Lets not jump the gun, they may have misinterpreted the rules of TUGS!!! and may think its ok, you should never judge people base on what they say at least they know now that it is wrong!!! they do not need pyschiatric help!!! The example you have given regarding Tyler's parents, there is a lot of issues surrounding that to why they did it, and yes they definately do need help, but Tyler's case and the opinions made by Amanda and iM_A_SLAVE_GIRL, are two completely different situations!!! They may have been saying it as a joke or as said misinterpreted the concept (meaning) of TUGS!!! rightfully so i can see why you were thinking this and how you came up to putting the two together, but i can safely say that they now know that torture is for fun only, and all torture proceedings should be done with accuracy and they acknowlege, the precautions needed!! Putting someones health at risk for one, is not a good idea, as Nuclearo said in his reply, sunburn does not only become painful to the person over the coming days after, it also can damage long term, I think your bound prisoner wouldnt want to remember a tie up, because he got skin cancer from it!! all torture and all things regarding the play of TUGS need to be used and enforced so that it is playful and fun as well as maintaining health and safety of your bound "prisoner"!!
Hope I havent waffled on too much, but hope it helps!!
cheers
