I agree with freeselfan that Tyler's story is being twisted and the difference between abuse and TUGs is being blurred.
I am 16 now, and my parents adopted me when I was 10. I was born profoundly deaf, and my ex-family couldn't handle it. I was kept shut in my bedroom all the time, being allowed out only for breakfast and supper to use the bathroom. When I got older and started school, my ex-paarents put a lock on the door so I couldn't get out. If my ex-sister was "caring" for me, she would often only let me out once a day and often tied me to the chair or my bedframe, making it really hurt. My ex-parents never tied me, but they never said anything or stopped my ex-sister from tying me.
My family now are the kindest, most caring and loving people you could meet.
I have a wonderful girlfriend called Laura. Last year, I beat the deamons of the past when Laura tied me up for the first time. We have tied each other up many times since, taking care no one is hurt or put in any danger.
The point to this is it is not the TUG that are dangerous or evil, but Tyler's parents and my ex-family. I hope they rot in hell - they deserve it!
TUGs are safer than boxing, motorcycling, driving a car, drinking and smoking, to name just 5.
Can we not let poor Tyler rest in peace?
