One of the drawbacks of having super-sensitive hearing is that it would be almost impossible to sneak attack me if I didn't want to be. Often when my cousins wanted to tie me up I would simply pretend to be oblivious, but inside a quiet house like ours and especially at night a true surprise sneak attack is impossible. it still is, as i live alone, am a very light sleeper, and instantly awaken to any sounds out of the ordinary (such as a mouse running around my apartment). Fortunately for my cousins however, i enjoyed their tying me up so I always let them... even though I was about as strong as both of them put together (as i was rather larger than either of them were despite being younger). They were more agile and probably had more stamina, but even their nearly-deaf mother (my aunt) sleeping downstairs would have known something was going on if I put up a fight, which i virtually never did (except for show when she wasn't around).
If someone wanted to take me down without my consent somehow however, they would have had a very hard time of it. I think that is one reason why the smaller boys we knew liked to gang up on me, and though I liked being tied up by smaller boys anyway I still made them work for it (tough only up to a point; if they were failing too badly i cut back on my resistance).
Dare to be different... and make a difference.
