It really is no surprise it's a curiosity for many and a fantasy for some. But you would not want to be kidnapped by somebody for real. Bad things tend to happen in those situations. This is probably why kidnapping role play appeals to many people. You get the same sense of helplessness and adventure without the danger and terror of the real thing. It also probably explains those companies which offers to kidnap and hold people for a day or so for some ungodly amount of money, which is probably as close as you can come to the real thing without actually experiencing it.

and lets face it...in RL things aren't fun and sexy and the poor victim is sometimes abused in horrible ways...so yeah in RL - no way! for fantasy by a trusted captor? and if I had time off? haha would be fun! now who gets to pack the RP costumes? hehe

That's the attitude to have. Although if you were really kidnapped it would be easier to explain the time off to your boss, I guess.

Yeah this is one thing that should remain a fantasy. It was a bit of dark humor from me on the kidnapping thing.

Anyone else?
