I read several stories here where people are left tied up for a long time. Wow...
We have this game we play where I am tied up and try to get away. It is pretty simple. If I get away, I win, and if I don't, the person doing the tying wins. They generally don't like being tied themselves and I do.
The other night, I was tied really tight. My arms were pulled behind my back, then my wrist secured with cotton rope wrapped 3 ways several times. I could barely move my wrists and it was very tight, but my feet weren't tied very well so I freed them and was able to walk over to a mirror and see how my wrists had been tied. I would spend time trying to reach a rope or knot, and occasionally would succeed. After an hour, I had untied about a third of the ropes.
The last of the ropes were quite tight, and it hurt to even struggle against them. I was very close to getting loose but one rope was wrapped around my wrist tight enough I couldn't get my hand free. It took a lot of effort but I finally was able to pull free. I had won and kind of rubbed it in to the person who had tied me up. The next night, she did it again!
