WARNING:::THIS CONTAINS MILD SWEARING
Hi there TUGs fan--I'm one of those long time readers, first time posters, so this might not be the most entertaining nor well written piece of TUG fiction, so be warned. I also might not end up finishing it, so my apologies for anyone who in fact enjoyed it...
Other than that, I'll try at least to update it regularly, although the updates might be a bit short, and I apologize for any writing mistakes or something like that, as it's most likely that I'll be doing this either quite late at night or ridiculously early in the morning.
Since I'm making this up as I go along, I don't know how far in the TUGs will begin, but I'll try to make it a bit concise. But, on to the actual story, eh?
The two main characters are a bit of the cliche practically perfect teenage friendzoned lovers deal, but let's be honest, who doesn't love that kind of love story, am I right? o_-
For those who feel inclined to know, the main character (Natalie, we will call her Nat) is somewhat short for sixteen, reaching the height of 5'2", and has shoulder length light brunette hair, though most of the time she keeps it up in a braid or ponytail. She has beautiful round eyes that are, based on the light, either an acid green or a feral yellow color. Her skin is moderately pale, and almost flawless. It's needless to say that she holds the attention of quite a lot of men.
Her guy friend, Jack, has jet black hair that is constantly mussed up in that kind of bad-boy way, and has chocolate brown eyes that are almost always trained on Nat, though she doesn't quite know it yet. He has that tall, dark, and mysterious kind of feel to him. He's more tall than he is muscular, being more of a mix, though he is quite strong and enjoys kind of showing his...dominance, let's say, over his female companions. It's all playful, of course, but damn does it make them blush.
Anyway, on to the story, right?

"You know, you should really get some rest. How long've you been up? Twenty seven hours? I mean really, I can handle Timmy on my own--It's not like you need to guard me the whole time just because he threatened me once two days ago..." The desperate pleading didn't budge Jack from the door even an inch, although he was yawning and stretching, as if he was just rubbing it in her face that he was extremely tired. Nat frowned, her hands digging into the space right above her hipbones. "Jack..." she growled. She knew there were two words that would get him up from that stool in a heartbeat, but she also knew that using those two words would make it so that she was both in further debt to him and he was still putting more effort into their friendship than she was.
"Come on, Jack!" She exclaimed, walking forward and removing her hands from her hips to brace them against his side, digging her toes into the carpet as she tried to push his immovable body off the stool and toward the beds, but before she even had a chance to sway him, she felt his hands encompass her tiny wrists and pull her hands from his body, causing her to lose her balance for a moment and swing forward. She let out this tiny gasp, but one of her wrists were let go, an arm circling around her waist to stop her fall, though it also flipped her around and sat her on his lap, back pressed against his chest and other wrist still in the air next to his cheek. She felt her face redden and she pushed her free palm against his chest, trying to pull away from his grip, which was like stone against her tiny, pixie-like build. He released her after a moment of putting her through the embarrassment and flashed her a grin, though he still didn't speak to her as the grin faded and he turned to face the window again, letting her seethe and allow her heartbeat to slow down. Mostly, the reason for it becoming irregular whenever he touched her was because of the amazing, vanilla scented cologne he always wore, as if he was almost taunting her to stay close to him just to smell her favorite scent.
She always told herself that she'd loved vanilla and cherryblossoms before he'd come into her life, but deep down she knew it was because she'd associated the scent with...him. With the feeling of safety and friendship and a hint of forbidden love. No girl could really resist that--or his hotness, really. It wasn't as if she was shallow, though. There was much more to him than that. Despite his little I don't care act, he was the kind of person who would stay up for nights to comfort somebody because their pet died, or will lie or discredit himself for the sake of another's happiness.
Maybe, while thinking about this, she'd spaced out a bit, considering that when she came back to reality, Jack was giving her a mildly concerned look, as if his little playful almost roughhousing had somehow hurt her in the smallest way possible, but she just gave him a stern glare that she usually used when he wasn't obeying her wishes and turned to go into the kitchen, deciding she might as well help by getting him something to eat.
Maybe I should explain their current situation better. You see, a few days ago, everything was very, very normal. The sun was shining as usual and the juniors of Lincoln High School were lounging in the front yard of the one story brick building. But on that day, something happened that would change five teens' lives for the worst.
The majority of the fault was placed on the sandy colored head of Thomas Hale, who's snarky attitude and hunger for girls would drive protective Jack over the edge, although both of the boys knew that the subject targeted could handle a fight like this herself quite well.
In short terms, what happened was Timmy had gotten impatient with Natalie's teasing (in his mind) 'No ways' and 'Not gonna happens' and 'Fuck offs'. He wouldn't go as far as to hit her, before she'd gotten pissed enough to throw a pretty powerful punch to his lower jaw after the seventh 'Hey Chili Pepper'.
Even though it almost counted as legal harassment, Nat was still trying to convince a very furious Jack that it had been an overreaction and that it was uncalled for, though her explanations fell on deaf ears as the seething boy vowed to either kill Timmy or be killed (of course, they all knew it wouldn't come to actual death).
Anyway, it had kind of come to a full blown war by now, and it was barely balancing on the edge of being legal. In fact, each side was just waiting for the other to break in to their little stronghold (these being small cabins that had become their home basically as soon as their parents had decided that they did not want their houses trashed by some teens whose minds were clouded with indignation). It was obvious to Natalie who was going to come out victorious, though. After all, there were five or six people in the other cabin, and the only person aside from them who'd decided to help out their less...favored side was Natalie's fourteen year old sister, Sabrina.
*final notes*
Sorry it seems cut short and unrealistic at the moment. The plot wasn't exactly the easiest one to explain and at the moment I have a bit of a headache that's clouding my thoughts :x I promise next update will be a bit more entertaining. Bye for now!
