is it considered cheating if...

Postby Baconbits69 » Sun Nov 09, 2014 1:55 am

So I have a girlfriend right now. We've been dating for about 6 months. She isn't into tie up games like I am. So I don't get to tie her up or she tie me up.
However one of my friends, a lesbian, is always down to have tie up games with me. She finds it really fun.
I talked it over to one of my other friends and he says it's wrong that I hang out with someone other than my gf and we tie each other up because of the pleasure I get out of it.
I mean is it considered cheating if I tie someone up even if she is a lesbian? Even if she wasn't a lesbian is it considered cheating or harmless fun?
wait what should my signature be?

i don't know! if ur gf does same pleasurefull play with a gay guy do u consider it cheating!?
still in my own opinion it isn't really cheating , at least from ur side!... a brighter idea would be clearing the air with ur gf, i know some ppl who made such an arrangement in their relationship, which i'm not sure if it works for everyone though.

Not unless you stop loving her.

Unless you have definite romantic feelings for your lesbian friend, it's no more cheating on your gf than it is to play football with a bunch of the guys or taking a pal out for a pizza and beer. A spouse may feel neglected when her spouse spends too much time with the guys, but no one considers that cheating... oddly enough perhaps. It's the feeling of sexual attraction that defines whether you are faithful/cheating, not what you actually do together... especially when it's something your gf has no interest in doing with you herself (it might be different if she did share your interest, but she doesn't so it should not count). Otherwise, technically any kind of social life with anyone else would be considering cheating.
Now, if you do have sexual feelings for your lesbian friend, then you may have a problem.

No technically its not cheating but beware because the appearance of cheating can be just as damaging. I wouldn't suggest doing this without outright approval from your girlfriend.

Why don't you ask your girlfriend if she'd be okay with it(maybe don't tell her about the past). If you don't ask her first, and she finds out, then it could lead to a sticky situation. If she says yes, then all is well. If she says no, then you know that she defines it as cheating.

Ummm, yes i was assuming it wasn't a secret from your girlfriend when i replied before. Perhaps I should not have.
If it is a secret from her, it shouldn't be. She should know, and be cool with it besides. Otherwise if she finds out from someone else it'll damage your relationship if she thinks you're cheating... because let's face it, it's gonna be her opinion on that matter that counts! Not yours, ours, or anyone else's. Just hers.

I fully agree with TUfriend here.
There is no global definition what counts as cheating and what not- if your gf consideres it cheating, it is.
Besides, I am pretty sure that a bunch of guys and gals on the internet can *not* tell if your gf would see is as cheating or not. And, considering that you ask here, I think it's not 100% sure for you, either. So in a way- yes, you already cheated on her.
