History Poject(mm/m)

Time for another story! If you haven't read my last fictional story, that's okay, it's unrelated. But if you would like to, you may read it here.

Anyway, on with the story.
Note: The first two parts don't have a lot of TUGs
Doing a Favor

"I don't see why not," John told his friend, Thomas. He had just been asked to be a part of Thomas and his other friend, Nathan's World History project. While most of his friends had gone into honors history, John decided to take it easy with regular, do half the work and still compete with his friends 4.5 GPAs. Since everyone in the class was too busy working on their own projects, Nathan and Thomas turned to John to act in their video.

"What do I have to do," he inquired.
"All you have to do is lie there and be in the video. We'll take care of the rest," Thomas reassured him, "it will be easy."
"Okay, I'll do it. When and where?"
"Be at my house at 7:30 this Friday. And make sure you eat before you come and bring clothes for the whole weekend. You're welcome to sleep over."

Thomas walked to his next class while John stood there staring at him. He had no idea why, but something about Thomas made him want to... want to... well, frankly he had no idea what it was he wanted to do either, but he definitely enjoyed being around Thomas more than the other guys.

The Assignment

*Ding*Dong*

...

Footsteps come running down the stairs and the front door swings open.

"Welcome," Thomas greeted John. Nathan stood a at the top of the stairs, "Hey, John! Thanks for doing this man, it's going to be a lot of fun. It would have been hard to do on our own. "
"No problem, somewhat exactly is this project?" John asked, still not sure what he had gotten himself into.
"You'll find out," Nathan dodged the direct answer.

Thomas invited John in and they all went upstairs to Thomas's room. There, on the green carpet, were supplies for the project; a bunch of gauze rolls, bowls of colored water, fake clay jars, table cloths and a clear tarp. Off to the side, there was a wooden box, painted very elaborately with colors of gold and blue and red. It seemed to be covered with strange symbols. It clicked in John's mind that the box was a sarcophagus. A tripod stood in the center of the room with a video camera mounted on it.

As they entered the room, Thomas locked the door. "W-w-what's going on?" Johns green brown eyes conveyed confusion as his voice quivered in fear.
"Our project is suppose to be about Ancient Egypt, and we're covering the mummification process," Nathan explained.
Thomas elaborated, "We decided to go all out and actually mummify someone, well, as much as we could and still keep them alive."
"You're going to be our dead pharaoh."
"See, I told you it would be easy."

John was suddenly excited. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to not be able to move and be covered in gauze.

"Okay, I'll do it," he answered.
"It's not like you have a choice," Thomas began, "Okay let's get started. First you'll have to take your clothes off."
"What?!"
"We are going to start by removing the organs and everything. From death until burial. That means we're going to need you to take your clothes off. You can leave your underwear on if you like."

John wasn't sure how to react to this. For Thomas, he felt comfortable taking his green T-shirt off as well as his gray cargos. Then he peeled off his white Hanes socks s that all that was left was his pair of cotton white boxers. The words "if you like" ran through his head as if he had the option to get completely naked, but he didn't quite feel that comfortable yet, and especially didn't feel comfortable with Nathan seeing his... parts.

"Okay, we're going to need you to lie down on the tarp." Thomas instructed.

John did what he was told and laid down, stretching out his exposed abs and leaving his tan arms at his sides. The plastic of the tarp stuck a little bit to his skin and felt weird. He looked up at Thomas, and got lost staring at his bright blue eyes, contrasted by his fair skinned face and light sprinkling of freckles.

"Woah, don't get too excited," Nathan snapped John back to reality, "We've only just begun."

Thomas laughed. John was suddenly embarrassed to the point where his only remaining clothes began to fall back to where they started.

"Okay, so we'll start with removing the organs and putting them in the jars," Thomas said as he pulled out a cooler John hadn't noticed inside before. From the cooler, Thomas pulled out spaghetti, died red, a balloon shaped like a lung, a plastic heart from anatomy, and a goat bladder in the shape of a stomach. He placed them on the other side of the camera from John's body. As Thomas leaned over John, John had to try hard to not look at the wavy brown buzz cut lining his friend's scalp. Next, Nathan got out a marker and drew a cut on John's abs at the diaphragm. The cold wet marker felt slimy as it glided across John's skin.

They started filming and John closed his eyes to give the appearance of being dead(as well as a living person can act). He also tried to stop breathing or breathing very slowly. After Thomas had "removed" John's organs and put them in the respective jars, they had to remove the brain.

The next thing John knew, a cool rubbery substance slid up his nostril. "WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU DOING?"
"The next scene involves taking out the brain. We're going to stick red jello up your nose, then remove it like they would have done in ancient Egypt," Nathan explained.
"Hell no!"
"Hell yes. You're going to do it." Suddenly, Nathan sat on John's torso. He trie to fight it, but Thomas used his knees to clamp onto John's head. He was immobilized. Nathan started to spoon Jello into Johns nose. John squirmed as much as he could, but the cold substance obstructed his nostrils and made him feel congested.

