Headmistress, I had a similar forst aid experience.

The teacher was a female in her 40s. It was near the end of the course, She split us into two groups, men and women and asked for a volunteer from each. The others would put the practiced dressings on the volunteers. i was the ladies' volunteer wearing low heeled shoes, tan tights under jeans and a t-shirt.

irst we had an injury to our right hand. This ment we had a bandage put over the hand so we couldn't move fingers next the arm war put in a sling so it was pinned against our chest with the hand near the left shoulder. Next we had broken our left elbows. Left arm was tied into the side with 4 or 5 bandages round our bodies and arm. Right eye injury was a pad over the eye with a bandage round the head. Next was a broken leg. Like Headmistress this involved a splint and tying our legs together with bandages round thighs, above and below knees, mid calf x2 and a sort of figure of 8 which went round our ankles, crossed over our feet then looped under the sole befoe being tied off round our ankles again. My shoes were taken off for this one. finally a broken jaw which meant a bandage under our chins tied on top of our heads so we could not open our mouths.

I was rather hoping we would be left there for a while or the teacher would tickle my feet to test the leg splint or jaw bandage but no luck. It took about 20-25 minutes to tie us up and 5 minutes for the teacher to comment on the bandaging and then everyone to let us go.

Somethings i di not get to volunteer for was some sort of rescue stretcher or the spinal board where the volunteer was strapped in. we were told for training to leave the arms out so the casualty could protect themselves but in reality the arms would be strapped down too. again no one was left there for more than 10 minutes but I thought it would have been wonderful to be strapped to a pinal board with hard collar on and arms tied down then left whilst everyine else went for coffee.

I have never been able to indulge this medical restraint fetish since.
