Sorting the True Stories

Postby The Black Falcon » Sun Jan 27, 2013 7:50 pm

I'm curious, does anybody actually use the gender-specific subsections on the true stories section anymore? (Like M/M, M/F, etc...) I think I remember that we were supposed to sort them out, but I don't see anybody doing that anymore. I may have some true stories coming up in the near future, and I'm wondering if I should even bother putting them in the right sections if no one else does this.

Please do so, its just impossible for us to enforce. We cannot punish people for not doing so, and going story by story doing it ourselves will take forever.

Okay, then. Thanks for clearing that up.

Just to add a bit, I randomly move stories with gender specification in the title to their respective subforum, if there's just one type (Really, I have no idea how to categorize f/m turned m/f. To me it's 1, but there's no 1 category.).

If people don't specify I just take it as "Well I wanted it to be a surprise who got tied up". Sometimes it's true, even if the story really doesn't seem to hide it for more than 4 words.

To writers: if you specify in the title there's a slight higher chance of your story getting read by someone just quickly looking for something. It does go the other way, though, so do whatever.
