King's Court

Chapter 1

There was a prince living in a small country named Topekia in a planet called Divin. He is the charmest of all princes at the age of 12. He gained the title when his father was unable to continue his duties due to personal obligations, so it was passed down to his son. His name is Charles and he was highly unusual in the sense that he was taller then most of his friends. His hair was spiked due to a hair treatement he decided to undergo. There was a battle scar on his right cheek from battling a tyrant that threatened to destroy the kingdom and expose a conspiracy and Charles could not allow that to happen so he fought as the youngest prince in history to not only ride a horse, but defeat a man in just his 1st year of duty.

On a chilly summer morning, the king summoned all the followers to a private meeting about Charles. They gathered to promote the young boy to a higher authority known as the divine prince, but something was admiss. Charles was unusally late to the predetermined meeting held every second tuesday of each month and the last tuesday of each month, so they were forced to wait for him, but none of them could anticipate what was going to happen next. Charles did not realize that daylight savings time meant that he had to reset his clocks back one hour, and it hindered his progress. When he did get onto his feet and started walking to the meeting room, he was suddenly grabbed from behind as two man held his arms and twisted it behind his back. He gave out a long frightening yell, which echoed throughout the castle. His protectors rushed to his aid and saw the commotion in the main hallway and tried to protect young Charles, but it was in vain. A small tranquailizer dart shot out and struck the protectors as they collapsed in the heap of the battle. Charles could not stop the inevitable tying of his small hands as he was forcibly put into the back of a small wagon fit for his size. It was almost like the people had planned it out carefully prior to this date, but who new who was really capable of this scheme. As Charles was in the back, he tried to escape by jumping out of the wagon, but his captors had thought he would, and a vine retracted and snared his small and tender ankles and bound them together. The mechanism forced Charles to sit back and just ponder the moment of his predicament. This is the first time that he had been kidnapped and it was scary for his mind to comprehend.

The meeting was adjorned and it was apparent that Charles never showed up. The high advisors went to his room to check on him, but he was not there. Being concerned, the king ordered the castle to be put on high alert as they rushed to find the boy. As they did, the wagon offically stopped in front of another castle known as "Dark Palace". The wagon was pushed into the gates of the castle as he hollered trying to get some help, but the area was quite isolated and no one heard him. As he was pushed alongside the corridor, he noticed pictures of young boys of his age in their still life frames. He was shocked when he realized that the castle's main king was headed by a 13 year old boy named Francis. Francis was a perlicular odd fellow as he perferred to stay in his room in solitude and only came out to eat and host meetings. When he saw how cute Charles was, he thought to himself, it will be a fun evening.

Chapter 2

To his surprise, Charles was not removed from the wagon. Francis specifically requested that his captive remain bound to the wagon as he torment him to the fullest extent. Charles could not anticipate the outcome of the tortures he was about to endure at the hands of the evil 13 year old kid. The kidnappers removed the restraints from his hands, only to retie them to a bar above his head in the wagon. Charles pleaded with Francis to let him go, but by the expression on the other boy's face, it was not going to happen.

Francis noticed the position that his captive was in. Not only was his hands exposed and up, his cute feet was straight out horizontally giving Francis total access to the feet. Charles had a secret weakness that he had kept hidden. He was not ticklish, but he feared people doing a specific thing to his feet. Francis might had done his research because he got out itching powder and poured it on the soles of the feet, missing every crucial spots including in between the toes, and on his heel and arches. This was torture for Charles because he could not endure an itch as he sat there comprehending his fate.

He was not focusing on upsetting the king, but rather, he tried to reason with him peacefully. He even offered his entire castle if he would be set free, but Francis shook his head. Francis idea of fun was to break down every captive during the annual meetings so that they would be fired and he would be the only strong ruler left in the world. Many boys had suffered similar fates as young Charles, but Francis made some mistakes.

He did not take into account the people who had protected Charles since he was a young baby. It all happened when he was abandoned and left in a doorstep of a church. He was dehydrated and hungry beyond comprehension of the human mind. He was weak and febble, and almost died until he was taken in by the preacher, who became his parents. After raising him to good health, they became kings and queens in the royal chamber, and has since been able to protect him from anything that gets in their way.

