apart.post.t Room For Rent!
apart.post.b While having some free time, {0:p} spent a few mindless minutes checking {0:p} phone and saw a posting from someone advertising a room for rent in the same street as {0:sp} club. It's a small studio apartment, but the rent is reasonable, at just $%D1 per month.
apart.post1.b The ad indicates that {3:A} is the owner and {3:p} has %I1 rooms available for rent.
apart.post.opt.ign {0:P} ignore it.
apart.post.opt.check Seems very convienent. {0:P} will go to check it out.
apart.post.opt.end {0:P} set up a filter so {0:P} never see this message again.
hint.apart.post You now have the opportunity to find a real place to live in, so no more living in your office. A turns out there are some rooms for rent close enough to your club that you can move back and forth without using energy or time. It would be like going to another room in the club. These rooms won't be available forever, as other characters may grab them. While they are available, you will get periodic notifications about it allowing you to rent one. Or you can turn off those notifications, but there's no way to turn them back on if you do so.
apart.post.check.b {0:P} walk over to the address listed in the posting which was just next to {0:sp} club and knock on the door.
apart.post.check.new.b A {1:!g_person} answers the door and {0:p} explain that {0:p} are here inquiring about the room for rent. {1:P} introduces {1:vp} as {1:A} and now {0:p} have a new acquaintance.
apart.post.check.old.b {1:IN} answers the door and {0:p} explain that {0:p} are here inquiring about the room for rent.
apart.post.check.in.b {1:P} then asks {0:p} to come in and {1:p} will show it to {0:p}.
apart.post.info.b {1:cN} explains that {1:p} lives by {1:vp} in the bottom floor of {1:sp} house and then upstairs there are three small studio apartments that {1:p} is renting out. {1:P} gives {0:p} a small tour and {0:p} learn that each one has a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom. The apartments are furnished, so that's good. There's no bedroom, as it's a studio, but the couch has a pull out bed. They all have a door to the outside so as a tennant {0:p} don't have to go thru {1:sp} house to reach them.
apart.post.offer.b The tour completed, {1:N} says that the rent is $%D1 per month, including utilities. {1:P} won't raise it for the first year but after that depending on how things are, {1:p} may have to raise it. So what do {0:p} say? Do {0:p} want to take it?
hint.apart.post.offer If you take it, you will have a new place to sleep in but will have to pay the rent each month. If you say no, and the owner likes you enough, he/she may offer you a better deal. If you don't take it, other characters may rent it instead. If it remains available, you wll be notified monthly about it giving you another opportunity to rent it. Your rent will be due on the first of each month at which time you will have the opportunity to move out instead of paying it.
apart.post.offer.no.b {0:P} told {1:N} that {0:p} were not going to take it and {1:p} was disappointed. {1:P} started to walk {0:p} out when {1:p} said,
apart.post.offer.nom.b _"How about this? {1:P;1} could use a strong young {0:!g_person} like {0:p} around. {1:P;1}'ll let {0:p} have it for $%D1 instead, if {0:p} can help {1:op;1} with some ocassional heavy lifting tasks. What do {0:p} say?"_
apart.post.offer.nof.b _"How about this? {0:p} seem like smart, tech savvy young {0:!g_person} that can help me when {1:P;1} having trouble with my phone or the internet. {1:P;1}'ll let {0:p} have it for $%D1 instead, if {0:p} can help {1:op;1} with the technology stuff. What do {0:p} say?"_
apart.post.offer.no.opt.yes _"It's a deal!"_
apart.post.offer.no.opt.no _"Sorry, answer is still no."_
apart.post.offer.yes.opt.no _"I rather pay the full amount and not have to lift stuff."_
apart.post.offer.no2.b {0:P} told {1:N} that {0:p} still were not going to take it and {1:p} was really disappointed. "Maybe another time," {1:p} said, somewhat wistfully as {0:p} started to walk back to {0:sp} office.
apart.post.offer.yes.b {0:P} told {1:N} that {0:p} were going to take it and {1:p} was very happy. {1:P} then added,
apart.become_tennant.b Everthing agreed to, {1:N} made {0:p} sign some simple paperwork and asked {0:p} for the first partial month's rent, which came out to $%D1. You paid the rent and {1:p} gave {0:p} a key to the apartment. Now {0:p} have a new home!\n\n
apart.become_tennant2.b After this, the rent amount will be $%D1 each month.

