■ STOP — Stops the presses and returns playhead to start or loop point.
▶ PLAY — Starts printing the whole mix with sample-accurate timing (like the Bureau of Engraving).
● REC — Arms recording. Hit PLAY while any track(s) are armed to capture live audio from your mic/line. You hear the other tracks + direct monitoring. Legal tender only.
ARM — Click to arm a track for recording. Multiple tracks can record at once (overdub heaven - stack those bills).
MUTE / SOLO — Classic. Solo mutes everything else. Real gain staging underneath (no counterfeit levels).
FADER — Drag the bill up/down. This is a real gain node. 0dB at center-ish. Adjusts the money supply of the mix.
PAN KNOB — Drag left/right. Uses StereoPannerNode — true stereo positioning, no fake math. Left = West Wing, Right = East Wing.
Drag clips left/right to move in time (like moving funds between accounts).
Drag the left or right edge of a clip to trim (non-destructive — adjusts buffer offset like cutting a check).
Click a clip to select (gold outline). Press DEL or BACKSPACE to shred it.
Right-click any clip or empty space in the track lanes for a context menu (Delete, Duplicate, Split, Copy/Paste, Import Here, Record From Here, Clear Track, etc.).
Ruler click sets playhead position exactly (like stamping the date on a note).
Drag audio files (wav, mp3, ogg, flac) straight onto a track lane or use the DEPOSIT button and pick a target account/track.
All audio is decoded with real decodeAudioData — sample accurate (no funny money).
Every track has real BiquadFilterNodes: Lowshelf (bass ~220Hz), Peaking mid (1.2kHz Q=1.2), Highshelf (treble ~4.5kHz). Click the small "EQ" button on the strip to open live sliders (±12 dB). These directly control the filter gains like adjusting interest rates. Master has a real DynamicsCompressorNode (threshold -18, ratio 4) — the Fed's glue. All of it is in the export WAV too.
Toggle M for click. The click is scheduled precisely on beat divisions using the AudioContext — no drift (on the dot like payroll).
LOOP button repeats from 0 to the end of your longest clip. For custom region use the ruler markers (future).
Change BPM (the Fed rate) anytime — transport reschedules instantly.
Exports a perfect 44.1kHz stereo WAV of the current mix (all processing, volumes, pans, EQ, compressor). Uses offline rendering for bit-perfect accuracy. Name it something like "killys_freedom_note.wav". This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private.
Hover anything with a green/black border or control and the tooltip tells you exactly what it does in plain banker talk. Click "HOW TO USE" anytime. All definitions are factual (no counterfeit info).
Session auto-saves to your browser (IndexedDB). Clips, positions, gains, everything. Refresh and it comes back like clocking in at the Mint. Print (export) often.
