Any Fresher's week tie ups

Any stories with girls getting tie up for fun or initiation or games during Fresher's week (which is starting for UK universities and probably has started long ago for US colleges)?

If it's considered hazing, that's illegal in 44 of the 50 states.

Remember the scene in National Lampoon's Animal House and the initiation of pledge Chip Diller? He wasn't tied but was told to "assume the position" as a large paddle came down on his keyster. He would say "Thank you Sir, may I have another?" with his voice rising an octave after each whack.

That took place in 1962 (just like American Graffiti), things were different back then. Chip was played by Kevin Bacon in his first film role.

Oops, sorry jsherwood, I try not to be U.S.-centric in my posts. When I post if I include outdoor temperatures I'll include Farenheit and Celsius. I try to be kind to the reading audience.

I also know the common term for college in the U.S.is university elsewhere. I remember a commercial (advert) for the Best Buy big box electronic store chain. Several years ago they showed a dad with his kids at the dinner table. The dad says "So, you getting ready to go back to college?" Took a trip to Canada that month and saw the same commercial for Best Buy of Canada. It featured the same actors at the dinner table only dad says "So, you getting ready to go back to university?" T.T.

The term college in the US means it can award A Bachelor's degree and a Master's. Only a University and award a Doctorate.
If you believe in yourself enough -
nobody else will figure out you're faking it.

In everyday conversation, most people use the terms interchangeably.

There are some stories on the old archives if you look in the College/University section.
