Question about Pain

Pain in Tugs? Any ideas? Be specific
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

I am chicken about pain. I don't like pain at any time, in any circumstance. So, count me out! However, I can tolerate being restrained in an "uncomfortable" position for an extended time.

Once again, I will stress that TUG's should be fun for all concerned. When it stops being fun, it becomes abuse, and that is never good.

I don't know, I've been curious about it. I guess as long as it's very mild, so I can try it out. I kind of like the torture aspect of tugs, being ready for punishment that you can't get away from. But I'm not ready to get whipped and leave welts or anything!

I myself don't like pain(though I do have a high pain tolerance), but I'm also not a sub. As far as the sub goes, it doesn't really matter either way if she likes pain or not, if she does, I'd inflict it upon her, if not, I won't, either way it's mainly the fact that she'd be bound and gagged that'd turn me on.

I think discomfort is a better word than pain. Mild pain is ok, but nothing that lasts or will cause permanent effects. I would not want to be tortured, but a little rough play is fine. Just nothing that would make me bleed or strain or sprain anything, or obviously not break any bones or anything like that.

I'm with Rachel_Tied above, mild pain is ok. Personally I'm not into the more severe stuff that would fall towards the torture/BDSM end of the scale. Spanking & whipping etc are out. Nipple clamps & as also mentioned above the discomfort that comes from both being put in,& left in (possibly for quite some time),tight bondage are acceptable. As also is the discomfort of (again possibly long term) gagging. I've always tended to prefer light humiliation to any form of pain.

The physiology of pain in bdsm is to promote the release of endorphins (feel good thingies) which is a byproduct of pain. That said, it was a tradeoff I was never willing to buy into it as a do-er or a do-ee, nor do I recommend it. Permanent damage and in some cases death can be the result. Stick with tickling.

And in henry1001's case that's you need have him crumble like a house of cards xD
Everyone speaks in multiple languages...But gag talk is universal and a sock in your mouth is the perfect translator!

I think the concept of pain gets a bad rap. People hear the word pain and instantly think "whips and chains!", which is on the more extreme side of pain. I inflict minimal pain on my sub through a bit of light spanking, and she doesn't mind. Although as said, consent is the name of the game. But I don't see anything wrong with a few smacks on the bum.

First, not everyone has the same reaction to the same stimulus. Some people are in agony from dental work even with anaesthetic. Others can tolerate drilling without any novocain. Just because you can't tolerate something you see doesn't mean that the person experiencing it is suffering as much as you would in that person's place. And it's not at all unusual for person A to be able to tolerate something B can't stand, while B has no problem with a different thing that A can't take. I should also point out that some implements such as floggers look and sound a whole lot worse than they really are. They can make a frighteningly loud sound while stinging far less than a bare-handing spanking.

Some people enjoy some level of pain for its own sake - as tony2 noted, it releases endorphins. But that's not the only possible reason for introducing pain into a TUG. Some people role-play an interrogation. Pain makes the game more real. Some people enjoy not the pain itself, but rather the psychological challenge of standing up it.

For me, it's what you said at the end. It's more about the challenge and how much I can take, not the desire to FEEL pain.

if you are really into controlling leels of pain, look at TMS (basically electrical stimulation) where you can control the intensity and location. ONE MAJOR CAUTION: DO NOT PLACE ELECTRODES ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE CHEST- A STRONG ENOUGH FLOW CAN STOP THE HEART.
It can be fun and very persuasive if used intelligently.
