Tom's weekend, completed (Story Request)

Postby KP Presents » Mon Nov 14, 2011 6:20 am

I still remember the time when my so-called loving cousins left me and my mother in a bit of a predicament. They meant it in jest; I’m sure, but for a little while there...

My name’s Tom and this happened a year or so back when I was thirteen. Sue and Amy had come to stay with me and my mother for the weekend – my father was away on business, and my aunt (their mother) wanted some time to herself with my uncle. Sue is the older of the two, and was sixteen at the time. Amy was two years younger, but a year above me at the local academy. Both had brown hair, which in the case of Sue was long while Amy had hers cut short.

It was a Saturday afternoon, and my mum had to go work. Her name was Ellen – Ellen Vandenburg, Manageress, as it proudly proclaimed on the name badge she had to wear – and she was 35 years old, with a wonderfully slim body and the same light blonde colour of hair as me. She worked as a receptionist at a hotel in town, and sometimes had to do the Saturday day shift if there was a large party checking in. This was one of those days, so she had left me with the girls to amuse ourselves until she got back.

By the time it had come round to 3 o’clock, my cousins had finished all their homework, and we’d all sat down to watch an old detective program on the television. It showed an all female gang carrying out a bank raid, with the staff been held hostage as they emptied the raid. Sue nudged Amy in the ribs and said “Do you remember when we used to play those games with Johnny?”

“Who’s Johnny,” I heard myself asking.

“Just this boy we used to hang out with,” Amy said quietly. “He likes to play cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers, all those sort of games. Didn’t you play them with your friends?”

“When we were younger, yeah, but I’m a grown man now. How did you use to play them?”

I saw the smile on Sue’s mouth before she said “We used to be the damsels in distress – the widow who would not sign the deeds, the heiress who was kidnapped that sort of thing. We used to enjoy it when he made sure we couldn’t move...”

She let those words hang in the air for a moment, watching my face as they sank in. “You used to get tied up?” I finally let the words out.

“Sometimes – you?”

“Never – I mean, I like watching programs where the girl gets held hostage, but...”

My face must have gone red, for Sue and Amy looked at each other and then back at me. “Do you think Aunt Ellen might like to play a game when she came back in,” Sue finally said.

“What sort of game?”

“Wait and see – let’s watch the film first.”

It was five o’clock when my mum came back from work. She sat down and let out a huge sigh, saying “Thank God that’s over with” as she did so. She was wearing a grey sleeveless dress with a thin red belt, red open toed shoes with three inch heels, dark stockings and a red scarf around her neck. “Give me a few minutes, Tom, and then we’ll sort out dinner with the girls.”

She looked over at me, and saw I was looking at her with a funny look on my face. “What’s the matter,” she finally said as she sat up.

“I was talking to Sue and Amy this afternoon,” I began to stammer out, “and they told me about some of the games they used to play with a boy called Johnny.”

“I’ve heard about Johnny from their mother,” my mum said, “and he was a rough one. What sort of games were they talking about?”

“Cops and robbers,” I whispered as I looked at my mum.

“I see,” she said. “Sue, Amy, would you come in here for a moment please.”

I watched my cousin walking in, with a carrier bag in Sue’s hand. “Yes, Aunt Ellen?”

“Tom tells me you have been telling him about the games you used to play. I have the distinct feeling he wants to play the same sort of game.” She looked at me, as she said “Is that right, Tom?”

I couldn’t look at her at that point, but just nodded.

“I see – well, I can spare an hour or so, so what do you want the game to be?”

“We want you to be the bank manager,” Sue said with a smile, “and Tom comes to see you about a loan. We’re then going to rob the bank.”

“And what will happen to us?”

“That would spoil the surprise.”

My mum sat for a moment, and then stood up. “I need to go to the toilet,” she said, “You girls make yourselves ready. After I come into the room, give us five minutes. What else do you need to do?”

“We just need to change,” Amy said. They were both wearing shorts and t-shirts, so I wondered what they were going to wear instead.

“Well, go and get ready,” mum said as she went to the room door.

Five minutes later, my mum came back in and sat by the dining table. “Tom, go out and come back in,” she said to me. I stood up and walked out of the room, waited two minutes and knocked on the door. I heard my mum say “Come in,” and as I opened the door she walked over with a smile on her face and her hand extended.

“Come in, Tom,” she said, “I’m Ellen Vandenburg. I understand that you need to arrange a loan?”