apart.rent.t Rent Payment is Due!
apart.rent.b {0:P} got a reminder from {3:IN} that it's time to pay this month's rent.
apart.rent.new.b {3:P} is now indicating that {3:p} has to raise {0:p} rent. {0:csp} monthly rent payment will now be $%D1.
apart.rent.new.disc.b This new payment includes the same discount as before.
apart.rent.same.b {0:csp} monthly rent payment is $%D1.
apart.rent.adj.b But after applying some adjustments for services {0:p} provided, {0:p} owe just $%D1.
apart.rent.q.b Do {0:p} wish to pay it now?
apart.rent.q.opt.move No, {0:P}'m moving out instead.
apart.rent.move_out.b {0:P} tell {3:N} that {0:p} are moving out. {3:P} is disappointed and a bit upset about {0:p} springing this on {3:op} at the last minute. {3:P} begs {0:p} to stay. But {3:p} can't afford to give {0:p} any further discounts. {3:P} says that $%D1 is as cheap a price as {0:p} will find in this town.
apart.rent.move_out.opt.stay Ok, {0:P} will stay for at least one more month.
apart.rent.move_out.opt.move No, {0:sp} mind is made up.
hint.apart.rent Your apartment rent is due on the 1st of each month and covers your living expenses for the next month. Every year, the landlord/lady will raise your rent about 10%. But depending on the amount of work you did for ^him or ^her, you may have to pay less.

apart.visit.start.t A Knock on the Door
apart.visit.start.b {0:P} are startled by someone knocking on {0:sp} door. {0:P} are not expecting any visitors so {0:p} wonder who that could be.
apart.visit.start.opt.ans {0:P} answer the door.
apart.visit.neighbor.new.t A New Neighbor
apart.visit.neighbor.new.b {0:P} answer the door and it's {1:IN}.
apart.visit.neighbor.new.n.b {1:P} says that {1:sp} name is {1:A} and that {1:p} just moved in next to {0:p}. So now {0:p} made a new acquaintance.
apart.visit.neighbor.new.k.b {1:P} says that {1:p} just moved in next to {0:p} so {0:p} are now neighbors.
apart.visit.neighbor.new.opt.wel {0:P} say "Welcome to the neighborhood!"_
apart.visit.neighbor.new.cookies.b After a quick bit of talking, {1:N} handed {0:p} a plate of cookies, saying "Oh, {1:P;1} almost forgot! {1:P;1} baked these cookies {1:vp;1}. Hope {0:p} like them!"_
apart.visit.neighbor.new.goodbye.b And then after a few more minutes of small talk, {1:N} excused {1:vp} and left.
apart.visit.ll.sex.t A Sexy Proposal
apart.visit.ll.sex.b {0:P} answer the door and it's {1:IN} and {1:p} says that {1:p} needs to ask {0:p} something so {0:p} invite {1:op} inside. {1:P} then gets right to the point. {1:P} is very horny and needs to get laid and {0:p} are the only one around. "So what do {0:p} say? Want to fuck?"_
apart.visit.ll.sex2.b {0:P} say no to {1:sN} proposal but {1:p} won't take it. {1:P} begs {0:p} to reconsider.
apart.visit.ll.sex2.undress.b {1:P} even starts to undress.
apart.visit.ll.sex2.end.b Then {1:p} gets close to {0:p} and starts groping {0:p} while wispering softly on {0:sp} ear how much fun {0:p} are going to have.
