Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that what you originally posted is truly gone forever:

So be careful the first time what you post.

Yeah, Cellofello... that's bound to make him feel lots better! :worried:
You're right of course, sadly enough... but damage control is still better than nothing.
It isn't just sites like this where people have to be careful. People say the damnedest things about themselves or posting the dumbest pics of themselves one can imagine on Youtube, Facebook and other places, and it winds up biting them in the ass years down the line. Not so much because of government watches or such things, but it can mess up your chances of getting or keeping a good job!

Or even messing up something equally as important, a meaningful relationship! My general rule is that I never post anything on the internet that I wouldn't also say aloud in a court of law.

I don't think your comments will quite "ruin your life", haha :) It sounds like you didn't even post anything on the thread of concern, so I'm pretty sure you'll be fine :P

Although I do find it weird how that thread has been allowed to go on for so long - nude photos of a girl who was in high school at the time the photos were taken? Not cool. . .

Am I missing something?
As far as I can tell Xtron2112 has not said or done anything wrong.
As to the thread in question, it seems very unclear to me. My understanding is that the poster is over 21. As she has been responding to requests, I guess that the photos are recent. Yes, she said at the start of the thread that the photos were taken when she was in high school, but as far as I can be sure, that only applied to the originals rather than the ones she posted later. And as the photos are of her, what we certainly know is that we have her permission to see them. I grant you that I have not taken the time to read that thread meticulously, so I may not have picked up on all the facts. Unless I have missed a photo, or am thinking about a different thread to what this is actually about, there are no nude photos, and no reason to assume the girl was in high school in some of the "edgier" pictures.
While some condemn or question the legality, others are praising the poster for the quality of her pictures. I can only assume that the moderators of this site are surely aware of the situation by now, (one of them even posted a comment on the thread) and therefore if the thread is allowed to continue, the logical conclusion is that the moderators (who have always done a reliably good job) are satisfied that the contents are OK. Surely a central question is this: Is anyone coming to any harm of any kind? If the answer is "no", then as far as I can tell, fair enough.
I hope I am being the voice of reason here and not the voice of the good person that does nothing.

Xtron probably took Chase's advice and deleted stuff; I haven't seen anything worth worrying about either.
