First off, let me make somethings clear.
1. Never do self-bondage without some way of cutting yourself out of the ropes, if need be.
2. Never practice any kind of self-bondage until you have practiced on something else, such as a piece of wood, or something similar.
3. Never put rope around your neck, and never try bondage hanging from something unless you know someone will find you if you become stuck.
That being said, here is the story.
On Monday, my parents and brother left for what they said would be a few (2) hours. They were taking my brother to the hospital again, so i knew they would be gone longer then that. With that pic, i don't think i need to give a detailed description of my rope work. I will say that i used a black and white braided rope. Although I am a guy, i am chubby enough for this to work. I have seen it done on guys with a six pack, so it is possible.
I first took off my shirt and pants. Now, if this sounds stupid for someone doing self-bondage in their parents house, it is a very bad idea. I know this now. At the time though, my plan was to tie the ropes, put my clothes back on, do some chores, then take a walk. That part was a good idea. There is nothing more exciting then the knowledge you might get caught at any second, possibly by a complete stranger.
It was when I got home that the night took a turn for the worse. Since I still had a lot of time left, I decided to try something else. I love it when people are tied and then suspended from something, as long as it is done safely. I decided to try hanging myself from my basement ceiling. I have exposed rafters, and past experience has shown them to support my weight. Taking a long white cotton, i folded the rope in half. Passing both the ends under the back of the crotch rope, I drew the ends through the rest of the rope, creating a simple loop around the crotch rope. I tied this off so it would not move, then threaded the rest of the cotton rope under the ropes encircling my chest. The rope was then looped over a rafter, and pulled down. I then stood up on a chair. Pulling the hanging rope tight, I tied the end of the rope off on the top chest rope on my back. Crouching down to check my knots, i only felt a slight tug, nothing worth worrying about. So, i grabbed onto one of the rafters, and stepped off the chair. I then slowly lowered myself down, and finally let go of the rafter. I was now hanging from the ceiling.
Thanks to the way i tied the rope, i was almost parallel to the floor. Enjoying the feeling of hanging there, i relaxed for 15 to 20 minutes. Finally, i decided to untie myself and clean up. However, when i tried to get back on the chair, the ropes around my chest suddenly pulled tight. I don't know why.

So, what do you guys think? Was i stupid, or was it just an unfortunate accident?
