Night Of The Storm

Postby just4fun » Tue Nov 29, 2011 1:19 am

A thunderstorm swept across the west Texas plain. The lightning flashed as the thunder rolled and the tree limbs played precussion on the rooftop. The rain made it near impossible to see outside, so thick and dark and cold for a september night. The clock read 1am, Jason had only just fallen asleep. He had just turned 13- a number he did not like as he thought of the number as unlucky.
Jason began to dream- the dream taking its ques from the influence of the storm. Jason found himself in an alleyway walking home. He was trying to avoid the puddles of water to avoid getting his feet wet. All of a sudden Jason felt a chill, one that did not come from the storm but from deep within his soul. As he turned around he faced a demon, much taller than his own size and build. This demon was staring at him and growling. Jason turned and began to run as fastas his legs would take im, no longer caring about the puddles. But his dream created a dead end at the end of th alleyway, Jason was trapped. He turned to see he demon creature towering over his just barely 5ft body, the rain still falling as both figures stood to face each other. Then the demon reached out his hand and clamped it on the boys face, Jason awoke startled to see the demon had not left with the alleyway, but had only changed shape.
The hand of a man was tightly clamped over Jasons mouth, the Demons red eyes shown thru that of his mask.
"Move and i end you boy. Do as i instruct, or there will be Hell to pay" the dark voice stole all hope from Jasons young heart.
The hand was removed- Jason was in shock and now parallized with fear, unable to scream. That soon did not matter as something was shoved into his mouth and then sealed with layers of tape around his head. He was then flipped over and his arms forced behind his back, then wrapped together with duct tape.
The Demon hoisted Jason upon his shoulders and began heading for the open window thru which he had gained entry. Jason now faced the reality, he was being kidnapped.

I know this is dark and some of you may be worried, but dont be. As this is a fictional tail i will be using lots of imagry and symbollism. Please track with me, this will not go outside of the guidelines and i promise it will be a fun and exciting read. This first part is the shortest of the story, sorry for such a tease!

It is okay so far.
From whence I came and whence I went heaven said I was too evil and sent me to hell. Demons and devils succeeded in breaking my soul.

So far so good. I'm glad the characters are to be human; I'm not too keen on fantasy stuff.

The giant man before taking young Jason out of the window pulled out what seemed to be a huge potato sack and put it over Jason. It was big enough to go all the way down to his ankles, the man than taped it and hoisted Jason back over his shoulders.
Jason felt the rain hitting the sack, he saw flashes of light from the lightning and heard booms of thunder very close by. Jason heard a gate open, "we must be going the back way" he thought. He began to shiver in the sack, afterall all he was wearing was a grey muscle shirt, black pajamas and his long white socks.
He then heard a trunk open and felt himself being laid into it. then the trunt closed. Now there really was no escape- no hope. The car engine started and Jason began to get his sences back, he tried to struggle and scream as loud as he could, but it was no use- the tape around his hand was wound too tight. Then he kicked and pulled at the tape that bound his legs and a miricle happened! It began to rip! He got his legs free and wiggled out ofthe sack, maybe there was still hope!
It was dark, but Jason knew most trunks had escape levers that glowed in the dark- all he had to do was find that and then somehow get to safety.
He found no such lever, but a plan began to formulate in his mind, "Im not giving up!" he told himself, "never..."
---------
---------
David stand there stunned at what he had just seen. He had wittnessed someone kidnap his older brother, right before his eyes. He was surprized the guy didnt see him curled up in the corner in the sleepingbag. He had his own room, but the thunderstorm was making it hard to sleep. Normally he would go to his dads room, ut since his dad had been working night shifts as an ambulance driver, he has had to rely on the old lady next door and his older brother. David was 11, about the same size and build as Jason, who was small for his age. David ran to the phone, but the power was out....no cell phone and his brothers broke just 2 days before....what to do!?! "I have to sve Jason!"
David bolted outside after diving into his shoes, and grabbed his bike. He had some ground to make up, but he could see the car in the disance, not too far!
"Hold on Jason im comin!!"

Well...after laughing so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes and then I got around to reading the second part (still struggling to control my laughing) I'd say this story has grabbed my interest. "I'll be back!"......Still chuckling about the neighbors.....
