Hojojutsu aka martial arts bondage

I've been reading about Hojojutsu which is the practice of restraining your sparring partner with rope or cord in martial arts. Jujitsu apparently includes it in higher levels of training. Basically it teaches you how to tie up your prisoner or captive in what resembles a hogtie postion, but more elaborate.

I found a few pictures and videos that I linked below.

I'm intrigued about this. I've trained in Muay Thai kickboxing and taken MMA courses before, but not heard of this through my own experience. Does anyone know of this firsthand or have any personal insights about this? Its a perfect setup for TUG enthusiasts!
