Once again, offhand, subtle comments, like "when I was 9 or 10, we used to play "Cops and Robbers," and "Cowboys and Indians," and used to tie each other up. I never really liked getting tied up, but I put up with it, because I thought it was great fun tying up my friends. I was pretty good at getting loose, but so were my friends, probably 'cause at that age, none of us could tie worth a damn."
If there is interest on the part of your friend(s) they will pick up on it, and press for more details. If not, your comment will, 99% of the time, be dismissed as the musings of someone about his youth.
There are other avenues of approach, which I have previously mentioned. However, a word of caution: If you are 16, DO NOT become involved in tie up games with ANYONE 18 or older. The local constabulary (in the US) takes a dim view of it. It would also be a good idea not to involve yourself with anyone 12 or younger, either.
