Search engine troubles

I was trying to do a search on stories involving tickling, but the word "tickle" or its forms come up as a word that the engine won't search. Is that a preference made by the administrators? Can it be changed so a person can search using that word?

phpBB search engine sucks. You will have an easier time using google instead. When using Google, type your search like this: tickling site:tieupgames.net

That will only show results from this website. The same trick can be used for other websites.

That's for sure. Even typing in an author's name gets you nowhere; thank goodness for the 'search user's posts' feature. phpBB is freaking useless.
Never tried your idea, but it sounds like a good one. Thanks for sharing.
