Have you ever successfully "converted" someone towards bondage?

Bondage, along with BDSM as a whole, draws plenty of criticism, negative connotations, and misunderstanding from much of society. Despite being one of the most common fetishes, it is still seen as taboo subject and is generally reserved for "freaky" people.

With that in mind, has there ever been a time where you have successfully changed someone's opinion about bondage? Doesn't have to be a full blown transformation from detesting to doing it themselves. Just any sort of change in their mindset that you've helped to bring about. Perhaps putting some stereotypes of the fetish to rest or giving them something to consider that they may have not before. What was their response?

Any answers are appreciated. :)

There is only one God, and his name is Death. And there is only one thing we say to Death: Not today.

My girlfriend used to hate tugs but then I convinced her to tie my hands and she started loving it and tied me more often. I'm not sure why she loved it. Maybe it was her being in control or it was something else. Now we are married and it has not changed.
You will have to subdue me to restrain me. I been a bad boy so make sure you torture me too with anything but pain.

As kids, we 'played games that involved tying each other up. As I mentioned before, most of us didn't particularly like being tied up, but went along, because later, we'd be the ones doing the tying. And we liked tying our friends. Sometimes, when tied by the younger, smaller kids, who could not tie all that well, some of us would pretend that we couldn't escape. It kept their interest, and gave them a feeling of accomplishment. We also occasionally didn't tie them too well, so they could escape. That was also a confidence builder for them.

Whether or not those would count as "conversions," I don't know. I do know, that even though they knew they were going to be tied up, and didn't especially like it, they were always there when we played one of our games.

I got my ex gf Erin into bondage by tying her up while she was passed out.
She was mad at first but got into it and we started tying each other.

I've tried with my gf but I can't understand if she likes it or not. Seems like she doesn't dislike it but she never ask to me to try, even if I try to ask her sometimes. I can't understand. for me it's really frustrating that!

I played with my cousin when we were kids, I don't know if she likes it again!

Also, nobody talked about it during conversations, never, so I don't know if someone else could like! pity...
