Well, just a quick comment about one of your points:
I am an old "fart" now at 32, but as a kid I *did* play tie up games whenever possible, as the whole tying up thing had fascinated my as long as I can think.
Stories in the "True section" may be true or not- there is never 100% way to be sure. To me- it doesn't really matter, as long as they are believable. (Not that every story is...)

But when you read a story about a child that enjoys being tied up repeatedly for long periods of time, what makes more sense--that the child really exists or that this is an adult pedo bondage fantasy.

I would agree with you here except for one word, and that's "pedo". Adult fantasies about bondage don't have to be sexual; they surely can, but not mandatory. As Nicholas pointed out in much better words than I can, it may as well have to do with dreams of childhood innocence.

Amen to that! In the old forum somewhere was a thread about "teaching" children tie-up games.
A child should play the games *IT* wants, not the one their parents want it to play (this goes for sport addicted parents too, who want their kid to succed where they once failed).

Btw, thanks for the good discussion!
