Past Games: Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario World, Goldeneye
More Recent Games: NCAA Football series (09-12, plus 2001 and 2003-05 in the old days in particular), Tiger Woods (13 is great), Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (first one just edges out the third one, which is better than the second)

The newest system I own is a PS2, so I don't get to play a lot of the newer games except for mooching off of my roommate's Xbox360, but in my mind, the original PS1 Crash Bandicoot trilogy contains some of the finest games ever made.

StarCraft, now SC2: HotS.
Red Alert 2, just so awesome.
Master of Orion 2
Rayman
Worms World Party

I play a lot of other things, but my fave is RTS, and I don't think many more games deserve "all time favourite" status. That list would include Supreme Commander, Empire Earth, Comix Zone, Homeworld, Total Anihilation, Osu!, the Touhou series, Unreal Tournament 3/2004 and other stuff I forget.

RPGs~

Dragon Quest VIII is one of my favorite jRPGs, though of course I love Final Fantasy. Favorite FF is probably XII, though IX is pretty high up there as well.

Old-school games I really enjoy are things like Donkey Kong Country II, Banjo-Tooie and 007 Goldeneye.

Thank you, N64 emulators, for giving me the chance to revisit my childhood and destroy games that I used to be terrible at.

Those old school games are so much more challenging than a lot of the stuff today!

I'm currently playing through Yoshi's Island again right now. :D

1.Runescape
2.Halo 4
3.Tetris

Weird selection huh? But I absolutely love them, and I'm the kind of guy who just likes to master a few games than play a lot. Also I'm a student and I have no money for new games lol :( Cool thread!

Borderlands 2
Batman Arkham City
Mass Effect 3

These are my favorite recent (more or less) games. If I included those over the years that I really enjoyed, I'd need a lot of time to compile that list :P

This thread was the inspiration behind me pulling out the PS2. Thanks, everyone.

Now I get to play through FFX and DQVIII again. =P

Also, what's this about the PS4 being announced? Seems like 3 hasn't been out that long... Geez.

You say that..... compair the PS3 to the computer at the time it was released, and now compaire it to a computer nowadays.... You can see why they would want to do better. Issue is they will not understand, a computer is better in the aspect that you can upgrade the bad parts and don't need to buy a whole new one....

Roanze, console hardware has been here for like 8 years. It's old outdated and games are suffering because of outdated hardware. This console generation really needs to just die already.

Also a game if you guys haven't played it. Mark of the Ninja is a great 2D stealth action game. It really is worth your time and it's cheap.
