The two boys were standing outside the car, staring angrily at each other. They were both dressed in cut-off jeans and white t-shirts. They were also wearing thick diapers, because they wouldn’t be allowed to use the rest room, where they were going.
“I want that one!” 12 year old Dean said.
“No, I want it! Give it to me!” his twin brother Rick said.
“I’m the oldest, so I get to choose first, and I chose this one. But you can have the other one!”
“You’re older only by about fifteen minutes. And I want THAT one too. SIIIIIS!”
“What are you two boys fighting over this time? Huh?” 18 year old Amanda said. “Are you two arguing over the safety –harnesses again? You know they’re pretty much identical; so why the same squabble, each time you have to wear them?”
“No, they’re not identical at all; see?” Dean held up one of the harnesses. “On this one, you have the wrist-cuffs in front, but on this one,” he held up the other one, “you’re forced to have your wrists cuffed by your side the whole time! AND the ankle-cuffs on this (the first harness) are positioned much more comfortably!”
“We really don’t have time for this!” Amanda growled, grabbed the harnesses, gave Dean the one with the ankle-cuffs in front, and gave Rick the other, put her hands to her sides and said: “You put them on NOW; or I’ll leave you here, and tell aunt Betty to come and watch you! Would you like that?”
“No, sis.” The boys said in unison looking sheepish, and did as she told them. When they were buckled, tightly but safely (one strap over each shoulder, one around the waist, and finally one between the legs) in their seats, and had their hands cuffed to the harnesses and their feet to rings mounted to the floor of the car, she put padded braces which were high enough to also cover their mouths and ears completely, around their necks. It was designed in such a way it prevented any movement of the head. This, of course, meant the boys were forced to look straight ahead until she took the braces off.
“If they hadn’t started arguing, I wouldn’t have been forced to put them on.” she thought.
After a two hour drive to a mall, Amanda stopped the car, took two long straps from the glove compartment, and opened the door on Deans’ side first. She unbuckled the harness and his ankles, but left his wrists still in the cuffs and the neck brace still in place. She clipped one of the straps to the back of his car-seat harness, and went around the car and did the same to Rick. Then, she wound the straps around her own left wrist, and off they went.
Rick and Dean soon realized their sister was going to visit just about every shop, small as well as big, in there, and if he had been able to, Dean would have started whining after about fifteen minutes. Instead, hoping Amanda would lose interest soon, he walked as slowly as he could, which only resulted in her yanking his lead and her hissing in his ear:”Get a move on, will you! I want to look in as many shops as I can, before I meet the others!”
Dean moaned. “Meeting the others” meant she was going to meet her girl-friends, which meant quite a lengthy stay at the coffe shop, and more walking around shops.
“Oh, please don’t let the others show up. Please! Please fix it, so they have a car failure of some sort or misread the time, or whatever! Or at least, make it so this agony will be as short as possible!” he begged the Powers Above.
But, of course they all showed up, and all of them sat down and slowly drank their cups of coffee, to have plenty of time to listen to the latest gossip. All of them, except Dean and Rick, who had to remain standing the whole time, that is.
Amanda was asked why the boys were present at an all-girls’ gathering, and why they were harnessed and gagged.
“No one was willing to look after them while I was here,” Amanda answered with a shrug, “so I had no choice but to take them along. I gagged them, because didn’t want you to have to listen to them moaning and groaning all the time; the harnesses are there to prevent them taking a bus back home, the first chance they get. I cuffed their hands so they can’t take their harness off by themselves.”
“Smart thinking, Mandy; smart thinking, indeed!” the others agreed.
When they left the cafeteria, they went for a casual stroll around the shops, looking and trying on a vast number of different clothes, and it wasn’t until another three hours had gone that they all said they had had enough, and went home.
The boys were glad to be strapped back in their seats, as they knew they were heading home.
Back home, Amanda first carefully put all the things she had bought where they belonged, before letting her brothers out of the car. She took them to the bathroom, and helped them put dry diapers on.
“Why do we have to still wear diapers?” Rick moaned.
“Because I want you to, that’s why.” Amanda coldly replied. She took the cuffs from the harnesses and cuffed her brothers’ hands behind their backs, and told them they would remain like that, until bed-time.
When it was time for them to go to bed, they discovered she had put the harnesses in their beds, so they would have to not only wear the diapers but also be harnessed in bed.
“I put the harness there,” she told Dean and then Rick, “so you won’t be able to get out of bed at night, causing mischief.” She even put their neck-braces back on, before turning out the lights and saying “good night, sweet dreams!”
