My Stories

All of my stories seem to start off really strong, just can't end them for some reason.

Anybody else know why? Same issue?

I think TUG endings tend to be anti-climactic as hell; far more so than the average story. That's one reason why I myself have so many unfinished ones.

Good answer. That makes me feel a lot better about my unfinished stories.

Expanding on that idea... I think my own problem is that I get emotionally invested in my stories, especially the true ones. After I’ve completed two or three instalments, I guess I suffer from writer fatigue, a mild form of burnout.

I think we're all in the same boat.
That's probably why I often leave very open endings.
At least that can led to a series for example in my case: Blackmail - One for Luck - Tied Olympics.

I suppose that my use of punchlines is cheating?

I've got the same problem. It just seems hard to finish.
