TuG Audio Dramas

Postby WAMGuy » Mon Oct 27, 2014 1:10 pm

Heya! I hope that I've put this in the right place.

Does anyone know if there are any TuG-related audio dramas?

Check into this, it's a pretty decent story, and very good voice acting.

Scene starts around the 13:00 mark.

I don't know if it's just me, but I get a 403 Forbidden page when I click on that link, so unfortunately I can't check it out.

Thanks very much for trying, though!

I also use Mozilla Firefox. However, unless Soul rebel just edited the link or something I am having no trouble at all hearing the audio.
Perhaps you should try again; the problem might have been temporary and since been cleared up (after all, this was over three weeks ago that all of you said your attempts failed).
If you still have trouble, maybe need an updated version of Firefox.
Or maybe it depends on where you live. Soul rebel and I both live in the US, while xtc lives in Britain - but I don't know where WAMguy is.

Yeah, I'm UK too, and I have the latest Firefox, so I think it's probably a regional thing.

If you or anyone else knows a way I can download the specific episode so I can repost in a format you can access, I'd be willing to give it a try. However, from what I've heard of the episode, it's no real big deal. You can do better just watching episodes of The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, if you ask me.

Sorry people are having trouble with this. Try google searching and getting in that way. "Boston Blackie episode 129."

I disagree toddman, the gag talk is extraordinary, and the dialogue can be pretty hilarious.

Well, I do admit I only listened to part of it and even that part with only half an ear, as I was preoccupied with something else.
Mainly I just wanted to see if *I* could access it; nothing more. The kind of TUG involved in that story is not one of the kinds I'm all that interested in, so I'm probably biased.

Thanks for that, Soul Rebel! Do you happen to know the name of the episode, just so I'm certain I've got the right one?

It's called Death Wish, because the bad guy in this episode is apparently trying to get himself killed.
