I think the Malaysian government are either extremely incompetent (with so many mixed messages and references such as "the guy might look like Mario Balotelli)...... or the worse scenario, they are trying to hide something.
Potentially some major catastrophe occurred that could have been avoided by the airline/government/pilot and now they are trying to prevent the truth from coming out by acting dumb.
There is something very suspicious going on.
And on a lighthearted note, I can't help thinking about the Lost TV Series when i see this story. Perhaps they are all on an island with polar bears and hidden trapdoors?
Easy to criticise one government. Wait till its your own.

I may be a simple hairdresser beautician but please tell me how a mobile phone can help find an aeroplane underwater?

capturedsuperhero wrote:Sorry, I wasn't saying that you can use mobile phones to track the plane. I meant that when you have aircraft that cost millions to build then really there should be measures in place to be able to track constantly where they are at all times - and even if it's out of range under sea, at least the point of impact should be known.
As for the mobile phones comment, again you have phones that can download movies in a few minutes, you can access bank accounts, you can turn on your oven from work even (!), and many more incredible things - yet there aren't measures in place again to determine at least an estimated flight path.
We can put a man on the moon and track satellites that we send thousands of miles into space, yet we can't track the flight of a £100,000,000 aircraft?
And i'm not calling the Malaysian government incompetent for losing the plane, i'm saying that their behavior afterwards has seemed very unprofessional and indecisive. They really should have taken charge of the situation instead of sending out so many mixed messages.
I don't normally go for conspiracy theories but don't estimate how powerful the airlines and Boeing are. If they believe that their aircraft was at all at fault, they will do everything possible to make sure that the truth doesn't get revealed.

No one is to blame for the accident yet, there isn't any proof of anything yet.
I'm saying that the aftermath that has been handled poorly.
I never said to stop space exploration. I'm saying if you can track a satellite travelling to the far reaches of the solar system, then surely the technology should be made available to track aircraft.

It's your logic whicch is wraped. By your case, why have people built so many destructive weapons, when natural diseases have spread more rapidly?

The Satellite called Voyager 1
I'm saying that if we can track Voyager 1 at such an incredible distance we should be able to track planes travelling round our own planet.
