Tied up as a punnishment?

Postby kaztie » Wed Sep 19, 2012 6:31 am

I know this might seem like rewarding bad behaviour, but has anyone ever been tied up (by parents, babysitters, etc) to punnish any bad behaviours.

I would hope what happened to Tyler McMillan is (apart from having nothing to do with this board or TUGS) an extreme example of psychotic murderers torturing their child to death in one of the most barbaric ways imaginable and not "common practice" to discipline unruly children.

You should have included a link for those of us who don't know who you're talking about or (considering its been years since the incident) have forgotten the name. Here's one link here for a refresher:

In my case btw I got tied up a lot by my older brother, my two older cousins, and various friends - sometimes as 'punishment' but usually just for kicks. My parents did not approve in my brother's case and put a stop to it; they never knew about my cousins and the others and most certainly did not do such a thing themselves. I am sure they'd have been utterly horrified at such an idea.

In today society, punishment has standards and this is one of them. Never experienced it. But, my buddies who grew up with me did tie me up after I made a mess in the living room during a birthday party and refused to clean it up so they picked me up and carried me to the guest bedroom. They restrained my hands and feet to the four corners of the bed. They left me there as the party went on. Occasionally, people would tickle my feet, stomach, and underarms and I would be laughing, begging and pleading for them to stop but they ignored me. They would smash things such as pies, cakes, and more into my face. They will dump itching powder in between my toes, under my arms, on my nipples to cause it to maximize the agony of it. Finally, they would use ice cubs sliding it all over my body. That is the extent of being tied up as punishment as I went through.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

You're right Jason - sorry folks!

I'm no angel, and I'm the first to admit I can be a "typical big sister" to Matt sometimes, but I could never do anything as cruel as that to Matt or any other human being.

I thought I heard all the stupid Southern stereotypes before, but I have to admit, Deep South parents tying their kids to trees is a new one even for me.

I just read what you wrote Jay lol that must have been some mess you made...
Some mess indeed.
Why didnt they tie you up until you signed a contract that you'd clean up the mess?

They probably watched World War Two films set in the Pacific or Korean War films. Tying someone to a pole in the blazing tropical sun was the most common "punnishment" used by the Japanese and Koreans.

What could Tyler have possibly done to deserve such a fate?

Who says he deserved it? NO ONE deserves that! Especially from his own family! :?

I was living with some friends just after I got out of the army and didn't have a job so I made a deal that I wold let them handcuff me to a chair for an hour a day till I fond work. It was a long 3 months but fun.

It was rhetorical question -no one deserves to be tortured to death in such a cruel and inhuman way.