apart.visit.ll.sex3.b Once again {0:p} say that {0:p} don't want to have sex with {1:op} and this time {1:p} tries a different approach: "Ok, how about I knock off $%I1 off next month's rent? But {0:p} got to make {1:op;1} climax!"_
apart.visit.ll.sex3.opt.ok In that case, then yeah!
apart.visit.ll.sex4.b {0:P} do the math and realize that means that after subtracting the $%D1 adjustments
apart.visit.ll.sex4.1.b next month's rent will be just $%I1.
apart.visit.ll.sex5.b The sex session completed, {1:N} looks at {0:p} and thanks {0:p} for a job well done. "{0:P} earned a discount for next month's rent!" {1:p} says. {0:csp}
apart.visit.ll.sex6.b The sex session completed, {1:N} looks at {0:p} disappointed that {0:p} were not able to close the deal and promises to give {0:p} another chance soon.
hint.apart.visit.ll.sex If you refuse your landlord/landlady's advances, and he/she is desperate enought, he/she may be willing to offer you something in return for sex, like a discount.
apart.visit.ll.t An All-Too Common Visit
apart.visit.ll.boring.b {0:P} answer the door and it's {1:IN} and {1:p} says
apart.visit.ll.boring.1 _"The mailman left some of {0:sp} mail in my mailbox by mistake." And then {1:p} handed {0:p} some mail, most of it junk.
apart.visit.ll.boring.2 _"{1:P;1} got a package when {0:p} weren't home and {1:P;1} signed for it." And then {1:p} handed {0:p} a package from something {0:p} ordered online.
apart.visit.ll.boring.3 _"A strange man came looking for {0:p} yesterday. ^He wouldn't give me ^his name. Seemed very sketchy. Just figured {0:p} should now." {0:P} wonder who that would be but figured if it's important ^he will find you.
apart.visit.ll.boring.4 _"{1:P;1} was making an apple pie but had too many apples so {1:P;1} made two. And {1:P;1} can't eat them both, so here {0:p} go." And {1:p} handed {0:p} and freshly baked apple pie.
apart.visit.ll.boring.5 _"So {0:p} are aware, {1:P;1}'m having some work done in the house tomorrow morning, so {0:p} may see and hear some workers. Hope they don't wake {0:p} up too early."
apart.visit.ll.boring2.b {0:P} thanked {1:op} and {1:p} made some uneventful small talk and then left.
apart.visit.ll.lift.b {0:P} answer the door and it's {1:IN} and {1:p} says that {1:p} needs {0:sp} help with a task. And it's the reason why {0:sp} rent is cheaper so {0:p} can't say no.
apart.visit.ll.lift2.b {0:P} follow {1:N} down to {1:sp} house where {1:p} explains the situation.
apart.visit.ll.lift.1 {1:P} wants {0:p} to move some furniture around in {1:sp} living room.
apart.visit.ll.lift.2 {1:P} has a new lamp that {1:p} wants to hang over the dining room table.
apart.visit.ll.lift.3 {1:P} dropped a ring and it rolled under the fridge and needs someone to move it or lift it so {1:p} get it back.
apart.visit.ll.lift.4 {1:P} has some boxes of old books that {1:p} wants to carry up to the attic.
apart.visit.ll.lift.5 {1:P} has some old junk that {1:p} needs to be taken to the dumpster.
apart.visit.ll.lift.f1 {1:csp} computer is stuck and it's not responding.
apart.visit.ll.lift.f2 {1:P} is trying to download some photos from {1:sp} phone to {1:sp} computer.
apart.visit.ll.lift.f3 {1:P} can't log in into a web site from {1:sp} computer and it keeps telling {1:op} that {1:sp} password is not correct.
apart.visit.ll.lift.f4 {1:P} bought a new printer for {1:sp} computer and can't figure how to hook it up.
apart.visit.ll.lift.f5 While cleaning {1:p} accidentally unplugged some wires from the back of {1:sp} TV and now doesn't know where they are supposed to go.
