It helps that I probably have more free time than you would as a teacher, Snobound - except maybe during the summer.
Chapter 52 – An Unusual RewardOnce he had his emotions (which had gone through quite an upheaval in the last few minutes!) as much under control as anyone could reasonably expect of him under the circumstances, Thad released his brother from his embrace and turned to the mysterious white-haired boy to thank him. He almost expected the boy to have vanished as quickly as he’d come (isn’t that what always happened in fantasies? The Lone Ranger; I didn't even get a chance to thank him?), but the boy was still standing just a few feet away from him; arms folded across his chest and looking at Thad in expectation.
“I sure am grateful for what you did for Chad,†Thad said to the boy as he walked hesitantly up to him with his hand held out for a handshake, which the other boy took readily took. My God; that kid had a grip like iron! Thad had to shake it a little afterward to get the circulation flowing into it again afterward. “Uhhh… is there anything I can do for you in return?â€
“There is one thing you can do, though you might think it to be an odd request,†replied the white-haired boy with a wry smile.
“Just name it! I’ll do whatever you ask me to!†Thad replied eagerly and sincerely.
“Well, *my* brother and I have had differences that make your differences with your brother seem like nothing,†said the boy. “So could *I* be your brother too for today?â€
“Well, heck… sure you can!†replied Thad happily.
“Then would you be willing to treat me exactly the way you treat your real brother as well?†the other boy continued.
Thad’s smile changed to a look of slight puzzlement. “Uhhh… I’m not sure I follow you. You don’t mean that you want me to… uh… to…â€
“Would you tie me up and sit on me for a few hours?†the white-haired boy asked boldly, but very politely - removing all doubts as to what he meant. “Please? Your friends and brother too?â€
Thad just stared at him in wide-eyed, slack jawed amazement.
“That’s a pretty odd request all right,†Henry said levelly; he acted as if he wasn’t at all surprised by the request.
“Well, at least he’s asking for something you guys have plenty of experience doing,†Chad remarked with a chuckle.
“Someone who *wants* us to sit on him without being forced into it? This could be pretty interesting!†remarked Jim with a dry chuckle.
Thad finally nodded in mute agreement, picked up one of the handcuffs which had been used to bind Chad (and which somehow wound up discarded on the ground during the miracle that restored his brother to life) and stepped toward the boy with them. The white-haired boy obliged by turning away from Chad and crossing his wrists behind his back. Meanwhile, Jim picked up the leg hobbles and approached as well.
“Are you sure you want us to go all the way?†Thad asked as he hesitantly handcuffed the boy; he had never imagined doing this to anyone else but his brother before!
“Oh yes!†replied the boy as Jim locked the hobbles around his ankles. “Please give me the works. Do everything to me that you’ve been doing to Chad!â€
“Everything?†Chad exclaimed in surprise. “You mean, even take all of our clothes off?â€
“I’m already halfway there,†called out Jim, who was sitting on a stump and pulling his pants off; he’d already removed his shirt.
The other boys soon followed suit, carefully laid their ‘prisoner’ on the grass, and sat on him one by one; Thad sitting knees-up on his chest, Chad sitting likewise on his shins, and the twins kneel-sitting in between them.
“Comfy?†Thad asked casually as he crossed his arms over his legs and looked down at their strange new friend.
“Oh yes! Very much so, thank you!†the white haired boy replied happily as he stared happily at a part of Thad most people never got a chance to see displayed in public.
“So, just who *are* you anyway?†Jim asked with a smile as he sat on the boy’s belly.
“*Who am I… and *Who* I am!†replied the white-haired boy with a mysterious grin.
Jim’s smile turned into a frown of bewilderment. “Huh? What?†he asked numbly.
“No! No! Not *What*!†the white-haired boy replied hastily and, apparently, seriously. “WHO! There is a very important difference!†he said in a tone that implied that he thought this was quite obvious.
It wasn’t to Jim… nor was it to the other boys on top of him. “Uhhh…. Dude? I haven’t got the slightest idea what the heck you’re talking about!â€
“I’m sorry,†the boy replied contritely. “Ummm... you may call be Dee Harold Angel.â€
Thad laughed merrily. “That’s a funny name!†he replied, but without sarcasm.
