Tie a rope to a stationary object, like a bedpost. Make it maybe 10 feet long. Then extend it out and tie it around your waist. Then get another piece of rope and tie one wrist. Start looping this rope around your wrists behind your back, as in a figure "8". When you are finished this tie a knot (double) onto the rope around your waist. Then, and this may be the hard part, bring part of that rope up and over the figure eight, and keep doing this as you cinch it. Having it tied to the post gives it something to tighten it with. After some practice I am almost certain you will get to the point where you may not be able to escape. The only major problem with this is that your legs will be free. if, however, you tie your feet first then you will have to be very careful as you 'walk" towards the post to make your final knots, otherwise you may fall. Even then, getting down may be problematic, but you only asked how to tie your hands behind your back, right?
Let me know how it goes--provided you get out!
