Why did the poor comedian get so much rocko (barracking) from his audience?

I understand that "rocko" and "barracking" do not translate into American.
It means he was getting heckled noisily.

I believe 'heckling noisily' is a redundant term; afaik all heckling is by definition noisy.
But then, perhaps i'm just using this opportunity to wisequack.

It is, indeed, a tautology and, indeed you are.

Can you answer the riddle, though?

Not if the answer is dependent on your original wording (as many punchlines are), because that would likely mean only a Brit would figure it out (let alone get the punchline) just like I didn't know just what rocko or barracking are (terms I never heard of before).
As is, nothing even remotely relevant or funny comes to mind. Besides, I thought you were just commenting on the original post, not actually asking a riddle of your own, and therefore gave it no thought.

It doesn't rely on the original wording and I believe that the term needed for the answer was originally American.

Well, I can guess he was because he was causing them call to quack up.
If not, i guess he'd better duck and cover.