“Yes m... Mrs Vandenburg,” I corrected myself as I shook her hand. I could see she had taken the money from a Monopoly set and laid it out on the table, alongside a pad and pen.

“Have a seat,” mum said as she pulled one out next to her, “and tell me what you have in mind.”

I took a seat, and started to open my mouth to speak, when the door was thrown open. Sue and Amy came in; both dressed in black jumpers and leggings with two of my mum’s scarves tied over their faces.

“Neither of you move,” Sue said in a deep voice through her bandana mask. “This is a raid.” Amy had a water pistol in her hand, while Sue still had the carrier bag in hers. Mum looked at me, before raising her hands and saying “Please don’t hurt us – we’ll do whatever you say.”

“What about you mate,” Sue said looking at me, “Are you going to play the hero?” I looked at my mother, who winked as I raised my own hands. “I’m sorry, Mrs Vandenburg,” I said quietly, “but I don’t want either of us to be hurt.”

“Smart move,” Sue said as she placed her bag on the table. “Keep an eye on them while I have a word with the bank lady here.” She walked over and stood in front of mum, saying “Stand up,” as she did so. Mum slowly stood up, and said “Just take the money – we won’t stop you.”

“No you won’t,” Sue said as she took out what I recognised as one of two lengths from what was left from our washing line. “You, hero – stand up and take this rope.” I stood up and took the rope from Sue as she looked at mum.

“Tie her hands behind her back,” Sue said looking at me. Mum said “You don’t have to do this, we won’t get in the way,” but Amy just pointed the water pistol at her and let off a small shot of water. Mum had to stop herself from laughing as Sue said “Just do as you’re told, lady – hands behind your back.”

Now, I’d never tied anyone up, let alone my own mother, but I had been a scout, so I knew how to lash two sticks of wood together. She looked over her shoulder at me, said “It’s all right, Tom, just do as they say” and smiled. “All right, Ellen,” I said as I put her hands together, palm to palm, and started to tie her wrists together. The rope was soft, and I didn’t want to hurt her, so I made it just tight enough to hold them together without biting into her skin, passing it between her arms a couple of times as well. As I tied the last knot, Sue took mum by the hand and helped her to sit down against the wall.

I watched as the skirt of her dress rode up as she sat down, her feet extended out in front as Sue passed me the second length of rope. “Do her ankles now,” she said to me as Amy shot a jet of water at my back. I shot a look of anger at her, seeing her laugh as her shoulders rose, before I put my mother’s ankles together and tied them with the other length of rope. I knew for a fact these were the only two lengths of rope in the house, so I wondered what they were going to do with me.

“Nice job, handsome,” Sue said as I tied the ends of the rope off. “Now, can I trust you to keep quiet, lady?”

“I won’t make any noise,” mum said as I watched Sue walk back to the bed. I hoped that was the end of it, but to my dismay I saw her take out a pair of old jump ropes that they must have found somewhere.

“Are you all right, Ellen,” I said as I felt my own hands been pulled behind my back as Sue used one of the jump ropes to tie my own wrists together. She was quite tough as well, pulling the rope tightly around my own wrists, but a sit was thicker than the clothes line I had used on mum she had to settle with just tying my wrists together side by side.

“I’m all right, Tom,” Mum said as Sue made me sit next to her. “Are you all right?”

“I’ll cope,” I said as I watched Sue taking my shoes off, and tying my ankles together with another skip rope. She did a good job, as I felt my legs been drawn together, I looked at my mum sitting there, with her hands behind her back and her legs stretched out, and realised I had never seen her looking like this before. She must have caught the way I was looking at her, for she gave me a wink to show she was all right.

“Get the money in the bag,” Sue said to Amy as she put the gun down, “and I’ll check the safe.” She walked over to an old cabinet and started to look inside, as Amy stuffed the Monopoly money into the bag. I whispered “I think I can get you free – turn and put your back to me.”

“Not yet,” Mum whispered out of the corner of her mouth, “They may hurt us.” As she said this, Sue turned back round and returned to the table. “Open up, both of you,” she said as she brought some of my mum’s hankies over.

“You didn’t say anything about gagging us,” Mum said as she looked at my older relatives. I looked at them as well, but was surprised to hear myself saying “Start with me – I don’t want Ellen hurt.”