Back at the castle, the king reviewed the security tape, and noticed that the kidnappers had left distinctive clues. During the scuffle, one of them dropped a red feather that had blue lines in it diagonally. The king had a forensic team, so he sent it to them to be analyzed. They would need at least an hour to come up with a solution to the problem. Another evidence was apparent when the kidnappers had pushed Charles in the wagon. They had left skid marks which was also complied into a computer of vehicle databases to be compared to many types of vehicles.

In the meantime, Charles was not safe from Francis as he proceeded to another torture technique. He started tickling the soles of his feet. However, when he did not receive a response from the boy, he was disheartened. He changed his game play to one that would shock Charles. He started tattooing Charles with a symbol of the rival castle, and in the case that this happened, Charles would have to be the slave of Francis until he is either rescued or die in the castle. However, the members of the royal chamber refused to let this happen, as they had a hit on the vehicle CODIS, but will it be enough to save Charles?

Chapter 3

The CODIS System matched a small wagon by the Brickshare company and it had flat white lines separated by mini-stars and other items. The king was sastified by the match because it narrowed down the playing field to finding Charles, but even with this new information, they knew that it would still be a long and difficult case.

At Francis Castle, Charles was contiuning to be tormented by Francis, and it would get worse. After allowing his captive to get a rest with a nice glass of water, he resumed to his devious ways. In the break, Francis had prepared hot coals that had the capabilities of being extremely hot to handle for a young kid. He placed the coals on his bare soles, causing him to scream in agonizing pain. Desperation kicked in, and his spirits was dashed. He stuggled to escape, but he was securly fastened to the wagon, and there was nothing that he could do about it. Than, the torture was taken up another level when two more coals was slammed and held there on his palms. He now suffered extreme burns, and it was more painful. His face turned red like volcanic ash flowing down a mountain. Communication was lost, as Charles passed out at the torture.

At the other castle, they got another lead. The enhanced photos was enough to tell a story. Two guys was standing over the boy and they had distinctive tattoos that was visible in the video. He was in the midst of a heated confrontation as they had hastily grabbed him, but their clothing fibers had dropped on the floor. It was sent to the lab, and the results was startling. The fibers matched 19 year old Patrick and 18 year old Dan, who was good friends with Charles. No one could figure out why he was held against his will by his beloved friends and family. The king ordered a massive manhunt through helicopters and cars searching for the old Brickshare Castle.

The case would be hindered by a number of problems. After doing research on the castle, they discovered that it was protected by laser grids, motion detectors, and hounds. To make matters worse, traps was also hidden in the castle. There was titles which activates devices that bind people to the walls, secure them to stocks and have their feet tickled, and being forced to be dropped into hot rooms with flames.

Chapter 4

Francis decided to call in his loyal servants Buck and Gug into the torture session, and they known as the Breakers and as their name implies, they can break people into submission through their methods that cannot be explained. They started by forcing the captive to eat marshmallows and every one of them formed a uncomfortable position in his mouth. He was stuffed with so many of them that he was unable to communicate with his tormentors and he was feeling sick. He threw up on the suspects feet and it ended the torture

At the other castle, the king devised a plan to storm the enemy castle. They had a first line of attack was a series of foot soliders and then there was the calvary division which consisted of horseman. The third offensive line was the archers followed by the 4th unit of hunters, that focused on tying up enemies and bringing them to a steel cage that is attached to a lift. Each of the cages could hold plenty of prisoners and they would hoisted up to mock the Brickshare castle and force them to surrender. The defensive team was unique. In the frontline was stun squadron which had disabling tranquilizers which ideally put people to sleep. The second line had impressive group known as trap disablers who would locate and deactivate traps around the castle. The 3rd line featured a team known as the punishers who would knock out potential people who gets in the way or tries to stop the defensive line, and they are like bouncers guarding the entrance of clubs and highly secret events. Finally, there was helicopter troops who will attempt to drop down from the air and hopefully land on opposing forces. The king believes that the enemy would be taken by surprise.