“Yes… most people I meet seem to think the same way,†Dee replied easily, apparently without feeling any offense. But then his tone turned level and serious. “But what I have to tell you is no laughing matter, Thad. I’ve come here to warn you all.â€
“Warn us?†asked Thad nervously. “About what?â€
“Exactly! What! He’s my brother!†replied Dee simply, as if that explained everything.
“Who?†asked Thad numbly.
“No, I’M Who! HE’S What!†explained Dee; a trifle impatiently now.
“Huh?†asked Thad quietly.
“No, no! HUH is my cousin!†replied Dee. “He’s got nothing to do with any of this! Just my brother, What!â€
Thad’s mind reeled a bit as he tried to make sense of all of this. Then, feeling a little put out (wondering if De was playing some kind of mind game with him), he raised his voice (more than he intended perhaps) and snapped, “What the devil are you talking about?!?â€
“Exactly!†replied Dee, who then looked up expectantly at Thad and said nothing more.
Thad stared silently back for a moment. Then he turned to look at his companions to see if they were making any more sense of this than he was. Jim just looked at him blankly with eyes even wider with puzzlement than his own and shrugged his puzzlements in an “I don’t know either†kind of way. Henry was frowning and looking angry and confused. Thad couldn’t see Chad, but could hear him plainly go, “Uhhhhhhh…â€
Thad looked back to look angrily back down at Dee and began to growl in frustration; Jim and Henry were casting angry scowls at Dee as well. Despite his gratitude to Dee, Thad hated feeling like someone was making a fool of him. So he got up on his knees, turned around to face the others sitting astride Dee, and hovered with his naked butt mere inches above Dee’s face.
“Dude!†Thad said warningly to Dee. “If you don’t start making sense RIGHT NOW, then – gratitude or not – I’m gonna sit right down on your face and FART!â€
Threatening Dee with such a thing was like threatening to buy a child candy or waving a steak in front of a hungry dog, and Thad got a similar reaction as well. “All right, I’ll try…†Dee answered with a smile of pure bliss on his face. “But first, please go ahead and do what you just said you were going to anyway!â€
Chad sighed with disbelief and frustration and rolled his eyes as he patiently put his weight down on Dee’s upturned face and carried out his threat; rather noisily. Chad and the other immediately jumped up and backed away from the smell, but Dee’s sigh of contentment was unmistakable.
Thad resumed his seat on Dee’s chest after a few minutes; followed slowly by the others once they were assured the air had cleared if toxic fumes. “Now then,†he said a trifle acerbically, “could we *please* have a few answers without all the riddles and any other bullshit?†he requested with weary patience.
“All right,†replied Dee mildly. “My *real* name *is* Who… but you may call me Dee as I said. My brother’s real name is *What*; but you may call him Devlin. It’s his favorite alias among... other people.â€
“This brother of yours… have I met him before?†asked Thad suddenly as a long forgotten memory of a dark-haired boy suddenly rose fleetingly into dim recall.
“Yes, once!†Dee Confirmed. “And you’ve met me once before as well. Each time in your own house, as you and other sat on Chad.â€
Suddenly Thad’s forgotten memories rose in sharp clarity. “Hey! Wait a second! I *do* remember you now! You came into my house without any damn warning at all. It was… several weeks ago, I think! You asked me to hang you up by your wrists from the ceiling, and while you hung there I blabbed everything about how I’d tied Chad up and started sitting on him. I talked my head off like I was discussing the weather or something, and thought nothing of it! Yet once I let you go… I completely forgot all about you until the next time you came to my house. But you were different somehow…â€
“No, that second time wasn’t me,†Dee clarified. “We never saw each other again after the first time until today. The dark haired boy who visited you after I did was my twin brother, What… uhhh, that is, Devlin!â€
“I remember that now!†Chad exclaimed from behind the others. “Whereas you liked to hang by your wrists while Thad told you our story, *that* mother-fucker kept sitting on my face! For hours!!! It’s a wonder I didn’t suffocate long before Thad finished telling him our life histories, for crying out loud!â€
“But this still isn’t making a whole lot of sense to me!†Thad complained. “WHY did you and your brother come to visit Chad and me? And why the heck couldn’t any of us remember either of us afterward?â€
“If I gave you a full explanation, you’d think I was crazy!†Dee replied sadly.