Sue looked at me as she gently pushed tow wadded up handkerchiefs into my mouth, before she picked up an old blue silk scarf she had found in my mum’s wardrobe. “Stclmm” I mumbled as she folded the scarf into a wide band, and then pulled it into my mouth, forcing the cloth back as she tied the ends together behind my head.”

“Your turn, Mrs Vandenburg,” she said as she knelt in front of mum. “You’re not going to use this scarf, are you,” she said as she looked at her neck. “No, I’m not,” she said as she held two handkerchiefs up. Mum opened her mouth and allowed her to push the cloths in, but instead of a scarf Sue went back and picked up a roll of white medical tape. She tore a strip off leaving the roll bare, before holding it in both hands and smoothing it over mum’s lips. I watched as the tape formed to the contours of her mouth and lips, the red showing through a little as Sue smoothed the tape down.

“Thnks alt,” Mum mumbled as Sue took a black silk scarf, folded it into a band and tied it over my mother’s eyes, blindfolding her. I thought they were going to do the same to me, but instead Sue just picked up the bag and left the room, Amy following her and closing the door behind them. We sat there in silence, mum twisting her head from side to side as she tried to work the tape loose from her mouth.

The adhesive was holding fast, however, so she turned her head towards me and said “hlpm” in a very quiet voice. I could see she wanted me to help her, so I nudged her and said “ltrtgrmself” as I tried to find the knot holding the rope around my wrists. When Sue had tied them, however, she had managed to keep it out of the way of my fingers, as I could not find any sign of the ends at all.

“Whtrudng,” my mum mumbled as she kept trying to work the tape off. For my own part, I was trying to push the scarf pout of my mouth with my tongue, but the cloth they had stuffed in was absorbing my saliva and pressing down on my tongue, making it difficult to move it,

“Mgng tornuntu” I said as I shuffled next to her, reaching round with my hands and giving my mother’s hand a reassuring squeeze as best I could. She nodded as she turned her back slightly to me, and as I looked over my shoulder I could see where the knot was in the rope around her wrists.

Try as hard as I could, however, I could not reach the knot enough to start to undo it, as I had done far too good a job keeping it out of the reach of her. Screaming in frustration, I shuffled back and looked round, only to see a pair of scissors on the table.

“Hngn,” I said as tried to get onto my knees. The idea was that I would somehow shuffle over to the table, knock the scissors off and cut my own wrists free. As I move forward, however, all I succeeded in doing was catching the end of thru g, tipping over to the side and landing with a thump on my mother’s lap.

“Ryalrght,” I heard her say as I rolled over onto my side and looked up into her face, her eyes covered as she tried to look down at me. “Ys,” I mumbled as I lay there, trying to catch my breath as I looked up at my mum’s chest. It was rising and falling with each of her breaths, and I found myself fighting down some rather nasty thoughts. I wriggled round, trying to desperately free my wrists again, and saw my mother was trying to do the same, only she seemed to be sighing with each struggle she made with her arms.

We kept doing this for an hour or so, during which time my mum moved slightly and allowed my head to fall down on the floor. She rolled over onto her own side, and shuffled round so that her back was next to mine. I could feel her giving my own hand a squeeze as she tried to free the ropes around my arms, and I tried to return the favour, but with little luck on either side.

To my relief, I heard a voice saying “Are you in there, Tom?” From a distance it sounded like Sue, so you can imagine how pleased I was when I saw the door open, hoping my darling cousin had come to free us.

And then imagine my shock as my friend Max came in. He was the same age as me, and I knew he had a real crush on my mum. I looked up at him as he stood there, watching the two of us as we lay back to back on the floor, drinking in every detail of the scene.

“It’s the police, m’am,” he eventually said. Mum looked up and said “Hlps” through her gag, as Max came over and helped her to sit up. I said “Stmptoooo” but he just smiled at me as he said “Let me take that scarf off your eyes.”

As the blindfold was removed, mum looked at Max with a look that said “My Hero.” I actually felt jealous as he reached over and pulled the tape slowly off her lips, allowing her to spit the hankies out as she said “thank you officer - can you take the gag out of the mouth of my client as well please? He tried to stop them from tying us up, but was forced to help them.”

“Ladies first,” Max said as she started to untie her hands. “After all, the damsel must be set free first.” I grunted at him, upset that he was treating my mother in this way, but mum just winked at me as she said “Thank you, officer.”