At Brickshare Castle, Gug proceeded to releasing a device called the claw. It resembles a small device known exclusively as a stimulator of pain. The victim would not be able to perceive reality from deception. He attached the claw to Charles chest and it worked its magic. Charles screamed with pain as the claw, in his mind, sliced portions of his skin. It was a combination of a knife and burning sensation unlike any other, as he hurting mentally. There was nothing that he could do to stop the pain of the device, as he lay there in fear. He could not anticipate that it was not really happening to him. The device was sneaking into his brain cells and alterting his perception of things. All of a sudden, he could hear voices in his head, but he could not understand them at all. It was like a friend of his was telling him that everything would be okay, but he did not know whether he could trust it or not, as he drifted into a peaceful bliss.

In the dream, he was in the middle of a tranquail forest near his hometown. There was flowers surrounding him, and birds chriping in the background. The wind was calm as the plants and trees stay in place. Charles was walking down a long and brown path of a sidewalk going through the forest. He was not in pain and his arms was swinging by his sides. At that moment as he approached a fork in the road, he could see two things. First, on the left fork, he noticed a sign that says peace, and on the other fork, a sign spelled out security. He remembered that his castle values security and peace. Suddenly, the ground started to rattle hard as he was losing his balance. He was dropped into the middle portion, which had apparently disappeared. When he fell, a large orb appeared and showed him a video of him being brutally tortured and humuliated in the wagon. He asked himself, "What is this?, and Why am I there?. Then, a secondary orb appeared, and it showed his father speaking out to him. He said to his son, "Do not lose faith for help is coming". Charles was glad, and when he returned to reality, he realized that he is going to be okay.

As soon as his dream finished, the claw was removed from his skin. Buck approached him, and asked him a question. Do you feel like your hopes has been shattered? Charles shook his head, and simply said "No because I will be saved". This answer shocked everyone including Francis as he could believe how somene could go through his tortures and show not sign of fear or sadness. He was growing intensetly frustrated as time went on, so he switched his methods of interrogation. "You will never see your family or friends again" said Francis. Well, I will, and there is nothing that you could do about it" replied Charles. Francis called off his servants and left the room stomping his feet like a grown up dinosaur and hastily left the room without saying a word, but deep down, he was not happy with the current situation, but when he looked outside, he was dumbfounded to see an entire army posed to strike the Brickshare Castle and with it, the only chance to save the life of Charles. He heard everyone saying how he is a terrible king and then the stroming started.

The foot soliders advanced to the castle gate, and although it was locked and secured, it was no match for the combined power of the soliders as they fired the first shots at the gate until it collapsed in a heep. The gate was so poorly designed from the beginning without the assiastance of Francis since he was not allowed to attend the meeting, but it would be the beginning of a war between The Royal Chamber and Brickshare Castle.

Chapter 5

Thinking fast, the foot soliders hid behind a tree and climbed up it to the castle. They saw an open window, and broke into it, but once their feet landed on the cold and concrete floor, something happened. There feet was snared by vines, and they were forced up aganist a wall, and their limbs was outstretched like an eagle to every corner of the wall. In the scenario, this is what they looked like.
dungeon.jpg

It took them moments to realize that they had fallen into one of the traps set against them. However, it was just a bondage trap, so they would not be tortured, but it would still hinder their progress in saving Charles, who had just started to recover from what he had endured. After the fiery torture, a new stage was emerging. Buck walked over to the back of the boy, and started to paint him with a paint brush all over his back hitting the smaller regions as best as he can, and when he was done, it said the words "Slave to the Brickshare Castle, a boy with weakness". However, he was not done yet, as he painted more words and it seemed to dazzle the king. Gug, however, stood there laughing like a little baby because he rememered that he used to receive the same treatment when he was a child. Although he never told anyone, he was also 12 when the same treatments was applied to him when he was kidnapped from The Knight Title Castle. Buck was the only legitimate member of the Brickshare Castle other than Francis. Charles could not understand the situation that he was in because he went from feeling pain to something more peaceful.