Quickly, Nathan grabbed the camera, and started filming. It was bad enough to have jello in his nostrils, but then Thomas took a rubber hook and jammed it up his nose. Then, out of nowhere, John sneezed. Jello went flying all over Nathan.

All of a sudden, the three of them burst out laughing. It was perfect. They decided to leave that scene in the video for kicks and giggles. But now it was time for Nathan to get revenge for his jello snot shower.

Mummification

"Okay, now it's time to start the preservation process," Nathan told the camera. "Ancient Egyptians used perfumes and plant resin to preserve the body for the afterlife."

John felt cold water resembling the perfumes and resin being poured all over his body. He was soaked, as well as his boxers, and freezing from the air the vent was blowing directly onto him.

"Then they wrapped the body entirely in linen cloth." Then Thomas took the gauze and started wrapping John's feet.

Wait a minute, John though when he heard what Nathan said, are they really going to cover my entire body? Even my head?

Nathan stopped the camera. "Okay, so we're not going to show the whole wrapping, that would take too long."

John felt the paper thin gauze bing wrapped, layer after layer, slowly moving upwards. When they got to his knees, Nathan and Thomas stood him up. Then both of them each grabbed a roll of guaze and the speed doubled. Each rotation got slightly higher than the last. The pressure of multiple layers of gauze gave john a warm hugging feeling. They were wrapping it as tight as possible so it couldn't stretch any more. John tried to move his legs, but they just bounced back to where the wrappings helsd them in place. By now, about 8 rolls of gauze had been used on just his legs.

When they got to his arm pits, they had him stick his hands out. Then each of them took an arm and started wrapping. First, the medical wrapping hugged his shoulders. Then, his biceps felt the pressure of several layers of white cloth. Then his elbows, forearms, and wrists. Lastly, they took his hands, balled them up and used one roll each, just for his hands.

"Okay, cross your arms over your shoulders," Nathan instructed.

John, who by now was covered in bandages from toe to neck, was hesitant. "How am I going to get out?"

"You wont."

At this, John began to hop toward the door. Thomas and Nathn just stood there and laughed at the site of the brown haired teen looking like half a mummy struggling to reach freedom. They let him reach the door, but when he tried to open it, he discovered it was locked! His mummified fingers couldn't fumble the lock open. Suddenly his feet came ot from underneath him.

"Now, now, we can't have a mummy wandering the streets, now can we," Thomas teased.

He dragged John by the feet back to the tarp, which by now was starting to dry. John glared at his friend, although he couldn't understand why his heart was pounding so fast, not in fear, but some strange new emoition.

While Thomas held John's arms in place, Nathan wrapped him up to true mummy position where he had lost all motion in his arms. They watched the victim struggle around the room, say a few words he would never say in school, and decided to keep going.

The next thing they did was start wrapping his head.

"Wait a minute, how am I supposed to breathe?"

"You'll be able to breath through the gauze," Thomas reassured.

"Are you sure?"

"We'll find out."

That didn't sound very promissing, but John had no choice and was soon whited out into his own little world. Luckily for him, he could still breath, but there were so many layers of guaze, any time he tried to speak, it just came out as mumbles and groans. Like a truely horrifying monster.

Thomas and Nathan started filming again.

"Okay, stop moving, or we'll pour even more water on you," Nathan threatened.

John obeyed.

They continued on with their project, describibng how the mummy was covered in more layers, before being wrapped in one final cloth.

At this point, John felt gravity shift. He was rolled onto his side, then his stomach, other side, back. Then the pressure increased on some parts of his body moving upward from his ankles to his face, and then back again.

"They tied a rope around the body to keep the burial cloth close to the body," Nathan told the camera, but John couldn't hear through layers of cloth.

"Some believe that mummies can come to life and haunt their graves, but we all know that's not true," Thomas kicked the package lieng to his left right in the stomach.

"Hhhhhrrrrmmmm," the moan came out.

Then John felt himself being lifted off the ground. A rapid decension of his head, followed by a sarcastic "sorry" from Nathan, was padded by so many layers of cotton. John was lifted until level again and gently placed back on the ground. Suddenly, everything went dark. At this point, he wondered what was going on. He stared to struggle, but he found he was walle din on all four sides.

"They placed the mummy into a sarcophugus before placing it in the tomb."

"That's a wrap"

Some good descriptive writing here. By all means carry on if you wish but it makes a pretty good stand-alone as it is.

Nice story! I wonder what part 2 can be.

And I wish I had to do such things for school!

This is a very interesting angle to the 'normal' tie up tale and I can't wait to see which way the project will be going in the future.