“Just doing my duty, m’am” Max said. I looked at him as he untied my mother, taking note of the way he was looking at her chest before she pulled the straps which had fallen down her shoulders back up. “Please, free Tom now.”

As she reached down and untied her ankles, Max very slowly untied my own wrists and then removed my gag. “Thanks, officer,” I said with a hint of sarcasm in my voice as mum untied my legs. As I finally stood up, Amy walked back into the room.

“I was just coming to – oh, who are you,” she said as she looked at Max. “Max, Amy. Amy, Max,” I said as I rubbed my wrists. “Why don’t you get a drink – we’ll be along in a minute.”

As the two of them walked out, I turned to look at mum, who had a smile on her face. “Did you enjoy that,” she said as she removed the scarf from her neck.

“In a way – I’m sorry if I hurt you, mum,” I said as I looked at the red marks on her wrists.

“Don’t worry about it – I guess they set the rules,” mum said as she opened a cupboard door. “You go and see to Max, and then I’ll order some pizzas. After that...”

“After that,” I said as I looked at mum. She smiled as she held up a roll of silver duct tape.

“After that, Ellen and Tom Vandenburg are going to teach Amy and Sue what it means to be held captive.” She smiled, and I smiled in return – an interesting night was ahead.

Re: Tom's weekend, part 3

Postby KP Presents » Thu Nov 17, 2011 4:03 am

I was really looking forward to seeing how my mum and I could take revenge on both Sue and Amy for their “game” with us that afternoon. Therefore, as luck would have it, as soon as we left the room the phone rang. It was their mum, my aunt Joan, asking how things were going. I slunk back into the front room, knowing how long a telephone call like this would last, and sat with my cousins to watch the television. They kept looking over at me and giggling, which just made me want revenge all the more.

Come the next morning, and I was sitting at the breakfast table. Sue was there already, wearing a white smock top with a floral pattern and light blue pedal pushers, while Mum was at the cooker frying some bacon. She was wearing a light blue pinafore dress over a grey long sleeved jumper, with black leather ankle boots on her feet. She had been to the shops already, picking up some Lemsips for Amy – she had stayed in bed with a temperature.

There was a knock on the door and Max came in, with a rucksack slung over one shoulder. “Good morning, Mrs Vandenburg,” he said as he sat at the table, “Is it all right if I stay here to play with Tom today?”

“Of course it is, Max,” my mum said with a smile. I knew Max had a bit of a crush on her, and I watched him blush as she said that. “You two go up to Tom’s room and try not to make too much noise.”

We both ran up the stairs, and after I closed the door Max looked at me with an evil smile on his face. “So, what happened after I left last night,” he said as he sat down on the bed.

“Not a lot,” I said with a frown, “Mum had some duct tape out, but then Aunt Joan rang, and well – you know what it’s like when they get talking.”

“I can guess,” Max said as he pulled the rucksack of his back and put it on his lap. “So, do you still want some revenge on your cousins?”

“Cousin – Amy’s sick,” I said quietly. “Why, what do you have in mind?”

Max said nothing, but opened his rucksack and let me look inside. I let off a soft whistle, and said “Are you sure you have enough there?”

“I brought enough for three,” Max said, “but we need them to agree to play first. Do you think they may be up to it?”

I looked in the rucksack again, and whispered “Let me go and ask them.” I ran down the stairs as quickly as I could, and found Mum and Sue still sitting at the breakfast table. “Mum,” I said quietly, “Do you remember what we talked about doing last night?”

She looked at me, then nodded and said “yes, but Amy is asleep.” Sue looked over at her aunt, then at me, before saying “Hang on, are you suggesting...”

“Max and I were wondering if you would play Cops and Robbers with us, only this time we’ll be the robbers and you ...”

“We get to be the victims?”

I looked at my mum and nodded. I had never, ever considered tying my mother up before, but after yesterday I wanted to tie up my cousin to teach her a lesson. “All right,” mum said eventually, looking at Sue as she did so. “We will be in the front room in fifteen minutes, and you can start the game there. Just don’t disturb Amy – I want her to get as much sleep as possible.”

“Thanks, mum,” I said as I ran out of the room and up to my bedroom. I knew Max had rope, but we needed something to act as a gag. Rummaging through my cupboards, I eventually found a kerchief I had worn at cub scouts. It was light blue and green, and looked like it would do the job. Looking in my mum’s room next, I found a green bandana with a check pattern on it, which I also stuffed in my pocket. I also took a bunch of my dad’s handkerchiefs from a drawer and went back to my room.

