Here, Kody, pass me that roll of ducttape."
