Self bondage - weather machine

I didn't know too many people who were into TUGs, and only twice was I with more than one other person when someone was tied up.

Although I eventually got some real handcuffs, my first set was the cast metal toy cuffs that could either open with a key or a release lever. Holding the release lever with needle-nosed pliers I was able to break it off by inducing metal fatigue. A small attachment to a Dremel tool (small electric drill) took care of what remained of the safety release. In addition to the key, any number of small, thin, sharp objects could open it so I had to use the cuffs where these things were not available.

There are only two ways I can think of to get out of self bondage. First is some type of combination lock you can't see to open until morning or a light on a timer comes on as in the "likho" story. The other is a slow delivery of keys in melting ice or Silly Putty. Getting a wind up alarm clock can be another alternative. Wind up the clock, set the alarm, put a small preshaped block of Styrofoam over the wind up key (gives a flat surface), put a key on it when it on the edge of a high shelf.

I got a towel, a six foot chain, keyed padlock, and cuffs in the closet. The keys were embedded in Silly Putty which I stuck to the bottom of the shelf over a small wicker basket. I held the lock with the shackle down and put the end of the chain on it. I count off enough links to go around my ankle so it can not slip over my heel (the 9th link works for my YMMV) and put the link on the shackle. Count off around 15 links (just empty loop at this point) and put it on the shackle. The next nine links went around the other ankle to the shackle and it was locked.

The towel was on the floor next to the closet door. I closed the door, put one cuff on, threaded the other cuff thru the chain loop (it's easier when you are on your back with your feet under your hips) and locked the other cuff and was effectively hogtied until the keys fell into the basket.

Not knowing how the air was going to be after a while I had put my face as close to the door as possible, but I didn't need to be concerned. After only a minute or so I felt a definite draft on my lips. I was my own weather machine in that air warmed by my body was rising and outside air was coming under the closet door to replace it.

I don't remember how long it took to deliver the keys. New Silly Putty lasts longer but experiment first.