Both Max and I were wearing jeans and polo shirts, so I handed him one of my woollen scarf’s and took one myself. We both fastened them around our faces, so that we looked like robbers, and I handed Max one of my water pistols. Suitable prepared, we crept down the staircase to the front room.

The door was slightly open, and I could see mum and Sue sitting on the long couch, with their backs to us. They were talking to each other, about nothing in particular, as we slipped into the room and hid behind the couch.

“So, what are you planning to do this afternoon,” I heard my mum saying to Sue.

“Oh, I don’t know, Aunt Ellen,” Sue replied, “I thought I might go to Westfield and have a look round the shops. I have my birthday money to append after all.”
Max looked at me and nodded, pointing at Sue. I nodded in return as we both stood up behind the two women.

“That sounds like a good idea, I mpppdgpgpdg” I heard Mum say as Max fixed his hand over her mouth. She looked at me over her shoulder, as her eyebrow raised an inch.

“Aunt ELLLADSFLFLLFDS” Sue started to say as I put my own hand over her mouth. I could feel the vibration of her lips under my hand as she tried to talk – a great feeling. Max pointed the water pistol at my mum’s head and said “Stop panicking ladies – this is just a robbery. If you both do as we say, nobody gets hurt.”

“Whtduwnt,” I heard my mum mumble as Sue looked over at her. “Just your money, Lady,” Max said under his scarf. “Now, we have guns, and we will use them if you give us any trouble. Show her, T.”

I pointed my own water pistol at Sue, whose eyes were darting from side to side. Mum said “Wldahtus” as she held Sue’s hand.

“Good – we’re going to take our hands away. I want you both to put your own hands on your head. Nod if you understand.” My mum nodded as I felt Sue’s head move under my hand, so we both let go and walked round, watching both Sue and Mum put their hands on their head. They looked at us as we stood there, Sue trying not to laugh as Mum said “Please, don’t hurt us; we’ll do whatever you want.”

“I know you will,” Max said as he put the rucksack on the floor. “Now, both of you kneel down on the floor in front of the couch, facing the back. Do it slowly – no sudden movements. T, open the bag up.”

“What are you going to do to us,” Sue said as she slipped off the couch and turned herself round next to my mother. “I think they’re going to tie us up,” Mum said as she tried to act calm, “Let’s just let them do what they’re going to do, and we’ll be all right.” I thought I could hear a hint of excitement in her voice, but she was doing her best to hide it.
Max handed me a length of soft with rope, about six foot long, and said “Both of you, slowly bring your hands behind your back and stay still. T, you take care of the younger one while I take care of her aunt.”

“Please, don’t do this,” Sue said as she looked over her shoulder at me, but I could see her smiling as she said it. I put her hands together, palm to palm, and wrapped the rope around and between them, pulling them together as I tried not to bruise her skin. Looking over I could see than Max had crossed my mother’s wrists before tying them together, watching her sigh as the rope pulled then together.

As I cinched Sue’s wrists, Max threw a second, longer length of rope my way. “Make sure she can’t move them,” he said as he passed a similar length of rope around my mother’s waist, pulling her wrist into the small of her back, I did the same, passing the rope around Sue’s waist and then between her wrists and her back so that they were held firmly in place.

“Why are you doing this,” Sue said as she looked over her shoulder. “I thought we told you both to be quiet,” I growled as I looked at her. Mum looked at me, and started to say “I can’t take this anymore, help, HELP, HELPMMMDDMSSGDMSGMGSM” Max had clamped his hand again over her mouth, before saying “I told you had to be quiet. I don’t want to gag you yet, but if I have to...”

“PLS, SMBDHHLPSSSSS” Mum cried out, earning a raised eyebrow from Sue who said “Aunt Ellen, for god’s sake, calm down, or they’ll mfdsffasdfasdff” I had taken a pair of handkerchiefs and stuffed them into her mouth while she was trying to speak, saying “We can’t take this risk any more – gag her as well” as I did so. Mum raised her eyebrow as she looked at me, then at the wadded up handkerchiefs in Max’s hand, before saying “All right, I promdsadsdDdaD” as the cloth went in.

