Baseball

Baseball is a great sport
It does not get better than a scenario happening right now.
Rays own the wild card lead for the 1st team that will make the playoffs
The Indians are behind by 2 games for the last wild card spot
The Rangers are 1 game behind the Indians
At the end of the weekend, any two teams in the AL can own that spot
Baseball is exciting prior and after the postseason.
Just thinking that at one time, Rangers had 2.5 game lead over the A's but lost it on a poor September and is now in danger of not making the playoffs.
So, baseball is great.
Do you like baseball, and if so, why do you like baseball?

I don't. Because I think it's boring.

Unbelievable! The Angels are now down 5-2 against the Rangers which puts more pressure on the Rays and Indians to win should the Rangers hold on to this lead and win the game.

I like that the Cardinals are in the NLCS again.

Seriously, there are few things more tense in sports than a close baseball game with runners in scoring position late in a game.

Can the Dodgers upset the Cardinals?

They certainly can, especially if the Cardinals don't get consistent offense, as they had trouble against the Pirates. I think the Cardinals should win the series.

The Cardinals and the Dodgers are an interesting contrast. During the regular season, St. Louis took two of three from the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium, while the Dodgers won three of four at Busch Stadium. The Dodgers' ace, Clayton Kershaw, suffered two of the three Dodger losses. If the Dodgers win it, they'll do it in six games. If the Cardinals win it, it will take them all seven.

If the visiting team wins in this series too, the Cardinals are screwed, since they have home-field advantage.

What about the Red Sox versus the Tigers game?
By the way, Verlander pitched well last night, he was very impressive.