apart.visit.ll.lift.opt.ok {0:P} say {0:P} will help {1:op} with it.
apart.visit.ll.lift3.b {0:P} went and did the task that {1:N} needed done. It wasn't that hard, but it cost {0:p} some energy. When it was done, {1:p} was very thankful.
apart.visit.ll.water.b _"Sorry about this, but there's an issue with the pipes in this building and they need to shut off the water to the second floor while they fix them. Probably going to take all day. If {0:p} need to use the bathroom feel free to use {1:up;1}. {1:P;1}'m going to run some errands now, so {1:P;1} will leave my door unlocked in case {0:p} need it while {1:P;1}'m out." {1:P} apologized again and then left.
apart.visit.ll.water.opt.work {0:P} just go to work.
apart.visit.ll.water.opt.dont {0:P} just go back to what {0:P} was doing before.
apart.visit.ll.water.opt.shower Actually, {0:P} should go take a shower now.
apart.visit.ll.water.go.b {0:P} figure now is the ideal time to take a shower so {0:p} grab a towel and other toiletries and head downstairs to {3:sN} house.
apart.visit.ll.water.liv.b The door to {3:sN} house was indeed unlocked like {3:p} said it would be.
apart.visit.ll.water.bath.b {0:P} then head to the back of the house where {0:p} think the bathroom is. {0:P} are not quite sure what door it is, so {0:p} take a guess and open one door.
apart.visit.ll.water.bedroom.b It turns out it was the wrong door, as that led to the bedroom, where {1:N} was changing. {1:P} didn't hear {0:p} at first and was not looking at {0:p}. What do {0:p} do?
apart.visit.ll.water.bedroom.opt.close {0:P} attempt to close the door quitely before {1:p} notices me.
apart.visit.ll.water.bedroom.opt.sorry {0:P} say "Sorry!"_
apart.visit.ll.water.bedroom.close.b {0:P} started to close the door, but {1:N} then saw {0:p}. At that point all {0:p} could muster was a simple "Sorry!" but
apart.visit.ll.water.bedroom.sorry.b {0:P} cleared {0:sp} throat to call attention to {0:vp} and once {1:N} saw {0:p}, {0:p} said "Sorry!" but
apart.visit.ll.water.bedroom.door.b {1:p} just said it was ok and told {0:p} the bathroom door was on the other side of the hall.
apart.visit.ll.water.opt.explain {0:P} explain that {0:P} thought {1:p} said {1:p} wasn't going to be home.
apart.visit.ll.water.bedroom.explain.b {1:N} says that yes, {0:p} did say that but then had to change {1:sp} clothes and that's when {0:p} barged in.
apart.visit.ll.water.bedroom.find.b {1:N} finished dressing and {0:p} went looking for the actual bathroom door.
apart.visit.ll.water.bathroom.b It turned out to be the right door but as {0:p} opened the door, {0:p} found {1:N} inside, naked. {1:P} was startled to see {0:p} and then attempted to reach for a towel.
apart.visit.ll.water.bathroom2.b {0:P} instinctively closed the door and then attempted to apologize further from the other side.
apart.visit.ll.water.bathroom3.b A minute later, {1:N} opens the door and tells {0:p} it's ok. And tells {0:p} that {0:p} can use it now.
apart.visit.ll.water.bathroom.opt.ask {0:P} ask what {1:p} is doing there.
apart.visit.ll.water.bathroom4.b {1:N} is not happy with {0:p} barging in on {1:op} and asks {0:p} to leave and shut the door.
apart.visit.ll.water.bathroom5.b {0:P} do as {3:N} asked {0:p} and close the door and {0:p} wait in the hallway. {0:P} try to explain how {4:N} told {0:p} that {0:p} could use {4:sp} bathroom to take a shower and {3:N} says that's also why {3:p} is here.
apart.visit.ll.water.bathroom6.b {0:P} waited outside the bathroom door for several minutes until {1:N} finally finished. When {1:p} came out, {0:p} apologized again, but {1:p} was still pretty upset as {1:p} walked away, but leaving the bathroom for {0:p} to use.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.b It turned out to be the right door and now {0:p} found {3:sp} bathroom.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.opt.ready {0:P} start getting ready to take a shower.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.barge.b Suddenly, while {0:p} are taking a shower, {1:N} walks in. {1:P} immediately tries to apologize.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.barge.opt.wait {0:P} ask {1:op} to wait outside.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.barge.opt.join {0:P} ask {1:op} to join {0:op}!