I took the Scout kerchief out of my pocket and handed it to Max, who rolled it into a band and pulled it between my mother’s lips. As her rouged lips closed round it, I did the same thing with the bandana to Sue, pulling it between her teeth and knotting it over her hair at the base of her neck.

“Msrrpm” Mum said as I watched Max pushed her legs together and start to tie them to each other, the rope squeaking on the leather of her boots as it was pulled tightly. I did the same to Sue, keeping the rope neat over her lower legs as it went around and between her legs. As I pulled the coils tight, I watched Max help my mother turn round and sit on the floor, so I did the same for Sue.

“I told you not to fight us,” Max growled as he looked at my mother, “Now we need to make sure you cannot get in our way at all.” He handed me a longer length of rope. “Tie her legs together above her knees,” he said as he looked at Sue, and then started to fold back the hem of my mother’s skirt.

Her eyebrow shot up again as she watched Max fold the hem back over her knees and pass the rope around her legs, but she knew she was powerless to stop him. He even rubbed the back of her legs as he did so, which made my mum's eyebrows shoot even further up. I watched him all the time as he pulled her legs tightly together, wrapping the rope around before he cinched the coils and knotted the ends together, tucking the ends into the ropes.

“I said to tie her legs together, T” Max said as he folded the skirt back. Nodding, I turned and started to tie Sue’s legs together. As I did so, she said “rulrghtntln,” looking over at my mum all the time.

“Lbfnfdebhvthmslvs” I heard her say, and as I finished tying Sue’s legs together I looked over to see why. Max had produced a long, long length of rope and was tying my mother’s arms to her side, her breasts more prominent as the dress was pushed in by the ropes. I looked at Max, who was smiling as he wound the rope above and below my mother’s chest

“We said we weren’t going to hurt them,” I said as I looked at him. “We’re not going to,” Max said as he did something behind my mother’s back, “but we need to make sure they don’t get in our way. Secure her arms to her side, quickly.” He tossed me yet another length of rope, which I passed around my cousin’s arms and chest half way up and pulled tightly. I could see her top stretching over her chest, put kept it simple, passing the rope around several times before I cinched it by passing the rope around the loops under her armpits. “Thnks,” she said to me as I stood up and walked in front of her.

“Now, neither of you move,” Max said as he pointed the gun at my mother. I could see her hair falling around her face, her lips over the wrapped cloth as she said “plsjstg”

Re: Tom's weekend, completed (Story Request)

Postby KP Presents » Thu Nov 24, 2011 12:46 am

“Not yet,” Max said, “come on, we need to start looking.” The two of us started to look through the cupboards in the front room, but I was also listening to the conversation going on behind me.

“Hwtghtlyrutd?”

“Cntmvmrms, u?”

I could hear the squeal of rope on leather, and in the glass front of our dresser I could see my mother wriggling round.

“Npm, cntmv. Hwrudng?”

“Mscrrd, ntln. Whrthsmn?”

“Dntkn. Cnutrnrnd?”

I could see Sue trying to turn herself round, as she said “mghtbblt, btntwfthmnhr.” Mum looked at me in the glass, and nodded as she saw me looking at them. I have to confess, however, my focus was on my cousin. I could see her smock top stretched over her chest, even if she was less tightly tied than my mother, and from the way she was twisting her legs around she looked weirdly attractive.

As for mum, she was twisting her body round as well. Max may have folded the skirt of her dress back down, but it was starting to ride up again, and I could see the ropes around her legs. Turning round, I walked over and pulled the skirt back down, looking at her face as I did so. She looked into my eyes and said “fnku" as Max said “Get back over here and help me open this safe, T.”

I went back to where Max had knelt in front of a small cupboard, while mum said “Plsdnttktht.” “Quiet, lady,” Max said as he looked over his shoulder, then looked at me. “Your mum looks fantastic,” he whispered as we looked in the cupboard,

“She’s still my mum, Max,” I said as I heard the two of them moving on the floor behind us.

“I saw the way you looked at your cousin – you enjoyed tying her up, didn’t you?”

Well, I had to admit he was right – I had enjoyed tying her up, and it was more than revenge for yesterday – it was the fact she enjoyed it as well. I wondered if she wanted to play some more later, but as we stood up and walked round we could see they had got back to back, and Sue was trying to untie my mum’s wrists.

“Ah, ah,” Max said as we walked over, “We can’t allow that. T, pull the youngster over there, and use this to make sure she can’t get away.”