The foot soliders restrained to the wall was taken out of action, and it launched the horseman who raced into the back entrance of the castle, but just before they did, they noticed that the titles was all decorated with red crosses, and they deduced that it was the lava traps that their king had warned them about, so they had to disable it, so they called in the trap jammers in an effort to secure the perimeter. They went to work quickly, but it would take hours to shut them off, so the team concentrated on finding an alternative solution.

They sneaked up to the left side of the castle, but was immediatly attacked by the enemy archers perched on the roof. Two of the arrows struck their targets causing agonizing and extruciating pain that forced the attackers to disband from the scene, but the ones who escaped had to take shelter in a old shack until they could figure out how to stop the archers. Their hopes seemed to be answered when a helicopter pilot flew over the castle and dropped nerotoxins which blinded the archers giving the horseman enough time to streak past the defenders, and access the castle. However, the laser grids was activated, so they used their high galloping speed to jump over them to reach the end, where they made a disturbing discovery. It was another trap, this time in the form of a deep drop into a dark abyass and they could proceed no further.

Chapter 6

With the minor setback, Charles had to await to be rescued yet again, but there was hope for him. At the scene of the torture, he faced the impossibility, but he also had another secret. About one years ago, he faced another challenge that would change his life. He was hopelessly lost during a school field trip when he was accidentally overslept during their annual camping trip, but in spite of this, he found hope and comfort when he stumbled into a church and found great happiness when the preacher brought it upon himself to share scripture with him and since that day, he was able to believe in miracles and this was no expection. He sat there waiting for the moment of opportunity to arise from the dreadful situation. However, Francis was still being a nosy boy as he moved on to another torture. He went back to his bag that he used earlier, and took out a razor and shaving cream, and this made Charles a bit upset because his alluxiuary hair had just started to develop on his armpits, and he wanted to keep it intact, but now it was impossible as Francis started to slowly shave every square inch of Charles' armpit hair. Charles started to be really nosy as he screamed and wailed loudly than he ever done before, and it served a purpose as his rescuers heard him from a distance, but could not find the exact path to get to him. However, it also irritiated his captors, and for the first time since he had been captured, he was cleave gagged with a cloth, and he was offically silenced during the remainder of his ordeal. Francis was not finished with his captive, and it showed through his burning eyes of passion as he wanted the royal chamber so bad, that he was overpowered with greed and selfishness and he was the only one. He had brainwashed his servants and parents into allowing him to do this.

Meanwhile, the rescue team had found a possible area of advancement. They found a secret passageway by accidentally stepping on a ground switch. It created a bridge into the dark aybass, and it was horrific to bear the insanity created by the simple act. It is true that they created a path, but it also released a wave of terror because a dragon appeared and tried to smother them in molten hot lava, and so it would be a battle to remember. Luckily for them, the calvary also invested their time in buying swords, so they seemed to be well prepared. They hid behind a rock and watched as the dragon launched its flame attack, and they moved from rock to rock. At one point, one of the members popped out and slashed the dragon's feet, but it did nothing in terms of actual damage except for a small scratch. He was forced to retreat back to the starting rock. The dragon launched a fireball at one of the rocks, and it heated up to extreme temperatures, forcing the hidden rescue team to escape from the rock before it exploded and shattered. With their safety spots no longer safe, the team was forced to move to plan B. They stood together holding hands in a circle, and threw their swords as high as they can, and it pierched the dragon's eyes, throat, and ears. There was an uproar from the dragon as it launched one final weak flame attack before it collapsed in a heap, as it died in front of the team. The team rejoiced for the moment, but it was short lived as they crossed the bridge to the other side and encountered another creature.

Francis was getting annoyed that his captive had not given in and give up control of the castle to him. So, as agitiated as he was, there was something he had to do to put a end to the pathetic attempts of the boy to be strong as a rock. He left the room, but not before heavily bolting the door. He walked nearly to the end of the hall before he entered the second door to the end on his left, and inside this room was three cupboards where he found an answer to his problem. He opened the middle one and found a orb which contained a piece of paper. Inside the paper was a small ball but it was live and moving. Francis returned to the room, unlocked the room, and put the ball on the boy's feet. As soon as he did, the ball released wires and stuck to the boy's skin as he could only imagine what was going to happen to him, but even his mind could not foresee what could happen next.

