Another One for the Road

So here's the last of my code snippets. I'm sure you recongize this one. It's literally the current layout. I debated on whether or not I wanted to give out one of the older versions of this but I decided on giving out the current one. I will say, it is not a literal 1:1 rip of my website. I deleted pretty much everything within the main directories. Not that it matters, if you want to see something specific, you can right click on the page and check it out. Make sure to do it within the frame, because this runs on iframes.
There is a lot of scripts within this page that are just left as is. I'll repeat what I said on my 2nd layout: You should probably download the clean version of the code from anyone's website rather than use the download with my information. Hell, some of it won't even work if you just plop it on your site with my edits (namely Ayano's) because it requires specific information you would have to set up yourself. As I've stated 100 times at this point, this is literally just for learning and seeing what I have, and not meant to be deployed to other websites. But I also can't stop you from doing anything.
Within this folder you're only going to find a few things: My splash page, all of the scripts & css I use, The code for the main part of the layout, the front page for my site, and the site information page (which is this.) Like the shrine's layout & the miniblog layout, I'm not rehosting within a mini directory, I'm just putting up a direct link where you can either preview this in an HTML layout, or opening the preview in your choice of browser. There's also quite a few empty folders. These are here for a reason. They're simply to map out how I lay out my directories for anyone who is confused. I didn't put anything further inside, including individial image folders and what not, because I didn't see the point in bloating this any further.
As is typical with me, none of my code really has any notes on it, and some of it is just a straight up mess. I originally minified some of my CSS, but it's been a while, and I had completely forgotten some of my other files. I also had once validated most of my pages, and really only left the center tags because I didn't plan on using a flexbox every time I wanted to post media, or something like that. Am I lazy? absolutely. Have fun deciphering what's up to date and decent code and what's just an ugly disgusting mess. I'm sure anyone who downloads this or takes a look under the hood will see my Javascript and go "what the hell are you doing?" And the answer to that is just "yes."
This site is quite literally held together with duct tape, hot glue, and a dream. Other people's Javascript carries it, because I'm quite honestly incompetent when it comes to Javascript.
Much later, probably when I change to a newer version of this, this particular file will be updated. And because my plans for next year with my site are to make it far more mobile responsive and less of a mess, you'll probably see this get slightly tweaked to have an on site preview. But that's still some months away.
Until then, have fun with this and all my other layouts. I put these up out of love and to be a resource, even if they're a bit of a mess. All of my stuff is, to be quite honest. But I suppose that's the fun of making a site. Some people want something simple and out of the box. Other people want something cool and unique. Anyone who's passionate about this will learn from others as they go about building their sites, and peeking around in other people's code is all part of the learning process. And thats why I've put all this stuff up. I've been told by some I should gatekeep my secrets and keep it all to myself, but that really isn't me. So take my mess, and learn to make something hopefully better. Improve upon it. Or just pick apart the things you like and see what you come up with based on that foundation. Something something, social media sucks, lack of expression, you get the idea.
Design Credits
Some of the pixel graphics have placeholder credits, being where I picked them up from, rather than definitive source. It's kind of hard to track things down at times, so I figure this is the best I can do, in the meanwhile. If you're looking for graphics credits, please check graphics section for the full list (or alternatively the site map.)
