Like many of you, I enjoy surfing the web for bondage content from time to time.
I used to just hop on and search for whatever I wanted, but then stuff started getting removed. DailyMotion and MyVideo suffered a bondage purge a few years back and YouTube has become notorious for flagging new tie up videos on the grounds of "inappropriate content". In an effort to curb this loss and to ensure the videos that I particularly liked remained available for view, I began to download content.
It started out as a few videos and photos here and there, mainly consisting of my absolute favorite pieces of content that I didn't want to lose. Stuff like certain YouTube videos and photos of bondage models that I liked. But it has since grown into something more.
A while back I downloaded a chrome extension that allows me to download videos off of almost any website without having to go through their process. I also installed some bulk-image download software, allowing me to download whole photos galleries at a time, without having to right click and "Save as" individual photos. This has all made it very easy to download massive amounts of bondage content at a time, effectively kick starting my collection.
I've since developed an extensive library of folders and sub folders, going levels deep and sorted by various categories. The broadest folder and all that it encompasses is hidden in a locked folder that requires a password to open, and the files within do not show up in the search results bar of the control panel. As of today, the size of this folder is 132 GB. So, yeah. Something has to change.
It's definitely served its use. Videos and photos have since been removed while still remaining safely in storage for me. But it's getting a bit out of hand. I keep telling myself that I'm going to go through and scale the collection way back, deleting everything that I don't absolutely want, but whenever I try I can't bring myself to do it. I'm always imagining that if I delete something, then I'll forget the name of the video, model, or whatever, and never be able to find it again. Call it nostalgia.
I'm not talking about deleting everything. I don't think I would ever do that. I'm just talking about doing some Spring cleaning, and perhaps some steps I can take in the future to keep thing from getting so far out of hand.
So, does anybody have any ideas? I figured I can't exactly go to any one else for this type of advise because they wouldn't understand, so I'm asking you guys.
