A few weeks earlier...
"Well here is the file you asked for. Im not really sure why you are interested in this one, there probably isnt anything valuable behind it." Travis, my informant on the inside replied, handing me a large envelope filled with a list of names and what was worth looking for. We had met in a dusk illuminated, deserted park on a pre-arranged bench. This was his last opportunity to try and talk me out of pursuing this mystery, yet he knew it was already too late.
"Thank you Travis. I'll keep you informed." I replied, skimming the first few pages.
"Dont do anything stupid will you." Travis told me in a slightly humourous tone.
"Travis, you know me too well sometimes" i winked, replying jokingly before i departed through the west gate, Travis through the east gate. Thanks to Travis i had my intel and knew what i was hunting and where to find the keys i needed to unlock whatever was revealed as the central destination. It was a secret kept between a group of women that clearly nobody was supposed to know much about.
Back to today....
As soon as i heard of this potentisl assignment, i knew exactly how i wanted to obtain these keys from the people involved. With a backpack on my back, i hopped over the wall of a detached, isolated, 3 bedroom house on the hunt for the first woman involved.
I snuck in through the open upstairs window, She was home, i could hear sounds from down below. The beauty was that most of these women lived alone, mesning they wouldnt be missed for a day or two. I thought for a moment about how best to approach this. Heart pounding.
All of a sudden my thoguhts were interrupted, the sound of footsteps climbing the staircase gave me the pressure of a split second decision.