“What do you mean,” I said as I pulled Sue to the other end of the couch, and Max threw another length of rope my way. To my surprise, however, Sue rolled herself onto her stomach and lifted her legs behind her back, looking at them and then at me.

I looked over at Max, who was tying one end of a length of rope around the binding on my mum’s ankles as she sat on the floor with her legs to the side, and suddenly I got the idea. As he fed the rope up behind my mother’s back, I tied the end of my rope around Sue’s ankles and then fed it down and around the rope around her wrists, pulling it back so that her ankles were perpendicular to her knees before I passed the rope back round.

“PLSDNTHRTHR” my mum called out as Max tied her ankles to her wrists. “Mallrghtntelkn,” Sue said as she looked over her shoulder at me, “Dntmktwrs.”

“Sound advice, youngster,” Max said as he picked up his rucksack. “Have a nice day, ladies,” he said as he motioned to me. We both left the room with Sue looking at my mum, and made our way into the kitchen.

Our house was an old one, and had a serving hatch between the kitchen and the front room. I put my finger to my lips as I silently opened the hatch, and we watched Sue and my mother from a distance.

Sue was squirming round on the floor, looking over her shoulder to see if she could find the knot holding her hogtie in place, while my mum was looking over her own shoulder. I could now see where Max had pulled the bands of rope around my mum’s chest together behind her back, and that he’d fixed the rope from her ankles to the large knot.

“Where did you learn to tie a knot like that?” I whispered as I saw my mum moving her arms from side to side.

“I read some of my dad’s books,” he said as we heard Sue saying “Neon, whtcnwd?”

“gvmammnt, pm” I heard my mum mumble as she kept trying to twist her body round, seeing if she could loosen the ropes at all, but with little effect. Instead, I could see sweat stains under her armpits on her jumper.

“Hwmchcnuwrgl?”

Sue looked at her body, and then up at my mother. “Ltl, y?”

“Cnushflverhr?

Pm lifted her head and I could see a dark saliva stain developing in the bandana between her plain lips. Moving her head from side to side, I watched, fascinated as she started to shuffle herself forward on the floor, using her body like a snake as she moved inch by inch.

“Gdgrl, kpgng,” I heard my mother say as Sue slowly came towards her. “Mtrd,nt” I heard her say as she looked up, and I could see the beads of sweat on her forehead.

“Ikn, ikn, btkpgng swthrt”

Inch by inch, slowly, Sue came towards my mother, with her encouraging my cousin the whole time. As I watched, I was conscious of something new happening to me as well, but I tried to ignore that – except I could see Max panting slightly as he watched my other moving about. I was going to ask him about that, when I heard “MDT” and I turned back to watch Sue laying her head on my mother’s lap.

“Gdgrl, gdgrl,” she said as Sue panted slightly. “nw,rsurhad, indtmv.” I watched, fascinated as Mum twisted her body round so that she could reach Sue’s gag, and eased the fingers of her hand under the material, Sue moving her head from side to side as she eased the green bandana from between her lips.

“Ngggggg oh that’s better,” Sue said as she spat the handkerchiefs out, the sodden scarf hanging around her neck. Looking at my mum, she said “I think I can pick that knot with my teeth, Aunt El...”

“What’s going on?”

I looked over to the doorway to see Amy standing there, a dressing gown around her and the legs of her white pyjamas visible.

“Thbskdtplagmwfs,” I heard mum say, which just made Sue and Amy laugh. “Hang on,” Amy said as she walked forward and removed the gag from my mother’s mouth. “I said, the boys asked us to play a game,” she said after the sodden cloth hit the floor. Without turning round, she said “and if they have any sense, they will come back in now and untie us – I know they are watching.”

Amy looked up and saw us at the hatch. “Well?” she said as she looked at us, so we walked in from the kitchen and started to untie the two of them.

As I knelt next to Sue, she whispered into my ear “You’re good – we’ll have to play this when Amy is better.” For Max’s part, he was listening to my mother talking quietly, nodding as he did so.

“Thank you, “ my mother eventually said as she rubbed her wrists. “Now, I’m going to fix lunch – would you like some. Max?”

“Thanks, Mrs Vandenburg,” Max said as he coiled the ropes up and put them away. “What did my mum say to you,” I asked as I went to help him.

“She wants to talk to my mum,” Max whispered. “I wonder what they’re going to talk about?”
