Learning tugs

Postby Jay Feely » Sun May 04, 2014 6:42 pm

How did you learn how to tie someone up?
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

Other kids my age playing cops and robbers.

Self experimentation and some ideas from reading some 'introduction' tutorials. Never really used videos for some reason, and only ever used pics to learn from (diagrams mainly) when its a specific tie (e.g. ball tie, rope karada, ect).
Oh, a TUG! Do I have to play alone?

I grew up sailing so I've always been good with knots and rope. As for specific ties mostly just videos and stuff.

Practicing on myself, watching videos. Mostly though in my experience it's been me getting tied up :P

At first it was experimentation and a friend teaching me. Then last year I started going to a monthly rope meet and workshop where I learnt more effective ties.

Have they taught you how to tie up a kangaroo yet?

You don't tie up a kangaroo, you tie it down, sport.

(Sorry, a funny song I heard years ago)

Learning by doing...aided by some bondage seminars later on.

Funnily enough, I never really learned to tie knots and doubt I could tie someone up properly.

I can however tie myself up using cable ties.

Duct tape...no knots required.

Haha, cuffs are always a good, quick restraint. Ropes can be tricky to learn but there a few quick and easy knots for beginners. If you look around enough you'll find em :) they're fairly effective provided your sub isn't an escapologist :p

for longer terms, double lock the cuffs to prevent them from tightening and cover the keyholes with model airplane glue or the like. You have to carefully dig it out with a tool before you can get a key into it.

I like the way you think, but dang!

eric -- the best part passes in a moment. It is the look on your prisoner's face when he figures out you're gluing the keyhole shut!
As a tip though try not to get it into the keyhole ---- more over it --- it looks terrible but all the glue actually sticks to itself so after a few hours and it dries, you can probably peal most of it off with your fingernail or so. Your prisoner won't know that of course so have fun with them.

Seen many many images and videos, pretty much - if it moves, tape it so it can't move. I think if you start off using tape and then move onto rope it is easier to manipulate the sub, I just like tape because it's more inescapable (I'm not even strong enough to break a double layer of duct tape - now wrap it 10 times)

Also, if you can get bondage tape that stuff is good as it only sticks to itself - I use it to blindfold myself where duct tape would rip out hair.