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.wait.b {0:P} finish {0:sp} shower while {3:N} waits outside and then get dressed and return home.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.norm.b {0:P} take a nice, hot uneventful shower. Then {0:p} get dressed and return to {0:sp} home.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.nojoin.b {0:P} told {3:N} that {3:p} could join {0:p} in the shower but {3:p} declined. {3:csp} loss, {0:p} think. {0:P} then finish {0:sp} shower while {3:N} waits outside and then get dressed and return home.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.join.b {0:P} told {1:N} that {1:p} could join {0:p} in the shower and {1:N} accepted. {1:P} undressed and then entered the shower with {0:p}.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.join2.b {1:N} is taking a shower with {0:p}. Do {0:p} want to try to take this further?
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.join3.b While {0:p} decided to not push this any further, {1:N} didn't see it that way and {1:p} started to make a move on {0:p}.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.join3.opt.yes {0:P} go with it!
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.join3.opt.no {0:P} put a stop to it.
apart.visit.ll.water.shower.finish.b After the shower was finished, you both got dressed and went your separate ways.

apart.visit.neighbor.t Another Visitor
apart.visit.neighbor.noop.b {0:P} answer the door and it's {0:sp} neighbor {1:N}. {1:P} just stopped by to hand {0:p} some mail that got delivered to {1:op} by mistake. It was all junk so not sure why {1:p} bothered. That done, {1:p} wished {0:p} a good day and left.
apart.visit.neighbor.rec.b {0:P} answer the door and it's {0:sp} neighbor {1:N}.
apart.visit.neighbor.rec.opt.a {0:P} ask what does {1:p} needs.
apart.visit.neighbor.ingr.b {1:N} says "Sorry to bother {0:p} but {1:P;1} cooking something and realized that {1:P;1}'m out of {0:!ingredient}. Wondering if {0:p} have some {1:P;1} could borrow?"_
apart.visit.neighbor.ingr.opt.sorry {0:P} say that {0:P}'m sorry but {0:P} don't have any.
apart.visit.neighbor.ingr.opt.yes {0:P} say sure and tell {1:op} to help {1:vp} to whatever {1:p} needs.
apart.visit.neighbor.ingr.yes.b {1:P} was happy {0:p} helped {1:op} and said {1:p} only needed a little bit. {1:P} promised {1:p} would return the favor if {0:p} were ever in need.
apart.visit.neighbor.ingr.no.b {1:P} was disappointed that {0:p} couldn't help {1:op} and then left to knock on a different neighbor's door.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.b {1:N} starts to speak but it's obvious {1:p} has had too much to drink or maybe is high. Must have been quite a night last night. {1:P} is incoherent and slurring {1:sp} sentences but eventually {0:p} realize that {1:p} lost {1:sp} keys and can't get into {1:sp} apartment.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.opt.crash {0:P} let {1:op} crash in {0:sp} place for a bit.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.opt.ll {0:P} go find {3:IN} so {3:p} can open {1:sp} door.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.opt.shut {0:P} shut the door and let {1:op} pass out in the hallway.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.ll.b {0:P} tell {1:N} to wait, although not sure {1:p} grasped the concept. And then went downstairs to look for {3:N}.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.ll2.b {0:P} knock on {1:sN} door and fortunately {1:p} is home and answers the door. {0:P} explain the situation and {1:p} grabs {1:sp} keys and comes upstairs with {0:p}.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.ll3.b Once upstairs, {1:N} appears to have passed out on the floor of the hallway. {2:N} opens the door to {1:sp} apartment and then the two of you carry {1:sN} limp body back inside and lay it on the couch. "{2:P;2} think we've done enough," says {2:N} and {0:p} agree. So you both leave {1:op} there and return to your homes.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.shut.b {0:P} tell {1:N} that {0:p} can't help {1:op} and suggest {1:p} go look for {3:N} instead. {1:P} is too out of it to understand what {0:p} said but that's not {0:sp} problem. {0:P} then give {1:sp} a little push away from {0:sp} door and then close it. And then {0:p} return to what {0:p} were doing before.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.b {0:P} realize {1:N} is in no condition to do anything, {0:p} help {1:op} inside and lead {1:op} to the couch. Were {1:p} instantly passes out.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash2.b {1:N} is passed out on {0:sp} couch. What do {0:p} do now?
