I guess this is one of those threads where we're all just agreeing with each other. I will say this though: I've read a few stories on this board (and I'm not going to cite any in particular), all in the fictional section, where the line between fantasy and reality is somewhat questionable. They usually have a female protagonist who's home is invaded or they're kidnapped or something of the like and get sexually excited by the situation. Which is absurd. If a guy invades your house and plans to take advantage of you, that isn't going to turn you on. What it's going to do is scare the hell out of you and probably damage you psychologically.
It isn't a huge deal, these are just stories, I appreciate that. But reading stuff like that, I do find somewhat... Distasteful.
There's a permanent tension in music isn't there? On one hand you have three chords, you know, four four and three chords. Then there's the people like me, who say "Well, why don't we add a fourth chord and put it in five four?" - Bill Bruford