“Dude, you’ve already provided us with a bona fide miracle and proved that something is messing with our memories!†Thad asserted. “I’ll believe anything you say!â€
“I highly doubt that, but I’ll tell you anyway,†replied Dee with a sigh. “Okay, it’s like this… I’m an angel from Heaven, and my brother is a fallen angel from Hell.â€
The silence that followed was broken only by a gust of wind that didn’t seem very cold but which somehow chilled the naked boys down to the marrow of their bones.
“I take back what I said… you *are* crazy!†Thad said mildly.
“I told you that you wouldn’t believe me,†Dee replied with a mildly chiding tone.
“Well, who in his right mind would?†Thad asked in some exasperation. “I mean, come on? Angels? Demons? There *are* no such things!â€
“So how do *you* account for Chad’s revival?†asked Dee reasonably but with no grievance in his tone. “How do you explain the odd amnesia you pointed out yourself?â€
“Uhhhh….†Thad replied blankly.
“Can you explain why you were willing to discuss your most intimate secrets with us without hesitation?†Dee continued.
“Uhhhh…†Thad repeated dully.
“And why was a nice and otherwise normal kid like you so obsessed about keeping your own older brother a prisoner to torment just for your own personal amusement?â€
“Uhhhh….†was all Thad could think of in response.
“And why hire the twins specifically to torment him when you couldn’t be home?â€
“All right, I admit I’m puzzled!†Thad stated finally. “Suppose you tell me what you were warning me about and then I’ll decide what to believe!â€
“To put it simply, my brother instigated your actions in making your brother your prisoner,†Dee told Thad. “Quite without you realizing it, of course. You thought it was your own idea, but it wasn’t! Not really!â€
Thad was perfectly willing to believe this, as the feelings of doubt about this had been weighing on him from the moment Chad had been revived. “And just why would your brother want me to do this?†Thad asked, more curious than disbelieving.
“He gains mystical energy when he can get humans to tie up and sit on other humans against their will… just as you and your friends have been doing for months now.†replied Dee levelly. “Then he can gain even more power - *much* more – by showing up and sitting on the captive humans himself. The younger the humans, the better… as younger humans have more vital energy that he can absorb for his own.â€
“If tying up boys and sitting on them is so evil that a demon is interested in it, why’d you ask us to do the same thing to you?†asked Chad.
“To answer the second question first, I obtain power when young humans sit on *me*!†replied Dee. “My brother is strictly a top, and I’m strictly a bottom. As for the first question, it’s not evil to tie someone up and sit on them or anything else if he *wants* you to do so – as I do. But as for Chad… the situation has been quite different. You and your friends have been keeping him tied up and sitting on him against his will for a long time now!â€
“Not anymore,†Thad replied defensively. “Chad *likes*being tied up and sat on now. He told me so himself!â€
“But it hasn’t been *all* consensual, has it?†Dee asked reasonably. Thad gulped and hung his head in shame; unable to answer aloud.
“Chad had some latent desire for bondage, it’s true,†Dee continued. “You fulfilled a need he’d never known he had, but then Devlin caused you and the others to become ever harsher to him until the situation suited his purposes. It’s not all your fault!â€
“Well, it doesn’t matter anymore at any rate,†Thad asserted confidently. “I’m not going to keep Chad prisoner anymore, and nobody is gonna tie him up and sit on him again without his say-so!â€
“Devlin isn’t going to let you end it so easily, Thad,†Dee said quietly.
“So what?†replied Thad with some conviction. “He can’t make us abuse Chad anymore if we don’t want to… especially after what you’ve just told us! Right?â€
“Not quite!†replied Dee. For one thing, within ten minutes of the time I leave you, none of you will remember that this meeting ever took place! At the end of that time, you’ll wonder why you let Chad get untied. Then you and the Harris twins will tie him right back up and go back to torturing him as if none of this had ever happened!â€
“No way!†Thad exclaimed in shock. The idea of this was so appalling that he actually lost bladder control for a few seconds!
“Yes way! I *ACK!* (Splutter!) Bleah! HEY!†Dee exclaimed as his face was subjected to a golden stream. “Watch where you’re
going, Thad!!!â€