After barely surviving a dragon attack, the rescue team was confronted with another creature. It was a robotic droid with a bomb attached to its chest set to explode in 2 minutes, and this time the bridge that had protected them collapsed when they took their first step on the other side, so they had to disarm it before it takes all of them to a shocking death.

Chapter 7

Thinking fast, the trap disarmers decided to destroy the robot until they noticed the circuits and realized that it was a terrible idea since one hit would activate the explosive, so their options was limited. At the time, no one knew what to do, but with the clocking ticking down to disaster, they had to make a good decision or they would die at the hands of the robot. Suddenly, one of the members had an idea in the nick of them. He ordered the team to push the robot, and with their combined strength, it was successful. The bomb was the only real weight of the robot and the rest of it was a piece of junk, so it was an easy task at hand. The robot dropped into the river below and exploded without harming the other people.

Francis, however, was not finished with Charles, but his grin told a story of horror to come. Charles was now dwindling on the past, before he was a captive to this monsterous boy. He remembered sitting in the lawn with his friends playing nerf tag and he would always lead his team to victory each time they played. He could recall being lifted and thrown in the air by his friends, and fishing in the great outdoors. He was deprived of these moments and it was simply not able to be forgetten as he wished he was out there as a normal kid instead of being at the mercy of another kid, so he prayed to Jesus that he would be saved soon.

Francis took control when he knew all of Charles weaknesses before he even arrived at the castle. He was overpowered with jeaously and lust and it would prove to be his downfall in this endeavor. His defenses was just as childish as he was and it showed since none of his traps had worked so far, but there was one more left and it was facing him in combat, but unlike any other since it involved tugs, but until it arises, he was still a weak and feeble boy. His older friends fell under his spell due to his persuasive techniques, but he had no success with Charles because he underestimated the kid from the outside and never noticed his intelligence growing with every second of torture.

Charles heard a bang at the door, and to his relief, it was his friends from the royal chamber castle, and Francis was taken by surprise that he was outsmarted by the leaders of the other castle, but then again, it did not really faze him, so he just stood there and to the dismay of all the people in the room, he transformed into a gigantic breed of a creature none had seen before as vines shot out from his chest, and tried to ensnare the people attempting to rescue their friend

Final Chapter and Suggestions

Francis looked scary from this viewpoint, and the rescue team knew it would be a difficult battle. They noticed that the vines can only eject from the ground and cannot go up or down, so they declared it a weakness of Francis. Charles meanwhile, was starting to get really excited about the team braverly in conquering all the traps set by the young kid, but he was now concerned that his battle squadron would fall under the might of the frecious form of his captor.

The first person advanced and used his sword to slash the vines, but to his dismay, it did not work as it was coded with a metallic material which made it stronger then steel, and it was a major set back. Before he had time to launch another attack, he was unable to prevent his ankles being trapped by the vines as it double wrapped around them. He fell to a shocking heap and was thus taken out of action. The second person with the horse was stubborn to advance further and retreated to the disheart of his friends.

There was only two people left and they decided to go forward with defeating the creature, and this time it was crazier than before because the creature had a heart of ice, as it tried to capture the reamining members by ejecting more vines, but it was unable to break the bond between the king and the royal members, so they managed to defy the inevitable by not only dodging the attack, but formulating a new plan. The 3rd attacker ran up to the creature, but he found his legs bound by Francis, but it was only a diversion so the last rescuer could sneak up behind the creature and disable it by configuring the system.

Francis was in disbelief as he was reverted back to his human form. The vines constricting the breathing of the remainder members was destroyed. Francis was handcuffed and led away by the rescue team. Charles had suffered mentally, physically, and emotionally, but he was now a free man. He had many stories to tell when he returned to the royal castle. He even picked up a device, but he did not realize it was a mistake, but we'll save that for another story.

The End
