Limits on being tied up

What are your limitiations for being tied up, and are they respected by your friends. For me safety needs to always be number 1 priority. The amount of clothing I'll let be removed is a shirt, maybe pants too once I trust someone a bit more. The tortures I allow are tickling, bad show torture, ice, a little stretching, and using food to torture me when I'm hungry. So tell me your limits.

I've said this before, and it bears repeating: TUG's should be fun for all concerned. When it stops being fun, it becomes abuse.

no nudity.
pain only when im not co-operating, and not too painful (but enough to make me co-operate)
no insects...
nothing really disgusting (e.g. dirty sock in my mouth i would hate. but i guess it could be used as a threat to make me be a good boy ;))
no breath play.

i really enjoy being tied up. but when these limits are broken, especially the "no insects" and "nothing really disgusting" i stop enjoying it. but no-one has ever gone past my limits although when i say "no-one" ive only ever did tugs with 1 person :L. hopefully i can meet lots more from this site.
i'm 17, male, a bit of a computer geek, and love to be tied up :D

I agree with that. But limits? Hard for me to say because I'm just now at a point where I want my limits to change, I'm thinking of expanding mine. But that also makes me see why it's important, cause if I want to go farther, how far is too far? So I have some thinking to do before I try something new, have to come up with those limits to stay safe.

As kids, the initial limit was 20 minutes, but then, we ranged from 10-15, and were smart enough to know that if the younger kids did not have fun (ie: Got loose, and/or got to tie up one of the older kids, or both), they'd drop out of the games.

There were exceptions. At 13, you could opt to stay tied up to 45 minutes, but that was it. And, when we played our version of "hide and go seek," sometimes a couple of the 12 and under kids might stay tied for 30-40 minutes, but there was ALWAYS someone close, and if anyone asked to be untied, they were untied, no questions asked. Sometimes, it was for a bathroom break; sometimes, a kid might just be tired of being tied, and needed a break or rest, but he did not have to give a reason.

In the adult world, the ties (and gags) can be a little tighter, and time limits extended, but the original point, is still that it has to be both consensual, and fun for everyone concerned. If it is neither, then it is inappropriate, and possibly, a violation of the law.

Most of my experience is from being a kid. Everything you said sounds pretty much like what we did, especially the part about younger kids having fun. I might not be the tugs guy I am today if I never got a chance to capture my older cousin or his friends, or if I was tied so long it was more like torture .

Good comments. Any further restraint past "I want out now" type of message could be considered false imprisonment and further touching (even aggressive tickling) could be considered 3rd degree assault although I've never run across a case that made it past the police and the prosecutor to finally get to the court.

Point being: Always use a safe word that normally would not show up in reflex verbage when someone is being tickled or ????
(e.g. "Pineapple" or something like a series of 3 grunts if gagged ---- decide before the fun starts) Then have a great time for all.
Keep safe --- we need to keep our readers. Right?
If you believe in yourself enough -
nobody else will figure out you're faking it.
