Sex Ed

Postby hrrrumph » Sat Sep 20, 2014 10:25 pm

I heard recently about school-issued health books discussing TUGs and all that. I'm not sure if it's being really part of what the teachers present though (maybe if they're asked specifically). What are your opinions on this? I remember hearing one person point out that teenagers know about this kind of thing anyway more than ever, so teach them to be safe and all... doesn't sound bad, but I still have the feeling that some things should be left more for self-discovery and that I don't know if schools are much better to teach than anyone else. And teaching about this stuff is probably just catering to the minority (a substantial amount though, it really depends on what you're teaching about). Another thing I've wondered is, how do people find out about our interest, when they're not into it themselves? Is it more common now?

Hear from which school in which country and at what age?

I can't remember the name of the school (there was more than one such story), but it's in the US and the students were probably around fifteen.

Really, one can find many examples out in the open in books, on TV, and in the movies.

I mean, I could have guessed, but I wanted to ask that question anyway.