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash2.opt.wait {0:P} wait for {1:op} to wake up.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash2.opt.leave {0:P} don't want to be here when {1:p} wakes up so {0:P} leave.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.wake.b After a couple of hours, {1:N} woke up, confused and disoriented. {0:P} gave {1:op} some water and explained what happened.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.cum.b {1:P} did ask what happened to {0:sp} clothes and then noticed there was dried up cum on {1:op}. How do you explain?
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.clothes.b {1:P} did ask what happened to {0:sp} clothes. How do you explain?
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.clothes.opt.dumb {0:P} play dumb and say {0:P} don't know.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.clothes.opt.idid {0:P} say that {0:p} took them off cause they were such a mess.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.clothes.opt.idid2 {0:P} say that {0:p} took {1:sp} clothes off cause they were such a mess but the cum must have happened before {1:p} got here.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.clothesok.b {1:N} appears to have accepted {0:sp} answer. {1:P} then thanked {0:p} for taking care of {1:op}.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.clothesnotok.b {1:N} is visibliy annoyed at {0:p} over {1:sp} being undressed. However {1:p} still somewhat appreciated {0:p} letting {1:p} crash in {0:sp} place.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.dress.b {1:P} then put {1:sp} clothes back on and left.
apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.left.b Once {1:p} got {1:sp} bearings, {1:p} thanked {0:p} profusely and then left.
hint.apart.visit.neighbor.drunk.crash.clothes When your neighbor wakes up and asks about ^his or ^her clothes, you can play dumb or say you did it. Playing dumb will work best for those with low will power while giving an explanation may be a better option for the more intelligent. However, both approaches have a low chance of success.
hint.apart.visit.neighbor.drunk When your neighbor comes to visit you asking for help because ^he or ^she can't get into their own apartment, you can ignore it (which gives you a negative opinion penalty from the neighbor), you can go look for the landlord/lady to help open the apartment (which gives you a small positive opinion bump from the neighbor and the landlord) or you can let the neighbor sleep it off in your aparment (which gives you a positive opinion boost from the neighbor and opens up other possibilities).
apart.visit.neighbor.look.b {1:P} says that {1:p} is looking for {3:N} but can't find {3:op} and is not answering {1:sp} phone. {1:P} is wondering if {0:p} have heard from {3:op} lately.
apart.visit.neighbor.look.opt.no {0:P} say {0:P} haven't seen or heard from {3:op} in a few days.
apart.visit.neighbor.look.opt.help {0:P} say {0:P} haven't and ask if there's something {0:P} can do to help.
apart.visit.neighbor.look.no.b {1:N} thanked {0:p} anyway and then went to know on another neighbor's door.
apart.visit.neighbor.look.help.b {1:N} thanked {0:p} but said there's probably nothing {0:p} can do. {1:csp} oven is not working and it's pretty old so probably needs to be replaced, or at least needs major repairs. {0:P} went to take a look anyway, but there was nothing for {0:p} to do about it. {1:P} did appreciate {0:p} attempt to help.
