Your Start in Tie-Ups

I was wondering how everyone on here got into all of this, if you remember. For instance, when I was younger I liked a lot of adventure stories, and one of the things I liked was a damsel in distress. It always seemed very heroic to me to save a damsel in distress. I actually liked any damsel in distress story, but having the girl or woman bound and gagged seemed to make it more interesting to me, because then she was really helpless. Eventually I started to focus more and more on the bondage aspect of it.

My interest has evolved somewhat of course now that I'm much older (I had some interest in bondage as early as the age of 5 or 6 I think). I'm now also interested in being tied up myself too. I started getting interested in that when curiosity got the better of me when I was about 12 or 13 and tried tying myself up a few times. But the damsel in distress fantasy will always be with me I think. As I noted on one of my stories on the true stories forum I did play some games with one of my neighbors where she was "kidnapped" and I "rescued" her although it seemed to be more of an interest for me than her, and they were always very simply and short.

Well, anyway, the fantasy of rescuing a damsel in distress is how I got started in this. What about the rest of you?

My start in TUGs was much the same, except that I was the damsel in distress. Since I’m not into psychology, I don’t really understand the attraction (for me, that is). I think being the centre of attention has something to do with it. In the book/movie/TV show, everyone pays attention when the girl is in danger.
I’ve always been a big fan of the pirate genre, and I fantasized about being carried off by some handsome swashbuckler. (In your fantasies they’re never ugly and smelly and mean.) So it was appropriate that my very first TUG was when I was captured by pirates (my little brother and his accomplice… but hey, you take what you can get). Unlike in my stories, no hero came to save me :o(
I didn’t get to play the part until I was about 13, however, and it wasn’t long before my friends and I were too “cool” for kids’ games. So I had to improvise; and I’ve written about some of these adventures (like my escape artiste act).
I’m lucky that I have never had much trouble getting guys (and here and there a girl) to tie me up.
More recently I’ve started to delve into bona fide bondage, but strictly vanilla and preferably with a role-play aspect.

I definitely would've rescued you had I been there.

I don't really remember how old i was when i got into tie up games. My two older sisters would tie me up and see how long it would take me to get free. I never really minded because it was something i enjoyed. When we got older we stopped for about a year or two, but recently they've decided it would be fun to tie me up again.
Bound, gagged and blindfolded, all with silk scarves
