Failed TUGs

Part 1

I always wanted to play TUGs with my friends, but had trouble bringing up the concept. With my friends at school I managed to sound them out enough to know they wouldn't understand.

I had a friend, Nancy, outside of school, but I was a lot more nervous to bring up the subject with her. For one thing, her parents and my parents were friends, so there was a higher risk of it getting back to my parents. She also just seemed too innocent.

But twice I tried. The first time I proposed a game something like cops and robbers, but modified so it wouldn't sound like such a boys' game (for her sake; I didn't care myself). I don't remember the details but it involved a jail. She agreed to the game but kept modifying it until the prisoner would have full control and only pretend to be caught. I was disappointed but went along with it. I could tell she was afraid of getting trapped. I almost told her that I never intended to capture her, but was planning on letting her capture me early on. But telling her would have taken the fun out just as much as the changes to the rules did, so I gave up and played her way.

After that I didn't think I'd ever bring it up with her again. But one day she was in such a talkative mood that I thought she might be up for anything as long as long as she could keep talking...

Part 2

We were sitting on her parents' huge bed (I can't remember why we were there, of all places) and she was talking, talking, talking. While I listened I was playing with something; I can't remember precisely what it was, but it definitely had tie-up potential. I really wanted to tie my hands, but thought Nancy would think that was weird if I did it myself. But she was so focused on talking...

When she paused briefly for a breath, I handed it to her and said quickly, "Tie my hands behind my back with this."

She finished her breath and resumed talking without missing a beat, and to my delight also scooted around behind me and tied my hands. Woot!

Except she did such a terrible job that it fell off before she had gotten back to her original position.

"It didn't work," I said, again squeezing my comment in during a breath. I held it up to show her, and she (still talking) went back to do it again.

This time I figured out her mistake. "You have to tie at least two knots. A single knot won't stay in."

She had to pause her story for these instructions, but tried again with a simple double knot, then continued talking as though nothing had happened.

Shortly after returning to her original location, the knot slipped, giving me ample room to get out. *Sigh.* I could have done a better job myself! But I didn't want to interrupt her yet again, nor draw extra attention to the fact I had wanted to be tied up. So, instead, I twisted it around until it felt restrictive and just pretended...really no better than self-bondage.

Nancy kept chatting and chatting, and I played captive audience, listening with my hands behind my back and responding with appropriate head nods at the right times.

Then the door started to open...

Part 3

I panicked. I had done a decent job tangling it up, but adrenalin can be like a superpower. I got it untwisted and untangled so fast that I had my hands resting calmly in my lap by the time the door was open enough for her mom to see us. She didn't notice a thing.

She talked to us for about a minute, then left and closed the door again. Nancy (silent now) and I both stared at the door until we were sure she wasn't coming back and would be out of hearing range. Then Nancy turned to me.

"You got out of that fast."

"The knot slipped about a minute after you tied it. I was just pretending after that."

"Oh. Why didn't you say so?"

I mumbled something about not wanting to interrupt her yet again. Unfortunately I was too embarrassed by this point to bring it up again.

Alas, no real TUGs for me!

If you want to capture your "girl-prey" (IF you are "so-inclined") "WE" need to "work" on that issue!
Life's TOO short to let it pass you by by being "shy" {NOT meant to be a rhyme!}

Thanks! Unfortunately that's all there was, unless you count my ski experience (another thread). Nancy's in that one, but more as a rescuer than anything. Sort of.
