Okay, so I have a question. It is advertised, and I hear often it TuG stories, that those playing would put tape over the mouth of those they tie, and it is assumed to be effective.
Around 5th and 6th grade (I'm a junior now) I played TuG with some friends for a VERY short time. Most of them lost interest. Anyway, we did the traditional Duct Tape gag as it is always seen as effective. However, all of us were able to remove the gag even while we were tied up. Just flex and wiggle your jaw a bit and there you go.
So I tried it recently with some Industrial Duct Tape (Not cheap wanna-be's, I bought 3M Industrial Duct Tape from a Lowes.) and what do you know... it came off, no real problem. My lips hurt afterwards, and it looked like it may have ripped the top layer of skin off... but still no problem ripping the tape loose from my mouth and being able to talk... only with tape hanging on my top lip.
So, question. Do tape gags really work? I've never been able to get them to work for me. Sure they are great in the span of 10 seconds the person is gagged... until they flex their jaw and pry it loose. If so, what methods do you use?
